The property i am speaking of is A Wonderful P...

The property i am speaking of is A Wonderful Place . I would call it A Supposes Wonderful Place . The house looks beautiful in pictures......Very Poor Upkeep!!! 4 bathrooms, but only 1 person can shower at a time. If not, the other 3 showers literally have a trickle of water coming out, if any at all. None of the doors(inside or out) close or lock properly in the house. All the sliding glass doors are off track. The hot tub cover is broke and takes at least 3 people to lift it. Out back of the house is very poorly kept. The patio is filthy, covered in leaves and spider webs. On top of that, you have to strip beds, bag up the towels and take out all the trash for the house cleaning. So why do I have to pay extra for a cleaning fee when I m doing half the job? Extra pillows but no extra pillow cases. Lights are ran off extension cords. House is completely outdated. Box style TVs in only 3 of the 5 rooms. Not what I imagined for $2100 for 3 days. And then could not check in till 5pm and had to be out by 9am. Seems to me the money they charge is not being put back into the place. It s being used to get rich. I give this experience 1 star and will be placing google reviews and contacting the better business bureau. This vacation was taken just to get our family out of the house and we did not want a repairman in the rental house due to Covid-19.

Taylor-Made does a great job managing vacation homes in the Deep Creek area and does everything to help you and your guests enjoy your time. We've had such a great experience the last few times that we are starting to work with their sales team to find a property of our own!

When we arrived at Viewtopia, I had a problem with my entry code and it was was handled immediately. Taylor-Made was on the ball about fixing a kitchen drawer that was missing a screw. The house was spacious and the view was spectacular! I recommend this house and business for vacation rentals.

Review of Utopia

Review of Utopia
248 Marsh Hill Road
McHenry, Maryland
October 16-21, 2018
On April 3, 2018, I booked a reservation with Taylor-Made for a townhouse with an arrival date of October 16, 2018. Upon booking this reservation, I received numerous emails prior to my arrival updating me on my reservation, making charges to my credit card, and offering information regarding things to do in the area. When members of my family arrived at the unit on the day of check in at 4:01 PM, they were shocked to find that the place had not been cleaned. There were dirty sheets and bath towels in the bedrooms and bathrooms, and the kitchen was a mess. I called the Taylor-Made office immediately, and they said they would send someone to clean. Two ladies arrived and attempted to clean this 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom house in one hour. My family awkwardly waited for them to clean, as they had nowhere to go, and were exhausted from traveling all day to make the 4 PM check in. They also found to their dismay, a swarm of bees in the master bedroom. This was pointed out to them initially by the cleaning ladies. They called to have someone come and spray for the bees, and again, they were inconvenienced. Someone from Taylor-Made was supposed to contact them the following day to make sure everything had been taken care of, but that never happened. Although I had not yet arrived at the unit, I called Taylor-Made the next day to follow up and make sure there had been a resolution to these problems, and was told I should speak with "Chris", but that she was unavailable. I stated that I would call her again at 3 PM and in addition, I left a voicemail for her stating the same. When I called back, I was told that she was "very busy" and that she would be leaving at 3:30. Needless to say, I did not speak with her that day. When I arrived at the townhouse, I found the place was not what I had expected as per the website pictures and descriptions. The website advertised a king size bed and 2 queen beds; however, there was only one queen bed and one full size bed, in addition to the king. The place looked outdated and well used. There were marks on the walls, and significant stains on the carpet in the master bedroom. There was exposed wiring in the laundry area downstairs. AND the bees remained! I made a trip to the Taylor-Made office, where I found the staff members busily decorating their new state of the art office building, which may explain why the place I rented was not ready for my arrival. I was finally able to speak with Chris. She listened as I explained, in a very respectful and professional manner, how very disappointed I was. However, she was initially unwilling to make any accommodations for our inconvenience. Eventually, she agreed to refund me in the amount of $100.00. I have not yet received any type of refund, and am not sure how that will take place.
I most likely would not have taken time to write this review if the office staff at Taylor-Made had shown even the slightest bit of concern for our situation. They were very matter of fact, and did only the minimal necessary to take care of their negligence. We live in a resort area of Florida, and have a true understanding and appreciation of the importance of tourism, especially in an area such as Deep Creek Lake. In my area, we look forward to providing a destination for families to enjoy, and return to time and time again. AND, despite this unfortunate circumstance with Taylor-Made, we will most likely return to Deep Creek Lake at some time in the future; as we have indeed had many wonderful times there in the past. It is my hope that Taylor-Made will take time to reflect on my review, and quite possibly seek ways to improve their customer service, in hopes of making all visitors feel that their vacation enjoyment is a top priority to the folks at Taylor-Made.

I did a "Cousins" vacation at "It's All Good" and the house was amazing. The house had everything we needed and more. The hot tub and the grill was great to use. They only problem we had was that it was only one jacuzzi in one room so of course we all was trying to have that room lol. Overall it was more then we expected & I will be back soon for a family trip with my husband and children.

We had a fabulous weekend at the Lakestar Chalet! The house was immaculate and well stocked with everything we needed. We particularly enjoyed that it was such a relaxing vibe as the house is off the lake so it really quiet and peaceful. The master bedroom was amazing with a comfy king bed, gas fireplace and amazing bathroom with a soaking tub and rain forest shower. Lots of places to just chill out - in the living room, front deck or just hanging out at the firepit. There were a couple of minor technical things we had to reach our to the weekend staff and they were taken care of immediately, We truly enjoyed our get away and can't wait to return to Deep Creek Lake!

We stayed at Highlands. There were 8 of us and some were avid pool players. A bit disappointed at the condition of the pool table. We also didn't have heat in the lower level of the house. (fireplace wasn't working on that level either). The bathroom in the master overflowed on us twice. I will say when we phoned in about the heat- they were quick to respond and fixed the fireplace. They also provided space heaters as a backup. (although for nearly $1800 for a three night stay I did expect a bit more than space heaters and shabby pool table) The view was amazing and the house was very clean. Beds were very comfortable. We made the best of it and enjoyed ourselves overall.

I am writing a poor review and we have not even arrived yet!!!! We booked a 3 night stay for December 27th - 30th and opted to include the trip insurance, especially given the uncertainty of COVID. When I received my contract, despite choosing travel insurance, it was not added to the contract and I was told I didn't have it. This was very alarming to me considering if anyone in our party happened to get sick, we would be out almost $5K. When asked them to add it because it was their error, the first response was - you weren't charged for it. After 1 month of emailing several times a week to try and get it added, they came back today and charged me full price to add the insurance. No ownership or accountability on their end for the mistake and the endless amount of time I spent trying to get it corrected.

Now I am reading the reviews from the last month and they have been horrible - flooded with poor reviews about the cleanliness of the properties and the lack of maintenance. I am truly hoping they are able to turn this around and I can update this review but it is not looking promising.

Long story short, initial house that we rented had no water, issue with the well. Our party of 8 were forced into the home " Hidden Treasure " which was hidden, but definitely not a treasure! Hidden Treasure advertised as 4 bedroom , sleeps 8. House does have 4 bedrooms ,however, 8 people cannot fit in kitchen or living area. Kitchen was VERY small, no more than 2 people could fit comfortably. No designated family room, large furniture cluttered in main living area. Old boat outside covered with a blue tarp, and pile of bags of dirt outside near porch, covered with a plastic tarp. Black mold on shower curtain in downstairs bathroom. Taylor Made office stated no other homes available when I called office to complain. Seemed like no one from the office cared that 8 people were very uncomfortable in this small, fragmented house. Finally after much complaining on my part, a larger home just happened to be available the next day, which we moved to and was lovely. No sense of urgency on part of Taylor Made rental office to please the paying customer- kept saying " all rental homes are occupied " and told me I could call another rental company to find a home ??? Unacceptable.

Stayed at Harmony Retreat E. North Lake Rd. This place should not be rented!! Outside is filthy, roof, gutters, covered in thick green moss. Outside plastic chairs provided were black and beyond dirty. The list did not say to bring you own chairs if you want to sit by lake or outside at all. The inside was musty and carpet and furniture smelled musty and moldy. The dehumidifier provided sounded like a loud truck and did not remove the moisture. TV placement and few seating for 4 adults was not comfortable. Attempting to eat dinner on the outside porch was disgusting when you looked up at the skylight which was covered in dirt and moss. Loved the area and the Lake but we should get a refund!

On top of the World ... with NO HOT WATER!

On top of the World ... with NO HOT WATER!

Taylor-Made advertised a beautiful escape home called, ON TOP OF THE WORLD. The pictures give more than what you get. I gave one star because I had no choice. Nonetheless...

The home is old and has several inoperable features that are being advertised in the pictures. The only thing that was good about the house is the view. The vacationers design done to this house is flawed. The kids room with the 3 beds (with dirty linen) shown in the pictures are in what appears to once have been, the master bedroom closet, so the kids can t leave that room except through the master bedroom or through an old garage staircase in the hall of the space between these rooms. There s a door to this room but it would be like locking whoever in the room until you open it. Also there s the room with the view, The View Room which is another bedroom that is adjacent to the master bedroom and of course the master bedroom door didn t lock.

We arrived on Friday afternoon. One of the other families arrived on Saturday. The heat was inconsistent throughout the house (given the size of the house this was understandable). There were 3 families in the house and the two additional full bathrooms didn t have HOT WATER. The service number was called two times to no avail, we had to make due, so everyone had to use the master bathroom. Needless to say, the master bedroom isn t/wasn t the room for privacy.

There was a jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom that was extremely dirty. The pictures also advertised a beautiful hot tub outside with lights and an overlook of the lake... it doesn t look that way at all and the hot tub didn t work and also didn t get HOT! The entire weekend was not at all what we imagined, given the pictures that were advertised. One thing is certain, the photographer for this place, is amazing! On Monday when we checked out, I explained the issues with the house and ended up having to go back and forth with the manager about having called the service number, as if, we were okay with having no HOT WATER and the doors not locking or HOT TUB not getting hot! The GM was on site and was neither apologetic, she also contended with whether the service number was called (again as if). Bottom line DON T WASTE YOUR MONEY, unless all you care about is the view!

We came down on Valentine's Day weekend, and we had about 3 inches of snow. The wind was really bad, so we spent a good amount of the day shoveling the car out. Despite our efforts, the 4x4 jeep ended up getting stuck in the driveway. The rental company told us they did not have anyone contracted out to plow the driveway. They gave us the phone number of a towing company and said there was nothing else they could do. When I pay over $1000 for a short weekend, I expect more than what I received. After this experience, I will never rent from Taylor rentals again

Stayed at commanders quarters cabin over the weekend and had several issues. Upon arrival we had no heat, no hot water, the toilets did not flush properly, the fireplaces did not work, the pool table was missing balls, there were dishes in the dishwasher, and silverware was dirty. Not only was the water not warm but it was ice cold, unbearable to wash hands or take a shower the entire time. This company has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. After calling multiple times to speak to somebody (they did not pick up the first several times I called), I was told there was no one who could help me and they would call me back. After finally speaking with someone, I was told there was nothing they could do and they would contact me in 48 hours about a discount. It has now been well after 48 hours and I have not heard from anybody. Do not waste your time renting with this company!!

Great location. Would not recommend this townhome for family with small children; lofts, low railings, no plastic cups or provisions provided for children...basically an adult set up. Lowest level very musty with semi-repaired leak and dehumidifier constantly running; had to be emptied every 8 hours at least. Would not recommend using lower level for a sleeping situation due to this.

We rented a house for a girls weekend. We checked in at 8pm Friday night and check out was at 12 on Sunday. Saturday was the only day to enjoy the ammenties of the house. Friday night we got there and the power blew in the bedroom and bathroom. We made due with no power until Saturday morning when the company came to fix the issue. We would have turned the breaker on ourselves, had it not been locked up tight in the garage. When the company got there to turn the power on, they did not have a key to access the garage. They had to break into it....2 hours of loud noise in the house while we were trying to watch tv. We decided to get into the hot tub (the main reason we booked the house) since we couldn t hear the tv. We opened The lid and the water was so gross you couldn t see it. We told the handyman who was breaking into the garage for us and he called another person to come fix it. The other person came and had to fully drain and refill the hot tub. He left a note saying it would be ready at 530. We waited all day until 11pm for the hot tub to get hot....it didnt. Sunday morning as we were packing up the manager called and offered us late check out or a 50 dollar refund. We paid 800 for a 2 night stay. Due to responsiblities at home we couldn t stay an extra 4 hours but since the whole reason we stayed there was for the hot tub we expected more than 50 dollar refund. The manager was completely rude about the whole thing and didn t care about our inconvenience at all. I will never rent from them again....next time I will go to a diff realator.

Absolutely upset with the lack of response and communication from their customer service department. We were looking to book not one, but TWO houses for our families to get together and celebrate a wedding ceremony. We were asking for their help to source out two of their properties that were positioned together. We were told we'd receive a response, call back, etc multiple times. They simply do not follow through nor do they seem like they care about getting business or not. There are lots of other rental properties in the Deep Creek area and I highly suggest shopping around!

We stayed at Peaceful Paradise for 3 days with 3 families and had a blast, we will definitely be back this summer/fall to do it again. The staff at Taylor-Made make the rental process seemless and are very easy to work with. We got stuck in the driveway and they came out immediately to help us shovel and salt the area. Chad (owner) even called me back to make sure we got out and made it to the mountain on time to ski. These guys are professionals, don't trust your vacation in anyone else's hands.

Our organization has around 40 some girls in it, so trying to find a place to stay for our community service organizations retreat can be a hassle. We contacted Taylor Made about booking one of their larger cabins and they made us jump through hoops the entire process including making us pay a $1000 dollar damage deposit that was not originally discussed. The week before our event they ended up canceling our reservation and refunding us before even talking to our member who planned the event. Thus making us scramble to find another place before the event. They have lost over $3000 worth of business from us and any respect.

We stayed at the Serenity Now property in Deep creek Lake. The house looks beautiful, is large enough for 2 families and the layout was perfect. We arrived at the property As the cleaning lady was leaving and to say it was dirty would be an understatement. There was feces in the toilet, dust on ALL the furniture, bacon bits all over the the kitchen floor, glow sticks in the pool, dirty sheets in the trundle bed, stained comforters and dirty dishes in the dishwasher. I called to let them know and they completely brushed me off. I would never stay at one of their properties again. There are a few other big companies down here and i would definitely try them out the prices are RIDICULOUS for the quality of the homes. Really, it s not worth it.

We rented Canopy Escape for two nights in February...

We rented Canopy Escape for two nights in February. We paid extra so that we could check in early and the house still wasn't ready until after 12:00. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the stench of decomposing mice and the back door was left open, so the house was cold. There were wet stains from where mice had been caught under the sink and not checked so they rotted into the wood.

The driveway is very steep and when we arrived earlier in the morning (and were told that we couldn't get into the house) it was still unplowed. We left to ski for the afternoon without checking in, hoping that the driveway would be cleared so that access wasn't a problem. The snow was "plowed" while we were gone but about one inch of ice still coated the driveway. We slowly backed down the driveway and immediately began sliding backwards, with the wheels locked up. If we hadn't been moving slowly it could have been extraordinarily dangerous. We parked the car (a 4x4 Ford Expedition with all-weather tires) halfway up the driveway and unpacked everything for our stay, sliding up and down the icy driveway as we did so.

We immediately called customer service and told them about the stench, the open door, and the driveway. We also asked why the porches and decks hadn't been shoveled because there were 16-20" of ice and snow on them and were told "it's not something we do". Spending an hour shoveling ice and snow so that we could use a small portion of the deck wasn't something I had budgeted extra time and energy for. Still hoping to make the most of the trip, we asked for cleaning supplies (none were in the house) and extra salt to thaw the driveway. We were assured that someone was on their way to help. That was around 4:00.

Over the next five hours, we repeatedly called both customer service and the maintenance line and spoke to different individuals. We were continually assured that someone was on their way and that it would be taken care of. When we asked if Taylor Made provided haul out service (because the truck was stuck in ice) we were told to call the Department of Transportation. Helpful.

No one ever came. No more salt. No cleaning supplies. No return call. No follow up.

Instead of skiing the following day we tried to get the car out of the driveway and eventually called a tow company to pull us out. We paid the bill. We drove into town and bought 100 lbs of salt and put it down on the driveway, resolving the issue. A simple fix that required very little time if done properly.

The house, Canopy Escape, is phenomenal. It is cozy and comfortable and was exactly what we were looking for. Taylor Made is absolutely the worst management company we have ever rented through. Lack of management and customer service guarantee that we will never rent through them again and I caution anyone who is considering renting through them or giving them the management of their house.

After our stay, we followed up with both the customer service line and attempts to reach management to discuss and resolve this and didn't receive any return calls. I have never left a review, even when things were less than perfect, but wish that I had more warning about how terrible Taylor Made is to rent from. STAY AWAY AND FIND ANOTHER MANAGEMENT COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH.

Really didn't want to write this but they left me ...

Really didn't want to write this but they left me no choice. I've used Taylor Made several times and never had an issue until now, and they've done everything they can to NOT fix the issue. I stayed at Runnin Down A Dream for a weekend recently and the first night the carbon monoxide detectors went off several times. Taylor Made seems to have some overnight, after hours service they pay for that told me they could have someone come look at it the next day. As we still didn't feel safe, we called the fire department. They were furious but seemingly unsurprised that we weren't told to evacuate. They didn't have high opinions of this company. They found greatly elevated levels of carbon monoxide, so they turned off the gas and propane. We stayed in a freezing cold house with two electric heaters. The next morning around 9:30 I had to call them (was this not flagged as an emergency?) and tell them the situation. The owner showed up first - he was very nice, and the ONLY person who apologized to us from the outset. A man from Taylor Made came and said "what else can I do for you?" I explained that we could use more heaters but we kept tripping the breakers, so that wasn't really possible. He left. A man from an HVAC company came out to look at things; he determined that too much gas was coming in because of how the logs were arranged on the fire. So he rearranged them and turned the gas back on. You can understand that I didn't trust that, so we didn't touch the fireplace any more.

I didn't hear an apology from Taylor Made until I informed them that they hadn't apologized. They did not care about us after they got our money. There was a lot of "we said sorry, what else do you want" attitude coming from them. So they offered a 75 dollar refund. On an 800 dollar reservation. Not only that, but it came with over a page of requirements to keep our mouths shut and sign away all ability to hold the company responsible. Let that sink in for a minute. We were exposed to carbon monoxide, not apologized to, kept waiting, and they thought 75 dollars would keep us from sticking up for ourselves.

So they upped the amount to 100 dollars. That's when I knew I was going to say no. How insulting. I asked my friend who stayed with me if it was OK to turn down the money in exchange for the ability to write this review, because we're both not rich and really could use the money. But the principle of the situation won out.

This was a horrible experience. We save up for these trips, and this one was a complete bust. They're going to reply to this and hint that we were unreasonable (we were not) or that they were plenty responsive (they were not) or that they tried to rectify the situation (with 75 dollars?). They made me feel like asking for a deserved refund was outrageous.

I don't ask a lot of these realty companies, I just want a house in decent shape so we can relax. We didn't get that. I don't call every day with a new complaint or demand they do anything outrageous. My friend and I are very easy going, so trust me when I say they get their money's worth from us. Not anymore. I think we've stayed with them six times or so, but they treated us like nothing. Almost every person I talked to or emailed with seemed shocked that a lukewarm apology and tiny refund wasn't sufficient. What a shame. They have a large number of houses for rent so it'll be hard to avoid them next time, but believe me, we will.

The beds were nicely made and the house is comfy. I liked that they provided some paper towels and soap for the kitchen. Having a washer and dryer a plus. Our only problem was that the hot tub was not ready when we first arrived and had to be cleaned, filled, and heated (it was one of the reasons we booked the house and we were only there for two nights). I wish the floors would have been cleaner. The bathrooms were nice and clean. We all have a thick head of hair to wash and the water pressure was problematic, but we made it work. The people in office were kind and accommodating. They give you a nice cooler lunchbox. Thank you!

My family stayed at Highland Retreat the week of July 4th. It comfortably held all of us, as the description of the property would suggest, and there were no surprises with the description versus what we saw upon arrival. The location was good. This was our first Deep Creek trip. We enjoyed the stay, the area, and the house. It was pricey for what it was, and there were several minor maintenance issues that I will describe here so that hopefully they may be addressed for future renters. But we enjoyed the house and made it a good week. Issues included: A leak from the upstairs bathroom (shower) down into the kitchen/dining area; master bedroom door handle detached/broken; main floor sliding screen door handle detached/broken; master bath shower water temp was not hot enough; downstairs/basement pull-out couch broken; downstairs/basement chair broken; upstairs shower sliding door off of track/broken; some of the fire pit outside chairs were broken; outside deck landing at the bottom level of the deck stairs was dangerously slippery, particularly when wet (a few spills, but no serious injuries).

With the first encounter my family was initially f...

With the first encounter my family was initially frustrated and disappointed at the customer service with Taylor Made. However, after speaking with Jodi, the owner, I wanted to write a new review. Again this will be lengthy but for good reason. After speaking to Jodi, I want to say how appreciative I am that she was compassionate and kind, and that she took the time to contact me directly and address the situation.

Backstory: My grandmother booked a vacation property for our family in October 2015, and we were supposed to be enjoying a vacation rental there this August 2016. She made the initial payment, and then at the beginning of 2016, she pre-paid all of the payments set forth by TM in the payment plan, so that the balance was paid in full well in advance of when it was due. We were all very excited for our Deep Creek Vacation and the property looked beautiful.

Unfortunately a month ago, in June, she was diagnosed with cancer. She is and will be undergoing chemo and radiation and so therefore we will not be able to take the vacation. She called to let them know. She was told that their cancellation policy is that if the property is rebooked, they will issue a refund minus a small cancellation fee, but if the property is not rebooked, they will not issue a refund. They reminded her that she did not choose to get vacation insurance.

I spoke to two different people on the phone yesterday and was met with "this is our policy" and a lot of "can'ts" and reminders about vacation insurance and that we did not choose to get it.

While I completely understand that a company must have and adhere to policies in order to stay in business, as a business owner myself, I also feel that there are times when extenuating circumstances give cause for compassion and this is one of those times.

They could have done any number of things in good faith to try to address the situation with compassion. For instance, they could have offered the partial refund of the part she pre-paid before it was due. They could have allowed us to put the balance toward a potential vacation at a later date if and when my grandmother recovers. They could have offered us *something* to show compassion for the situation.
Unfortunately, what they (the employees I spoke to) chose to do was remind us that we did not purchase vacation insurance and reiterate the cancellation policy.

I wish that the employees I initially spoke to had shown more compassion, or referred me to a manager or owner. However, I can appreciate that they were trying to do their job and explain the company policy. And what I appreciate more is that Jodi called me herself and was willing to explain things further, hear me out, and work toward a resolution.

I didn't ever expect a full refund, and I only wrote the first negative review out of frustration for the way I was initially treated. But Jodi assured me that this situation was a chance for her to work with her staff on handling sensitive situations differently. I am really am impressed that she was willing to admit that the staff could have handled it differently. All we can do is learn from our mistakes. Our family learned the lesson to always get travel insurance. Hopefully the staff members at TM that I spoke to will learn more about how to work with sensitive situations.

Jodi was very kind, understanding and compassionate, and honestly tone and willingness to think outside the box and find a resolution truly makes a huge difference in a customer service experience, regardless of the monetary outcome.

I am rating TM 5 stars because although the interactions I had initially were frustrating, after the situation was brought to the attention of Jodi, she handled it with compassion and kindness and that is all that we wanted.

We still hope to go on a Deep Creek vacation at a later date when my grandmother recovers. Thank you, Jodi!

My friends and I stayed at the Hootenanny. It was nice but there were a few issues. The first floor was really cold. We were told to turn on the fireplace but that doesn't heat the bedrooms. Also, we were looking forward to grilling and hanging out by the fireplace in the living room but neither were working. The maintenance person came promptly to fix them but the fireplace needed a part and he couldn't get the grill fully operational. Aside from that the house was nice.

I recently traveled up to McHenry, MD and secured accommodations through Taylor-Made Deep Creek Vacations. The experience was one that I will never forget. We were greeted by friendly, knowledgeable reservationists that were very helpful in getting us checked in and informed with things to do in the area. The cabin we stayed in had a great view of the lake and all the bells whistles one would expect while on vacation, on top of that the unit was very clean and update to date with modern amenities, hot tub, etc.. To add to our experience, we were there while it snowed 10 or more inches which made the town a winter wonder land. We are looking forward to a vacation this spring to enjoy the lake and summer time activities. I highly recommend a stay with Taylor-Made!

DISGUSTING! I would strongly recommend not renting any property from this company. The house we rented was extremely dirty. How dirty? One of the children staying with us found a used condom in the basement (there were multiple). The water was brown and unusable. The water pressure was so low, even if the water was clear, it wouldn t have mattered. The washer was moldy. The furnace was not adequate for the house, the upstairs was a balmy 59 degrees when it was 2 degrees outside. The refrigerator barely kept our food cold and the ice maker didn t work. The ping pong table in the basement was a death-trap. The legs weren t attached and the 200+ pound top fell off (luckily no kids were around). The fooseball table didn t work. Overall the house was extremely dirty and needed thoroughly cleaned. This company uses the same cleaning company for their properties so I am assuming other properties are the same. Save your money and rent from someone else who takes pride in their rentals.

We stayed at Cottage at North Shore on Deep Creek ...

We stayed at Cottage at North Shore on Deep Creek Lake. First of all, Taylor-Made made booking Cottage at North Shore easy. Their company is very organized and thoughtful about renters. When we arrived at Cottage at North Shores we drove down the road lined full of trees and forest and we had such a good, relaxing feeling even before we arrived at our destination. The Cottage is right on the lake and a perfect area for canoeing; kayaking, swimming and just plain relaxing. This was a daughters vacation and we arrived for the Autumn Glory festival in October. But what a gem of a cottage we found next to the Lake to enjoy autumn views of the trees changing; fires in the fire pit and morning coffee on the porch in the back facing the Lake. We felt right at home with a cozy, warm and welcoming feeling at Cottage at North Shore. As soon as we arrived our stress level changed and we felt we were home. We loved the quiet and peaceful surroundings and enjoyed the night sky. We saw a huge full moon coming up over the farm land as we drove home to the Cottage one evening. We drove to walk around Swallow Falls and one night we went to the movie theater, but we always returned to the cozy, peaceful cottage to chill with a glass of wine and a good dinner and conversation or a delicious cinnamon bun from Arrow Head. Aussie, our yellow lab loved running out the door with us to take a dip every morning and evening. We walk the roads around the Cottage which are great for dogs and humans to just enjoy walking around the neighborhood around this section of the Lake which is lovely. We are planning to go back again this October.

My family and other friends stayed at Endless Hori...

My family and other friends stayed at Endless Horizons this Labor Day weekend. We checked in on Friday, September 2nd to a house that definitely hadn't been taken care of in a while. The lawn and shrubs were not taken care of. There were weeds overtaking the shrubbery. The house looked as if it hadn't been power washed or painted in years.

Once inside, the floors had debris in the foyer and the kitchen (pretzel sticks and other pieces of trash). My wife turned back the covers on the bed in the 1st master suite only to find hair and what look like dirt. The same was found in another bedroom over the garage.

I called the office to inform them and was told we won't be able to get anyone out until the next day but he would try. In the meantime, we had to wash the bed spread and sheets in order to go to bed. After travelling and just wanting to relax, this was the last thing we wanted to deal with. We then went into our bathroom to a broken toilet seat and mold/mildew in the shower. Mold/mildew was also found in the shower in one of the basement bathrooms as well. Also, the basement had a very musty smell that caused one of the kid's asthma to trigger and one of the adults to suffer breathing issues.

When I complained to the office, their offer to us was a later check-out. Not the right response. They then countered with 2 gift cards to Smileys for $50. Once again, not the right response. Their last offer was credit us for $50 for our stay. I told the manager that for the amount of money we spent on this house for the weekend, those offers were an insult. We are in the process of contacting Garrett County Chamber of Commerce, local media and BBB.

Great spot for a weekend of kayaking and rafting in the local area. Our group of 8 liked the large kitchen with everything we needed to cook big meals at least twice a day. Comfortable bathrooms. Hot tub was quickly filled and ready when we asked upon arrival. Garage was helpful for storage and security. The area is gated and safe on top of WISP. Adjacent to ASCI. Large TV area for viewing sports in the evening. Everything met our expecations.

Rented Canadian Day for a week. Arrived on Sunday to find bathroom door in Master Suite broken and not able to close. Called the rental office immediately. Was told someone would be out on Monday to fix. Monday came home to find a note that a part had to be ordered and would return the next day. Called everyday after that and got a different response each time and still no fix. Finally on Saturday, 1 day before vacation was over someone came and fixed the door. This was a huge inconvenience as we had 12 people there and only 3 bathrooms where privacy could be had. Plus the fact that there were no locks on any of the bedroom doors was also ridiculous. The Customer Service from Taylor_Made was seriously lacking. Even a call to the manager did nothing to help the situation. The 2nd issue was the promo that there is lake access. While this is true, what isn't mentioned is that you have to walk down a busy road and then down a long steep hill in the woods to get to the dock. People with little ones or elderly folks should avoid this house. And if you are looking for a view of the lake...forget it! You can hear the boats zooming by but can't see anything. Could have been a much better experience had the staff at Taylor-Made been able to deliver good customer service!

We rented Hiatus in Cherry Creek Cove with our family of 5 with a newborn and two young kids plus grandparents. I spoke with the agency prior to booking about whether it would be a good fit for our family and they said it would be. It is NOT a family friendly location. There are 200+ boats in the cove blasting music and people yelling. It s the opposite of a peaceful vacation and way too loud for a newborn and young kids. The agency claims not to know this about the cove but I asked a neighbor and they said it s like this every weekend. Taylor Made is refusing to take any responsibility or issue any refund despite the false advertising. This was our first and only vacation all summer due to Covid and the newborn, we spent way too much money even for a perfect place, instead we get stuck in a nightmare. I pleaded with the company for them to have some compassion and got nothing. To say it is disappointing is a huge understatement. The house is also underwhelming. Not horrible but not in great shape, certainly not worth the money we spent on it.

TERRIBLE! We booked a house for a bach party. We arrived at check in time. There were multiple maintenance vehicles in the driveway. We were told the house had no heat, electricity or water- basically all of the essentials- and they had been working on it for 3 days! Maintenance crossed his fingers & said it ll hopefully be fixed in a hour. My friend contacted Taylor Made and they said this was their first time using the vendor & offered late check out. Not a solution. The Property Manager, Doreen?, showed up and reiterated that this was unacceptable, that they originally told her they wouldn t be done at 4, but then said they would-it was now well after 4. She added that this was their first time using this vendor. She offered to buy us a round of drinks from Unos. We just wanted to unload the car & get to the things we had planned for the party but couldn t. We asked to go to a different house and she said they were sold out. They manage 300-400 properties. When we looked it up, there was a huge list of available Taylor Made properties available, so this was a lie. She promised to look into it but we never heard back from her again. She told us that if we called The manager Chris she would work out a discount. My friend talked to Chris who told her that we should wait until 5pm and then we can go to Plan B (Even though they didn t have one). When I talked to Chris, I told her that this was unacceptable, that drinks wouldn t cut it, that we came here for a relaxing weekend & they were ruining our plans for this night. She told me she needed to talk to the Owner. When I mentioned it being the 1st time they used this vendor she said they had used them for years- directly contradicting the others. I also pressed on why we weren t made aware of these issues prior to showing up to discover it. She said that they didn t want to worry us. How was this surprise better than being forthright with us. My friend had called an hour before we arrived to confirm everything & there was no mention. The manager, Chris, tried to say that the vendor said they would be done by 4. Check in time is at 4pm, so if they had any customer service, proper follow up would have been done to manage this vendor, and ensure we were aware. Chris didn t have anything to say other than you need to wait until 5pm and told me that she wasn t going to talk to me anymore. 5pm rolled around and you ll be shocked to hear this but they still weren t done. We tried to called Chris back, but she already had LEFT to enjoy her weekend. It made sense why she insisted on us waiting until 5pm, and just confirmed that she couldnt have cared less that we were in a cold dark waterless house on vacation. I spoke with Sheila who identified herself as a GM, and she refused to talk to me stating that she heard I had called Chris names and used profanity. I did NEITHER of these and my friends confirmed this. Even once it was fixed, we had to tell maintenance that the stove top wasn t working, and the heat downstairs wouldn t go on. At one point, Taylor Made had to send their own maintenance. So instead of relaxing, we spent time managing vendors. Even after the 2+ hours it took to get everything fixed, the house still wasn t guest ready. We had to heat up the entire freezing house so everyone was still in coats, we had no ice for an entire night so making drinks was a challenge, and the hot tub took hours to heat. Even bed time wasn t relaxing, as the sheets felt like sandpaper, and the mousetraps weren t very reassuring. Oh but don t worry, Taylor Made really pulled strings to offer a whopping $50 off- insert eye roll. Our house name was Absolutely Shore and I m absolutely sure we will never stay there again or use Taylor Made.
Update- They offered us $150 after seeing the 1 star reviews in exchange for us signing a legal agreement stating we would take the reviews down and not go to press. They only wanted to negotiate because of the reviews, not because it was the right thing to do. We declined their offer.

Horrible stay. The house (Retro) was unkept, very dirty for $495 a night. Old stained pillows, and matress. Screen doors that were ripped, kitchen windows clogged with dead bugs and dirt, dirty fridge. Shower was not clean, using the shower was a horrible experience the water backed up onto the feet had to use a spatula to pry the drain open to unclog it.
Ended up leaving early when we contacted the Taylor-Made they offered cleaning after we left and would not refund the night we did not stay at this disgusting house. I will never recommend
this company.
Updated. Response to owner: you had multiple chances to make an effort to fix this but you didn't. This is very foolish on you part, you actually lost business we were there primarily to research for business retreats so thank you for helping us make a smart decision and not choosing this facility.

We had 6 of us at Sunset Ridge for a birthday getaway. We all loved it! Hot tub after a day of skiing, pool table and large rec room for hanging out and games, the dining room and tv living area for gathering were all exactly what we needed. Location could not be better, so close to Wisp, Deep Creek Lake, shopping and even a brewery less than 2 miles away. The Taylor Made staff are terrific to work with too - very responsive and pleasant to ensure our trip was as easy as it was enjoyable. We look forward to returning soon and often!

Horrible and misleading. Nowhere on the website did it say there was no A/C. The site also described 'cable/satellite TV'. Only over-the-air TV, and only one of the three TV's worked. Additionally, the outside was very unkempt and appeared to not been attended to in the last month or more (grass was knee-high) Inside, the kitchen faucet handle was sitting on the counter when I arrived, some of the windows wouldn't open, others had broken hand cranks. Hot water was barely hot, the grill was unclean and gross, and there were piles of debris around the property.

See pics and see what you think; they offered a refund of roughly 10%. What would you think is appropriate?

UPDATE: They upped their offer to 20%. I accepted. Thank you Taylor Made.

I stayed at sunset ridge and nothing was working. The fireplace wouldn t work it was smoking so bad. The hot tub wouldn t get hot after running it for a day. The technician came out and reset the hot tub and it still didn t work. The hot tub was the main reason for picking the house. The staff was rude and took so long to come out for a call. The reclining chair in the living room was broke when you sit in it you fall back. The chairs on the porch was broken. The heat in the house didn t work properly. It was old chairs and items thrown in the closet and in the porch. The grill was broken. Things that was said that we would have we didn t or it was broke.

Great Fall weekend down in Deep Creek Maryland at our Taylor-Made rental home At Last. This was our second year in this home and we came back for the beautiful view of the lake, accommodations for our large family (bunk room is a plus), lovely rustic interior and all the extras you can want. The campfires at night in the backyard provided lasting memories for our children. When our 3 year granddaughter came out and looked up and said "you can see so many stars" it really struck me how lucky we were to enjoy this. The house has lake access that is a short walk off a private drive that is safe for biking children and mornings walks. State Parks are just 15 minutes away and anything in Oakland and McHenry is nearby for whatever your needs may be. A trip over to Wisp to ride the Mountain Coaster was another highlight for the kids. We are already planning on coming back to At Last next year to do it all again.

My neighbor is selling his house. They posted a zillion pictures of the view from their house. My house is in 6 of the many pictures posted. I asked Taylor Made to crop my house out of the pictures, an easy thing to do. It's a matter of my privacy. After saying they would do it, they did not and refused to do so. They got pretty huffy. Now a whole neighborhood is not happy with them. I would never use this company or recommend them.

Changed systems and lost some reservations and pay...

Changed systems and lost some reservations and payments .

Booked the Log Retreat a 2 house compound rental for friends and family on Sept 16 signed contract and full payment that same day, I call Taylor 4 days before we are due to arrive to check on an early check in, and they tell me they don t have a reservation for the property, that they had recently switched systems and lost some reservations. (Again signed contract and took my full payment 3 months earlier) so now I am 4 days out from arriving with 20 people, they assure me things are fine and send me a code to access the properties this Weekend, only to call last night (Tuesday) at 4:45 to tell me one of the two houses is under major renovations and that we can t stay there after all. Sent me a few options none of which were close to the same layout (and they were cheaper then I had originally booked) for our group (something that they admitted) and when I went to Railey and found a house that would work they refused to help make up the less than $900 difference in costs so we could actually have a nice weekend as we had planned and paid for 3 months earlier. Ended up cancelling with Taylor and booked with Railey, don t take the chance on having your trip ruined by using a company that loses peoples reservation, their payments, and doesn t notify anyone of their rental being under major renovation . We very well could have rolled up to a construction site Friday afternoon with 20 people if I had not happened to call to check on the early check in. I had confirmations from the contract being returned signed, and invitation to view my rental through the hospitality app, all pointing to a confirmed, approved rental, but they lost it somehow. I have rented houses throughout the country through numerous agencies and this was by far the most amateur hour show I have ever been a part of. And before you get the numerous attempts were made to correct the situation don t buy it, both of their reps admitted they simply didn t have the options available to us that Railey would and that there was nothing they could do since it was 3 days away with what they had left and could never really answer how such a colossal cluster happened. A joyous birthday for my wife was turned into a giant headache and I am just glad to have found a house through an agency who seems to know what they are doing. Great at taking the reservation and the money up front, but like the old Seinfeld episode they can t seem to actually hold the reservation, ridiculous.

We had a large group so the 6 rooms worked out well. My only complaints would be the Wifi network (very poor) and the house audio system. The pictures showed speakers throughout the house, which there were. But, the two receivers that run the speakers were not there so the sound system was useless. Since I own an audio/video sales & installation company, this was disappointing. Otherwise, the place was very comfortable and clean.

We stayed at Fox Den. We were greeted by a dead muskrat(?) in the yard. It had clearly been there for a while. The house needs some serious upkeep. There was peeling paint in the bathroom and on the deck. Stained throw pillows on both couches, stained kitchen counter and floor, ancient-looking rugs. The TV did not work and when we tried to have a fire in the fireplace it did not draft properly so the room became smoky (yes, the flue was open). Sitting in front of the fire was something we had really been looking forward to. We called twice about these issues. Two different people (one without a mask) came out to look at the TV but didn t fix the problem. No one addressed the fireplace issue. We were told a manager would follow up. Never happened. We checked out early. Not worth the money we paid. Sorely disappointed.

We are suppose to stay at a vacation rental in Deep Creek this weekend. Some of our vacation family has the Coronavirus and one is hospitalized with double pneumonia from it. We asked to cancel our week and reschedule in fear that more of us may come down with the virus and don t want to spread to another town. Taylor Made only answer is to cancel our reservations and hope someone rebooks the house in the next four days. Otherwise we will be out $4300. We have our fingers crossed that it is rebooked but if not we are going to risk going and quarantining ourselves in the house there. The other upsetting thing with our house that is noted on the website, Taylor Made has upped the cost of the home to $5500 for our rental week which I feel will make it harder to rent. Instead of saying that s fine and hoping the best for our families(Bill s Boat Marina extended such regards), we are faced with the worry of our situation. HOPE FOR THE NEXT FAMILY THAT THEY CLEAN THE HOUSE WELL ENOUGH AFTER US!

I stayed in Deep Creek Villages #29 with Taylor Made January 2021. I wish I could say better things! The house was nicely decorated, conveniently located, and the views were gorgeous.

However, there were issues. The dishes were all dirty, many with chunks of food still on them, when we arrived, and the house had an...interesting scent. The Master bath's toilet leaked through the ceiling and, unfortunately, dripped directly onto the dining room table. The kitchen sink had a bucket placed under it when we arrived that frequently overflowed and leaked onto the kitchen floor. The upstairs bathroom was nice and mostly functional, but the shower did not drain...at all.

What really bummed me out about all of this was that the house was still nice enough that I wanted to come back despite the issues. The views are GORGEOUS! But the checkout procedure/language was so aggressive, I was instantly dissuaded. NO refunds, NO discounts, you WILL be held accountable and charged if they deem anything broken, unclean, "unorganized," or otherwise not in compliance with their policies. I wouldn't tell anyone NOT to rent with this company, but I myself might avoid it on my next trip.

My experience at the cabin offered by Taylor-Made ...

My experience at the cabin offered by Taylor-Made was terrible. One of the worst experiences I ve had during a vacation.
The address of the house we stayed is: 33 Santa Fe Trail, Oakland, MD 21550 and we stayed during Martin Luther King weekend for 3 nights.
First off, a lot us got bed bug bites from the dirty beds, sheets, and poorly maintained sofas. These weren t couple of bites. There were MANY MANY bites all over our bodies. This is a testament of how poorly these cabins are maintained and cleaned. And to think that they have the audacity to charge us $250 plus in cleaning fees .
Secondly, our hot tub was not working properly on two of the three day. We specifically chose this cabin for the hot tubs (even though it comparably more than the cabins w/o hot tubs). We were really looking forward to this amenity...enjoying the hot tub after skiing during the day. However, we were able to enjoy this amenity for one night. Once we told Taylor Made about this, they had the audacity to say that we broke the hot tub...and the bed bug bites were actually "hot tub rashes" which was supposedly "caused due to alcohol and chemicals in the hot tub water mixing together".......I think I have enough life experience to tell a difference b/w bed bug bites and hot tub rashes . What a joke..
Lastly, there were no warnings/disclaimers on your website suggesting the guests to bring an All-Wheel Drive/Four Wheel Drive vehicle (Compared to their competitors' websites where it strongly suggests to bring one due to steep hills leading to the home). When we got there, we realized that the hill leading to the driveway of the home was very steep. It snowed and iced all weekend while we were there. On the day when we tried to leave, one of our friend s vehicle (which was a rear wheel drive) lost traction while going down the steep hill and crashed into a ditch. This was a result of lack of information/warning. If there was such language warning us about the steep hills, no one would ve brought their 2 wheel drives. in addition, despite the fact that we called Taylor Made to take care of the drive way .it took them over 48 hours (from when the snow storm ended) to plow the driveways and the steep hill leading down to the main roads...
Our weekend was ruined for the three reasons mentioned above. We invested a good amount of money (over $850) to relax and enjoy the weekend. However, it was filled with an accident due to poor disclaimer language/lack of information by Taylor Made, bed bug bites due to poor hygiene/maintenance by Taylor Made, and a dysfunctional hot tub. As a consumer, this was one of the biggest waste of money and I would like to be compensated for this experience and no one should be spending that much money to come home with an accident, bed bug bites, and a sour taste in the mouth.

The home was beautiful but....it had spiderwebs in every corner of the floors, ceiling and windows, the water was brown and smelled like rust, most of the drains were rusted, the fire place did not work, the ice machine in the refrigerator did not work, and we had hot water for a total of 4 hours during a 48 hour stay. Out of all of those things the only thing that bothered us was the fact there was not hot water everything else we were able to make the best of. I invited all these ladies to enjoy a weekend get away and we could not enjoy it with no hot water some of us had not choice but to take a cold shower because it was that time of the month for us. The first night is when it was discovered by then maintenance was gone for the day and did not show up until the next day at 1pm so that meant again the same women had to take a cold shower before he got there we could not turn the heat up because we wanted to follow the rules we couldn't turn the fire place on to warm up either. The maintenance man came fixed the hot water tank and the fire place so we thought. We had to wait until 2pm for the water to get hot by the time 10 of us got showered the hot water was gone again it was getting dark and we could not do any activities that was planned and there were 2 ladies that couldn't take shower. I thought the hot water needed to build up again so we waited until 5pm but there was not hot water again so I called for maintenance again but they were done for the day that night before we went to sleep we turned the fireplace off but tried to turn it back on the next morning but it was broken again. I was told we were priority and we would be the first house at 9am but he did not show until 11am. I'm glad I called they day before for a late check-out because there was no way we would have been out by 12. This maintenance man said the hot water tank was broken he can reset it but there is a piece that needed order and he didn't know why the first maintenance man didn't know that. I called and spoke with Abby because I felt like we should be accommodated for our weekend stay she apologized and stated that the experience that we had was not how Taylor Made works and that the reservation manager Chris would call me back to accommodate us for our stay on Monday morning. Chris did not call me Monday morning so I called and spoke to Kim Monday afternoon she put me on hold came back and said Chris was on a call upstairs and would call me back I advise her that Chris was to call me back this morning and never did she apologized and said she will call me back today (Monday) it is now Thursday and still no call back. All we want is a peaceful weekend in a Taylor made property that has working hot water for 48 hour we would go back to the same home because like I said it is a beautiful home you just have to fix those things. My main reason for coming was because my brother passed away I just wanted to relax in the jacuzzi tub in the Master bedroom and reflect on the good times that I shared with my brother and I couldn't. I'm not asking for any money back I'm asking for a weekend in the Pinnacle Retreat again with everything fixed and I do understand that some of these home may have minor hiccups but I also feel that we should be accommodated for our stay there not having hot water is unacceptable. How would you feel if you paid to rent a home and you only had hit water for 4 hours out of 48 hour?

Funny how after I submitted a poor review on Taylor Made Facebook page and their site I received a email from Johnny Hennessey saying Chris called me but she didn't. He insulted me with offering $100 back and $75 credit towards my next stay. The cost just to rent a 7 passenger truck was $468 the cost of gas's in that truck was $70 plus my personal car $40 for gas not even including the other Mini Van and mini SUV's gas cost.

I will be contacting the BBB of greater Maryland and Garrett County Commerce of Chamber by the end of next week if this issue is not resolved without insult I myself is a business owner and this is not acceptable at all.

I took a vacation 2 weeks ago and stayed at the mountain house. My sister in law booked the place after all agreeing to the house due too its size and beautiful photos online. Now, the rental itself is gorgeous and in a great location. Appliances were functional including the hot tub which was great to have. But their cleanliness was unacceptable. With COVID we thought it would be a clean rental but it was not. On their site they claim to pride themselves in excellence and that was not shown in that home. Upon arrival you could tell the counters, tables and appliances weren't wiped down at all. Nothing was vacuumed. Even the bed had dog fur which caused my allergies to act up. My first two nights were horrible with me itching, sneezing I even woke up with my eye swollen. We had to wipe down. I had to wash the covers. To make it worse I couldn't vacuum because both vacuums at home were nonfunctional. I found an old child bottle with milk under the bed! Eventually we called them to come in and vacuum and change sheets. I feel that with over $3000 paid the housekeeping could have done way better. Another issue which could have been dealt with when they clean was cob webs. They were almost everywhere. Of course no dusting was done either. The basement was moist to the point where they had fans and damp rid bags. I truly hope they did a better job cleaning for what ever family came next.

If I could go less than one star, I would. Upon a...

If I could go less than one star, I would. Upon arrival at the weekend of September 17, I was satisfied with the unit in Kendall Camp, Unit 91. The unit itself was nicely decorated and very spacious. However, I was utterly disappointed the next day when pulling out the drawer under the stove and found mice droppings. Hmm, not too good..but wait it gets better. When sitting down at the kitchen table, mice droppings, when looking at the decor on the kitchen table, mice droppings, in the corners of the rooms, mice droppings, in the bathrooms mice droppings and so on and so on. In the bathtubs dead bugs. So disgusting and unsanitary. I contacted the rental agent and spoke with Chris "the manager". I told her that we needed to move units. Chris stated once you are in a unit you can not move. I can not believe that is their policy.
She told me she would send the cleaners and the pest control department. The cleaners were two teenagers who vacuumed and sprayed Clorox. The pest control was a young man who brought old fashioned mice traps that he wanted to lay throughout the home. Just what I expected when I decided to travel to their resort. lol. The next day the mice were still at the unit as they ate all of our food items such as bread, crackers etc and left more droppings. I called the "manager" again, however, nobody is in their office over the weekend. How does a rental company not have emergency staff? After speaking with Chris after we left, we were offered a $350.00 refund only if we sign a release stating we would not discuss our experience. I contacted her supervisor, Chad Taylor who told me that although they apologize for the mice and unsanitary conditions, they never refund money and $350.00 is the best they could do. Are you kidding me? I spent a weekend away finally during COVID and this disgusting situation is what I had to deal with. Please find somewhere else to stay. Their homes are not sanitary and their customer service is unsatisfactory.

My family and I stayed at the Fir Shore property and was very disappointed. Th house was beautiful and very spacious for my family but the furniture was horrible. The two chairs in the family room were very uncomfortable due to the seat cushions sank to the floor when sat on. The master bedroom mattress was lumpy and sank in the middle. The queen sofa bed mattress was also lumpy and completely worn out. The lower level sofa cushions also sank to the floor when sat on. We also experienced uncleaned bathrooms with dirty shower curtains, tubs and mice fesses in the beds. On the website shows chairs at the dinning room table but there were only 2 chairs and 4 benches which did not accommodate the elderly family members. We also experienced the television not programmed to the DVD player with remotes that did not operate. We vacation at Deep Creek every year and this is the first time we have ever been this unhappy. This house was AWFUL.
