well i have been having sever issues with head aches my dr ordered blood work and ct STAT 24 hours later I had to call the lab to get my results sent to my doctor because they did NOT follow through on the stat orders for the blood work. further more my dr had to call several times to get them to send over the stat report on my ct. I am spilling keytones in my urine and these blood test are very important as the these sever head aches could be as a result of DKS. This hospital has more than once failed to properly do the services this community needs it to do in regards to my health and I have only lived here for 1 month, I can't imagine I am the only one with these issues but I guess it matters none since this is our only choice of hospitals in our county or area,

I loved the nurses I had when I gave birth BUT while being there I was told my son was circumsized. Not til I went home after that I found they lied and had his pediatrician confirm they didn't. So I was lied too. Then when getting medicine they said my son didn't have a name yet which was a damn lie cause I put one down and I told all of them what his name was. So you guys are ridiculous

My father in law received poor care while admitted as a patient. He sat in soiled jeans for several hours after multiple requests to be removed from his monitors in order to take a shower. He also wasn t provided breakfast or lunch trays because he was admitted the night prior and no one had ensured that the kitchen staff were aware of his admission. He was offered sprite and crackers to hold him over until dinner. I will never recommend Tennova to anyone I know or care about. If I could give zero stars I would.

I couldn't even get in to be seen. The # I was given on my referral sent me to a menu that doesn't offer to schedule appts. I connected to the operator who got snippy because I had no idea who was in charge of scheduling MRIs. I tried for 3 days to schedule an apt for an MRI. The 1st day they claimed they needed a dr's order and that my referral wasn't enough so they sent an email requesting it.

On day 2 I had it sent over from Ft Campbell, who I finally called myself, not trusting Tennova because they said they still hadn't gotten it. I was on the line when it was sent over to them so I know it was sent. I waited 45 mins to call them back to give them time to check their incoming mail. When I got through I was told they didn't have it and when I pointed out that I know it was sent they claimed they had a 'room where the dr orders are renamed before being given to the schedulers'. Then was told to call back the next morning because they'd be closing in an hr.

I called back the 3rd day only to be told they still didn't have it. So I asked to talk to a supervisor. I was told "You need to talk to John at Fort Campbell he handles this stuff." That's when I went off on the lady, "He is NOT your supervisor!" There was some very heated words on my end before I hung up and called Referral Management at Fort Campbell requesting to be sent to a different hospital.

The entire 5 calls over 3 days was them claiming it was all Ft Campbell's fault for not giving them a dr's order and only sending a referral. Yet they offered no help other than constantly requesting for the orders to be sent. No one was willing to actually assist me or direct me to someone who could, unless I got angry and started pointing out discrepancies such as on day 2 they claimed they dr orders were required by law but on day 3 it was a rule. The person they told me to see wasn't even employed by them but by Ft Campbell.

The only thing I can say positive is that Ft Campbell's Referral Management was able to change my hospital and book me an appt in less than an hour once I called them saying I had enough of Tennova.

Dehydrated child, due to vomiting, needing an iv to get more fluids re-entered and we are still sitting in the ER 3 hours later. Pathetic service for only needing some fluids. Go see your local animal hospital and you'll get better service and care and probably have a cheaper bill.

Wroste experience ever! Went to the ER and waited hours, doctor talked to me and that was it! No help at all! Doctor told me since my issue is not surgical they would not see me... then he had the nerve to say come back if i show signs of certain symptoms... the same symptoms i went there to begin with! TENNOVA IS MONEY HUNGRY AND WONT BOTHER WITH YOU UNLESS THEY CAN RACK UP A HIGH BILL

I recently had a tubal ligation and ablation done. I was in recovery for 3 hours as the nurse pointed out. I experienced a lot of pain for something I was told I would have minimal pain. I told the nurse several times I could not urinate & that I would push but just trickles would come out, and I was At a 10 in pain level . She told me the trickles of urine were fine that , it was a sign my bladder was working . She gave pain medicine and discharged me . I gathered My medical record from tenova and what do you know the nurse falsified my chart saying i was at 3 on pain level and I could Urinate successful with no problems .

I went back to tenova Er 13 hours later because i was still not able to urinate. They put a catheter in and I still Had pain in my abdomen. Turns out the Doctor clamped my Ureter shut. Yep he clamped my tube that runs from my kidney to my bladder shut .

Had the nurse not lied during my recovery the obstruction to my ureter could have been detected early on instead hours laters .

I now have a nephrostomy bag on my kidney until I m able to see another urologist on the 26th of March . A month out from the day of the initial surgery .

Risk management was no help and admitted to hearing about the incident but had no words as to why she did not contact me . She even said the issue was being looked into . How do you look into an incident without contacting the person it happened to ?

I am a healthy person , never had surgery until feb 26th . Never understood why people had bad reviews on tenova, well now I do. I m a victim of negligence from the nurse in my recovery room and the doctor that performed the initial surgery.

I was due to have a knee replacement surgery, so decided to read the reviews for Gateway[Tennova], out of 300 reviews,99% of them where no good. If I didn't want my knee surgery so bad, I don't think I would have gotten it. I thank God every day that I didn't listen to all these negative reviews. ALL the nurses were professional, caring, and all have great bed side manners. If you want something explained to you, they explained in detail. I saw my DR. twice, other hospitals I only saw my DR. once. I think Clarksville is very lucky to have a fine hospital. Now that the name has changed, maybe they are bring in staff that like their jobs, and care about people.

Protocol at Tennova ER is very horrible. Something need to be done. Sat in lobby for hours wait for someone to see my husband. My had a diabetic seizure and was brought in my the Emergency service. We had to sit in the lobby for someone to see him.

I was admitted through the ER this past Thursday. I ended up having surgery on Friday. The ER staff were wonderful. They were quick and efficient. Once moved upstairs I had great care from the nurses on the 4th floor. Dr. Atwater performed my surgery and was great. He explained the procedure and took the time to answer all of my questions. The OR nurses and CRNA were also excellent. They helped calm my nerves prior to going into the operating room. They took excellent care of me and ensured I wasn't in a ton of pain post surgery. They kept my husband informed throughout the whole process. I was quite nervous given some of the reviews I have read, but I wouldn't be scared to have a procedure there again.

I just went to the er for chest pain and shortness...

I just went to the er for chest pain and shortness of breath and I had a very bad experience while I was there. The staff was very rude and unsympathetic. I feel like I was not treated like I should have been esp being in the er with chest pain. First I was told I had an acute heartattack by the staff doctor but was left unattended in the room for a long period of time. When she came back I wanted to ask her questions but she tild me she had other patients to see. I told her to just go on then and I felt like I was not important. I had to go to the bathroom and I hit the nurse button 3 times and told them I needed to go. After a period of time, I took it upon myself to scoot all the way down the bed to get myself out of the bed that had rails up that I couldn't get out of, just so I can walk outside the er room to get help. Finally I found someone to unhook me and showed me the restroom.
After a long while, I was told that I was going to get a stressed test and a CT scan but they were going to put me in another room in the er for now. After I got into the other room, I was measuered for the CT scan but nothing else happened after that. I never had my CT scan and I never had my stress test like I was told. By early in the morning I needed to go to the rest room. The nurse told me to go and when I got back she would hook me back up to the heart machines. When I got back I sat on the side of the bed for 25 mins with no help to get hooked back up even after I repeatedly hitting the nurses bottom on the bed. The heart machine kept repeatedly beeping loudly and after 25 mins of that, I was starting to get a headache. I started to feel very naglected and I started to really cry by that point. Having chest pains and shortness of breath with being told I could be having a heartattack, made me worry about myself extemly bad and I started to panic. What if I was in a cardiac arrest and no one to come to my aid for 25 mins? I would have been dead. Finally a person came to my room to take a survey of all things and ironically ask how my visit is going and seen that I was histarical. He asked me what was wrong and I told him. He was very apologetic and told me the bed botton for the nurse didn't work for that room and he litterly had to dig the nurse button out from under a ton of wires to give it to me if I needed help. He told me that that was not how his staff was suppose to treat the patients by not getting that nurse button to me while I was in the room. To make the long story short, I did not feel safe there. I was told 500 different things by to many people and no one ever fell through on what was told to me. I never got to talk to a cardiologist nor my blood doctor that I was told I would speak too. I never got my CT scan or my stress test. No one still could not tell me what was really wrong with me and I was discharged without knowing anything. I went home in distress with still chest discomfort. I did not want to go back bc of fear of the same outcome experience. If I need to go back to er, I will be driving to Nashville unfortunately and hope that I make it.

I had same Day Surgery done by Dr. Duffin on 05 - 25 - 17 , the entire Staff of ER Nurses / Doctors attending to me the day prior to this 05 -24 ; when I was admitted with severe Abdominal pain , where exemplary in their Patient care and Professionalism .
For my Surgery which was scheduled the day after I had the most compassionate , professional , excellent Nurses at the SDS Team , whom I am really grateful for and wish to highlight . Within their duties in Nursing they made me feel comfortable and at ease , both Kisa and Rhonda from SDS are incredible Nurses . Any Nurse is an Angel in scrubs , we never tell them enough how much we appreciate them .
Kisa and Rhonda , you two are exceptional Nurses and I thank you both for taking such good care of me .

Sincerely , Margit MC Kinzie

They were nice, fast, accurate, and quality. I enjoyed my stay and they even brought me breakfast in bed even though I wasn't there for very long. Even their prescription papers look very professional. Wasn't afraid to give me a script for Norco either. Bless them now I will be pain free for a few days until my hand heals.

Arrived at the remote location with a leg pain that ended up being a clot (dvt). I was taken right in without a wait and the dr and the physician assistant were brilliant, even though I only had leg pain they probably saved my life because the clots traveled to my lungs giving me a PE. Then, I was transported to the main building of tennova via ambulance. Once I arrived to the main building it was like being admitted to a third world hospital with the exterior facade of a descent hospital. for three days, I may have seen my attending doctor a total of 15 to 20 minutes total. The three times he came to visit he always acted in a hurry and would cut our talk short saying he would return to finish our conversation only to return the next day. The only time he every seemed concerned was when my insurance asked for a preauthorization on my blood thinner prescription. His voice raised a few octaves as he said that he would have to do his rounds first and it takes at least 45 minutes to fill the form, as I said "ok, that's fine." He turned and walked away without a response. Instead of doing the preauthorization, the doctor instead goes to ask admin for a coupon to cover the prescription so he can release me. The difference being that the preauthorization establishes the need for med to my insurance allowing me to be able to refill the med for the next 3 months as it is needed. Once I recieved my coupon the nurse hands me some paperwork and asks me to sign for it and then says I'm allowed to leave. Wanting more information, I asked the nurse about the DVT leg pain (my main nurse for the last 3 days) she responds with a confused look says I only had the PE and didn't know of any DVT. If I was asked at any time during my stay if I was ok, I would respond with "I'm ok but my leg still hurts". I was taken back by this response as every interaction with this nurse was about my leg pain. My stunned silence allows her the time to tell me that I am now allowed to leave whenever I was ready. With a large back pack on my back, a pillow clutched in my hands to relieve some of the pain, I hobbled down the hallway passing all the nurses stations with a grimacing look of pain as I walk on my clot ridden leg as everyone noticed but no one does anything. I thought most of people took an oath to help people or at least to do the right thing. I left that place without knowing if I could even take my everyday medications with my new prescription or with the PE and DVT. I still dont know. The worst part is that I dont know what's normal and what I should be concerned about, or what i can or cant do, what i should do or how. I haven't cried in years, long enough that I cant remember the last time. While writing this I have had to stop about three times because the tears well and I cant see to type because I'm still hurting but most of I am scared and uninformed. It feels like they just released me to die in front of my beautiful little girls and have my wonderful wife to wake up to her cold dead husband. Thanks Tennova.

Currently here with my wife now. July 16, 2016 @10:20am. She's in labor and we literally had to wait an hour for the CRNA. She stated her contractions were past a 10 on a scale of 1-10. I'm assuming we came around shift change but no one came in to check on her to see if she's ok. I had to go out twice to ask if the CRNA coming. She buzzed the nurse to ask for a cup of ice, we waited for 40+ mins to get ice. I walk outside the lady that we buzzed asked, "can I help you?" While she's on her cell phone and the one nurse across from her was also on her phone texting. I asked her if there is a place to get some ice and the door she pointed to was literally right across from her that said staff only. I went in to get the ice for my wife myself. There needs to be some type of supervisor or something to randomly check on their staff because seems like some are here to just get their check and go home. Will update after the birth and the remaining experience.

I came into the ER with severe chest pain. I received an EKG fairly quickly and was told it would be given to a doctor immediately. About an hour and a half later, a doctor greeted me and told me he would order an EKG. I told him I had already had one, and he apologized and said he had been too busy to review it. Not reassuring to hear. A nurse then came in and dressed me in a gown and searched my clothes for drugs....
3 hours later, I get a chest x-ray(without hearing anything about the EKG results). 3 hours after the x-Ray, I saw the doctor again and he told me I have heartburn and am being discharged. I told him I knew it wasn t heartburn, and I was still in horrible pain. He said ok and sent a nurse in to take me out of my room and into a different room, where I sat for over an hour before she brought me discharge papers. I asked her why I was being discharged (as I was under the impression that my doctor was maybe hopefully still looking into my condition) and she said their protocol for chest pain was to make sure I was not having a heart attack, and I obviously wasn t, so no further treatment was required of them.
After I left, I went to St. Thomas s ER. I was assured by the ER doctor UNPROMPTED that the hospital was determined to diagnose and care for me, whether I was having a heart attack or not. After an EKG and echocardiogram, I was quickly diagnosed with pericarditis.
Needless to say, I will never step foot inside Tennova again.

My 3rd child was born 11/6/2015 here. The entire experience was absolutely horrific, humiliating, painful & traumatic. So much that it's taken me over a year to write about it. If you're thinking of having your baby here - don't.
The morning started w/ an extremely unprofessional registrar. She rudely informed me that my surgery wasn't scheduled until 11:30 a.m. (3 hrs later) rolled her eyes & blamed doctor for the mistake. Turns out it had been rescheduled & the hospital staff had failed to call me.

I was taken up to the L&D floor by 2 nurses who complained loudly the entire way. They talked about how incompetent my doctor was & how he was forgetful & "scatter-brained" This was my 1st C-Section experience and was extremely urgent due to complete placenta previa, so I was already nervous about the procedure.

Surgery was difficult & my baby was immediately taken away for several hours. I was left ALONE in the recovery room for all that time. Still numb from surgery & unable to move. Repeatedly asking about my baby & nobody seemed to know anything. This was torturous!
Afterward I found out that while I wondered if my baby was alive that my visitors were seeing, holding, & photographing him. That my husband wasn't allowed back to my room to see me.

I pleaded w SEVERAL people to get anyone available or willing to bring my new baby to my room. Begging was to become the only way to get anything needed. Water, food, help to the bathroom, help sitting up, pain relief, catheter changes... anything. It was degrading.
I cried, the nurses huffed, complained, talked to me with disdain. Acted as if I was an annoyance. Not a patient. Not even a human being. Not a single one of them showed any compassion.

They failed to properly keep up with orders for pain relief. But I was terrified to complain after my previous request was met with a stern scolding.

In such excruciating pain that I couldn't sleep & felt delirious. If I could've gotten up I would have left!

The 1st night one of the nurses changed my catheter bag & spilled the entire contents on the floor beside my bed. Nobody EVER came in to clean it up & it dried there.

Housekeeping NEVER cleaned anything during my stay including the toilet or floors, never emptied the container of soiled linens, the room trash or the "biohazard" trash in the restroom. It was disgusting.

I was left to lay in the same filthy bloody sheets for my entire 3 day stay.

On day 2 we were told that my son's blood sugar was low & that he would be sent to the NICU to receive IV fluid. They actually BLAMED ME. Told me I should've asked for a Lactation Consultant knowing I had been pleading for one the whole time.

When they brought the baby back that evening, I asked the nurse to help me to a position to hold him. She refused. And told me to "wake him (motioning to my husband, sleeping on the sofa) if you need help". Then just walked out.

I was discharged on the 3rd morning but the baby wasn't. Still couldn't stand up on my own. But since I was discharged they no longer even tried to come by my room. We then sat there until 10pm that night waiting on the pediatrician.

When she finally came around & made sure to let me know that she had "a long day" was condescending to my husband & short with answering my questions. She also remarked that "you look TERRIBLE, you shouldn't have been discharged yet". BUT as a testament to how much she just didn't care, she left.

There were no nurses at the station or in the hallway. Nobody answered my repeated calls to the desk. Finally at nearly 11:00 pm my husband, along with my 5 & 7 year old children carried my bags to the car. Then came back to get me & the baby. My husband had to find a wheelchair. Still no nurses.

Had to leave out a lot of details to shorten this "review" Hopefully this little bit will prevent another woman from having to go through the hell that I did here.

Was treated good. Professional and adequat . The hospital staff was nice and professional in my care and treatment. There are 2 nurses Anita and Brooke that stood out in my mind as most professional. And one CNA DILLON who was pasionet about the healthcare profession. And of cours Dr. Price is an awsome man with great bedside manner and great sense of humor

NEVER EVER COMING TO THIS FACILITY again. I am 34 weeks pregnant, and afraid that My unborn child is harmed or will be harmed due to a rash I have.
I arrived at facility around 11, pm. OMG, The staff was rude, my doctor was inconsiderate and disrespectful. I was at this ER for almost 4 hours, and upon discharge I still have no clear MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS, I still am not sure if my conern is serious, or what I should do. My discharge papers were created at 1:54, ( as it was typed and created by physician) ... yet no word from my nurse or doctor as to what my symptoms are or officially status of my child s health and accurate heart beat. I finally received my discharge papers at 2:50, in which I had to find the nurse myself!!! TERRIBLE SERVICE. I wasn t even told my child s accurate Heart rate upon leaving !!! I am from Nashville, and SOUTHERN HILLS IS TERRIBLE, but Tennova is now the number one hospital I will never attend. I don t care what my symptoms are, while in Clarksville, I will never attend this facility again. 4 hours of my life wasted and as a mother to be I am still upset and highly worried about my unborn child.

Saw a physician take the time to try to find a wheelchair for a patient and wheeled the patient out to their car. I have never seen a MD take time to do something like that. He was tall with black scrubs, dark hair, and a beard. I think his name was Dr. Patton? Real caring and a class act!

When it is common to hear: don't go to "The Gatewa...

When it is common to hear: don't go to "The Gateway to Hell," "The Gateway to Suffering," and "The No Help Gateway!" The community is not kidding. The new management company should really READ ALL OF THESE REVIEWS!!! They need to make changes, because some serious changes need to be made!

Let me get a few things straight:
"I am not a drug-seeker, I cannot control my severe allergies to foods and medications, nor do I enjoy having a severe and yes, very painful disease. I do not enjoy visits to the ER or being admitted to the hospital. I have Multiple Sclerosis (MS), I have a permanent catheter surgically implanted in my chest for medication infusions, I have blood clotting issues, asthma, and Degenerative Disc Disorder. So to all the doctors, PA's, nurses, and hospital staff at Gateway, let's just get that straight right now!

And I do not consider visits to your facility as a fun way to spend my time and I'd like to thank you all for taking the time to make sure every visit is as MISERABLE as humanly possible!

To be fair there have been a few exceptions to this, but they are so FEW that it's difficult to remember...which is SAD, PATHETIC, and just plain WRONG!!!

I feel badly for anyone who, like myself often needs emergent treatment for their chronic illness. Especially, if it's not an illness they deem important to help, then you are simply OUT OF LUCK!

Sorry for you if your treating physician is either Dr. V or Dr. W (sorry I'm not adding their full names, but most will know who I'm writing about by their initials alone). There are too many more to list, but these two...truly DO NOT care about patients who live with chronic, painful, and often debilitating diseases!

They make sure that you and everyone knows that they think you are drug seeking, faking new symptoms, and are a COMPLETE BURDEN AND THAT YOU ARE WASTING THEIR TIME!

There are a few compassionate doctors/PA's, but they are few and far between UNFORTUNATELY!

These doctors infect their staff with their negative attitudes and lack of compassion so that it flows into the nursing staff, making an already terrible visit (due to feeling so sick that I've broken down to have my family take me there) into the worst treatment EVER!

I wonder if they would appreciate their loved one's being treated the way they treat patients???

The worst visit was the time when I fell, was in excruciating pain, lost the feeling to my bladder and bowels after being moved around roughly during X-ray's, was vomiting due to the severe pain, treated like a drug seeker, and as if I was lying about falling. After 4 hours, one pain pill, nausea medication in my port, my daughter calling the "patient advocates" (don't get me started on these people, they are an ABSOLUTE JOKE!) that I was finally taken to MRI. Where they discovered, yes, I was TRULY IN PAIN BECAUSE I HAD BROKEN TWO VERTEBRAE IN MY BACK!!!

I would never go back to them again if I could AVOID it, unfortunately, I do not have this luxury all the time. I'd suggest making the drive to Northcrest in Springfield or St. Thomas in Nashville...any other ER, anywhere else is better than here!!!

I truly pray that the new management reads comments, but if they are just about the money, well Clarksville residents have no hope for a better ER or local hospital. I could write over 50 stories about my treatment and the way my family has been treated here, all bad. I could also write about the two times I remember being treated decently, and that is SAD!!!

I was getting very upset my wife and daughter had been waiting for 6 hours at 1am to both be seen and have a long drive home, so I called the charge nurse, Wendy, and despite my sharp tone and complaining she was kind and professional. Wendy went on to explain that the national average is a 8-9 hour wait in the ER with the new Obamacare. Remember this the next time the President is elected people and be prepared to camp out at the ER. My advice is show up at bed time, and by the time you wake up in the morning you will be seen.

Not worth 1 star. Not even going to call this hell hole a hospital bc they don t deserve that. As soon as you walk in it smells like diseases. I waited 6 hours and i still didn t get a room assigned. They made me pee twice because they messed up. Not to mention they only had one housekeeper there the entire night! Some kid through up and it took them atleast an hour to clean it. Please save ur time and drive to Nashville, you will still be back home before being seen here.

I went in earlier today for severe hamstring pain. They did xrays but can t even do an MRI!!! This is a hospital?!? I was given some pain meds and crutches, that I can t even use because my leg will not straighten out, and told to follow up with my primary doctor when I get home. Mind you I was traveling and 3 hours away from home. I would Never go to an emergency room if it was not a TRUE emergency. I am currently no better than I was when I entered the emergency room! Now I have to drive home 3 hours and go to a REAL HOSPITAL, so they can treat me. This place is nothing more than a glorified urgent care center .

The wait time for radiology is ridiculous. You go to the first desk to get a buzzer to wait 35 minutes to verify your name and address. Then you're given paper work to give to a different desk to sit and wait again. There is a much more efficient way to get all of that done.

Nurse Ashley was also amazing. She calmed me down answered my questions and also kept a wonderful sense of humor. Now the doctor is kind BUT I'm still confused of what even was wrong or going on. He's not very clear with diagnostics. But thank you all for your help.

I went to the ER last night and it was my first time . it took less than 25 minutes to get checked in to do a pre exam and to get called back where I was treated like a queen. The Doctor or NP whoever she was was kind she listened and she was genuinely concerned all my nurses were friendly and helpful and I left feeling alot better . I even got an escort by security to my car so I didn't have to walk in the rain I'm not old or disabled I'm 30 and I mattered to this hospital I was so impressed .

My daughter is with a friend who is known for tumors and is in pain but they have taken everyone who came in after her and all of them have left
I was in there once when a woman miscarried with blood running into her shoes and just left her there while they helped people that came in after her
THIS HOSPITAL IS NO WHERE TO GO WHEN UR SICK GO TO NASHVILLE!!!!

The ER has the most negligent, abusive and uneducated medical staff I've ever encountered. They are happy to ignore your multiple obvious symptoms and test results, label you a drug seeker, shove you out the door and let you die--as long as it's not on their property.
Go to Nashville where there are qualified medical professionals that can save your life AND fix the horrible mistakes these idiots have made.

STAY AWAY.

My experience was with the x-ray dept. which was very pleasant, just had to wait a bit long. Now I have found out my heel has a fracture, and I need the x-ray transferred to a disc so someone else can pick it up for me, to see another doctor. This has not been a pleasant experience, they insist that I come by in person to get the disc. that is not an easy thing to do since I don't need to be walking. any suggestions?

My Wife was recently admitted and I have never seen such poor treatment. Her Nurse did not check on her for 8 hours. Instead of coming to the room the Doctor called over the phone (never have seen that done before, how lazy). The Doctor was dismissive of a concern she had the one and only time he came to the room. The Nurse realized after a day my wife should have had an IV started. They failed to bring her food for lunch and dinner. Her CNA realized she had not eaten, by that time the cafeteria was closed, so she just got a sandwich. It felt like they were rushing her out the door to make room for the next victim/patient. There was not a clear explanation as to the condition of my wife upon release. When my wife followed up with her primary care she found out they lied stating she refused a cardiac catheterization. Me and my wife was blown away by so called medical professionals lying on record. My Wife did not refuse any treatment and never saw or talked to a cardiologist. I suspect a vet could do better than Tennova. If you love your family do not send them to Tennova. If you want proper care go to Nashville.

My mother was admitted into the er on 4/3/2019 and only needed platelets and blood because she battled cancer. 3 days after being admitted she got worst. I asked for dr's to show ct scan results and they failed to every time asked, also failed to even explain the ct scans. My mother was also asked for a male nurse not to enter her room because she needed assistance to bathroom, but male nurse came in anyway against her will along with 2 other female nurse and violated my mother privacy. 4/17.2019 My mother Died! It took ,my breath away. ct scan results on that day show she had a brain bleed that supposedly started days before but family was never informed, must I remind you I asked to see scans over and over again with no info. Stay away from this Hospital if you can. if an absolute emergency stay alert and pay attention to everything being done. take record, take note and never leave family alone with strangers.

I will never go there again. If I have an emergency I will drive right past it to the next hospital! Worst care I've ever received. The nurses were rude, the rooms were dirty, the hospital was empty yet I still sat there for three hours anx a nurse never entered the room. She stopped past the door and told us we were probably not going to be abld to get helped and left.. it was truly unbelievable the visit I had there.

I wouldn't come here again if I were on fire . The e.r (especially a 30 somethingmale PA , white, bald.. just him) is chock full of rude,
holier-than-thou "medical professionals'. Expecting a little bit of Bedside manner? Good luck. I have some skin issues and was judged and asked repeatedly if I was on drugs. I'm not.

literally sat in the ER for 7 hours with my baby and all they did was monitor his vitals. then when it was time to discharge they wanted to run all these extra tests and basically hold you hostage. this is the last time I will ever come back to this god forsaken place. they re unprofessional. they lack basic staffing and constantly mess up simple procedures. drive to nashville save a life. come to tennova waste your time.

Take your ass to Vanderbilt! I don't EVEN want to start! Luckily I didn't die, or come to them dying...I think. Either way I lived...and Dr. Steele you're exempt. You were with the original Gateway! Seriously...Walgreens a minute clinic ANYTHING other than here.

The emergency room staff was unprofessional. Had my mom laid up in a bed for 2 hours before they decided to do anything. Which all they did was start an iv. It took her mom calling administration before my mom ever got to see a doctor hours later. If I could give this hospital 0 stars I would. I have spent many a days at different hospitals but this is by far the worse one i have ever been in and will never be back. As far as the er nurse Tammy, she was extremely rude and unprofessional.

I came into the ER at 7am due to a possible stroke. The staff were quick to attend to me. From the moment I arrived they seamlessly went from one test to another trying to diagnose my condition. The nurses were good, polite and efficient. The different areas that I had to have testing performed in were more than adequate. I was pleased with my level of care in the ER. The three days that I spent in the hospital were not as good. But overall my stay was comfortable and the people were great.

Excellent, personal care in the hospital. Nurses Angie and Heather were patient and helpful. Angie went to her car to bring me her own personal phone charger since mine was not available. Transporters , radiology techs, nuclear med personal were each kind and friendly. Not so much so in the Sango ER. No personal touch there. Care was robotic-like. Had to ask twice! for updates on the findings of my condition and plans for my care. Dr. K was the most informative. No efforts made to make me comfortable during my 3.5 hour stay. Had to ask for a pillow again, twice. Call light/tv not explained or demonstrated. Would not return to Sango ER. WOULD return to the hospital.

I can t speak on the whole hospital because I ve never needed other services, but the labor and delivery is AWESOME!!!! Delivered my 2nd child there and I had zero complaints again, 5 stars all the way! Every single person I encountered there was nothing short of amazing. Every nurse, housekeeper, nutrition service that came up made me feel so comfortable and welcome. Kati is was my L&D nurse that helped me deliver and she was the best, when I said I can t do it she pushed and encouraged me that I can do it, Sheryl was my other nurse before I went to maternity/postpartum, she was so knowledgeable and picked up there was something wrong and got my dr. Brandy was my maternity/postpartum nurse most of my stay in maternity, I loved her. People can say what they want about the rest of the hospital but the whole maternity/L&D/nursery staff was so good to me and my baby. I couldn t have asked for a better stay or staff to take care of us

I would rather go to the hospital in Hopkinsville or to Nashville than the hospital in Clarksville. The ER is dirty and the staff is so rude! I don t understand how a hospital can be allowed to operate like this! When I was in the ER waiting room I saw an older lady sitting there in so much pain The husband of this lady asked if it would be much longer and the person acted like he was bothering her and was such an ass to him. I wouldn t take my dog to that dump!

All I know is my ER visit was a great experience, everyone was did a great job, as soon as I got back to a room. Which didn t take long at all. The ER team had me hooked up to a IV and monitors so they could keep an check on things. Once it was determined what was going on me, they quickly moved me to recovery so that the next procedure could be done. Everyone in the recovery department and the anesthesiologist were wonderful group and along with my Dr, they decided that I needed more test and to be monitored overnight which turned into two nights. All the nurses in the step down room were great. I have great respect for all the Nurses and Doctors each and everyone of them that worked with or worked on me. I don t know if or ever I will see them again (outside) of the Hospital but I will pray for them everyday. The Nurses and Doctors are just as great as any in the area. Thank you for a great experience once again. May God Bless You All.

I was excited to be hired as an ED Tech.. Just to be extremely disappointed. The pay is terrible.. For starters. Majority of the employees sit behind the counter and txt, with no concern for the patients. The ER rooms are dirty. The way they treat patients is just awful. Only worked there for a little over a month, definitely was not a medical facility that I wanted to be associated with.

Quick in and out service. Staff were quick to get my daughter in to be seen for chest pain. Got her ekg/ chest xray and blood draw immediately. Her primary registered nurse was very informative as she worked in cardiology prior to this assignment and offered great suggestions. Dr. Adelman was as also a great physician. Came in initially to assess her and then back with all the results. Looks like we'll be following up w her primary care for further work-up for her chest pain, but I did appreciate the attentiveness and effectiveness of the staff. Most of all I appreciate how courteous they were and all their input. Thank you.

My care this past Wednesday was excellent! I had pneumonia and I was treated great and was explained too about some other issues. Was taken there by ambulance, so no waiting. Would like to know if you have primary care at this facility. Dr on call was Dr H, and the nurses, all great! Date was early am on Wed. Feb 20th. All that team deserves recognition!! Diana Kramer

Labor and delivery nurses were all very sweet and took time to make sure you always had what you needed. Everyone from the nursery was amazing and very helpful. I had a great experience delivering at this hospital.

These people genuinely do not care about people, just money. The abuse I recorded at the hand of these so called professionals was nothing short of horrifying. They're also not technically a hospital, they're a care facility, and a bad one at that. The rooms and floors were filthy, the air just felt like it was dirty, as weird as that sounds. The entire experience was just awful and I can't recommend enough that you take your loved ones to a legitimate hospital like Vanderbilt or St Thomas.

This place is terrible!!!! Do not waste your time here. These people are careless. Especially Donna one of the administrators. This hospital and all of its staff is dishonest. The fifth floor nurses are all liars and not one of them care about the patients. Im looking into a malpractice suit as soon as i get out of here! If i make it out alive!!!!!

ER experience was incredibly fast and efficient. Was only a couple hours and we found the treatment she needed. She feels much better and her quality of life has improved. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating staff. I'll be honest I've heard rumors from long ago about how Gateway had been. This hospital has definitely changed for the better. 100% recommend

Horrible experience. I had to bring my husband in to the ER one night. They left us in the waiting room a for 3+ hours. When they finally called us back they wanted to know if he had been drinking. His balance was off, he was vomiting, and had a terrible head ache. They sent him home with opioids to treat head pain. Said it was dehydration. My husband had suffered a STROKE and they never caught it. We do not do this hospital any longer for my family.

Tennova Uses Valley Emergency Physicians of Tennes...

Tennova Uses Valley Emergency Physicians of Tennessee and BEWARE - many insurances do NOT count VEPT as in-network. Though Tennova Hospital charges in-network as the facility used in an emergency, the DOCTORS inside the emergency room belong to a network that bills your ER visit separately and they charge the full price. My insurance could barely touch their charges. I've called to ask for full payment discounts and my insurance has tried to negotiate discounts with them - however, they do not try to help the customer. I had TWO ER visits this year - one when my 9 year old contracted viral meningitis. After Valley ER Physicians of TN charged me over 1700 for that visit *after* insurance, and with no discounts ....I swore off Tennova and their ER doctor group for life. Then, my 3 year old fell and broke her arm in October. The ONLY place I could go in that emergency is Tennova - and I fell into the Valley Emergency Physicians of Tennessee trap again. Again, astronomical out-of-network charges, even though the hospital is in-network.

Next emergency, I hope I have the time so I can drive all the way to Vanderbilt in Nashville. Great staff, great billing arrangements, fair pricing.

The wait is long, but this is not becasue of the hospital, but because of the public using this spce incorrectly. The ER is meant for trama or emergency moments not sniffles and colds. When sniffles and colds come in the line backs up for those with real problems. The people here are very nice and try their best to do everything they can for the patient.

I couldn't have asked for better care for my outpatient surgical procedure! Every staff member from registration to discharge were friendly, supportive and informative. The Same Day Surgery, Endo and Anesthesia staff were top of the line. Thanks also to Dr.Pischl for being on time, empathetic and professional. Special thanks to Kisa, Haley, Courtney and Sandra from the surgical team- you guys truly are the BEST!

Waited for over 3 hours for our 5 month old to be seen for respiratory infection, vomiting and diarrhea. I m not sure they understand how to triage. And the nurses were way more interested in trying to get our child to smile rather than getting her seen by a doctor. Awful experience.

I arrived an a ambulance because I had a seizure they staff really good especially the RN the two ladies from the lab the person who took me back to get a cat scan the doctor. Went to the ED with my son, paid my $250 copay, plus I have private insurance (not tencare) today I recived yet another bill showing my copayment, and my insurance payment, and A REMAINING BILL!!!!! I'm not sure that's even leagal. Took 3 hrs to be seen, nurse never even looked at my kids throat (what he was there for) but they sure made sure to bill me for it.

I just recently had surgery here. I have been here a few times prior but everyone kept telling me I needed to go somewhere else that Tennova was terrible and everything. I just want to say that I had the absoulte best experience ever there. They got me in there fast and in surgery quickly. Everything was smooth and cannot thank you guys enough!!

Despite the bad reviews, I received nothing short of quality care. I was admitted for bacterial pneumonia. I had doctors and nurses that seemed to genuinely care for my well-being and the doctors took cautionary steps to ensure I was well before I went home. The only reason I gave a 4-star is due to how long it took to get anything done. I understand change takes time and I can tell the hospital is working to make positives changes, but they are slow. Maybe that s because I m anxious to go home and the doctor is taking forever to do his rounds. Also, once I was admitted, it took about 12 hours for me to get into a room. However, I would prefer quality care rather than rushed care.

Tennova, keep up with the good work and continue to make positive steps in the right direction.

Thank you Tenova Clarksville, for the wonderful, and caring care that I had and my wife for the five days I spent there. To Dr. Khan, Dr. Shah, to the wonderful help of the head nurses, assistants, that made my stay somewhat relaxing undue to the circumstances at hand, thank you for exceptional and loving care, Tim Crosby, your patient:-)

I came in a little after 6 in the morning for horrible back pain ( I m 21 and have never experienced anything so painful) . Got my vitals taken right away. Waited an hour to be seen by a doctor who said he could not help me. He refused to do an X-Ray, MRI, anything that could help me. He gave me pain pills and sent me on my way. I wasn t looking for temporary pain relief, I was looking for the underlying problem and help to fix it. I m not sure if it was just the doctor that was bad or the ER in general, but next time I will drive all the way to Nashville to get help before I go back.
