Quick, easy, and very professional. Phenomenal treatment from start to finish, my sales person's name was Jose Alvarado. He knew how to cater to our needs and didn't come on as your run-of-the-mill pushy salesman. He truly cares about what you're looking for. Not once did I feel like I was being pushed in One Direction or another and I know that Jose tried his hardest to get me the best deal possible. We walked out with an immaculate 2013 Toyota Highlander fully loaded with leather seats, navigation, sunroof, rear-view camera, Bluetooth, heated seats and more! Best of all we didn't have to break the bank. I highly recommend Toyota of Hackensack and most of all I recommend Jose Alvarado. He'll get the job done, treat you like family, all the while doing it with a smile on his face.

I bought 6 vehicle from this dealership within 2 years.
Mr. Mario is an awesome guy.
Always try to make the deal easy.
And finally i am driving the Land Cruiser.
Only now i am having an issue with there service department. Toyota service department have a bad customer service on all toyota dealerships. They dont give you loaner whether you have to go to college or to work. I recently installed remote starter in my 2018 camry( bought from same place).
Remember its a brand new vehicle with only 6k miles.
As soon as i drove out from the dealership.
Something wrong happen the car does not start again.
I contacted the dealership they said its not our fault. Tow it and bring it back. I asked about loaner he said oh no we dont have it.
After 5 hours waiting on the highway i get the tow and came back home on taxi.
Next day i contacted the dealership for my car or loaner. They said we dont have loaner and your car is not ready yet.
So now i am trying to make an appointment for my land cruiser for 5000 miles maintenance and there is a recall on that too and some allignment issue since the first day i bought this SUV.
And they are not giving me the appointment because i need a loaner.
And i live in upstate NY. I need a loaner to go to work next day.
So please whenever you buy a toyota make sure dont forget to ask before sign the paper work about there service department and how they gonna treat you after buying the car.

I was on my way to go skiing at Mountain Creek, when my tire pressure was suddenly VERY low. I couldn't bring my air pressure up at the gas station, and showed up to the Hackensack Toyota on a Sunday afternoon, just before they were closing. They fixed my tire, and had me on my way to my ski day in less than an hour! No new tires! Everyone was exceptionally friendly and very, very helpful. Thank you!!!!!

I just picked up my car after service. I left it for the weekend. Car was beautifully clean and everything checked out well. However, when then cleaned my car they removed my drivers vinyl mat and on the passengers side was the paper dirty mat and paperwork from another customers car service.

Jay Rim from Toyota Hackensack helped me get a lease for 2017 RAV4. He communicated with me over the phone throughout the day to setup the credit application and the insurance. I came to the dealership in the evening to pickup the car and within an hour I was out with my new car. Jay was truly exceptional, professional an courteous.

I give Toyota Hackensack only 4 stars, because a week before, a different sales person hid a $2000 cashback by Toyota, giving me a quote that was $2000 more then I had to pay.

So far, it was a pleasant bringing the deal on the table. It's hard negotiating a deal from long distance but Mrs. Mary had been responsive through the process. I am hoping to close the deal next week assuming there are no surprises with the deal or with the vehicle. Will post another update after closing.
Update on 2/12: Extremely disappointed with dealership service received at the time of vehicle pick up. Bait and switch!! Paid in full but no urgency from anyone to deliver the title as yet.

I was amused when I was asked to bring it every time when the maintenance lights comes on, which it takes several months. I think this action is not good for any car. I brought my '07 Toyota Camry in for service today and it turned out that it needed some additional unexpected maintenance that required me to leave it there for a couple of hours. My advisor Ron Belotti kindly arranged for me to conveniently get droopped off at home and picked up again when my car was ready. I was extremely satisfied with the service provided by Ron and his team. The professionalism and timely manner exhibited is what makes going to Toyota of Hackensack for services a positive experience :-)

I purchased a used car at Toyota of Hackensack. I am from Massachusetts, but they had the model/year/price I was looking for. The first salesman, Christian Buda was nice to begin with but then when I told him that I wanted to know the terms of the financing before I drove 3.5hrs down there, he got all bent out of shape and rude. I then got passed on to salesman John Perkins. He was just ok. He told be they'd give me $2k for my trade. Low and behold, when I got there, the $2k not so surprisingly turned into $1k. Because I was from out of state, I contacted my insurance agent and got strict instructions on how the legal transfer of insurance/registratiion had to be handled. Well...John Perkins didn't agree with that and sent me on my way without the Title like my Agent had said I MUST leave with. By MA law, I had 7 calendar days to register my new vehicle, but I couldn't, because I DIDN'T HAVE THE TITLE. So, my insurance agent called John Perkins who passed her on to another department. They never called her back. The 10 days had now passed and I was driving around an unregistered, uninsured vehicle. They finally addressed the issue and guess what??? They should have sent me home with the title. In the mean time, we had a terribly windy night here in MA and some of my deck furniture blew off the deck and slammed into my UNINSURED car. Thanks JOHN!!! Now I have to cover the body work repairs myself because Toyota of Hackensack messed up and sent me home with no title. They finally sent the title and a check for sales tax & registration which I had paid at closing. However, their check was $57 short and no one is calling me back about this. Since then, I have called the Pre-Owned Manager Frederick Radulic 5 times and John Perkins once to discuss these issues. No calls back. Oh and don't let me forget to tell you about the sales sticker that lists all the vehicle options and accessories. When I got home, I compared the sicker to the actual car...14, YES 14, options/accessories that were listed onthe sticker that the car was NOT equipped with. I sent John Perkins an email and I got a response of "sorry, we have 3rd party do those window stickers for us". Ever heard of internal review, QA/QC, or standing behind your product??? Still waiting for my calls back.....AND my $57.

Super friendly and efficient! My car pulled up exactly as I did at the end of the day. They also have a shuttle that runs to local places of employment, so it s perfect if you work at the hospital. Toyota of Hackensack is my spot for service!!

After 3 months, I am still mad at this dealership. They submitted my credit to 4-6 different banks with DIFFERENT incomes I believe, without me knowing. I only asked to check for Highlander, but they checked it 4-6 different times, this action of theirs without my consent destroyed my chance of getting highlander and RAV4 2017 with 0% apr. Also this gave impression to TOYOTA that I went to 6 different dealerships, so they didn't want to deal with me. After all this submitting Toyota of Hackensack offered me RAV4 with 25% APR, which initially was 0% for me, then I came to Star Toyota in Bayside, they got me RAV4 half the apr, and said that if my credit wasn't submitted 4-6 times, I could've easily gotten RAV4 2017 with 0% apr. it's been 3 months still I receive letters from banks proving that they submitted 6 times, here one of the latest letters. I must've received letters from every bank u can think of.
I mean they knew if they submit my credit 4-6 times they'd make it harder and higher apr for me, so where is the help? I got no respect for them, sorry not sorry.

I went to Toyota in Hackensack to purchase my Yaris. I had a good experience with the purchase, and I recently went back to them after going to another Toyota dealership. I had called and spoke to Joseph Latino on the phone I voiced my concerns about my car and that the other Toyota dealership I had gone to had been very unhelpful. He told me to make an appointment to bring the car in and I was happy that I could bring the car in on a Sunday as I do not live close to Hackensack. When I got there Joseph gave me a loaner car while they checked my car out. After my car was thoroughly checked out, I received a call to come and pick up the car the car. I was very pleased with the experience. The level of customer service from Joseph was great! The rest of the staff there did a great job too!

They brought me into the finance department and distracted me with the salesperson. I signed a blank piece of paper with two lines on it and forget what they said it was and had it pasted onto the contract and added $800.00 total in fees and and a $1500.00 extended warrantee I didn't even want. They gave me the contract in a large back envelop and send me on my way. Never explained anything; which I requested. I've tried to contact Alex my finance officer but he doesn't return my voicemails. I cancelled by extended warranty from Toyota but was told I have to get a refund from Toyota. Right. Still trying to get a response from Toyota of Hackensack. It's a pain to spend time trying to fight for something you never authorized and were frauded into getting. I quess certain auto dealerships see a sucker when one comes in but in my business you have to be honest. I have learned to walk out now if I don't get what I asked for and everything clearly stated not assumed. I will read everything and definitely don't sign an electronic pad, they will put your signature on things you don't even know. Good luck with the GO To Guys. I am having a Toyota CAR from last 5 years. Every time I have done my servicing at Toyota. This was the first time i did it in Hackensack Toyota. they are really unprofessional. They don't know the value of a customer. And Also I am surprised how can they give wrong information to the client.
1) They told me my filter needs to be change and they gave me all the estimation. With my surprised when I told that I did this 3 month back in RI Toyota dealer. They checked that in their system and they said they put this wrongly . That was for some one else.
2) My appointment was on 7.20 AM. I just lock my House door came down to garage and handed over the key to them for the service. After 2 hour they gave me the car and I drove straight to my apartment and found that i don't have my Home key which was there in my CAR Key ring. I called them and went to the show room there was a gentleman telling me that i dropped it in some where else or some other day. When as I locked the door in the morning and from my garage I went to the service center directly. When I called next day again to see if they found the key response was not that good. I wish without giving any * I should have post this review.

Went into Toyota for two reasons. One my father wanted to order tires and make an appointment for service on his vehicle and secondly I wanted to purchase a vehicle. My father and I walked in on 11/20/20 ask for information was directed to the parts desk. Rang the bell a young gentle man showed up dark skin maybe 20 yrs of age the most answered all of our questions very friendly and helpful. Then told him that we wanted to make an appointment for service. That s when everything went down hill from there. My father and I walked over to service desk where there was this young Spanish girl with glasses. Said hi told her we wanted to make an appointment she said ok called another person on the phone. The two were chatting with each other laughing a storm the person on the phone would ask the girl to ask my father and I a question receptionist would then ask us a question. It went on for about 15 - 20 minutes. The young woman didn t know what questions to ask the person on the phone is asking the receptionist more questions to ask. We found ourselves repeating ourselves over and over. That my father and I got frustrated walked out without making an appointment and drove to pep boys down the street and was in an out in ten minutes. Armando was amazing! I totally recommend Toyota of Hackensack and you must see Armando. He hooked me up on my trade in and my purchase. The dealership itself is professional and accommodating. They really care about their customers. Closing the loan was quick and easy. I went to other Toyota dealers and Hackensack gave me the best trade in value and their prices are reasonable and competitive. I am so excited about my new Rav 4 and I gained a new friend as well. :)

Went in for an oil change and a "quick" inspection, and was asked by the site when I made the appointment if I wanted a car wash. I was also asked by the front desk receptionist and the person who processed me. I was there for more than 2 hours. When I came out to see my car, it was still filthy. A lot of things in my car were moved, buttons switched, etc. It makes me question the level of care that was done for my car, and if the inspection will keep me safe. I probably won't be back to this location.

So I came with my dad to this toyota to change from honda to a toyota. We waited for about 20 to 30mins and no one cane to us to ask us if we needed anything. I then decided to approach them myself just incase they thought I was window shopping. They then said let me see if I can find someone for you. They got us a salesman name Jonathan. He got us the car and brought us outside to see it and then he started telling us how much it would be. We told him we know we could go lower and he just knocked us down completely. He did not even try to get us to get the car. We then said no thank you and left. As soon as he parked the car he showed us he drove off in his. I couldn t believe it. He just wanted to go home. And he didnt even bring us inside to talk or anything. We did come late around 7:30 but it would have been better to tell us to cone back tomorrow. I have never experienced anything like this before and my family only does leases. Me personally i have done so many with Honda and never had this problem. I know its not all the people that work here but Jonathan just ruined it for me for his location.

This dealership has also gone to bat for me with the manufacturer. Toyota refused to fully warrantee a part+labor and my service associate said "That's just wrong. We'll cover it." This is exactly the way a business builds customer loyalty>

I decided to take a different car for a test drive. Miguel was my representative, and he told me that I need to fill out a credit report form before taking a test drive. Got my car the end of June 2020, I think they are above average, not a easy time to do sales and interact with people face to face, but they are definitely better than some Toyota dealership who try to kidnap your mind before you go, at least I didn't feel being pressured to buy stuffs that I don't really need, in fact I have great chat with the finance manager, great guy, they are more like 4.5 stars, but they definitely need a receiptionist.

They made me walk out of their business with a 2017 Camry with a non-existent loan approval to tell me a week later that I didn't get approved and to pls bring back the car. Their financial staff who assisted me named Julian is a total incompetent jerk, rude, and has no customer service skills. Beware he is there only to add unnecessary expenses to your car loan to increase your monthly payments and he only offers super sky rocket credit percentage. Before you sign your new car loan agreement read it carefully and demand to be taken off unecessary add ons services that are OPTIONAL and you are not abligated to buy.

Absolutely do not go to salesman Mr. Jose Alvarez. My father was trading in his older vehicle that may cause us problems for a newer better car that won t cause problems too soon. He IS Absolutely unprofessional, harrassed for the down payment money how much it was I had in my pocket and the title of the trade in car that was also in my pocket. NEVER disclosed of the damages the used car my father was purchasing, never did a tour of the details of the car, no manual tried to give him a 2010 rav4 manual mind you my father was taking a 2010 4runner. Promised to get the broken driver side rear view mirror fixed for my father then said NO and accused my father of trying to put in the damage of the driver side cushion (that was not disclosed at time of purchase) under there noses to get it fixed. Mr Alvarez is NOT a man of his word, absolutely unprofessional absolutely does NOT look after the benefit of customers but after his own pocket. Oh and let me not forget that after not doing Anything for the benefit of my father s purchase of the car he Asked my father to give him money, to give him a tip.
So we basically traded in a older perfectly good vehicle to avoid any upcoming problems, for a newer vehicle that with only 1 week of usage has already caused us a great migraine and will cost $$$ to fix damages it had already that were not disclosed. She contacted me almost immediately. Throughout the morning we discussed my purchasing options, and by 5pm I was in the store signing the paperwork. Wish every car I bought was this easy.

I was in on Saturday to get my RAV4's 5000 mile checkup/first service -- the waiting room and the employees were all so pleasant that it made the short time I was there just zip by. I live in Rumson (Monmouth County) and, yes, there are Toyota dealerships closer to where I live, but they just don't compare -- I drive an hour each way to get to Toyota of Hackensack (where I acquired the vehicle) -- this dealership is THAT GOOD!

Almost immediately after meeting Miriam Shanken, our sales associate, we knew we were in the right hands and where we needed to be to buy our next car. What a shame and waste of time. I spent 2 days emailing the dealership to confirm the availability of a vehicle I wanted to test drive (just after memorial day when the covid-19 restrictions were eased) and set up an appointment. Drove to the dealership to be told someone put a deposit on the vehicle I was interested in the day before. But did anyone bother to reach out to me to let me know? Of course not. I'm sure they were hoping they could interest me in another vehicle by getting me there in person. If I didn't live so close by I would have been livid. Total waste of my time.

Overall very positive experience with Toyota employees that worked with us. Waited around way too long. We were there for 7 hours before we drove off in our new car. Some snacks would have helped a lot. A bowl of fruit, bowl of nuts, muffins or something.
