Sun Toyota what can I say.. they built a million dollar business and now they need you to come in every time your car breaks.. my advice is go by your part find a good mechanic and have them put it in... prices are way off the charts..

I received a notice from my loan carrier about a refund. It look some looking into but Lori was more than helpful in keeping me in the know throughout the process. Her friendliness went a long way to ensuring my confidence in the process. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I was very happy with my car purchase at the time of my purchase.. Now that this dealership has no regard to it's customer, I'm Very disappointed that no one would help me with the Registration and Title that they missed up with the wrong color on the Tile and Registration. I was told that they would fix this 3 Weeks ago with no results.
Very unprofessional.. Waited on hold for 20 minutes for a manager, after hanging up the phone and calling back, I was told a manager is unavailable and in a meeting.. Now waiting for a manager to call me back. I doubt that I will receive a call back. They are just like most car dealerships, sell you a Vehicle and don't care about anything else.
I hope that someone can help me get my paper work fixed so it matches the color of my car that is BLACK NOT YELLOW..

WE JUST HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE WITH SUN TOYOTA!! FILLED OUT ONLINE TO GET PREAPPROVED. TALKED WITH A SALES MANAGER ON THE PHONE TOLD HIM OUR TRADE, HOW MUCH WE HAVE TO PUT DOWN AND WHAT OUR MONTHLY PAYMENTS NEED TO BE AT... HE TOLD US HE COULD DO IT AND AFTER WE TEST DROVE AND SPENT 4 HRS THERE CAME BACK AND SAID HE COULD NOT DO IT!!!! HE DROVE AROUND FOR 45 MINUTES LOOKING FOR THE CAR AND THAT ONE WAS WAY OUT OF OUR PRICE RANGE.. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK!! IT AMAZES ME THAT THEY CAN WASTE THAT MUCH TIME AND SERVE YOU A BOWL OF CRAP!! ANOTHER THING IS WE DROVE 2 HOURS BECAUSE THEY SAID IT WAS APPROVED AND WE WERE READY TO GO!

I was in the market for a used pick-up. My research had shown that the Toyota Tacoma got excellent ratings for reliability. I saw a vehicle advertised by this dealership on carguru which had my desired options. I visited the dealership and the salesman, Al Wahba, showed me the vehicle and allowed me to test drive it. I was impressed with the condition of the vehicle and the ride. Al presented my offer to his manager and after some give and take we arrived at a fair deal. At no time did I feel pressured to accept any deal. The finance officer at the dealership helped me finance part of the purchase price at a very reasonable rate of interest. Over all I am very pleased with my purchase. This is the third vehicle I have purchased from this dealer so I would highly recommend them for sales and service before, during and after the sale.

So I give them 5 stars do to the amazing deal we got on our new rav 4 and how nice and friendly the staff was. We were there all of 4 hours I was getting very frustrated do to how long the paperwork was taking but come to find out they were down 3 finance people and these guys are killing it all day so I give them serious respect, thank you for all the help and getting us in a new rav 4.

Came ready to buy a Sienna, no one around to help. Needless to say, I bought a Honda Odyssey instead later that day. You lost a sale!!! Next time act more like Ocean Honda if you want to make a sale!

My eighty something mom took her 09 Avalon in for service. What an experience. My cynical self says they saw her coming and decided to take advantage of her trust in Toyota. They recommended an air system sanitizing and an induction cleaning on top of replacing the tires they sold her. As best as I can tell neither the induction cleaning and sanitizing recommendations were based on anything actually recommended by Toyota. The tires which were sold to her by the dealership lasted only 22K miles, that is very bad performance. I am actively looking for new tires in the area from a higher quality vendor.

My mom's comment sums it up. This dealership which she has trusted is now a place you have to watch.

My husband and I didn't know whether to buy a used or new car. So we met Javier Arruza and he took us around to try out and see the difference not only in price but in performance. He also explained the deals and incentives they had to offer. Javier Arruza's knowledge, expertise, friendliness led us to decide on buying a new car This was the right choice for us. He also took the time to show me some of the new computer features and helped me to program my phone. He is a wonderful person and a great salesman. This was a great experience overall.

Went to try to finance a Camry, after reviewing the flash drive you are given instead of actual paper work we noticed there was over $3,000 in additional fees the were hidden in the ads fine print. They put your paperwork on a flash drive now so you can t read what you just signed as you walk out. Financing rep will sneak in services you didn't ask for and without disclosing so be very careful what you sign because you won't be able to review it until you get home. Horrible experience overall. Will never come back even being a repeat customer and would not ever recommend to any friends or relatives.

Finance rep had to re-do our contract 3 times because he wouldn t take no for an answer and kept putting in Services we didn t want or need. He is much too aggressive and made the entire experience so unpleasant.

He ended up using two different banks so I hope we won t get billed by the two banks.

Very disappointed with the new ownership of Sun Toyota. We worked out a deal on Sunday, June 5th to purchase a used Toyota, including paying a $1000.00 down payment. The salesman we were dealing with went on vacation, but had everything worked out to close the deal on Thursday, June 9th. On Tuesday called the salesperson handling our transaction to change the date to Friday, June 10th. Talked to Sun Toyota Associates on Wednesday and Thursday confirming the closing for Friday. Friday afternoon 2 hours before scheduled time to be at dealership, received phone call that they had sold the car we had purchased, earlier in the week. Cannot believe this dealership can be either this unorganized or unprofessional. We had no choice but to buy another vehicle there because of our circumstances, we wanted a stick shift......over 700 vehicles no manual transmission vehicles available. My son got a car but definitely not the car we originally agreed to. Just very disappointed in how this situation can transpire at a major dealership. I know the former owner would never let a situation like this transpire.

Pat Chaban was outstanding I never in my dreams expected to own a Tundra Limited but I do now. Thanks to Pat treating more like a true friend or family member. I was about to leave thinking there is no way Pat could get me where I needed to be money wise. Pat made it happen and I have no clue how he made it happen I have had the truck 4 weeks now and I love it. Also, Kira in service is always great with helping you as a service advisor always a pleasure dealing with her. I really enjoy doing business at Sun Toyota!

Don't buy here, a friend of mine bought a car and got screwed beyond belief, the car has so many problems had fuses missing and the electronics are all out of wack and the car is dead, and these people pushed and lied till after 30 days was up according to the consumer protection, not only that the owner on the commercials was lousy to him, selling a bad car in a good car condition. He doesn't want to start anything with this but I'm going to do it for him and a lot of others and I'm putting it on websites and the videos of the car on you tube and he was lied to about the financial aspect as well and the warranty coverage, this dealership is garbage and full of liars and an owner that deserves to go bankrupt and go through the worse hardship of his life, and lose everything for being the fake liar he is screwing my friend and others out there. So to the owner JOHN Mark my words class action coming at you and bad coverage, and you will lose it all you thief!

Good honest business! I got my 4Runner from Patrick C and him and his sales managers honestly got me a deal I couldn't refuse. Everyone is easy to talk to and clear as they explain things. We will be back to purchase our next vehicle for sure.

I was referred to Sun Toyota by a ton of people, my mom leased a Corolla from there a couple years ago, a friend bought a used Tacoma from there and my hair stylist s husband worked there, so I heard a ton of great things about Sun Toyota. I went into Sun Toyota looking for a newer used RAV4 and worked with Ron Cauchi to find the right SUV for me. He let me look at different SUV s in my price range and similar to the RAV4 and let me test drive them, but ultimately I chose a 2012 RAV4.

I waited a couple of days because I needed to see if I needed to get a co-signer or put a larger down payment on my car, and came in on a Thursday evening. Ron was not working that day, but came in anyway to help me and go through the process. Everyone that I worked with was really friendly and were willing to work with me and gave me every possible option that I could have with warranty, lease terms, etc. They definitely made it a painless process. After I was all done in the finance department, Ron met me outside and handed me the keys to my 2012 RAV4 with a full tank of gas and I was on my way!

I bought a used toyota truck from them in 2012. Its been a lemon. Drive shaft problem from day one. Wanted me to buy new one luckily it became a warranted item. However only universal joints were only covered at independent dealer noticed universals never replaced or only one was the rest are rusted and obviously old. This was repaired 1 year ago by sun Toyota. Now center bearing not covered being replaced at independent shop. Noticed these discrepancies in supposed coverage and repair. Last Toyota i buy. 30 years plus customer. Nissan from now on

Everyone was great including Gabor in sales, Chad in finance and John the sales manager. Couldn't be happier with my purchase......and no I don't work there as someone complaining in another review suggested. Some people do actually reward and comment when service is excellent and it certainly was in my experience. I would definitely recommend and already have to my parents. Thanks for everything Sun!!!

Don't deal with this dealership....unlike the vehicles that they sell, the dealer is not reliable. They have a chat option on their website, which should be removed. Completely useless. I chatted with Jennifer from the chat option requesting availability and pricing for a specific part, and all 3 times was told that someone will get back to me with the info from the parts department.....I'm still waiting. Seriously, get rid of that useles service option if you can't follow up!

BUYER BEWARE. I went in to buy a new van, online my van (same vin) was almost 9k less then what they originally wanted to charge me. Their price was 49k, MSRP (on the vehicle) 44k, online 41k. strike 1 .I worked with Pankaj as my sales person, even made an appt... nice guy but he knew nothing about minivans and even said so. They put me with someone who knew nothing about minivans to sell me a van. Strike 2. Like my van, have a deal, go into the back office to work with Eric ( doesn't explain any of the paperwork but mentions it looks funny,doesn't say why ( I'll get to that later). Payment sounds kinda high, but whatever, I agreed to it. Get my keys, walk out. Get home and I'm financing 6k more then I should be. Did I mention he completely glossed over the truth and lending act???. Called to say I'm returning the van. I spoke with the sales manager Clay and let me know I was coming in. He told me my van was 49k, I called him out and told him his sales price ( remember, same vin and on the dealership site) was 41k so we should start from their. He said ok and I worked with Jeff... Jeff gets 5 stars for actually printing out the paper work. Going though it and explaining it. My payment went down 50 a month (which is where it should have been in the first place). I still feel I got screwed, but less so. Bring your special sales price in if you like a vehicle because they will try to charge you 20% more then what you should be paying, and that seems to go for most of their new vehicles (from cars to crossovers to vans), do I like my vehicle, yes. Am I paying more then I know I should. Yes. Am I happy I won't be doing this for another 10-15 years. Your damn right I am. Oh, and when you go for the test drive the 25 dollar gift card your supposed to get "will come in the mail." I'm not gonna hold my breath on that one.

I spent several months researching used SUV's for our family and when I saw the vehicle I wanted, Pat at Sun went above and beyond. He got me a great price for my trade in that had been in 2 accidents, then took even more off because he knew I had a strict budget. Pat even got me a better interest rate than the bank had given me prior to arriving. I am a mom of 2 and I was in a hurry to get littles rounded up from daycare. Pat had me in and out in no time, moving cars around so I could transfer car seats, he really made the car buying process quick and easy and I cant thank him enough! We ended up with a gorgeous 2017 Toyota Highlander and I couldnt be more happy with it!

Be careful of the internet pricing as the final price is loaded with add ons that you have no choice to decline. Expect a price of $4-5k higher, which in my case equated to a minimal price differential to a brand new car at a different dealership.

Worked with Willy this afternoon in purchasing my used 2013 Honda Accord. Willy took the time to show me around for cars in my price range without exceeding my budget. Was very pleasant and took the time to answer all of the questions I had for him. He was very knowledgeable and patient without pressuring the sale. I would highly recommend him for your next purchase. You won't be disappointed.

Drove across the state to buy my first car at Sun Toyota! Everyone involved was helpful and went above and beyond to help me purchase the car at a price I could afford. And Nick Nardello has been working with my mom and I for months; he was super patient while we worked out our finances and was always willing to help when needed.

If 0 stars were an option that is what Sun Toyota would get! I made contact with Sun Toyota 3/31/19 via email about being interested in buying a car seen on Cargurus. Got pre-approved for financing through Sun Toyota 3/31/19. Began texting with salesman 8:46 in the morning 4/1, shared my pre-approval status with the salesman (btw my limit was 40K, the car I wanted was less than 6K) and that I would be in after 5 to "drive it home if I can." There were multiple texts and e-mail exchanges through out the day that I THOUGHT was keeping this sale viable. At 4:40 4/1 get a call "sorry we sold the car an hour ago they are just finishing up the paperwork, I couldn't hide the keys" (what are you: 5 years old?) Are you interested in something else? Really? Bait and Switch much. If you needed $ to hold the car why didn't you ask? I will NEVER purchase a car from Sun Toyota and I will make sure none of my friends or family do!

Rude and obnoxious sales staff, stopped in for just to take a look and after I told the salesman that I was just looking he was like stalking me staying 2 or 3 vehicles away and following me around... creepy !!! Then on another occasion when I actually was interested in buying a vehicle, they wouldn't barely come down on their prices despite being a couple thousand dollars higher than average and I wanted to make a cash deal and they only moved down $500 after a 30 minute negotiation. Only go here if you have too much money and don't care about saving anything or making a good deal and you really just want to give them all your money

Great deal on a new 2018 Corolla LE. Carlos Allicock in sales and Robert Coleman in F&I were both great to work with. Kept my payments within budget and did not try to sell me something I didn't need or want. All of the staff stayed til closing to finish the deal and answered all questuons and concerns. The dealership customer amenities are top notch and the coffee is great too ;) This is my second car that I've purchased from Sun Toyota and I recommend this dealership to all of my friends and family. All of my vehicles are serviced here too. If you want a Toyota, stop here first!!

Perfect purchase experience!! Most importantly, I LOVE MY NEW 2020 COROLLA!!!! It's absolutely beautiful and drives amazingly well! I previously owned a 1989 Corolla and kept it going for 22 years. When it was necessary to replace it, I went for a Honda Civic. BIG MISTAKE! Honda is definitely not Toyota, and the Civic is no where near the product quality offered by the Corolla. After nearly 10 years with Honda, there is no question Toyota offers a superior product! I am so happy to be back in the Toyota family ! I was given a reasonable quote online, and it was honored by my sales representative, Tommy "Chills". I can't say enough great things about Tommy, He was very patient and never pushy. The dealership itself is a very large, clean, modern facility, which includes everything you could possibly need, including a full service cafe! Scott in financing helped me tremendously with a finance issue he resolved quickly. Ferris, sales manager, has been very kind to check on my new purchase. Bottom line, I highly recommend you visiting Sun Toyota when shopping for cars. Trust me, I did my research, and you won't find better pricing in the bay area. Although I love everything, geting a lifetime warranty and two years maintenance included, PRICELESS!

Within 60 days, we purchased a 2019 RAV 4 & a 2019 Avalon XLE from Sun Toyota. From start to finish, the experience was extremely positive, & we were treated like VIPs. Manager Stanley & salesman Desmond rolled out the red carpet & got in brand new, loaded vehicles with outstandingly low interest rates. We both didn't think we could afford new vehicles with all the new safety features & technology, but Sun Toyota made it happen. No high-pressure, no BS. We are pleased with our payments & add-ons. This is our second Avalon, so we are accustomed to Sun Toyota's excellent service department & high quality product. Desmond sold my father two Toyotas in the past. So we are a Sun Toyota family. When it's time for trade ins, we're going back to Stanley & Desmond.

We brought our 2017 Toyota Camry SE into Sun Toyota service department for its' first service on August 16th. Our service advisor, Greg Gammel said it would take approximately an hour and offered to have the car washed after it was finished. We waited in their lounge area which had a snack bar and television which made our wait very comfortable. Our car was ready an hour later , as promised and was as clean as the day we bought it. We were advised as to when our next service should be and Greg offered to make the appointment.. We found Sun Toyota Service to be very professional as well as accommodating. We don't know how anyone could ask for more.

I purchased a Prius my salesman was Tommy Tsilionis he was awesome to work with very knowlegable about the car and patient I had special requirements i test drove several cars. He could see that all I wanted was the prius I was not happy in any other car. He worked hard for me with the finance manager to make the deal happen including a great interest rate that I did not expect to get. If you are in the market for a new vehicle consider a yota you will not be disappointed, most of all visit Tommy at Sun Toyota the dealership is amazing. I have been back a few times to get accessories etc. My favorite thing to do is people watch there....they make may deals happen each week I love to watch all the smiles on people's faces.

Bought an Avalon Touring with the help of Dan Bateman. He made the entire experience from start to finish a pleasure. No pressure or hard sell and went with True Cars exact quote. The whole staff was courteous and helpful but Dan was outstanding.

Had an issue with getting a hold of finance and wrote a bad review regarding the level of customer service. Ben Miles commented under my review one day later and left contact info which I used to call him. He hopped on the phone and helped me figure out my situation with my car statements. Thanks for the help Ben Miles it is much appreciated. Ben deserves 5 stars, however not being able to get a hold of customer service for 7 days does not, therefore im splitting the difference and giving this a 4-star review.
