I recently purchased a 2019 Camry XSE from this dealership. Unbelievably pleasant experience. Our salesperson, Joey McCorkle, was wonderful and caring. We drove some distance to come to this dealership because the car I wanted was only available at this dealership. Joey took me for a test drive and afterwards, he offered to show us some numbers without going through the normal "4 square, fill out the credit application" process which has made car buying in the past akin to pulling teeth. The numbers worked both on the new car purchase as well as my trade-in and, we thought, "Let's do it." We will not hesitate to recommmend Simi Valley Toyota to our friends.
I bought the car there and that was a good experience and I have only taken it there for service and they are great. Yesterday I took it in for a recall and they said it would be 2 days to repair and I had my car back by 4 PM the same day. I recommend them as a honest and trust worthy dealer.

Although my service price was high it could have been more. They gave me discounts to bring it down as much as possible, thank you. I was inquiring on a pre-owned vehicle they had for sale. I was given incorrect information due to a mistake one of the managers made. After driving to the dealership and them realizing they made a mistake on the vehicle I wanted, they tried to sell me on a vehicle that I had no interest in. This dealership sucks. I will never do business with this place.
Brought my Prius in because the "engine" light came on. I was given a $129 minimum that could be applied to any potential fix. When I came back to pick up the car, it turns out that I did't have the gas cap tightly closed, which caused the warning. Bad move on my part (didn't want to admit it to the world, here). Then I got the good news: there was no charge!!!! The work was done for me and I definitely deserved to pay the bill, but the folks at Simi Valley Toyota now have a loyal client for life!
As someone who tends to hang onto cars well after the 15 year, 150,000 mile mark, and for whom a car is simply a way to get from point A to point B, I was not looking forward to going through the hassle of purchasing a new car. TrueCar pointed us to DCH Toyota of Simi Valley, and they quoted us a price for a new car that was within $1000 of what we were planning to spend for a used car of the previous year, with 20k miles on it. We therefore thought it was worth the hour drive to see what they had to offer. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop during the whole process, and while there was the obligatory presentation of the various extended bumper to bumper, maintenance, tire and other extended warranties, they accepted whatever decisions we arrived at without pressure. We now have the car we wanted, and they sold it to us at a price that is technically below what they originally quoted. Yes, there were the obligatory credit checks, insurance verifications, releases and other papers to sign, time waiting while they prepared the car, "dealer prep", licensing and other unpleasant fees and chores associated with buying a car. But they made the whole process as painless as possible. Finally, I want to give a special shout out to Brendan, who guided us through the afternoon to a successful conclusion.

Needed to get a safety recall repair done on my 2013 plugin Prius. I called my local dealer (DCH Simi Valley) and was told that safety is their number one concern and could I please bring the car in two weeks from when I placed my call. I was a little surprised at these somewhat contradictory statements (what about my safety during those two weeks?) Still I agreed to the appointment. When I did bring the car in everything went fine and I was well treated by the dealership especially Amanda my contact person.

We were in the market for an affordable new sedan for my 17 year old daughters first vehicle. Costco Auto Buying program referred us to Miller Toyota, Culver City, which is 30 miles from our home, and we had an appt set up with a rep at 2pm yesterday. Our first stop was William L Morris Chevrolet to test drive the Chevy Cruze and Malibu. Jeff Morris was very concerned about my daughters satisfaction with her first car and the fact that we would have to leave in the mid day heat from Simi Valley to Culver City Toyota, when I stated that he had a very good relationship with Nick Dulea, general manager across the street at DCH Toyota of Simi Valley, and that, if we wish, would make a phone call and have Nick and his team take care of us. We agreed to do this at least to see and test drive the Camry and possibly avoid the hassle of driving to Culver City to find the same car. Jeff Morris made the phone call; and we were greeted at DCH Toyota of Simi Valley by general manager, Nick Dulea and rep Tony Fierro, with smiles and handshakes making us feel right at home. After describing basically what my daughter was looking for, Tony swiftly escorted outside to the lot to look for the camry SE 4 dr White exterior with Black Leather interior minus moonroof and navigation. Nick from the very moment we arrived assured us with confidence that the price and auto would meet or exceed our expectations....and he was correct. Once we narrowed down the specific features of the auto; Nick dealer located the exact vehicle at Northridge Toyota; dealer traded the vehicle in the 1 hour timeframe it took us to have lunch and return to dealership. After lunch, Tony returned with the car; had us inspect to make sure it was indeed the exact auto we desired with all included features, meanwhile Nick kept showing us the features and made double and triple sure all features were just as we desired so that he could meet our needs of finding the exact car with the exact features Nikki desired. After verification that the dealer traded Camry was exactly as we desired, the car was sent for detailing and we proceeded with the paperwork process and financial. All the team members were VERY kind and compassionate and congratulatory at every step. Overall, the entire customer experience, which lasted a total of 4 hours, was worth the time effort and persistence and easily among the best we have had (10/10). Nick assured a better than Costco price, delivered on his promise, made us feel at ease without pressure or coercion, and due to the huge savings, we were able to afford some essentials, like LoJack System, Door Guard safety package, protective 3M rear window tint package, AND most importantly, 7 year 75 Mile extended Platinum Care Coverage. One of the salient selling features of this car was the 10 airbag and 5 star safety rating as well as many many years of customer loyalty record sales and the fact that we were recent purchasers of a 2011 Toyota Sienna Minivan. I went to this dealership a few months back and was looking for a used Tacoma. I found one that I liked and decided to test drive it. The test drive went great and when we pulled back into the lot, the salesman said that he had to pull the truck back in, due to regulations. No big deal, but the salesman's attitude was probably the only reason why I didn't purchase this particular Tacoma. The first thing he said when he got into the driver's seat was that he noticed the previous owner left a go pro mount on the truck and that he needed a mount for his car and just ripped it off and put it in his pocket. Then, we drove around the building and the guy was giving it gas and turning the corners like we were in some kind of sports car. I actually saw my wife grab on to the handle above the door when he made one particularly sharp, fast turn. I liked the truck, but seeing how the employees treat the vehicles, I really didn't trust buying a vehicle from this location. Ended up purchasing elsewhere.

I went with my boyfriend to buy his first car on his own and the service and experience was amazing! We went to many other dealerships memorial weekend and DCH toyota blew them all out of the park. Cesar really took the time to listen to what we wanted and show us cars that fit what we wanted not just what he wanted to sell. He was very knowledgeable about the Prius and was able to give us real world answers to our questions. If your buying a car go to CESAR!! Cesar was able to get his boss to price match another dealership so we were able to get the higher model for less than the lower model! He took the time to stay until 1130 at night and show us how everything worked after we finished up with all of the paperwork.
Eddie our finance guy was fantastic and really explained all the different package options and was excellent in taking the time to answer all of our questions! He even gave me advice on my car that I bought last year!

I walked in with the expectation of getting swarmed by car salesmen that we re hoping to make a quick dime off of me (that s any location though). Instead I was greeted by a young gentleman who only seemed interested in ensuring that I was receiving the best customer service. His name was Kareem. I looked for a new car for about a month, and had every kind of experience you can imagine, including another dealership trying to hide an extra $4,000 in the paperwork when trying to buy a new vehicle. We went to DCH Toyota on a whim and met Dean Dixon. He was very laid back, funny and made our whole experience enjoyable. One of the Managers came over while we were talking numbers and we jokingly said the music wasn't to our taste. He immediately walked over to the office and changed it, and when I looked over he gave me a thumbs up and a smile. Dean was very honest and upfront when dealing with us and I never felt pressured. Eddie did our financial paperwork and was also very professional and straightforward. Not once did we feel that we were being scammed or pressured to purchase something. Who knew that buying a car could be an enjoyable experience? If I had run into this type of service all along, I would have had a car a month ago. All the Service Advisors are excellent including Mr. Smith who helped me on my last visit. The waiting room is very clean and comfortable. The prices are comparable with other dealers in the area. They were very fast completing the service on my vehicle in the specified time.

Got an amazing deal. No pressure and extremely knowledgeable sales person Elie. I called ahead and they had the car ready to go. I think in total I was there an hour from walking in to driving off in my new car. Finance which I usually dread was finished in under 10 minutes no pushy sales tactics or shaming. Three weeks later no regrets or second guessing. They took good care of me and I love the car.

DCH did the 5,000 mile check up but would not change the oil . I know it's 10,000 miles for oil changes but I feel it's a great idea to get the break in oil which is synthetic still changed at 5,000 miles.
Edward in the service department was great and took care of me start to finish. Also I work in Moorpark and Toyota of Simi came out and picked me up during lunch time to pick up my vehicle. The service was excellent!!

Unbelievable how I was taken advantage of. Make sure you check other Toyota dealerships before going through Simi Valley. Added thousands of dollars of unnecessary fees to my estimate. Finance manager will absolutely get as much money out of you as possible. Told them ahead of time what I could afford, kept me there for 2 hours and offered me a payment double what I told them I could afford.

I went back to the dealership this past weekend because the issue with my breaks continued. I was assisted by Fred Chase who went above and beyond not only to hear my concerns but to promptly resolve the issue. He was very understanding of my frustrations and seemed to genuinely care about issue. I am very thankful for the changes being made at this service department under Fred's leadership.
I have purchased two cars from this dealership and since I lived in Simi valley for over 15 years I wanted to support a local business. I have been coming from West hills to get services done on my car due to loyalty to the city and dealership. The service has never been beyond average but my last experience here has me very upset. I paid over $600 in back break services and had to leave the car Sat-Monday because they didn't have the parts in stock and said could not provide a loaner car for the weekend. Two months later I take my car somewhere else for front breaks and my car is still making a noice. Upon inspection I learned I was missing a hardware kit and the breaks were resurfaced and not new (which I paid for). Called the service department and left multiple messages and the service manager never called me back. This is poor business ethics and horrible customer service.

The service department is friendly and will get you checked in quickly. Getting your car back is usually a slower process. It can take a few hours just to get your oil changed.
