Never have I left a dealership entirely happy til now. This is a first. Kudos to Pat Hayes in sales and Steve in finance.

I went to buy a Toyota. Mr Ron Cauchi help me to choose a car. He was very helpful. There was no pressure to buy at all. I browsed at my own pace. When it was time to decide which car I wanted. Mr Cauchi answered all the questions I had. The process was quick and painless. My husband is thinking of buying a new car - I will definitely go back to SUN Toyota!

I went to Sun Toyota on May 21st by trying to see if I would be approved for a new car and trade in mine. I spoke to Patrick Chaban and he was very pleasant, caring, patiently, kind person. I wasn't really approved, but Patrick made it happened and I enjoyed working with him. I would recommend anyone to him. He makes anything happen even though you have a low credit score. Thanks a million....

Super good customer service. Excellent dealer. They gave me a very fair price and the process was smooth to purchase the vehicle I was interested.

It has been a long time since I owned a Toyota. I was in my 20's when I bought from Sun Toyota, when it was a one owner company. Fast forward a few years (wink, wink) and we purchased a 2017 Sienna from a very friendly salesman named Mark Fuller. What I liked most about our experience was our salesman. We never felt pressured and he listened to our wants and needs. You could tell it was not just about getting another sale for him but getting us what we needed.

As with most new cars there are always small hiccups/problems and for us it's not the problem that the car is having but how it is handled by the dealership. So far they have handled things very well! I can tell you that prior to this purchase our last three new vehicles were not Toyota's but if things continue to go as great as they are then our next three (or more!) will be!

BTW I want to make a shout out to the young receptionist. She handled the desk with walk in clients, a phone that was ringing off the hook yesterday and paging people with expertise! I did not get her name but she was working at 1pm on Tuesday all alone while her coworker was at lunch. She had great phone etiquette, which is uncommon these days!

12 years and 7 autos later , i still do business here. I have always been treated with respect and been a satisfied customer . Both sales and service are excellent. Special shout out to Mike McKinley , who is undoubtedly the best service advisor and the reason my car gets serviced only at Sun .........................thanks guys !

Absolutely always love Ferris. Very helpful and is definitely family to us. I live in Brandon only 10 mins from the Toyota there, but the customer service I get from them is NO where near the levels of customer service I get from Sun Toyota. Every member is absolutely AMAZING. Ferris, Rammie, John L and my new service advisor go to Marc L. They exceed customer service beyond anything and anywhere else. They're worth the hour drive! Thank you for always treating us as family. So grateful to share pre-pregnancy to now my daughter is 3 years old with Sun Toyota. However, one flaw today. Made me a bit disappointed and disgusted, one member stood out because the way they were dressed, wasn't the Sun Toyota way. Everyone is dressed professionally, but this one was wearing leggings almost like yoga pants. Just wasn't something I wanted to see. I never post anything bad or negative but I hope they address the dress code.

My man Rammie Hamdan did a excellent job showing me the certified preowned Sienna Vans. We found a sweet one owner 2014 Sienna bought and completely serviced the life of the vehicle at Sun. They also offer an incredible lifetime unlimited mileage power train warranty! This won t be the last vehicle we purchase at Sun Toyota!

Is it me or does it seem like some of these reviews have been skewed tremendously to a point where I had to experience it myself? Perhaps, one of the advisors in the service department wasn't having the best day since we are all aware that we don't live in a perfect world or perhaps, he discriminates against some of his new clients belittling them like if we were a child. Perhaps, he isn't passionate about being a service advisor to begin with which it still never too late to earn a degree at a college. Whatever the case it may be, I hope the best of luck to him wherever his journey takes him. And please, if the service manager is reading my comment, it's crucial to sustain your colleagues by being a flexible team leader acknowledging the team members' strengths and weaknesses. How else would you expect them to learn from their mistakes and grow in order to become successful? The key to happiness is all about self control, determination, and mental attitude. Back on track, the service advisor name Lance kindly greeted me until he attempted to prove me wrong that the weight of the motor synthetic oil 0w-20 and 5w-20 can have a significant impact on the longevity of the vehicle. Not necessarily if the vehicle is up too par in maintenance, it wouldn't make a night and day difference unless if you live upstate. Lance claimed that the price can also fluctuate depending on the weight of the motor oil which is a misleading statement. He implied that the full synthetic 5w-20 oil change for a Toyota Tundra (8 cylinders) is about $80 dollars versus a full synthetic 0w-20 oil change is about roughly $30-40 dollars. I'm sorry but I CAN NOT justify myself spending double the amount due to the difference in weights of the motor oil. Otherwise, I would have to rate my experience at Sun Toyota a 2 stars. It's not right that some of the service advisors are scam artists in disguise waiting for its next naive clients or that would be considered a misdemeanor crime in the state of Florida as false advertisement since Sun Toyota will (KEYWORD) PRICE MATCH its competitors.

Worked with Lee Houston on my Highlander. Good guy, not a whole lot of back and forth, and worked with me. I headed to Sun Toyota based on their selection and reviews. I have another Toyota that I bought elsewhere and my experience there wasn't as good as at Sun Toyota. Check their online selection, pick your car, and head in there and your experience will be just as good as mine. Not sure if any other salesmen, but ask for Lee and you'll be fine. I hate buying cars, but this one was easy, and other than time - which the whole thing always takes you about half a day, regardless of where you go - it didn't take much effort.

Jason was an exceptional salesperson. This was my son's first new vehicle and he could not believe how easy Jason made it for him. The car was ready when we arrived to test drive it and was perfectly detailed by the time we finished the paperwork. Our deal was better than the other dealer we shopped plus they gave us a 20/year 200,000 mile warranty at NO CHARGE! We will definitely buy our next vehicle there. Thanks Jason!

My experience at Suntoyota went well. Eddy the salesperson was very patient didn't push anything on me while I was looking at cars and got the best deal for the car that I wanted. I am very happy with my purchase. Now my family is buying a car through them. Thank you suntoyota

Miserable experience, I have my car for two months and I went to the dealer cause I wasn't contact by my financial company, and they told me that my loan wasn't approved and that they tried to contact me and I dont have any records in my phone and they treat me like a thief, they park there gulf cars around my car and notify me that if I move the car they will call the police and get me arrested. And they call there self professionals.

Mark was tremendously helpful as we are on a road trip and blew the fuses supporting the chargers. They were 5 yrs old and decided they were done. Despite the intense thunderstorm in the area, we we're quickly assisted and had the fuse issue resolved in less than 20 minutes. Thanks Mark for making our Labor Day road trip less painful.

Salesman Jesse Waller did a fantastic job with our deal. He really worked hard for me to get the best possible price. I traveled from St. Pete to Holiday, passing 2 other Toyota dealers along the way, to do business with Jesse. Very knowledgeable and doesn t just talk the talk. Actually walks the walk. He too has a 4Runner so he really knows his stuff when it comes to that truck. I am sure he knows all the rest too but he is like a personal Google when it comes to the 4Runner. The dealership was great and the parts guy Willy worked like crazy to get my truck ready for same day pick up. I bought my last car from a Dodge dealership in Tampa and it was not near the delight that it was at this dealership. Thank you Sun Toyota, Jesse and Willy for making this happen. 100% satisfied.

I will say firstly that I visited many Toyota dealerships all over Florida and beyond and none compared to my experience here with Tommy "Chills" at Sun Toyota. I finally was able to purchase a new 2020 Rav4 at a great price with no pressure or drama...Just an overall great experience. I will say before buying here I would have rather had teeth pulled than go to a car dealership but I am highly recommending this dealership to friends and family alike and will certainly do business with them happily in the future. Once again after trying to find a car locally, my wife and I found ourselves at Sun Toyota. The selection was far superior and the salesman, Willie, was very helpful and listened to our needs.

We went to buy a new car but found 2011 Avalon with all the options we wanted.

while preparing our purchase damage was accidentally done to the front bumper (minor paint). Sun has arranged to have it repainted and supply us with a free rental.

My overall experience in purchasing my 2017 Corvette from Sun Toyota was outstanding. Lillyan Swensen worked with me from the very beginning of the sales process over the internet and was extremely responsive to all of my questions with great followup throughout.

My experience once at the dealership was pleasant, and I was treated with respect throughout. The vehicle was in perfect condition and ready for my test drive once I arrived. We were able to align on the price of the Corvette and the value of my trade-in in short order and we had ourselves a deal!

Had a very positive experience at Boch. The salesman, Eddy selguro, was able to get me a lot of information regarding the used vehicle that I was interested in prior to my arrival at the dealership. I have a very difficult schedule and when I went for the test drive the vehicle was ready and waiting for me with a plate already on it. Eddy and Jason in finance was able to take care of the paperwork in a prompt fashion and was very courteous and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. Recently moved to the area and needed to purchase a car. Was a little worried because my last car buying experience was so forced. Well thank goodness I did my research, because I found an amazing place. I was greeted by a laid back guy out front named rich. Not only was he friendly, he was personal with every detail of buying this car. This guy seriously knows this stuff :) only con that I have is there was a minor dent in the car that I nor rich noticed. And the car was suppose to be detailed before I received it and it was not, so now I will have to pay out of pocket to get it done myself. Also finance took way longer than it should've, came back the next day to sign papers and was told we were next only to wait for a finance deal to be finished with another family. Out of 5 stars I give this place 4! Will be coming back next year to get another car forsure from rich !!

Mr. Thomas Tsilionis is the epitome of customer service par excellence. Very informative,very knowledgeable and always serves his cutomer with a smile. Does not go around the bush and tries very hard to meet the customer s demand.He is there fir you until you have concluded your business with Sun Toyota. Bravo Zulu for a job well done, Thomas. On the other hand , your people in finance, in particular, Davey Ridout needs to learn or maybe needs to be informed that he is in a customer service business. Obnoxiously loud with a major major attitude problem. When things did not go his way, he left the cutomer hanging in his office. Needs a big wake up call from the dealership owner to put him in his rightful place.

Great experience with sun toyota,sales rep Christian Soca is the man for the job,gives you details about all you need to know about the car your purchasing and runs it smooth and is bilingual which is another plus!!!. Willy Patti was an excellent salesperson who had great knowledge on the vehicles on the lot. He was thorough and nice without being pushy. Yvonne, the finance lady, was just learning a brand new finance system so she was rather slow, but thorough and a very nice lady. The $1,000 finance and $1,000 trade in shown on the website was rather deceiving. We thought that 2k would come off the price of the vehicle, but instead it was added. Also, the $995. dealer prep fee is a crock. We were also not offered the $25 Visa reward card. Other than that, things went well.

Sun Toyota had plenty of cars that fit my criteria. The up front, supportive, and overall positive service that met me when I came in will have me referring the salesman that I worked with, Mohsen, to anyone in my circle who might be thinking about a new car.

I could have gone to a much closer Toyota dealership to purchase my first car, but I chose Sun Toyota and I don't regret it! Young Kim was very patient, communicative and honest with me. I had a lot of questions and choices, but I felt that Young Kim was able to make me feel at ease with no worries that I was getting cheated. He had a lot of knowledge in the car I was interested in and followed up with me every step of the way. Thanks for making my first car buying experience pain free and exciting! Although there may be a lot of Toyota dealerships to go to, I would definitely recommend that anyone reach out to Young Kim for a great car buying experience.

If I could give ZERO stars I would but you're forced to put at least 1. This dealership is full of employees who are rude, lie to you and difficult to deal with. We went to Sun in August of 2014 because they mailed us a "pre-approved" letter. When we met with the salesman he basically wouldn't show us anything except the 2014 Camry even when I told him it was more expensive than we would like, he said "they could make it work", we spent HOURS with him while they tried to put a deal together and when they couldn't make the numbers work after almost 4 hours (plus an hour drive there) we left but not before our sales rep Dan Bateman got an attitude with us and became extremely rude because we wouldn't "Try the high payment", seriously, they asked me to just try making a payment I said I could not afford. Fast forward to March 2015 where I get pulled over for having a "stolen tag" and come to find out that they transferred my tag before we even signed any paperwork and then NEVER transferred it back! I called and left messages for someone to call me back, no call back. Then I call and get Donald in accounting on the line and he is rude with me, the person who was treated like a criminal for a mistake HE MADE. This is one of the absolute worst dealerships I have ever dealt with, I would NEVER recommend them. I have told everyone I know to stay far, far away from them and I will continue to do so. Save yourself a lot of trouble and headache and go somewhere else. I ended up buying a car recently from Crown Kia and they were amazing, a completely different experience and it went so much better than with Sun.

Bought a couple brand new vehicles here, and won t earn our business for the the 3rd brand new vehicle. We have had several incidents of the same issue, took to service - mind you my service guy is amazing! - but talked to managers and they are about as useless as can be. We continuously get a different story from each person, no one can fix it. Mind you the DAY we bought it, our truck had to be in service. Still having same issue. Now shopping somewhere else due to this.

was cordially greeted by your employee, and soon was assigned to Joe Koenn in Service area.
He was friendly, yet efficient in writing my service ticket.
About one hr later I was told that my car was almost ready and soon I paid my bill and drove away.
About one half of a mile from Sun Toyota something started making a loud scraping noise and soon I realized that the engine protection plate, normally mounted under the engine, fell down. This made driving on the US 19 somewhat dangerous, plus I was about to lose a rather costly Mercedes part.
After several stops to make the possible adjustments I made it home to Cobbs Landing subdivision,
promptly called Joe Koenn, told him what happened. He expressed his concerns about the mishap and said that the Sun Toyota would make the necessary repairs. I suggested that I would attempt to repair the problem and 2 hrs later I called Joe's line to tell him that I was able to fix the cover.

Just purchased my second Tacoma from Sun Toyota. Tommy "Chills" was great to work with. Before you buy a new or used car or truck I highly recommend you go see the team at Sun Toyota.

The best Toyota dealership in Florida, I love the management and God bless John Marrazi and his family, wish I could have stayed in Florida and build a career at this dealership.

This establishment takes advantage of senior citizens! They saw my grandparents coming from a mile away. They added every "extra" possible onto the loan. When my husband and I called to speak to Ed Welch (Loan Manager) he was never available and never returned our calls. After weeks of waiting and additional attempts to contact him we finally received the cancellation form. When I called to ask questions as to which plan was which I was met with a rude and abrasive gentleman. His response to my question was "are you trying to lower your monthly payments?" and then proceeded to tell me "cancelling won't lower them, it will only take money off of the principle of the loan." This is perfectly fine, we just want the unnecessary add ons gone! The vehicle itself is wonderful, but the experience of purchasing the vehicle from Sun Toyota has been nothing short of awful!

They may sell nice cars but beware of their extended warranty claims. They are worth nothing. It's not by the dealer or the manufacturer. It's a third party company that will screw you over. This goes for both their lifetime warranty or their 20yr/200k warranty. I have a lifetime warranty on my powertrain. Sun toyota would not take responsibility for it. They claim its the third party company that owns it and all dealings will need to go through them. Yet they lead everyone one to believe it's a dealers warranty. The third party company wants to charge me for a full engine rebuild for something that is covered under lifetime. I will see them all in court.

Brandon Ninski was our sales rep and went out of his way to ensure we got a car that satisfied our driving needs. He even offered to come in on his day off to help us with our decision. This extra effort was critical in helping us make a decision. If it were not for Brandon's "can do" attitude we would not have bought a Toyota. We purchase a CH-R which we had never seen or heard of before we walked into the dealership. We love it. George A Mandalou

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM SUN TOYOTA EVER! I had bought a certified Toyota Prius from Sun Toyota in New Port Richey back on 02/08/14. My friend and I had stopped into the dealership to look into trading in my Infiniti; I was looking for a car with better fuel economy since I drive a lot for my job. I had selected a 2011 certified Prius with 47,000 miles. Throughout the sales process it was NEVER disclosed to me (and my friend who was with me at the time later confirmed this) that my car was involved in a rear end collision just a few months prior to me having purchased it! I would later find out that the crash my car was involved in was severe enough for the police to respond and resulted in the complete replacement of the rear end section of my Prius.

In retrospect, finding out my car was involved in such an accident actually helped explain the on-going problems I had with my car since having purchased it from Sun Toyota. The first thing I had noticed was that my stereo would sometimes work or not work (the unit would go on and off without me actually turning in on or off?) I would bring it into the dealership. When they would inspect it, they would not be able to repeat the malfunction so they never would fix the problem. I have brought the car into the Sun Toyota Service Center at least 5 times for this issue alone without any resolution. Then, I noticed my hatch back license plate lights would sometimes work, not work, or one would work, when my lights for the car were turned on. Back to the dealership I went for this problem several times, again without any resolution. Eventually, Sun Toyota s Service Center told me it was an electrical problem not covered under my certified Toyota warranty. Then one morning I had noticed my rear bumper was coming unattached from the car. Upon further inspection, I found the bumper was not attached correctly to the frame of the car. At the time I just assumed someone had ran into my bumper in a parking lot or something. However, now I know better.

This takes us to about three weeks ago when I brought the car back to Sun Toyota to look into trading it in for a newer Prius model. Upon my discussion with one of the sales associates in Sun Toyota Used Car Center it was revealed to me for the first time that my car was in an accident. To make matters worse, Sun Toyota was claiming that they could not give me the full value for my trade-in because the car had been in an accident! I was furious and explained to the sales associate that I had never known about my car having been in an accident. He told me that they had disclosed it to me when I had bought my car. When I asked for the signed Car Fax proving that they had disclosed it to me, he told me that they would get me a copy. It took three weeks for me to get a copy and nearly an hour at the dealership waiting for them to make me a copy of it, but of course I was right I did not sign the Car Fax!

Please do not buy a car from this dealership! Their sales department is awful, the level of disrespect and dismissiveness I have received is truly unforgivable for a business. Shame on Toyota Corporate for allowing such an establishment to bear their corporate name. I am now saddled with a car that no dealership wants to buy because of the accident it was involved in and a car that is literally falling apart around me. Take your hard earned money elsewhere and avoid Sun Toyota in New Port Richey at all costs!

Our salesperson was Nick Nardello. He was great from start to finish! Very informative, NO runaround. Honestly the best car buying experience I ve had in a long time. I would definitely recommend seeking out Nick if you re looking for a new Toyota!
