I made an offer on a vehicle online and was contacted via email. Several emails and serveral text later regarding the vehicle I convinced my husband to go and see about the deal. The person was not available when we got there nor was the manager. I take the blame for being mislead and lied to. Thank you Toyota of McDonough. When running a business INTEGRITY should be one of the most important asset. Integrity was not part of the experience I had today.

I came to trade my truck in end of Feb. I brought a co-signer, they took my truck and my $1600 down payment for me, added me on the contract and then proceeded to put everything fully in the name of the co-signer so now we have no way to register the vehicle being that I live in FL now. I am on the contract, my truck is in their possession now, yet I have no authority to register the vehicle I bought and pay for in my name? How does that even make sense? When my Co-signer went to the dealership to question them, they threw her out.

After spending several hours next door at the Honda place and being unable to make a deal, my mom suggested we pull into the Toyota dealership (which we had avoided because we'd been there months earlier but didn't have a good experience.) So it was just a few minutes before closing and we decided to just drive through. She spotted a car she really liked and jumped out to see it (and it began to rain!) Our salesman, Leon Poole ran out in the rain to greet us and give her a test drive. We discussed a preliminary deal and he said to come back the next day and he would work for us to get a great deal. We went back the next day and got the car. Leon is a professional and he bent over backwards to give us excellent customer service. We had a delay in getting the tag, but with one phone call to him, he had the tag to us the next day! I highly recommend that you work with Leon Poole, at Toyota McDonough, the next time you buy a car.

When I went to this dealership this morning, they supposedly found me a vehicle my credit could buy. First thing I told their manager, was not to waste my time, tell me the truth up front and I would leave if they couldn't help me. 2 1/2 hrs later their finance manager had me sign a paper of what the bank would let me have and the payment amount. My grandson and I sat out side while they were bringing up the car for a test drive and my approval. The finance manager came out and told me they couldn't find the car because it was off getting a safety inspection at Buick. Told me to come back tonight and they would have it there. This man swore to heaven he was not playing games with me. came back at 7:30 pm and waited 20 mins. and was told I needed more proof of income or a co-signer, and even tried to convince me to let my grandson sign. Why could they not have told me the truth before I left there earlier, I was honest with them. Why do these people think it's a good thing to waste people's time, playing games. It was my grandsons only day off this week and he was there to drive my other car home. Glad he didn't just drop me there.

Don't be tricked by the flyers you get in the mail. I scratched the flyer and it showed an iPad so I went to claim an iPad but they brought me back to this board with codes that match with the prizes you can win. I was matched with a 1$ lottery scratch off, even though it had an iPad symbol under the scratch. It's just a trick, Don't waste your gas.

My sales person attempted to sell me an extremely overpriced car in what I would view as an attempt to take advantage of me seeing I was young and refused to take a loan out. After expressing my dislike toward debt and that I was looking for something very cheap around $8,000 (all it would have taken was one trip to the bank to withdraw) he continued to push me into financing a car or spending more money. I am the customer telling you what I want, not the other way around. I'm not trying to sound entitled but this is unacceptable.

Not happy after my visit to this location! I came to look at a used truck listed online for 16,795 i think it was. A 09 chevy with close to 109,000 miles. I checked the truck out. Found a few things that needed to be fixes nothing major. In all I liked the truck. After a test drive I decided to see what kind of deal could be made. I informed the salesman that I already had a pre-approval but my credit got ran anyway.It took about 2 hours for the deal to come out. While waiting I was informed that a salesman had been sitting on the truck holding for a buddy coming at one o'clock to see the truck. The deal finaly came out and was horrible. First the truck price was 200.00 higher than the online price. They added 2500.00 of warranty I didn't ask for. 1,995.00 for (wax,mats,etc). I was told it was for color match wax, (been around cars a long time never heard of that before) floor mats, which the truck had none. Then of course the taxes and fees. Now this truck was almost 26,000 dollars. Heck it didn't even have center caps! They then tried to push me on a 2014 or 2015 truck and 72 to 75 month financing. No I was there to look at the 09 with 48 month financing. So this is the only two conclusions I have come up with. (1) the deal was made so bad so I would walk away saving the truck for the salesman's buddy. Or (2) It was a bait truck to get people in and then try to sale them a new more expensive vehicle. Either way I don't feel I was treated fairly at this dealership!

I took my 2011 Toyota Sienna to have 4 recalls fix...

I took my 2011 Toyota Sienna to have 4 recalls fixed. Upon picking up my van after the work was done my trunk would not close properly causing the van to think the trunk was open and a constant dinging sound as i would drive.
I brought this to the attention of the shop manager and they claimed the van had been in an accident and it was a pre existing problem. The van would need to be brought to a body shop and have them align the trunk back up.
They would be happy to look at the van again and diagnose the problem for $130.00.
I brought the van home and upon closer examination discovered that the seal around the trunk was not placed back in correctly. Also, the bumper was pushed out an 1/8 inch at the location of the drivers side back tail light. Upon loosening the screws and taking a closer look the wiring harness for the drivers side back tail light was lodged between the bumper and the van causing the bumper to be miss aligned and not allowing the trunk to close properly. After pushing the harness out of the way the trunk closed properly.
The shop manager lied straight to me claiming that they had not touched any area around the trunk.
IF YOU TAKE YOUR CAR THERE FOR REPAIRS AND MYSTERIOUS PROBLEMS ARISE. DO NOT TRUST THEM. They will lie to cover their mistakes. Their shop is exactly why mechanics can have a bad reputation when it comes to honesty.

Just bought a 2018 4-Runner at Toyota of McDonough and absolutely love it. This is the second vehicle I have purchased from this dealership and I will continue to purchase my future vehicles from them. My salesperson Hayden Frier was phenomenal and made the process very easy and the general manager Jon Waters was a pleasure to work with as well. I would highly recommend purchasing your next vehicle from Toyota of McDonough.

Took my Camry in due to a power steering fluid leak. When first walking in the service department, no one greeted me and I had no idea where to go for help. A few employees were sitting at desks, 1 on the phone, 1 with a customer and a few others just talking to each other. Finally someone asked me if I needed help then told me one of the other guys would help me. A few minutes later one of the other guys helped me, not to friendly but not rude either. He got my info in the system and I left. Got the call the next day around noon that I just needed a fitting replaced, warranty won't cover it and it's $300 for them to do it. Called around and got it priced at less than $100 some where else. Called them back and advised I'd be picking up my car and for them not to do any repairs. I was then told I owed them $80 just for looking at it. This surprised me seeing as most places provide free estimates these days, not to mention they price gouge the folks that do get repairs done there so badly you'd think they make enough money there! I will NOT be back.

I get my Prius serviced regularly here. They charge dealer prices, but there are always coupons and deals to use, and the service is worth a bit extra. The facility is pleasant and clean, and the associates are respectful and helpful, offering no high pressure upsell. I'll use them until my Prius dies, which might be a long while!

Anthony Piatt, best sales rep I've ever come across, literally showed up with a 04 Camry that blew its radiator blowing smoke as i drove the car with the engine off and in neutral to the front. standing there Mr. Piatt helped me out with a low down payment that i could afford, with low monthly payment. came in with a problem and the Toyota of mcdonough not only helped me out but also my mother with her 2016 sienna that she loves now. now i'm happy with a 2010 corolla, thanks Toyota.

I always receive good customer service when I meet with the people I have an appointment with. The waiting room is big and usually clean. The only reason I couldn't give 5 stars is because the ladies at the checkout desk are never really nice. I won't say they are rude, but it almost always seems like they are having a bad day and don't want to be interacting with me when I check out. *shrugs*

In particular, Michael Smith, the sales associate I worked with facilitated all my questions and helped me negotiate a great deal with the sales manager/team on a used vehicle. Nowadays it seems more and more online Auto Dealerships are illegally advertising vehicles to lure customers into their dealership.

Understand I'm not the typical person to ever write reviews so for me to write a review of my customer experience I hope to save other buyer's from such illegal practices.

Yesterday I contacted Toyota of Mcdonough to purchase a vehicle which they listed on Autotrader. A sales rep in the name of Tierra assisted me. She assured me that my customer experience would be one of the BEST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCES I've ever experienced.

Brief background:

Vehicle of Interest: USED 2010 BMW X5 xDrive48i

My credit score is a 720+ with a $15k credit card which I only use id for emergencies.

I advised the sale rep Tierra I was not interested in placing a down payment on the vehicle. She agreed that a downpayment should not be required based on my credit score. Although I knew she could not obviously make such a decision if whether or not a down payment would be required I had confidence they're financing department would find a lender of their choice in the event they did not accept my provided lenders approval voucher of $18k., I submitted an online application with their dealership.

Fast forward three hours later and no response received from the original sales rep Tierra. Finally I decided to call and find out the approval status. After waiting 45 minutes on hold and transferred 17 times to the incorrect person(s), I pleaded with one of the sales reps to please walk over to Tierrra's desk to see if she was available. I was finally informed that she was out of the office.

Immediately I asked to speak with the GM, but the GM was also unavailable. After being transferred back to the dealerships phone receptionist she recommended a sales rep in the name of Jeremy. Jeremy was the highlight of the deal. He instantly informed me that I was approved by one of the dealerships lenders; however's; I would need to submit a downpayment of $3k due to the vehicles year/ high mileage. At this time it was later in the evening and the dealership was schedule to close in a couple hours. I later called back before they closed, left Jeremy a voicemail to call me first thing in the morning.

Today (August 30, 2017), at 12pm noon I noticed that I had not been contacted so I called the dealership to follow-up. Jeremy was unavailable, so I was transferred to a representative in the name of Judy Mom. I informed Judy that I would like to purchase the vehicle by paying the downpayment of $3k and financing the difference. Judy asked to call me back after speaking with her manager. Upon calling me back she informed me that the vehicle has a hydraulic suspension issue. I said no problem I still would like to purchase the vehicle. She placed me on hold and minutes later informed me that "oh by the way the vehicle is scheduled to be sold to a wholesale buyer on tomorrow's." I'm a Florida boy and I live 4 hours away I will pay you $1500 downpayment right now to hold the vehicle. She replied "no" per her manager.

At this point I became utterly disturb and even stated to Judy how do I know you're telling me the truth? I explained to her that I've spent numerous hours on the telephone conversing with you all about a vehicle in your inventory that you all swore had no prior issues and now suddenly this same vehicle will be sold tomorrow's? I asked what type of bait and switch business are you folks operating? Why isn't my first come first serve customer interest and experience being protected?

Lastly, I spoke with Judy's manager, Joe. I explained the entire situation to him. I said I'll come there now before you close to buy the vehicle today with my $15k credit card which shows on my credit report, the funds are readily available as you can see. Joe immediately said no don't come here the vehicle is prepared to be purchased by a wholesaler tomorrow.

I didn't purchase a car but was with my mother when she purchased her new 2019 Highlander. I must say that Mr. Leon Poole is an absolutely amazing salesman and treats you like part of the family. I have seen many different car buying experiences good and bad and this was by far the best ever, such a blessing! Mr. Leon is straight up with you, no just being about the pitch, and not with the bs. He makes sure you receive excellent quality customer service from start to finish, he knows what he's doing and will get the job done. Also the fastest I've ever seen a car get sold compared to past experiences of it taking up to 5 hours. I am definitely going to recommend him to my family and friends!

Has to have been one of my best experiences purchasing a vehicle. I located the vehicle i was interested in via online a Chrysler, set a date to test drive and come in to see sales guy Aaron. From start to finish he provided excellent customer service I knew within 15minutes of my visit that I was approved for the vehicle, test drove it and loved it; no drawn out process. The other staff members were just as personable and also made us feel comfortable. Definitely recommend this company, go see Aaron!

Last week I was so excited about getting my first new car. Sales person Leon Poole was more than great, he is wonderful with people and his professionalism was on point. He cares, unfortunately I can't say the same about the management team. I was so happy driving away with my new car until I heard a noise coming from the the front tire after 2 days driving. I took it back and it was a strout problem where they had to change not only the strout but 2 other major parts. I definitely didn't feel comfortable buying the same car. I asked them to change it, they agreed when we showed up the next day to fill out paper work, it was all a different story, the manager was there the day I was negotiating the price couldn't even bother to come and talk to us, rather he sent two bullies with attitude to deal with us. Acting like we got you, we are not giving you another car and there is nothing you can do about it. Forgetting that the day before we were told that they will give us another car.The customer relations Manager Sandra Linker just put her card on our table and just walked away from us like we were nothing. So rude and unprofessional she has no customer service skills and should not be on that position.I guess after the sale the customer doesn't deserve any courtesy of at least 5 mns conversation, but will spend hours to get you to buy. Toyota McDonough left a really bad taste in my mouth, I really regret not going next door. Before you purchase a new car better ve aware of the Lemon law in GA, read your paper thoroughly before signing and don't trust everything they say. I could have accepted the fact I wasn't going to get another car, but the way the situation was handle was poor and unprofessional.

I like this location much better than the Southlake one. The service department is by far one of the best in South Atlanta. I can't say enough great things about them. I would suggest they have more than one cashier in the service department. When it was time for me to checkout, my cashier was gone for at least 10 minutes and I started to become irritated by that.

As for the buying experience, I haven't purchased at car there although I have heard from quite a few people that the car buying experience is frustrating. The salesmen play games and try to drag things out. Once when my husband I came to visit to buy a car, the salesmen literally called every single day for a month after I explained we were just doing research.

Needless to say we ended up purchasing from another location. Overall great place but I think the salesmen can use some training.

I have purchased several cars in my life time and this by far was the worse experience ever. The management team made the experience terrible by providing wrong information and attempting to give a higher interest rate. As someone who is in the financial services business, they attempted to provide wrong information and were upset when challenged for their misinformation. This could have been a lot better experience if the finance manager was brought into the picture during the time that the sales managers were trying to increase their interest rate kickbacks or just being misinformed of the financing products available. Only reason, I purchased the car was from this dealership was due to the great attitude of the sales associate and my ability to negotiate. I wonder how these sales managers are taking advantage of those who are less informed on financial matters. I am now concerned about taking my car back for the service that's included in the warranty.

We were told the work would take 2-3 days after waiting 4 weeks for the parts to be ordered. It took almost 2 weeks to fix our car! They recommended some extra work be done and gave us one price but when we went to pick it up it was 75% more. After complaining, they did give us a little break which is why I'm giving them 2 stars instead of 1 star. We'll be going to another dealership or mechanic in the future.

Watch out for these guys, you think you are getting a great price, but then mark ups on the sheet for Dealer Use Only, they hide the mark ups, like over 1100.00 for paint protection, 300.00 for floor mats, 400.00 for window tint, plus one of the highest doc fees around 800.00, You won't get a copy of the Dealer use only sheet, make sure you study it good sales manager brings it out, they will draw your attention to the big discount, you focus on that , and you don't see them hit you with all the additions to the sale price, you end up paying almost full sticker. Paint protection, and slush mats were listed on my window sticker as well. Study that for "Dealer Use Only Sheet" Better yet find a dealer that doesn't use one.
