We were there for a Christmas dinner put on by weed st catharine. the food was 5 star the staff was also 5 star great night out beautiful hotel

This is my 8 year olds rating, loved the water park.didn't like the dated bedding and the room temp was up and down all night. No breakfast buffet was a downer.

Friendly staff and clean room, decent restroom, though not enough of them.

This is the 3rd time my family and I have stayed here for a weekday/ end mini holiday.always a good time. Friendly service and clean rooms. What more could you want.

Great place to be in Niagara. Close to groceries, restaurants, a gas station and has its own waterpark inside. A Boston Pizza and an in house restaurant with room delivery is also available. Ample amount of parking. It is pretty near Canada One outlet mall and is a few kilometers from Clifton Hill.

Rooms dirty and black mold in bathroom. When front desk was advised they didn t seem shocked nor any urgency to get it looked at.

Only stayed one night but rooms great, fridge, coffee making facilities and on the bus route into Niagara for the tourists water park great fun for the kids. Staff helpful and pleasant.

We have stayed at this hotel many times, for dance events as well as short weekend getaways. It is clean, staff friendly, and the water park convenient and fun for the kids. It is starting to get tired - maybe because we have been so many times we notice more. But overall, it is good for short stays and events.

I remember coming here all the time when I was a kid, and I loved it. The waterpark and arcade are ideal for anyone, and the staff there are so nice.

As for the rest of the place, the rooms are very well cleaned and maintained, with some very friendly housekeepers. The restaurant isn't a bad place to dine on a given day.

I would recommend for any family. You will not regret it.

Very nice place with lots of things to keep young kids entertained. The staff was friendly and so were all of the guests. Only criticism would be that it was so busy that the staff was struggling to keep up and there were some long waits.

First off, the pros:
We were able to check in early (12:30 pm) because it was off peak season and they seemed to be pretty slow. Even if we couldn't check in early, you are able to use the water park starting at noon of your check in day, plus you get to use it the full day of your check out day as well.
The water park itself was decent. If you aren't local to Niagara Falls, it's cheaper to get The Groupon.
The cons:
The room smelled pretty bad. Not quite bad enough to complain to the front desk. Just musty, a little sweaty, like it needed to be aired out. Not leaving the AC on didn't help it either. The AC didn't cool the room down by much. It was still pretty warm even after running the AC all day and night. Even I was warm, and I am constantly cold!
Wristbands. Do NOT lose them! It's a $25 charge to replace it. But, if it gets damaged, do NOT throw it away! Instead, bring it to the front desk and they will replace it for free.
They don't offer shampoo or conditioner in the rooms. Only hand soap. From a dispenser. Even in the shower. It definitely cheapened the entire feel of the resort.

Waterpark was great for young kids (warmer than other Niagara waterparks and a lot of things appropriate for them). Rooms were nice but nothing extraordinary.

Don't stay through week not enough staff to have full water park and so much clorine

The room was ok, it looked nice but the floor in the bathroom was dirty.The kids had a great time at the water park but the chlorine was very strong and our eyes burned afterwards. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet in the morning, there was a good selection.

Clean rooms and lots of fun for children and adults. Great service to of course.

They charged us for waterpark entrance but it was open for everyone to enter the waterpark.....it was ridiculous we didn't even use our wristbands.....

A beautiful place, we had a great time - but definately showing its years

My children enjoy the pool area with multiple water slides and inner tube slides for all ages. Water heavily chlorinated and can discolour swimsuits if they aren t rinsed out immediately. Convention facilities are well maintained with efficient and friendly staff.

Pretty decent resort, however it is quite far from the falls

Meets expectations but don't love being searched at the door for food...Understand why though when a pretzel with dip costs 8 dollars.

Resort is good value for the money. Chlorine is a little high IMO but on the brightside could just mean less germs.

I had very poor customer service didn't even want to give me directions to the change rooms to busy.

Great place to stay with family with bunk beds in many rooms and the included waterpark is great for kids.

Easy to upgrade to a larger room, water park was small but it was easy to see your children so a good thing, staff all very friendly and parking close to your room very helpful. The cafe was closed to to technical issues. Clean, there was a grocery store next door and a good kitchenette to keep snacks for the kids, a short drive to the attractions at the falls. We would come back

Really nice customer service but the resort is not that big and clean for swimming

This place is great for small kids, but children 8+ may find it a bit underwhelming. I visited with my Mother in Law, who needs a Walker, and they shifted us into an accessible room without any fuss. Was great!

Water park is fun and great for younger kids! Lots of life jackets available and balls for water. Waves cone on every so often so make sure littles are wearing life jackets.

Rooms are standard. Maybe could use better cleaning though. Cobwebs in corners and a spider in tub. But the breakfast buffet was yummy even though pricey its convenient with kids to stay at one spot.

We had 2 rooms (12 ppl) 1 room with 3 adults and 2 kids and one with 2 adults and 5 kids (one of their 2 big rooms). The toilet backed up during dinner in the big room and could not be fixed and they had to be moved to 2, 2 bed rooms, which was very inconvenient. We still had to pay full price for the rooms. They gave us some tokens for the arcade ($50) and a free pizza, also a free future stay and water park admission, however after that experience it's hard to say if we would go back.

We had the spa room, there was hair in the spa, and the water park is great for younger children. The water was yellow, but it did smell like chlorine, which is odd...

I m very disappointed in my stay at the Americana resort in Niagara Falls. This was my second time here and DEFINITELY my last. First when we got to our room there was the previous people s room service stuff outside of our door. Great sight to see when your expecting a clean place. Second when I was going to bed I felt something under the sheet I was laying on and of course I go look and it was a used tissue. If you changed the sheets you would have noticed this piece of garbage and thrown it out and then placed a fresh sheet on the bed. I don t know about you but I like to sleep on clean sheets and be able to sleep comfortably knowing the sheets were changed after countless people stay here... gross. When I went to complain, the front desk did absolutely nothing they just said oh sorry thanks for letting us know. I m livid. I don t ever complain but this is disgusting. Don t stay here.

Went to have a family fun night. Water park is small but fun. Kids went down the slides while we relaxed in the hot tub. For what we paid on Groupon it was well worth it. Definitely recommend this park for families with younger children.

A great family fun place. Water park was great for our two girls (3&5) and us as parents.

Been here a few times before but this time it felt outdated, empty and service wasn't the best. The water park felt empty and the water was cold. Heating in the room needs to be improved and the ability to be able to control or other than by a low and high heat button.

I would recommend getting the cabana if you're going to the Waterpark

Disappointed that they charge as much as great wolf lodge but are no where near on the same terms of what great wolf offers experience wise. I would have rather paid the same amount at great wolf lodge and got more bang for your buck there. I've tried it and likely would not return.

Nothing is wrong with the service, the hotel seems a little outdated and at some areas of the hotel dingy and not lit well enough.

The area is kinda out of the way from all the attractions.

The waterpark is a lot smaller than great wolf lodge and does not offer as much.

Location is ok. Not walk8ng from falls. Rooms are good and service is good. Waterpark is good but small not big as great wolf but for the price its great. Nice playarea for kids. Bbq areas. Boston pizza on location. Overall nice experience. Again for this price you cannot go wrong

We booked the Family Kiddie Suite... received a room with a double bed not queen...and the Kids had a room with 2 bunk beds but no window, in my books we call that a closet...The worst part was in front of the main elevator and main exit doors...the noise, the people stomping by, and peeping in the 1 window, not sure how that was a "Family Suite"
Will not be back...

The rooms themselves were okay, but parking is expensive

We were here for a dance competition and I found it was overly priced for the accommodations. We appreciated the late check out but yet at a cost.

Great place for a night or two with the kids. Rooms and service were good. Aquapark is great and kids spent hours there..Yes the chlorine level is high but oh well, understandable. Good Boston Pizza attached to lobby. Close to plenty of stores. All in all, enjoyable and will return.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, a bit pricey all the way from the Falls. Taxi ride is going to cost you $$$ to anywhere in the city.

My wedding reception is being held here and the staff have been only accommodating! The waterpark is great and have a great assortment of rooms especially for larger parties and families

My daughter and I stayed here Sept 22-24 2017 we felt this place is over rated. The bathtub wasn;t cleaned well. Poor communication by staff. some staff were rude. No one told us we had to pay for parking we did not get a choice they just charged us. They took $120 deposit when I asked about it at check out staff was rude and said she see no deposit. I will never stay here again. If I am paying $200 a night for a room you better be letting me park free. We stayed in room 106 it was noisy in the day and at night kids crying people outside noisy. Terrible.

I stayed here in October of 2013 and I liked it. The beds were comfortable and having a water park in the hotel was a plus!

My daughter was there for a birthday party this past weekend. Despite the cooler weather, it was muggy and tropical inside the waterpark. Considering the size limitations, there is quite a lot of fun packed in. My daughter had a blast, as did everyone else at the party. We will definitely be returning.

Inside it was very cold, we stayed with our coats on and in the public washrooms it was freezing

Indoor resort, amusement park and outdoor park. Love it to the max.

Overall good. But water was a bit cold for the kids. Staff was great for check in - huge lineup but really took their time to explain everything and were very pleasant and professional.

Arrived to dirty bedding (hairs on pillow cases and in the sheets) as well as a heavily stained chair.

Staff is friendly, but it doesn't make up for the disgusting lack of housekeeping.

The only reason I'm continuing my stay is that all the rooms within walking distance of the dance competition my daughter is in (at Americana) are booked solid.

It looks like the standards have slipped - this place came highly recommended by friends and colleagues.

If I wanted to spend $900+ and sleep in filth, I could have stayed home and topped off my mortgage payment.

Edit: after going down to front counter the manager is offering to show me other rooms. Customer service is definitely something they do their best to accommodate but honestly these are issues no one should have to deal with at a hotel - especially with this price tag

Stayed over night for the first time there was a hockey team or 2 this caused quite a bit of hall runners but after 1am things settled down and it was an enjoyable weekend

Staff were friendly and helpful. Sorry I believe the overall value was not very good. You may want to consider off site for breakfast options.

Didn't stay in any rooms only went for dinner and it was very slow service

lots hidden charge compare to great wolf. Thought was cheaper when booking, when check out you will see extra HST/Resort Fee Parking Fee, which is 100 dollar more than booking. Go with great wolf which give you the right amount when booking and check out

Worth the price ,we really enjoyed our stay, just one thing we checked in really late, and i asked if we could have late check out, they didnt allow us even 30 mins, almost all hotels ive been allow an hour ,i was upset, but overall the stay was great ,will come back

Went in for waterpark with family. Compared to Fallsview waterpark, this one is very small with just 2 slides for adults. Would not recommend it if you have other waterpark choices available.

Below average. it's cold in the theme park. the wait for ordering snacks by the theme park takes forever. employees seemed tired of working here. pillow is horrible. activity organised is substandard. completely below par with any other. disappointing.
