Very unprofessional sales staff. Representative named "Nehal" was very rude and unprofessional. She doesn't have any manner. I visited many dealership and I was not so unwelcomed like that in any other store. No courtesy. She has severe attitude problem. She called me a day after my visit. When I told her that I already bought a vehicle, She just hang up the call..She should be fired.

I had two bad experiences with Toyota of Hackensack.

I looked at a bunch of used cars in person and when it got down to discussing pricing was told each car included a fee they called TLP or total loss protection but is more commonly known as gap insurance. I was paying cash, not financing, so the insurance was pointless. I was told this was non-negotiable. I gave my best price (without TLP), the sales associate went to his manager then came back, handed me a business card and said goodbye. No discussion or counter.

A few weeks later I called up about one of the cars I had seen, which had now been on the lot for 70 days unsold. I asked to speak to a manager but the sales associate wouldn't let that happen. I asked what the best price they could do on the car was - got the typical spiel that their pricing is competitive. I said I could point to a few online cars that were very comparable but priced lower. The sales associate asked me to email the examples, which I did. She said she'd get right back to me but I never heard back. A follow-up email also went unanswered.

All in all, my experience with this dealership was pretty poor though I will say that they have a lot of used inventory.

I had a problem with my car a noise when I turned and the tech heard it after driving it but could not find where it was coming from. Told me if it happens bring it in again and leave it and we will give you a loaner car. Two weeks later I brought the car back and received a loaner car. They called me and said my car now needs $1400 worth of work. Grease leaking from the left front axle and a wheel bearing on the right side. I requested the estimate and took my car to a local certified mechanic. They had the car for the entire day. They checked it mechanically and the axle and under the car and drove it and nothing was wrong with it. Before this I trusted them and felt they were honest and for the last few years was bringing it to them for service. Will not be taking my car there again.

Cedric did a great job getting my 2002 Sienna to pass emissions inspection. I had recently replaced my battery & failed emissions inspections 3 times until I brought the car into Toyota and they worked VERY hard to get my car ready for inspection & for a VERY fair price as well-just the cost of the gas that my car needed for the job & the diagnostic fee.

I am very thankful that they finally got the job done for me and I will definitely go back if I have this problem in the future!

Our overall experience with Toyota of Hackensack has been great. The customer service or ALL the staff has always been friendly, painless and inviting. The quality of work that Wilson put into finding our perfect vehicle was beyond what I would have ever expected. He was not pushy in trying to get me into something I did not want. He worked tirelessly trying to hunt down exactly what we were looking for and in the end; he made us a deal that we could not refuse. The price was excellent; the service was hard working and always friendly. Overall, this has been one of the best experiences I have ever had while purchasing a vehicle. I would recommend this dealership

Melissa sold me a 2019 86Gt for my son and She was more then above average At it .Melissa and I negotiated the sticker price , the warranty, and even leasing option possibility s . Melissa even help me out with paper and a decision I had to make on her day off. Melissa also help me when I drove the car home For the first time and I found out that the oil cap wasn t on and fell down under the engine.Melissa took action and I received a call the next morning from a manager called Ray . STOP!!!! STOP!!!! Save your money and do not shop for any car at this dealership. They are running a big scam with a bunch of people who are very aggressive, do not know their cars and ready to do anything to rob you of your money.
I was there on Jan 4, 2014 to have a look at a toyota certified pre owned SUV. I was shocked to see that the car had a really bruised rear bumper with numerous scratches all across the body, but it still passed the certification. According to Ceaser, the sales rep who helped us ( not at all) ,its minor and Certification at this dealership is a big joke ( they will even certify a vehicle with a missing tire, no doubt). After much trouble, we agreed upon a price and were shocked to see some mysterious charges on the sales deed. Toyota etching was $289 which was not even present on the car was charged and $400 for dealer processing fee is just ridiculous. When we confronted the Manager about these charges, he just refused to sell the car. I was so furious that he could not even explain the charges and had no professionalism and shocked that he still has a job.
TOYOTA, wake up before its too late and check the mess this place is in by using your brand name else you will keep losing one customer at a time.

These people are scammers. Financed a car and 3 weeks later they told me to take the vehicle back because the application didn't go threw, after i signed a contract. Yo-yo scam is what they are doing! I saw they posted the 2016 keep patriot again on their website and they have the same miles of when i financed it for when i had already put over 1000 miles on the car! They also kept my 250 deposit because of the miles i put. Which they are not stating ! Don't go their they will keep your money and lie to you ! The person i spoke to was Ryan .

Website says open on sunday. Called to confirm, they told me they're open on sunday. Drove all the way there, took whole family, including kids...they're closed. Called them again - "oh, our service department is open, the showroom is closed." Waste of time, go elsewhere.

I see you've responded. Does Toyota as a company back up your lies? Makes me start to doubt your trustworthiness as a company. They have on their website that you're open on Sunday.They don't say anything about the dealership being closed! If you're not allowed to be open, there's nothing wrong with that - be honest about it and don't inconvenience your potential customers.

The worst experience I have ever had, the sales person to lied to me and sold me a horrible used car. The interest was so high and yet the car had 80000 miles on it. I went to another dealership and they even told me, they have never seen such horrible service. Please don't go to this dealership!! They really took advantage of me and didn't care.

I don't know how this place has so many good reviews. I went looking to just test drive a car and talk numbers. I had a scheduled appointment for 1pm. I walk in and no one greets us for about 15 minutes. We finally decided to get someones attention and they told us to take a seat at a table....we did...no one was coming by to help us. We ask another staff member she says 30 minutes...1 hour passes still no one...2 hours later we're fed up and about to leave. We grab the same salesperson who told us to take a seat and he asks.."well who told you to sit there... =0. He then goes on to lie, saying there are only 3 cars being used for test drives. How do i know he lied? He hands me the key to a car that was not touched since I walked in at 1 pm..after I test drove it the sales person is missing again. I have someone go get him. He gives his friend a paper with numbers that is dropped off at our table. No one even takes the time to talk with us, he didn't even introduce himself to us. I was shocked at how terrible and inconsiderate this staff was and how unprofessional they are. NO ONE should give them your sale. absolutely terrible. I or none of my friends and family will be returning.

Usually takes and hour to and hour half.. Request for a hand wash.. It has a family atmosphere along with professionalism.. Dani the receptionist is really nice .. Rich my advisor was funny and cool ..I love doing reviews and honestly this dealership has the right people especially on the service side fixing the cars. First off the dealership is in shambles, construct...

First off the dealership is in shambles, construction going on everywhere and no signage posted of where to even park. So you make an appointment to see an automobile and the "salesman" is no where to be found. Then when he finally decides to show up tells me that he will pull up the car and disappears again. 10 minutes later I find the car myself outside. After test drive we go quote my trade in, he disappears again for 10 minutes and comes back with a laughable quote of 1/2 of what another 5 or 6 dealers had been giving me. I tell him the quote is too low for my trade in, he laughs and tells me to go sell it myself. Then I tell him would they budge on there car, he says no way, then tells me if I found it somewhere else thats where I should go buy it. All this going on in the middle of the dealership without even sitting me down. I laughed and walked away astonished that dealerships and uneducated sales people like this even exist. Meanwhile they called me a week later and asked if i was still interested hahaha. Worst dealership I visited out of about 10 in a two week period. Avoid at all costs, you will waste your time.

At the end of my experience product specialist Mike Quinones...I call him Generation Z explained the car features as if I was in 5th grade. No, this is a good thing because I am GEN-X and I need things explained to me like I am in 5th grade. I was suppose to meet with one sales man about a truck I saw online. When I got there he was to busy for me and passed me off to another one. That sales man then tried to rip me off paying over 6000 extra on the truck I wanted. When I said no he had me meet with there financial advisor and he tried non stop altering the deal so that I would sign somthing and be locked in. I told them I would put 300 on the car and would get back to them in 2 days and let them know if I could do it I was told it was a refundable 300 dollars but after I called back and pulled out of the deal I have called my salesman and the accounting side several times leaving messages and still have not heard when I will be getting my 300 dollars back. Very shady people

Just leased a car from this dealer. It's hysterical how people put negative reviews. I was able to lease my 2016 Highlander fully loaded for 150 per month less than what other dealers quoted. There was no pressure and I was in and out with my car in under 2 hrs. Ana, the sales rep was amazing. I only paid the first month. The sales manager worked with me back and forth 3x to strike the right deal. Obviously I have yet to service the car as I just got it. Will post after I get my service. Few tips- know what others have paid for your model and go from there. Clearly numbers are based on money factors/credit/ residuals etc. good luck! I was pleased.

I am going to start off by saying it was a very long drive to come in from where I am absolutely worth it. I have searched far and wide for Truck and Toyota of Hackensack had not only the best price but have equipment I was looking for. I met with sales person Armando Morell who sent me a video showing the car was actually there and putting a face to the name. It was convenient because I can see that the truck was actually there and they were just trying to get me to come in. I really just wanted to test drive a car I wasn t prepared to make my purchase but they made me an offer on my trade-in I really couldn t refuse. The process there afterwards so seamless I was in an out at no time at all. I recommend anybody looking for a certified Toyota to come to Toyota of Hackensack and go see Armando you will never find somebody more professional, courteous, and conscientious of ones time. Best experience at a car dealership ever.

My father's lease ended last month and he went to the dealer to try to see what new cars there but when he got there he met a woman named Ana Mayers who never gave him any options.The only thing she was telling him was to buy the car and with no other options he bought it for the price she told him but when he signed the contract the price elevated by $12,000.
He also had his own plates but they told him they were going to charge him $400 for new ones without even needing them.AFTER MANY CALLS and talking to the manager and the financing worker the plates finally arrived TWO MONTHS after the situation with the car.
Overall this was the worst experience ever with the person who sold us the car and the staff.
And also the worst experience with the Toyota customer experience because my father made MANYYY complains but they never did anything.

Had the displeasure of being in contact with 4 different employees on one car that I was interested in. All interactions were electronically during this pandemic, while the dealership is only operating electronically through sales. A lack of follow through from each one had caused me to lose out on a car that I had made known my interest to all of them. I was getting close to a deal with the Internet Sales Manager Jay Rim when the line of communication on his part suddenly went dead. I had contacted the dealership on a Thursday, was in touch with a sales rep and someone from Business Development, Mary Green. Both told me someone would get back to me and no one did. On Saturday, the Internet Sales Manager got in touch with me and the car at that point was still available. We had exchanged emails about particulars of the deal, and then all of a sudden no response. When I didnt hear back from him on Monday morning, I reached out to him in the afternoon and he told me that another deal had come in that morning that they were now looking at. By Wednesday the car was sold to someone else. When the dealership called me to tell me that they sold the car to someone else, they had tried to say that they had accepted on the car a week earlier. This was NOT TRUE, as with each of the employees that I was in contact the week before, they all said the car was still available. The Saturday prior I had exchanged several emails with Jay Rim working a deal for the car, so it was still in fact available. They only stopped working with me when "another offer" came in on Monday morning. I had felt like the dealership was operation more like an auction house. I had never purchased a car from this dealership before, so they have no loyalty as a buyer, I get that. But this is not what I expect from a Toyota dealership. When I asked for the General Manager's and Sales Manager's email addresses another employee Armando wouldn't provide it to me. Im just one person, they have plenty of positive reviews...but buyer beware is my advice based on my experience with several of their employees.

Wholly negative experience; bait-and-switch. Called Adam, the Internet Sales Liaison, at 9:30 morning of arrival. He stated car was there. We had appointment for 10:30. We drove 45 minutes to get to showroom, arriving at 10:15. Adam was not available when we arrived; a salesperson (I believe his name was Joe) helped us to bring out the car of interest. 10 minutes later, he returns saying, "The car is sold". We left immediately to head back home. When people, as well as companies, have the ability to make a choice, e.g. choose honesty over dishonesty or fairness over artifice, it appears as though Toyota of Hackensack has selected the latter in both situations. Checked Yelp to see what's there. Saw a review where another person was also treated similarly. To me, that demonstrates a habit of this dealership's sales approach, and predictive of their future sales approach. Truly unfortunate as we were very interested in the car.
