WROST CUSTOMER SERVICE**** I have ever experienced. On yesterday, I called the service department and spoke to a service person named Amanda Cambron (she has only been employed 6 months) I told her that I had ran over a curb and flatten 2 tires.and Im having to get my car towed. I specifically asked her were the tires covered because I had Road Hazard and had purchased the tires there. She says "Yes" and then she states ..Let me make sure we have your size tire" ..after a short delay, She then stated .." Yes , we have your size ..I then let her know I was having to tow my car from Stockbridge..and I should be there shortly..She responds.."Great". I finally arrive at the dealership about 20 mins before closing. She greets me at the door. This is when everything goes down hill..Amanda didnt know what type of Road Hazard I had , she was asking others about whether it was In House thru Toyota or if it was some other company, that was closed by 230pm. She finally decides that probably I have In House Road Hazard ..and I will have to pay 50% of purchase of new tires, which came up to almost $200.00. So imagine how it feels to be mislead, and not being completely informed.None of this was told to me over the phone!!! She appeared unbothered. I became very upset,so, I requested to speak to John Walters.(the GM).He was worst then her, This guy was unprofessional, very arrogant, and condescending. He didnt care about me as a customer, He never apologized for the lack of information given, he didnt care about any of my concerns. He suggested I was looking for a hand out.. He stated"Why do you think we are just gonna give you tires for free? " I couldnt believe my ears. His statement sounded bias and racially motivated.He told me to leave , HIS dealership and they dont want my business. He was unprofessional with his gestures and body language, like he was tired of me complaining and just wanted me out. He even waved me off and stated "Get Out" ...I couldn't believe what I was seeing considering I had purchased my car at this dealership almost 2 years ago, and I even referred them to my coworker who purchased a car as well. I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone until they change their leadership. Toyota's are great cars ...this Dealership just gives them a bad name. I have filed a complaint with BBB. I intend to post my complaint every week to ensure any prospective customer will know what they are dealing with if they visit Toyota of McDonough.
