Had to take my wife to the ER on March 19th for what we thought was the flu. We ended up being seen in just a few mins before they took her to the back and began running there test and it ended up being double pneumonia. They immediately put her on life support, a ventilator and took her up to the 2nd floor which is intensive care. She was put to sleep before they connected
Her to the vent. She ended up being on the ventilator and asleep for 8 days, which is a long time to be on a vent.
Anyway the nursing staff were all very nice and helpful, of course there are all ways 1 or 2 nurses that seen a bit impatient. But over all I'd give them a 10 out of 10. The Dr. wasn't in the room for very long but he ordered and adjusted all the meds she needed and briefly let us know what was going on.
I don't understand all the negative comments, but most seem to be due to the long wait in the ER. I'm sure everyone realizes that patients are seen based on need, not first come first serve. I know the feeling very well as I've waited for hours before. As mentioned above there are also allot of people that go to the ER for things that are not emergencies. I'd guess because many do not have a regular Dr. so they have to go there to be seen at all.

I just wanted to say that I found that our Visit all over-all was excellent, about the best I've ever received. Even the food that the patients received was very good, can't say that about any other hospital we have visited. The cafeteria food on the other hand was not very good at all, except for the food served I from the Grill section.

I would recommend this hospital to anyone!
