Don t buy a car from here. They do not care about selling you a vehicle. Your just a number to them. They are not welling to work with you. The sales team leader wouldn t let you get a word in and talks to people like they do t know basic math. I went 2 hours north of here to buy my 4 runner, the same exact 4 runner for 4,200 dollars less then this place. I bought a 4x4 predator xp.

They are scammers and a prime example of why people don't trust or like car dealerships. I came in after negotiating for a 2018 Prius with Tierra in finance for $19,300 and explained to my sales rep, Ashley and the manager "MJ" this was the price I came in to pay. They pretended like they understood then got on the phone with the bank and came back to bring me paper work for $28K. When I asked why it was not the agreed upon price Ashley stated she didn't know anything about that and brought her manager MJ over to discuss it with me further. He stated that he had no documentation from Tierra for that price and that he had texted her and emailed her about the situation because she had left the office which wasn't true because she was just in his office less than 5 minutes prior to him coming over to speak with us. He just kept stating that they couldn't do that price because then they wouldn't be able to profit and didn't try to assist me in any way. They refused to be true to their word and wasted my time by having me come down to the dealership. If you have to get a new Toyota I recommend going an extra distance and taking your business to the Toyota dealership in Lithonia.

My experience at Toyota of McDonough was amazing, everyone was attentive and engaging. I missed my first appointment at 7am and to my surprise I was greeted with solutions instead of problems and was able to still get in at 10:30. The service representative was helpful and throughly explained my warranty coverage and plan to me which solidified my trust that I had done the right thing in purchasing a reliable vehicle. While I waited for my car, I took a look at the other models on th floor. I had an amazing conversation with Robert Scott. He was a breath of fresh air. I didn t feel pressured to buy anything, he was informative and personable. My next purchase will be with him! Thank you Toyota if McDonough!

DECEPTIVE. DECEPTIVE. DECEPTIVE. These people will ruin your life if it means you driving off the lot with a car. Firstly, I am a first time car buyer, only shopping around, and this was the FIRST dealership I went to. (WRONG DECISION NUMBER 1). I went in there with a strong budget, not wanting a note over $400/month. However they told me it was only one car I could get there, a brand new 2018 Corolla in a bright red color that I never even picked out. Once they targeted this car they would stop at nothing to get me in that and only that. I wanted a used car, they said it was no way I could get any other car or color without my note going up. Mind you, the note was set to be $680 and there is no way I am paying that much for a car that I don't even like or want. I talked to 4 different salesman explaining why I did not want the car and I was detained for 3 hours basically telling them it is no way I can get this car. I was told. I would be worthless in GA without a car. They even waited until the last few No's to send out an African American to "relate" to me after talking to 4 other caucasian people and that was the worst thing they could have ever done. He made it seem like he was the head boss, which I easily confirmed he was not. Not only did this man not listen or care about anything I was saying, he told me I wasted all their time and that I basically need to pay the original salesman for his time. Now you will not guilt trip or make me feel like trash to get me into a car. I honestly only spent about 30-45 minutes of actual face to face conversation, all the other time was them going back and huddling up and thinking of the next scheme they are hitting me with. When I test drove the first car (that I didn't get to pick out) this man had me walking in circles in the cold because he didn't know where it was at, and when we found the car next to the dumpster, he didn't even know how to back it out, I honestly had to look away because I was scared he would hit something. The last and biggest thing that killed me is that after all those hours of stagnancy, they wait until the last minute to all of a sudden find the perfect car, a souped up Camry, way better than the original car, in a better car, and in my rice range. At that point it is an absolute no. They are so deceptive and you will not finesse me into getting into a contract with a team of liars, and I pray that none of you all will make that fatal decision ever. DONT GO HERE. DONT BELIEVE ANYTHING THEY SAY. WATCH CAR DOGS ON NETFLIX THEY USE EVERY TRICK FROM THE BOOK.

Now when it comes to your service department it very disappointing, I made a 12:30 appointment for a oil change and a tire rotation and because I was having a problem with the air pressure on one of my tires, I asked them to check it as well. I'm here on time, at 3:30 I have to go to the heavy set guy in the service dept. Who by the way has to be the laziest person in the building. To get a updated on my vehicle. Of course he try to explain to me that it takes about 3-4 hours for what needs to be done to my car. Which I know is not correct, I have came without a appointment and was out under 2 hours. But what got me was the fact that instead of the Service Rep come out and talk to me like the other reps, he's calling and sending text messages about my vehicle not explaining nothing that's going on. For 2 years I tried trading in my 2014 Corolla in North Carolina. However, no dealer would accept my trade in due to multiple names being on the title. A power of attorney form would have solved this problem if the other title holder was willing to sign the paperwork. Since that wasn't possible, I contacted Leon Poole and he not only resolved my problem, but put me in a 2019 Corolla! I am forever grateful! Thank You!!!!

Ken Black the Service Advisor & Gary Coley provided very good service: their friendliness, niceness, & helpfulness. The parts guy was also very friendly, nice & helpful. Have been using Toyota of McDonough since I moved here in 1999. Have always had the work done in a professional manner. The personnel in the service department and the cashier's desk have also been great to work with and very personable. They even look at more than what I point out when I am having a service performed which is nice. Though other's may offer lower prices and profess quicker time around times, I find that coming here and using technicians who use authorized parts and know how Toyota puts cars together are a big PLUS in my book.

For the last 10 years, i have bought at least 5 cars at this dealership. God knows, Im not rich by any means its just that Salesman Greg Knight always works out great upgrades every single time. Because of him & the atmosphere there I will always do my business only at this dealership. As far as the service dept., i never make appointments-I come whenever i need to and am always out of there no more than 2 hours! How awesome is that. Besides theres free coffee & donuts while i wait. AND you can watch the work being done on your car with the tv monitors! I have never in my entire life been so mistreated and have had to deal with the unprofessionalism of this dealership. Salesman Jeremy Richardson and sales manager James "mj" Allen have been the most worst during this situation. My son bought a car 2 weeks ago, 3 days later the transmission began going out. They came up with a solution to switch cars for my son, during this ordeal, MJ presented us with cars available . 45 mins of waiting in the lobby for them to find the keys to the car "available", they come to us stating the car was sold this morning . But a Sentra was available, we test drive and decided to go ahead with the Sentra, they need documents from my son as far as pay and so forth, was told he was approved and for him to come in when he came back from his trip to sign. When my son came back , went to the dealership to sign, was told by MJ and Jeremy that he need a co signer bcuz even though his credit score is good, he just don't have enough credit. My response was that we was told he was approved last week. Well, it was a discrepancy and we didn't know this and that... so I'm furious bcuz everything was a fine deal last week!... now they are sending my son to delta community credit union to get a 6k dollar loan, after we was told that they would transfer the money paid for the car would go to the Sentra which was 5k$. And the Sentra was 7700 , so what would he need 6k loan, when I was ready to pay the remainder for the Sentra for him. Mj going back and forth with me in a very nasty way and in a nasty demeanor and said u know what, I'm not gonna go back and forth with a customer, I told him my husband wanted to consult with a lawyer, he states well since u threatening then u can just go ahead and take ur car to get transmission fixed. My son had only had the car for 3 days and they refuse to help us. My son worked and saved up all his money to buy a dependable car due to the fact that he wanted something reliable bcuz we do not have family here so he didn't want an unreliable car to break down on him bcuz he would have anyone to help him if he is on side of the road! We were basically dismissed in a very very very nasty way. They didn't even want to tell us what was really wrong with the car when they put it in the service area, they kept beating around the bush on that, they knew it was no good. Then they won't even tell us the cash price for the Sentra ... he just kept telling me 6,000 out the door.. I'm not sure if it's 6k total or an additional 6k with whatever that was going to be switched over from the first car into the Sentra... up til now I don't have a cash price. Never in my life have I dealt with something like this and I'm completely shocked that it would be from a huge dealership such as Toyota... will never ever deal with them nor refer anyone to buy there ....BEWARE, KEEP YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEPLACE ELSE!

This place has been one disappointment after another. We had issues with our salesman lying to my face about who would be the primary owner of our car and who would be the co-signer and as a result the bills are sent to the wrong address. We were told that we would receive two keys with our vehicle because it was a certified pre-owned vehicle. It took months of calling and being transferred around, dismissed and ignored until I threatened legal action before anything was done. Then for lack of better judgement we decided to try them again to purchase a second car. We wanted a very cheap car- less than $4000 and they told us that they cannot finance a car that cheap- AFTER running our credit and leaving a hard inquiry just so that they could push a more expensive car on is that we told them countless times we weren't interested in. After telling them for about the fifth time that we weren't interested they said "well just come see it". We told them no again and that once again, we aren't interested. Then the sales manager just said "show it to them". And walked away. Needless to say this will probably be the last time we are seen at Toyota of McDonough.

This Toyota dealer does NOT have any integrity in what they promised. I am hugely upset with how they treated me. This is my experience:

Monday morning I received a call from them regarding a quote for 2012 Toyota Sienna. They told me because it's the end of the month, they were willing to lose money on this car, so if I go there right now, i would make the deal without any more negotiating. This dealer is more than an hour away from me, so I specifically confirmed with them again about the deal, year, and the model of the Sienna. I also told them I don't want to negotiate anymore.

After driving for more than an hour, I spoke with the manager that I've been dealing with, his name is Jason Tootle. He said to wait for a moment while they try to locate the car.

Half an hour later, they came to me saying they thought the deal is for 2011 Sienna, which I know there's a $1000 rebate for it, and they won't honor the previous agreed price for 2012 Sienna over the phone. I am so upset, and after saying NO to their offer, everyone in the dealership tried to avoid me. Jason Tootle, the Internet Sales Director, kept talking over the phone, and won't say anything to me. NOT EVEN AN EMAIL, OR PHONE CALL after that. What a disgrace, they don't have any integrity in what they said. I won't trust anything this dealer says from that point.

JASON TOOTLE, do you know that my wife is pregnant, and I had to drive almost 3 hours back and forth your dealer?????? You didn't even dare to talk to me after you messed up yourselves.

I finally realized that Sandy Springs Toyota is the best Toyota dealership in Atlanta area.

UPDATE 11/11/11: I noticed that a day after my review, there's another 5 star review on this dealership and highlighted an excellent service by Jason. Hmm i wonder what's going on ... I am a real customer and people can contact me if they want to confirm what I say is true.

Charles Strawn was the most professional, knowledgeable and insightful representative in my opinion so far. I will definitely be using Toyota McDonough again well into the future.

I had been to look at cars there before because the service was highly recommended but I live a few hours away in North Carolina..I had tried looking around at other dealerships closer to where I live, including the Toyota Scion of Asheville and after horrible service there decided I would buy a car from McDonough no matter the distance. I do not regret it! Brian S. was especially helpful and went way out of his way to make sure I not only got the perfect car for me, but he worked really hard to find the best finance options as well. He called me whenever a used scion tC came on the lot and would compare all my options to find the best deal. He truly has an interest in making sure you're happy rather than "just making a deal," I highly recommend buying a car from here and especially from Brian S!
