My family and other friends stayed at Endless Hori...

My family and other friends stayed at Endless Horizons this Labor Day weekend. We checked in on Friday, September 2nd to a house that definitely hadn't been taken care of in a while. The lawn and shrubs were not taken care of. There were weeds overtaking the shrubbery. The house looked as if it hadn't been power washed or painted in years.

Once inside, the floors had debris in the foyer and the kitchen (pretzel sticks and other pieces of trash). My wife turned back the covers on the bed in the 1st master suite only to find hair and what look like dirt. The same was found in another bedroom over the garage.

I called the office to inform them and was told we won't be able to get anyone out until the next day but he would try. In the meantime, we had to wash the bed spread and sheets in order to go to bed. After travelling and just wanting to relax, this was the last thing we wanted to deal with. We then went into our bathroom to a broken toilet seat and mold/mildew in the shower. Mold/mildew was also found in the shower in one of the basement bathrooms as well. Also, the basement had a very musty smell that caused one of the kid's asthma to trigger and one of the adults to suffer breathing issues.

When I complained to the office, their offer to us was a later check-out. Not the right response. They then countered with 2 gift cards to Smileys for $50. Once again, not the right response. Their last offer was credit us for $50 for our stay. I told the manager that for the amount of money we spent on this house for the weekend, those offers were an insult. We are in the process of contacting Garrett County Chamber of Commerce, local media and BBB.
