If you purchase a car here you can expect to receive your plates no sooner than three months after purchase. THIS WAS NOT EXPLAINED PRIOR TO PURCHASING THE CAR. Just a pleasant surprise they drop on you afterward. And then try reaching them by phone, IMPOSSIBLE. JUST IMPOSSIBLE. If people work there, they definitely are never picking up the phone or responding to voicemails. UNACCEPTABLE. I wish I had gone literally anywhere else and I strongly suggest others avoid this hellish place. I've never had such abysmal, disrespectful service. Full of regret.

Well, our sale person was nice and answered all our concerns and very patient. Our family has been going to this dealer since. Gotten our cars and they are very proffessional in doing so. The service side needs more improving. But it did came the long way. A little better experince but more room for improving just like any other business. Customer service is a must! Bill and Sam have been amazing with my family and I. We purchased many vehicles from them for many years. We always refer our family and friends to them. Very honest and truthful people. HIGHLY recommended. The only dealer I go to when it comes to trading and upgrading! Trust me this is not like any other dealer. There s no hidden fees everything is straight up. Finance department is also great. They also have an Allstate insurance office in the same dealer that s deals with different insurance companies. The service department also great just make an appointment and your gd to go. Very convenient! Thank you again for everything!

Armando was the most helpful and insightful person i may have been in communication with in quite awhile. He was correct that i needed the full size pickup for my needs even though i originally wanted a sedan. (If you have ever traveled with my wife, you will understand). I just left this place 20 minutes ago. My girlfriend and I walked in and started looking at cars, getting in and out of them to see what best fits our needs. After an hour and a half of not being contacted, NOT EVEN ONCE, we decided to leave. We made eye contact with plenty of employees, and others who were on their phone texting away. Not a single one of them was kind enough to even smile at us, say hi, or find out if we needed help. It felt like the employees did not even want to be working there. It got to the point where ANOTHER CUSTOMER came up to us and asked us if we had any questions or concerns before an employee did. He expressed to us that he did not work at the location, but maybe he could help us out because no one else would, which is ludicrous. I was looking forward to shopping at this location but after today I will not be coming back. I walk into Best Buy and get help immediately when I m spending $20 but can t get any help when looking to spend 25,000+, ridiculous.

I always have a positive experience at Toyota of Hackensack. The staff from Parts to Service always attend to me on time whether I have an appointment or not. Rudy, one of the Service Advisors, is courteous and always keeps me in the loop.

I just bought a car on Monday. Since we had been there for 6 hours, which I didn't expect, I was running late for work. I was in a bit of a rush and the man taking care of my financial papers for the car, pressured me into buying an extended warranty. After thinking about it for about 4 days, I've decided to cancel the extended warranty I signed for.
I've called a total of 10 times today. Left messages, talked to so many receptionists. NO ONE has answered my calls or returned my messages....starting from 9am to 9pm....open to close and I've been ignored...I feel on purpose.
Please do yourself a favor and choose another dealership. This place is just awful.

He worked with us and helped to get us into 2 new cars. I wholeheartedly recommend that you stop by Toyota in Hackensack when considering a new car. I was a bit nervous when it came to getting a new car. It was my first purchase of a new car and I was uncertain about many aspects. However, Armando made the whole process very straightforward, simple even. I felt very comfortable throughout the whole process and really felt like he cared, and was looking out for what was best for me. He did right by me both in terms of meeting what requirements I had (I drive a lot for work) as well as making sure it was at a price that not only worked within my budget, but seemed generous as well. I am very happy with my Camry, and I owe it all to Armando and the rest of the team here. Thank you so much!

Actually the deal today was reprehensible I went to buy a camry 2019 I was attended by the seller Angel Alvarez and could not improve the price of a Honda accord. I retired and then he called me in a mocking tone of how I had gone in the purchase of the Honda, minutes later my name was a woman from Toyota Hackensack telling me why I did not buy the Toyota vehicle? And I told him that I was looking to improve the price of Honda and he said that if I had also gone in the Honda because I went to Toyota? I replied, I have the right to look for other options. And I also drive a Toyota and it's my money that I have to take care of! He replied that this would bring me a consequence and threatened me with my credit average would go down enormously for not buying his Toyota vehicle, I really feel sad because I have the right to look for a vehicle in any concessionaire, I only seek to take care of my money I do not seek to be insulted threatening as said woman did. What a pity.

I wish I could leave no stars. Let me start of with this. I purchased my vehicle almost 2 months ago. My previous loan still has not been paid off. My credit has been hit for a late payment already and now my bank is calling me saying they're going to repo a car that I already traded in. I called my new Lien holder to find out if they sent the pay off. They informed me they already sent a check to Toyota of Hackensack. When I call my old Lien Holder, they inform me that Toyota never called them to get a 10 day payoff. So now they're just taking money. Also, when I try to call to get any information, the salesmen "Johnathan" rejects my calls and tells me to talk to management, that it's not his problem. When I try to call management, they reject my call and send me straight to voicemail. My new Lien holder, old Lien holder and myself have been calling them everyday and leaving them voicemails and emails and they have still yet to reply to any of them. We call them everyday, so there's no reason someone can't answer the phone, from 3 different callers.

Also on the day I went to purchase the vehicle, I had an appointment for 1pm. Everything was done online and was completed already. I only had to come in to sign paperwork. How was I the very last person, at 7pm, to leave. Note, I live over 2 hours away so it was a travel to get there. I saw people come in after me, test drive, purchase, and leave before me.

Also Also, mask were still required at the time of purchase and they had their sales team, and management all walking around without masks on.

I work in the automotive field myself and I would never treat a customer like this. Let alone leaving them in the dark for almost 2 months. I should have read the reviews before purchasing because I would have seen the non stop flow of 1 star reviews coming in, that should have been a red flag itself.

I just wanted to say that my car was held toooooooo long even though i made a day before appointment ! In at 9am out at 3 pm ~~~~something to change coils ???? Not a major job !! The lady at the (left) front desk as you enter was not as polite in giving direction to me to wait in the waiting room because i sat at first( briefly )in the area near the car service entrance ! I'm sensitive so i pick up on non cordial temperaments !

I've purchased many toyota vehicles in my lifetime but never at toyota of hackensack until now. They were quick and worked really hard to earn my business. My sales rep Edwin was great and he worked his magic to get me the SUV I wanted. Thank you for all of your help and I will return and recommend to my family and friends.

We just went to see and buy a Toyota car at Hackensack. As we were not sure either we want Toyota Rav 4 or Toyota Sienna so we asked the dealer to show us, but the dealer was so rude with us. He just took us to the cars and said to look by your self. He didn t open at lest one car for us to see the interior and features. The outside of the car we all have seen on the roads every day if we want to buy a car we need to know everything. And he was asking so rudely what model do you want (LE,SE, XLE) , how soon are you going to buy ?? That s his job to tell us what s different between them, how would the customers know everything.. they are not car sellers!! We wanted to buy a car but the dealer person has no interest to sell the car.
I will never ever go to that delearship and never recommend to any other people to go there.

I just wanted to give you a little back story...We got there a bit late and took the 4 runner out for a test drive, but by the time we got back it was already 9. The salesman, Mike Ianenlli, was awesome! He said don't worry about it being so late and was considerate and took the time and we never felt rushed! The finance guy Freddie was quick and efficient as well. The manager actually bought my family a pizza and some drinks and really was amazing. All said, by the time we left it was about 1030 and found out that they had an hour and a half drive back home. Awesome dedication, because we didn't know until we walked outside. Again, NEVER felt rushed even though they had such a long drive home and had to be back in the morning. Toyota is very lucky to have people that care about their customers as much as they do! Fantastic experience!

How they get you....call or email you to congratul...

How they get you....call or email you to congratulate you on being qualified for a vehicle off a "Soft Pull" of your credit report. Always a different story once you get there lol. Bottomline...if you don't have A1 credit, they'll put you in an old vehicle they're trying to get rid of w/dings, rust and scratches along with a sky high APR rate ($400-$500) monthly. Oh yes even with $1,000 down and a cosigner lol. Don't waste your time...take your $1,000 to a "Buy here, Pay here", you can easily jump into a 2015 or newer with lower monthly payments and less the hassle. Trust me!

Took my 2006 Prius to have it's Trans-axle fluid r...

Took my 2006 Prius to have it's Trans-axle fluid replaced. It is 4 Quarts and should only take 15 minutes to perform.

1 hour later I get a report that My water pump, belt and spark-plugs are bad. I declined the service. another hour later my Prius was ready to go. I took a look at the water-pump, it was in perfect condition. The mechanic made a poor judgement call, as I spilled Orange Windshield fluid the day before the service. He thought the pump was leaking, when it wasn't.

The Spark-plugs I replaced myself, as well as the belt.

I took the car back last Saturday for both Cooling systems to have a drain and fill. They wanted $200 to charge me 2 hours labor for 1 hours work. Since the Prius has two separate systems Toyota feels that they need to charge double. I walked away from the service and performed it myself for $20 worth of 50/50 Long Life coolant. Took less than one hour to do both systems.

Point is do it yourself!

I would gladly rate Toyota and leave my experience in this comment box below I went to Toyota about two days ago and I really really want to say that among all the places I've ever been these people actually help and care about their customers they assisted me every step of the way even though my credit isn't the best they worked with me and got me into a new Toyota vehicle 2017! They also gave me a rebate on the car and managed to get me decent car payments according to my situation. Thank u sooo much for all your help and efforts. It helped a lot ! Alex was my sales rep. & Another gentlemen by the name of Alex was my financial rep. Highly recommend them. Take care !

Worst Customer Service Specifically Steven Rosen, very disrespectful giving fake promises and was not able to help me fix the issue. Toyota of Toyota of Hackensack made mistake in my account and over charged me extra $350 and did not close the account. Steven Rosen promised to help me settle the issue and did not help me kept telling me to call Toyota of finance myself , and being very rude to me on the phone and text messages I am very disappointing with the service and the scam that I am still being charged extra money and especially with the rude customer service make sure not to deal with Steven Rosen, claiming he is wasting his time to help a customer, what kind of customer service it is instead of putting some effort to resolve they are not doing anything and overcharging me. Do yourself a favor and do not deal with Steven Rosen not honest man.

i was there today to get oil change for my camry,after a while lady from sevice asked me if i want to get my rear brake replace becuase she said they are bad,i said i am not having any issue yet and i will wait.
after i picked ud my car,i dont know what they did but every time i brake i start hearing very loud noise from rear brakes.i am assuming they didnt put same brake peds or didnt put any brake peds,i called her right after,she said they didint do anything..but i can tell you %100,it is not same brakes like it was before,
i will go there tomoroow again,lets see if they will take care of that problem,i will update my reviews once i get any news here
