Ive been here 8 days and Im recently widowed with lung disease, COPD, Anemia, Leukemia, and now being tested for cancer in my lung. Staff is UNFRIENDLY at best, I've been forgotten at meal time and alot of these tests require a day fast. One missed meal and I weak, tired, and neglected even forgotten. Now I lay watching those same feelings in my son because he is to scared or cant afford to leave his Mom. You deny a hungry patient and her son who she is finely tuned to car for now I feel robbed violated and in the hands of the serpent. not even the trays i paid for but fasted from could u pass on instead it went in trash. I have insurance. I paid my taxes. Why No compassion. No empathy. One basic need in the richest nation on earth in what is suppose to be the safest place in the city for a person waiting on a potentially fatal prognoses. Now make me watch my only son go hungry for 3 days now. He says he just wants to be here for me and i love him for that. With such power to make a difference but to make it no easier and cause struggle, hunger and difficulty is inethical and immoral. Shame on you! The only reason a patient should be refused anything should be for safety and wellbeing. "We are so limited to what we have on floor becauae we have no one to go down and get more" IS NOT AN ADEQUATE REASON OR EXCUSE to allow a person to starve for lack or money, insurace, or an arm band! This is despicable behavior!

My son was seen and had the test results back for the flu within 45 minutes. They answered all of my questions without making me feel trivial. I felt relieved and reassured when we left. And I was able to get my sick baby back home to bed in a reasonable amount of time. Thanks!

Went to Tennova ER twice within a 5 day period for the same symptoms. I was having severe migraines,
unable to eat or drink because it would come back up and stiffness in my neck and back. First time (8/29/2018) no tests were done, they touched my head and neck and said it was a sinusitis and meningitis had not set in. Was put on IV and given pain meds. Went in the second time (9/2/2018) because symptoms were getting worse and waited in the ER waiting room for 4 hours before being called back. A CAT scan was done, put on IV and given pain meds. My fiance asked on multiple occasions to test for meningitis. His request went ignored. On 9/7/2018 we ended up in an ER in another state mostly for the same symptoms but it had escalated to unresponsiveness and body convulsing. That ER done a CAT scan, MRI, EKG and spinal tap. They found out that I did in fact have viral meningitis. I was admitted for 3 days and released with an antibiotic, pain and nausea meds. After following up with my PCP, he said I was lucky. I reached out to the Tennova ER requesting my $200 copay per visit (I was told you have to pay or you can't leave) to be refunded for misdiagnosis. Offered to give them all the paperwork from the out of state hospital showing tests that were done, meds that were given and diagnosis, they refused the paperwork. They have denied me this and state they took the appropriate actions. Still waiting for Dr Troy Harris to call me back. If I could give zero stars I would. Not even worth the 1 star given.

I was scheduled for urgent heart catheterization. The admitting dept refused to finalize process till a significant payment of my part of the bill after insurance coverage was made. I carry no credit cards. I was left thinking, "Do I not pay and die because because of the refusal? I was able to use vital funds to put down $200 deposit. Then was told not enough. The clerk had to get "special permission" to allow processing to continue". That stress caused another chest pain episode and ER visit! What happens to patients without insurance? I felt my life or quality of life was less important and Tennova's profit.

Going to Gateway would not be a problem if it were not for the registration process. Every time I go there I have to registrar no matter the reason and it takes forever. Last time I was there I waited for almost two hours just to go to my appointment and wait again for almost an hour. The doctors and nurses are super nice, but the registration process makes me want to avoid the hospital at all costs. better off just taking the time to go to Vanderbilt and avoid this place at all cost.

If I could give this hospital no stars I would. The horrific thing that done to my family doesn't deserve any stars. They won't even respond to my request for explanation in writing. Just know that if you lose a love one at this location beware, get to the hospital immediately that's all I'll say. I pray they also sleep well at night knowing how they treated my sister. Update: I recieved a sorry excuse of what they call an apology for what the did to my sister. Take this as a warning if you can make it to the next available hospital I would do it. I have so much anxiety till I am losing ground. I would have rather you not even answer me with the excuse you wrote. I pray your staff that interacted with my sister continue to sleep well at night.

I was seen at the wound care center and was greeted at the front by a smiling face belonging to the wonderful office coordinator, Marcey. I was then quickly taken to a treatment room where I was seen by Dr Valentini. (Great doctor)
I was treated like I was the only patient in the waiting room, and was assisted with my paperwork due to location of my wound.
Over the next several visits I felt like the staff had taken me into their "family." As I continued my visits I realized the impact that this center has on our local community, they truly improve the quality of life for so many!
I hate going to the hospital however the entire staff at the wound care center made my healing process as painless as possible.
Thanks guys for providing such a valuable service. You are true Hero's!

my wife had a procedure done. Dr. Bush is a great! We hope she stays here for a long time. The staff in Same day surgery and Endo were awesome. They work very hard to keep patients comfortable and informed.
Thank you

If there was a way to leave a 0 star review, I would. My son had 3 seizures in one day. He was taken by ambulance to the main Tennova ER where they kept him for about 3 hours and sent him home with a prescription. He had another seizure in route to the pharmacy and was taken to exit 11 where he was kept about an hour and told to take the prescription and there was nothing else they could do. Before we got home, he had the 3rd seizure even after taking the prescription. The EMT s told us they couldn t take him to Nashville so we took him to Skyline where they kept him for 8 days and treated him. I DO NOT trust Tennova at all.

I despise going to this hospital. I always seem to be waiting in the waiting room for no less than 3 hours before I'm ever seen. Plus, this is the hospital that misdiagnosed my baby, I was told he had a fever and rash when in actuality, he had a rare immune system disease and almost died. I would never suggest this hospital to anyone. If you're dying, you will for sure there. Worse hospital ever!!!!!!!!!!

There seems to be a lot of negative reviews regarding this hospital and some may be true, but my visit was pretty great overall. Everyone was nice and helpful and I truly felt I was in good hands.

The only negative is the emergency room is probably the worst I have been to in my life. Extremely slow service, uncomfortable beds, doctors and nurses seem to be hanging around the nurses station an awful lot and never looking busy and it wasn t clean at all.

Under staffed and uneducated. The most horrible experience I could have ever imagined. It felt like a place where homeless people take refuge from the bad weather. The staff tells you every 2 hours that they are cleaning rooms and you will be the next to be seen while you watch people that got there after you with lesser issues go before you. The only reason why I know their issues were not important is because there is absolutely no privacy to tell the front desk what your issue is unless you want to scream it across the room trying to talk through the glass wall. If you are having an emergency drive the extra hour to Nashville because it will still be faster than going here. The people with flu like symptoms aren't required to wear masks to help prevent spreading germs to people with non contagious emergencies. I could write a book on how terrible this experience was.

I have seen horrible reviews from Gateway but I have always had great experiences there! I have been seen in the ER as well as my daughter. They have always been very attentive and relatively fast. I think many people go to the ER for non emergent issues and then complain about having to wait. Obviously in an EMERGENCY ROOM, emergency situations are going to come before a cough/cold. I'm sure there have been mistakes made but my personal experience has been nothing but positive.

I didn't even want to give a star!!!! Pathetic Hospital you come in there hurting it's a possibility you'll sit there for 8hrs til they see you&you want be in pain anymore!!!!!!! Best bet is to go to Nashville

My daughter came thru the ER by ambulance once there they had staff coming an asking us about who done what they would forget some of things wasn't sure who done what mistakes were made even our discharge papers were wrong i singed another person's papers receptionist caught as we was trying to leave j went on January 30th to ER an waited three hours an went on left an went exit eleven tennova other emergency room an was seen right away and lot more professional it's rediculous how they care is at the old one yes same service as when they was Gateway medical

Had to take my wife to the ER on March 19th for what we thought was the flu. We ended up being seen in just a few mins before they took her to the back and began running there test and it ended up being double pneumonia. They immediately put her on life support, a ventilator and took her up to the 2nd floor which is intensive care. She was put to sleep before they connected
Her to the vent. She ended up being on the ventilator and asleep for 8 days, which is a long time to be on a vent.
Anyway the nursing staff were all very nice and helpful, of course there are all ways 1 or 2 nurses that seen a bit impatient. But over all I'd give them a 10 out of 10. The Dr. wasn't in the room for very long but he ordered and adjusted all the meds she needed and briefly let us know what was going on.
I don't understand all the negative comments, but most seem to be due to the long wait in the ER. I'm sure everyone realizes that patients are seen based on need, not first come first serve. I know the feeling very well as I've waited for hours before. As mentioned above there are also allot of people that go to the ER for things that are not emergencies. I'd guess because many do not have a regular Dr. so they have to go there to be seen at all.

I just wanted to say that I found that our Visit all over-all was excellent, about the best I've ever received. Even the food that the patients received was very good, can't say that about any other hospital we have visited. The cafeteria food on the other hand was not very good at all, except for the food served I from the Grill section.

I would recommend this hospital to anyone!

I only gaive 1 star do to the fact 1 of the nurse's were some what nice## my husband has an on going illness. Today 911 came to pick him up. When i got to his rm he was laying sideways in his bed!! No one bothered to help him sit up and give him a pillow!! It gets better...a PA not a Dr. Made a decision not to treat him. My husband has been in and out of hospital's many many times..yet a PA not a Dr made the call not to transport to Nashville to infectious disease where my husband go's alot!! The PA did nothing for. This man except over talked me and said he was done and that was enough exclaiming him self !!! If a real Dr had seen my husband he would of answered all my question and would of cared how i felt and my husband felt. This PA said he didn't have to explain it again!!!### This PA name is Sean Bray. What a waste!!! My husband has alot if issue's most of all pain. The PA made us feel like we were drug addicts. The PA should read a little more closer and taken the time to go over my husbands records!!! Again the PA made us feel like like a no body!! Please next time people need a real Dr to go over any and everything discharge. Please remove him from the ER and let him collect waste!!!!!!!!!

Been sitting here for almost 4 hours now. I came in for an x-ray for my back because I'm afraid I messed it up (I had a compression brake from a bad carwreck a year ago) and they told me it would take 1 hour for my results. Well 3 hours later and nothing.. they couldn't get me a room . I've been sitting in a chair in the waiting room the entire time. Even when given a shot. It's not very busy and this is RIDICULOUS. I'm about to just walk out without the results and script and just go home.

My experiences here have not been pleasant overall. Most recently I had a procedure that needed to be done. I had an emergency come up and wanted to contact the department as I was scheduled to be in at 5AM and due to an emergency at work would not be able to make it. Patricia that answered my called did nothing to help me contact the department to inform them of my situation. She just kept telling me to call back at 8 to reschedule. It was very frustrating but I should not have expected anything less. Tennova please do better. Clarksville is a great town and deserves better than this.

P.S. This was the last straw. My family and I will never use this hospital again.

Absolutely HORRIBLE! I have been standing and waiting to check in for a sleep study for 30 minutes. Only one person in front of me, and l don't know how long they have been here. Poor clerk is checking in outpatients and checking out E.R. patients at the same time. She states that only 2 outpatients are scheduled per night so it doesn't justify hiring another person and that is why the out patients are told to come in early. That makes no sense at all! Totally ridiculous!!

My son broke his forearm, it was bent in half. Spent 6 hours there while they fixed it. We went to get it casted the next day and when they took x-rays we found it was not even close to set straight. They put him under again and reworked what Tenova did. Another 6 hours later his arm is straight. Horrible place to go for a kid with a broken arm. Just got a bill from them today for$4564.23. They submitted a claim to my insurance provider with the wrong social security number. I spent a lot of time on the phone today fixing their screw up, which they shouldn't even be paid for!

If you like crying in misery alone in a dirty ER waiting room floor like an idiot in front of god and everyone else for 4 or 5 hours until you can pass your own kidney stone, this is the place for you! Told them I was leaving because the stone had passed and they said "oh we have a room now". No thanks. Also got to hear the charge nurse yell at another nurse for "walking too fast" while transferring gunshot victim in a wheelchair from the front door to the back.

I wish Clarksville had another better hospital. The service & lack of compassion is just awful. Having to go to the ER is literally a nightmare with all the suffering going on & the total disregard from the staff, it's just ridiculous. I don't know what is worst the service or the crazy amount of money they end up billing you for the terrible service.

They were very professional and had a good sense of humor.
Thanks for the opportunity to feedback.

Don't have your baby here!!! Avoid this hospital at all cost. I was overdue and scheduled for an induction. We arrived at the hospital 30 mins early as told and went straight to the delivery floor. I told the receptionist my name and appointment time, but she immediately cuts me off and tells me we have to register... So we go back to registration which took over an hour, to go back to delivery for my OB to tell me I was late and she called ahead to pregister me the day she schedule my induction. No one apologized and made me look like the bad person. After that disaster everything went fine... until it was time for my epidural that was pretty much forced on me, but the anesthesiologist doctor female who's last name started with a K, seemed overly confident in her work poked me in my back twice, and hit a nerve in my spine. The worse pain I've ever felt in my life. As I sat there crying and screaming, I had to tell her to stop and I refused the epidural. Can you believe this women told my OB doctor that she couldn't get the needle inplace because I wouldn't stop moving! This was my 3rd child, not my first rodeo and that left me livid and prior to deliveryl we planned delayed cord clamping, OB didn't listen and cut the cord immediately after birth. The most awful birth experience I've had was here at Tennova and If I could go back in time. I swear If I was dilated to 10, I would risk giving birth in the car and drive to Nashville. *excuse any typos

The staff that interacts with you most (Desk, Nurses, Security) are quite kind even when busy ER times. Some doctors though we're beyond rude. You should not be able to over hear a doctor say multiple times "good that it hurts" to coworkers about someone screaming in pain in a different room. Was placed in two different rooms, and both were shockingly dirty especially for a medical facility.

Only thing I waited for was test results! My experience here was almost pleasant but for my pain. Nurse, doc, techs, front staff and the rest, were not only professional but sweet and seemed to genuinely care and LISTEN. It was also clean. Highly recommend!!

I went there for a prescription refill as I am on the road traveling for Work. I needed 7 prescriptions filled they filled 3. After I paid I realized they gave me the wrong prescriptions I needed the injection pens for my insulin. They said they dont write prescriptions for them. IF I HAD KNOW THAT I WOULDN'T HAVE GONE THERE AND I HAD PAID MY 100. FOR MY DEDUCTIBLE WHICH I WILL BE CONTESTING.
I WAS SO MAD I RIPPED UP ALL 3 PRESCRIPTIONS AND TOLD THEM WHERE TO GO.
WHAT KIND OF LOSER HOSPITAL IS THIS...I REFUSE TO PAY THIS BILL. WHOEVER HEARD IF A HOSPITAL THAT CAN'T WRITE A PRESCRIPTION FOR INSULIN PENS WTF. THATS BS. F THIS HOSPITAL AND ITS OWNERS

I just got a response back THAT WE ARE SORRY. IF YOU WERE SORRY YOU WOULD RECTIFY THE SITUATION BY HAVING YOUR DOCTOR WRITE THE CORRECT PRESCRIPTION FOR MY INSULIN. FOR THE INJECTION PENS.
I HAVE NEVER EVER HELD A NEEDLE NOR DO I PLAN ON STARTING, I HAVE INSURANCE AND THEY ARE NOT PAYING FOR MY INSULIN. IS THIS A REAL HOSPITAL OR A PRETEND HOSPITAL.. THIS IS A PATHETIC STATE AND A PATHETIC HOSPITAL...DONT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL...
ITS A JOKE .....

My mother is 93 years old and been there since 6 AM this morning. Her blood pressure has stayed way below 100 and at several points down to 50/30. She is still in the emergency room with no room, no IVs running because they cannot get a vein and they have not run a central line yet. We have photos of the day and both the nurse and doctor lied on the phone regarding her status. They have come out in the ratings as the top 10 hospital for mortality rates in the ER, I do not wonder why now! Think about that again, top 10 in the nation for deaths in the ER.

Tennova is literally the definition of inefficiency. Every experience is as equally as disappointing as the last. If there were any competition for this joke of a hospital in Clarksville, this place would be empty.

The nursing staff were great. Went above to help in anyway they could. The doctors were not. They were curt and no time for patient. They got offended if asked questions beyond what they wanted to say. I feel I was sent home from icu step down unit before I was ready to leave and told I could wait at home for lung biopsy results as well as sit in the hospital waiting on them. Each night my vitals dropped but by day they stayed normal although this was not addressed before I was discharged. I was put NPO 2 nights in a row then told after noon both days when I sat quietly waiting for procedure that I wasn t getting it. I had a doctor tell me he was to busy and what did I want when I asked to speak with him about procedure. I tried to show where I am swollen from ankles to my hips before discharge and doctor said it s nothing.
So now here I am 24 hrs later still sitting at home waiting on a call that may or may not come that may or may not be life changing. And mind you this all comes after a doctor tells me my first night admitted I have lung cancer. And the last doctor tells me to follow up with an oncologist after I get my biopsy results.

I twisted my knee and after a couple days the swelling and pain increased to a point where I knew that a trip to the ER was necessary.I had no problem with the wait or with any of the nurses or staff being rude however when your knee is swollen up fat and you have a pain level of 8(no exaggeration),you would think that they would give you a steroid injection and a prescription for something other than Ibuprofen.I realize there is an opiode epidemic but I have Osteo Degenerative Arthritis with 90% torn Achilles tendon,75% torn bicep with 25% tears on my right side and I'm discharged with a nice pair of crutches, knee support brace and an order to see an orthopedic Dr in a week if things don't improve. My mother was a RN for over 30 years God bless her I'm just thankful she never worked in a hospital as in compassionate as this one.Now I have lost sleep due to uncomfortably and pain and I feel there unwillingness to prescribe adequate pain medication shows total unprofessionalism that must change.Shame on them.

My husband sat in the ER for 11 hours and had all kinds of tests done to be told they didn't know what was wrong with him and sent him on his way. So I'm going to get billed for what exactly? Complete waste of time to even go here.

Although I received excellent service at their ER, I was very disappointed to find out that NONE of their ER Doctors are covered under medical insurance. The Hospital is, but not the doctors, so I had to pay a very hefty doctor bill for 5 minutes of his time.

The labor and delivery unit are amazing. I had the best nurses in the world! Even my baby had the best nurses. Sue Lee and Janie in postpartum we're awesome. my delivery nurse was amazing even though I forgot her name. The nurses for my baby or exceptional especially Kaitlyn (not sure how to spell her name). They were very awesome and nice and I loved being there even though I was ready to go home. I will go back there for baby number two.... eventually. Lol

Absolutely love the Breast Center. Had a problem a few years ago and they were so caring. Called today to schedule but because I have changed doctors and see a doctor in Nashville, the scheduler, who I waited on hold for 7 minutes for couldn't schedule. Seems odd that I couldn't sign a ROI or that the scheduler would not even try to problem solve. I will just take this business to Nashville as well.

This place is horrible. Please don't waste your time. You will be waiting for hours in waiting room. I got mad waiting for 6hrs so I left I went to northcrest in Springfield. As soon as I signed in I was on my way to a bed. Spent 3hrs there after the ran blood work and xray.

I thought that when Gateway became Tennova Clarksville that things would get better..... Wrong! They got worse. My wife came in via ems and they stuck her in the waiting room without any fluids or pain meds or anything. We've been waiting out here over an hour. So help me if this turns out bad!

Yesterday I had a sudden pain in my head that brought on dizziness, blurred vision, nausea, and muscle spasms. Was checked on post and they sent me to Tennova for a CT Scan. Dr at Tennova said for best results I needed to be seen within 4 hours of pain starting. Was released and told to come back if it happened again. Today the pain came back with all the same symptoms, so I went back to Tennova figuring they already have stuff on file and proper equipment. Spent over 4 hours in the waiting room and still haven't been taken back.

Sadly, zero stars is not an option. After having my great uncle transported to this hospital via ambulance from a local nursing home after being found unconscious by us when we went to visit yesterday, we were very displeased with the quality of professionalism. The nursing home staff stated his oxygen level was low, they heard fluid in his lungs, and he was having difficulty communicating when he arrived at this hospital. He has had numerous medical problems in the past including a stroke. When he was disoriented, did not recognize family members, was very difficult to awaken, having trouble breathing, and unable to respond other than nodding, our family and the nursing home staff felt something was seriously wrong. According to Tennova, he was completely healthy. When we asked if he would be kept for observation since his condition had improved but he had no memory of the hours leading up to the ambulance ride, the doctor informed us, "He is fine. What? Do you want him to be sicker than what he is? Nursing homes exaggerate problems and I'm sending him back." No. Obviously we do not want him to be sick, we would just like an explanation as to why he was unconscious and very difficult to wake up, why there was fluid in his lungs, why he had no memory of what had taken place, and why his oxygen level was low when three hours prior he was fine. Meeting patients and their families with snide remarks, rudeness, and dismissiveness is unacceptable. Obviously the name change was only to save face because of Gateway's horrible reputation not to improve patient care. Unfortunately, coming via ambulance from this nursing home, we had no choice but to use this horrible excuse for an emergency room. We will be visiting another hospital where doctors care about their patients well being and addressing the patient's family's concerns. We will be seeking a second opinion.

Every time I get sick I try my busy to get better by myself. 1 time I went there I was so sick I couldn't even see and I put it on everything I love it took them 9 hrs just to release me and told me nothing was wrong. Told me it was my allergys. Now I don't know about you but allergys don't cause you blindness. I know a lady that went there because we had a painful swollen neck and because she've had cancer before and know the signs she asked they to check. They called her back n told her she didn't have cancer vanderbuilt all the way n Nashville called her back and told her to get there as soon as possible because it was cancer. I feel like people is just be coming nurses and doctors now just to have a career but not because that is really what they want to do.

I'm not sure how to address this, so this will have to do in the meantime....

My mother had a stroke onroute to the hospital. I arrived and waited for someone to give me information on her condition. As I waited, one of her friends greeted me in the waiting room. We spoke as we awaited someone to come to speak with us.

I understand medical professionals are at hard work trying to save lives and are busy with such works.

What I didn't understand was when the time came, the woman working the desk that night called for anyone that could come to speak with doctors about my mother and give them information.

I sprang up and came to her, saying I was her son. For whatever amazing and inexplicable reason, the woman let my mother's friend in INSTEAD of me.

I obviously objected, and was allowed to see her. The woman they let in was giving the doctors incorrect information and was interfering in a very personal family matter.... My mother's last moments.

This level of incompetents is inexcusable. It wasn't until I explained to them that the woman claiming to be my mother's friend, could have been a demented stranger for all I knew, as I had never met her before that moment....

Why would anyone allow a patient's friend to see them rather than a blood relative?

This is something that CANNOT continue to happen.

My friend was in the maternity ward, and we were on skype, while I was having problems with my daughters breathing and reflux like activities. The medications they gave her made her worse. and the rice only helped a little bit. We have been dealing with this since she was born. So the nurse came in and my friend explain this all and asked her what she thinks. She told me to try a soy formula and watch her closely. It has been 12 hours and the change in my baby since starting the soy is amazing. Her color has returned she is no longer spitting up or puking, she seems a lot happier. No longer have moments of gasping and being unable to breath. After 3 months, and tons of hospitals and doctors visit one maternity ward nurse was able to help. It is amazing that I wasn't even a patient there and even live all the way in New Jersey. I would love to meet that nurse and hug her, because my daughter was getting so bad with her breathing We were scared she wouldn't make it through the night. All over a simple formula change.

Unless you have full coverage insurance, giving birth, or dying you're better off going somewhere else! These people have sued the pants off of our family due to unpaid bills, tried to garnish wages for a bill that was paid, and in some cases sent medical bills to debt collectors within a week of going to the hospital!
I went there several times due to severe stomach pain, they did the same tests 3 times, sent me home saying it was a bug only to find out later I had gallstones! Could have saved me tons of money and time and pain if they would have just ultrasound my gallbladder!
Sorry, I'll go to Ashland City next time, better there and know they aren't going to put in through court to get their money.

This place sucks every time that my family or my self have been there it has been at least 3 to 5 or more hours just waiting in the emergency room to be seen HELL one time I personally came here they billed me for the paper that the bill was onone time they billed me a transportation fee for pushing me from my hospital room to the xray they can stick it it's quicker to make the drive to Nashville get there seen and home before being seen at this place

Tennova Healthcare is the best!

Tennova Healthcare is the best!
My wife suffered a fall and broken humerus and her experience in the Emergency Room was perfect. Transported by our County EMS First Responders, she was treated carefully, professionally, and lovingly. Within three hours she had been X-rayed, received a splint based on the orthopedist's directions, and we were on our way to the pharmacy for painkillers. Kind, personable, and efficient are terms to describe every person we encountered in the ER.

Ten days later we were back for reconstructive surgery which required an overnight stay. Again, everything was exceptional and all staff we encountered not only knew their job, but provided exceptional personal care.

Tennova Healthcare has a fantastic joint replacement program. You begin with a one hour class delivered by an orthopedic surgeon, which includes a free lunch! All aspects are explained and the benefits and risks of joint replacement are discussed.

When Tennessee Orthopedic Alliance, Clarksville scheduled me for surgery a pre-operative visit was scheduled. Two weeks before my surgery I attended another class on joint replacement and received all of my pre-admission tests and required documentation. I left Tennova that day with a special card that verified my admission, a nice tote bag, and a manual about total hip replacements.

On 1 July I had a total hip replacement at Tennova. I chose Tennova based on my wife's experience and it's rating as one of the safest surgical units in Middle Tennessee. It has now been nine weeks since surgery and my recovery has been remarkable! When I awoke from my morning surgery about 2 pm on 1 July I was comfortable in my hospital bed in the "joint replacement ward."

At 4 pm, Gina, a hospital Physical Therapist, visited me and helped me to my feet with the aid of my walker. We walked the halls for several minutes before returning to my room. Nursing care was excellent and I rested well during the night. My wife was so confident that I would receive great care, she went home. The next morning Marissa, another Physical Therapist visited me and we discussed my condition. She too helped me walk using my walker. She led a morning group PT session with two other patients who had received knee replacements. We worked together and repeated the session that afternoon.

I was released by 3 pm, less than 32 hours since my admission!

Since then I have had no need to return to Tennova, a testament to their exemplary care. Tennova Healthcare has followed up by texting me regularly to check on my condition as I recovered. This follow-up was unexpected, but most reassuring.

I recommend Tennova Healthcare with enthusiasm for any medical needs!

This place and staff SUCKS. My father has been in & out of place twice within the past week. He's still there. Worse know then when first admitted. Your lucky if "a" doctor comes around once a day. The nursing staff is unempowered to do much of anything.
He complains of constant nausea and pains in his abdomen. He's know more than a science experiment. What a freaking joke. Goung to move him to Nashville. Tennova Clarksville is nothing less than a triage for a first aide station.

My grandmother has spent a lot of time in this hospital. The number of rude employees I have encountered is astounding. Also, she once went to the hospital because she and the people around her felt she was having a stroke and they sent her home without running a single test and told her she was not having one. She came back a couple hours later and was transferred to Skyline and was told she had had 2 strokes. That is unacceptable.

I was very impressed with Tennova. I was there for an X-ray. Every single person was so sweet and nice from the info center registration and X-ray tech. They all were eager to help. Thank you so much.

Great hospital!!

Great hospital!!

I went to the ER expecting, I don't know, the most horrible hospital and treatment in the world. But thanks to God that wasn't the case. I was treated like a queen. From the beginning go the end. So great job Tennova!!

I had a procedure done a week ago and received excellent service from the time I walked in until I left. I have my reservations concerning Tennova and almost backed out but my confidence and faith is a little stronger now. Thank you for a pleasant experience.

Wish I could post a picture of my 1 year old sitting in the waiting room for over 2 hours. She was having complications breathing and it gave us quite a scare. The staff here does not seem to care. By the look of the reviews of this hospital, you can see that whoever is in charge here won t be for long.

Ha. I even read the reviews on this hospital and thought, it can't be that bad. Plus it's the only hospital I know of in clarksville. Worst emergency staff ever! The nurse who asked me why I came in for, RUDE. Nurse 2 was pretty nice and quick to get me out the room. Insurance lady, the rudest, telling me "I need to learn my husband ssn" Once I got back to my own room, I didn't even get to see the doctor at all just nurse 3 to tell me what I got, which I told them already what it could be ( I felt like I had to tell them what I had ) Nurse 3 gave me the prescription and left. I didn't even get any fluids or any medication to get my pain to go away.

-bad service
-rude staff
They need to learn some dam hospitality.

I was seen in the Emergency Room last night after having some problems from a back injection for chronic back pain. I was numb from the waist down for over four and a half hours. The pain clinic took me to the E.R because they were all going home. I received excellent care and a through exam from Dr Huff, he really checked me over and put my mind at ease explaining what was going on and my reflexes were good. Being a Nurse myself I had a good idea but was concerned after it not wearing off in two hours. Everyone was so nice and caring, I wanted for nothing. The place was spotless, it was hot but with this weather every where is hot. I am very happy with my care

Majority of the staff is ignorant! I brought my son in because he was complaining of chest pain. After a couple hours later, they finally got to us. Put us in a room and didn t tell the doctor where we were. They completely forgot about us! My son was having chest pain! He s only 8!

I had an emergency room visit with chest pain. ER staff was lightning fast in getting me checked out, and tested. The cardiologist was with me quickly and explained what was happening. I was in surgery within 90 minutes of walking in. Doc was amazing, knowledgeable and had me stabilized after 3 hours of surgery. Follow up care and recovery in the hospital was stellar. ICU nurses were also very knowledgeable and empowered by the system and the attending physician to make decisions. It was a great thing to see. I'm able to write this thanks to those folks. But for food services struggling to meet my medically mandated diet, the experience, as bad as it was, couldn't have been better. Clarksville is very lucky to have such great services. They're real people who understand more than charts and test results. They're helpful, compassionate and understanding.

After giving birth to my son tricare put me to have me and my sons appointments at gateway i never gave birth to my son here he was born at the blanch field hospital on post. It was good when it came to my sons check ups but horrible when it came to me and my appointments. Needed a update on my birth control I was on the depo shot and it was due to expire in two weeks they told me I could come as a walk in for stuff like that so I did and the very rude nurse told me they couldn't give me a update on my shot because blanchfield didn't put a refill for me to have another shot and because me and my sons doctor was on maternity leave they couldn't do anything about it till I could be seen by a doctor to say if it was okay for me to have that. I said okay but then I got annoyed when they booked me for a appointment for a month later. A month later I go and they say oh they can't do it today because the pharmacy is down. So I come another time and they say no we can't do it today because of this or that finally I said know what this is ridiculous I been denied birth control more than numerous times me and my son are never coming again. So glad I did I changed me and my sons doctor and place there so much faster and polite. And by my second appointment they gave me my birthcontrol. Don't come here horrible and waist of your time.
