Van der Valk Hotel Schiphol A4 Review

The place is nice, but the staff are snobs. My family and I got booked here overnight after we missed our connecting flight to LAX due to FOG. The place is clean and modern, but in the middle of nowhere. Something to keep in mind if you plan on staying here is that unless your blond with blue eyes, and well dressed the service is mediocre. The bar tender was cool. He was the only staff member that seamed to give everyone the same quality of service.

Lovely two days in the Top Suite. Super good service and the pool and wellness was wonderful. The gym is complete. Thank you for the good care and service. Highly recommended. See you soon!

Great hotel. Got an room upgrade. Breakfast costs 15 . Bus drives regularry to the airport. But not early enough sometimes.

Always like it again. You sleep well there. And when the right track is open, you can watch aircraft.

The rooms are huge and really comfortable. Great and relatively rich breakfast. However, the location of the hotel is far from the city center. Although there is a nice shopping center in front of the hotel with lots of restaurants, it is not recommended for those who do not own a car.

Batteries of the remote control almost empty. TV channels not complete. The aerator of the tap was missing. Furthermore, everything was fine

15 minute free shuttle bus from the airport. the room is large and clean with two single beds. no coffee, tea or kettles in the room. the breakfast buffet is very nice, many choices of bread, ham, cheese, fresh fruit, coffee, soft drinks, and some hot plates. staffs are courteous and welcoming.

Very large hotel with many facilities and good breakfast buffet. Speaking reception. Own shuttle bus to and from the airport (free). Ended minus is the location relative to Amsterdam.

Booked sleep park fly for the second time.
Functions perfectly. Shuttle bus used for transport to and from Schiphol. Superior room in the 'I'am' section was neat and modern and had all necessary amenities including towels.
Staff were neat, friendly and helpful.
Everything is clearly explained and indicated, making this part of the busy and long journey a pleasant one.

I stayed at this hotel, for a delay that made us lose the connection. AirFrance took care of the stay and dinner included in the hotel dining room, this in itself more than acceptable. The Hotel is located in the airport area. The rooms are spacious and clean!

Booked for 2 nights and not disappointed. Very friendly welcome and quick check-in. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is extensive and you sit in a quiet environment. A shuttle service to the airport is available and runs until 11:40 p.m.

Location is near the Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. A good place to host international conferences and conclave.

Hotel suitable as a transit, but not for relaxing and for going out in Amsterdam for example. Reasons: 1. You can order a massage, but for example a female masseuse is not possible. 2. When you are at the wellness you have virtually no privacy, especially at the swimming pool everyone can 'watch monkeys'. Further warning: the buses eg Qliner 370 drive until very late at night from Schiphol to the hotel, however on arrival it is impossible to walk through the bridge restaurant after 1 am! So you can't get to the other side of the hotel. Calling a taxi makes no sense, they don't come. In other words, you will be obliged to cross a life-threatening 4-lane highway or to speak to random people at the drive-through of the Burger King and ask begging if they will take you to the hotel ...

The hotel has loads of character, good facilities, a nice breakfast buffet and very comfortable beds. It's much nicer and more leisure-oriented than the usual soulless corporate hotels I'm used to, like Best Western, Bastion, Park Inn, etc.

The pool can get busy with families and teenagers, which is a bit if an issue if you're trying to swim for fitness like me, and it's slightly further from the airport, but it's competitively priced and I'd definitely recommend it.

It says 4 stars, but it doesn't seem like it and it doesn't feel like that. Handover between reception is not good either

Great hotel close to Schiphol. Ideal to spend the night and then after a nice breakfast to be taken by shuttle from the hotel to the airport. You can park your car for a maximum of 30 days in the hotel's parking lot.

We really had a beautiful room. It was quiet there and they were very friendly. Also nice is that you have a spa and a swimming pool!

Hotel is clean, but outdated. Rooms are neat. Ibiza suite is a nice design, but also Ibiza temperatures in the room. Hotel is close to Schiphol and there are plenty of eateries nearby. There is also a free shuttle bus to Schiphol.

All u can eat. Food is excellent. Room huge. Toilet and bath top. Hotel is huge and has its own smoking area.
