Jason Bullock was my salesman. He was very helpful, polite, friendly and had excellent customer service. He answered all my questions/concerns and helped me find the car I was looking for. We even took it for a test drive.
I would recommend him 100% to anyone if they are coming to Sun Toyota to look at and purchase a vehicle!!

I had an unexpected problem with my car and needed to take it in immediately for repair. I also had commitments that could not be changed for that afternoon and the following 3 days. Michael McKinley totally surpassed my expectations! He worked with diagnosticians to determine if the car would need to be left, helped me get a rental car for the evening, and offered several options for getting me back into my car the next day. I am so impressed and grateful for his help.

I just found out some really sad news. Sun Toyota just fired one of their best sales people. I know there is 2 sides to a story but I have known Mr Carlos Allicock for almost 5 years now. He is kind, very intelligent, polite and always helpful. He has always gone out of his way to see that my car and truck desires were met! My husband and I were even thinking of purchasing another vehicle, but not now! Sun Toyota has plenty of other sales people they should have gotten rid of before Carlos. There are rude sales people there in my opinion, there are lazy ones, that I see just sittings around every time I'm in the dealership. By firing Carlos , Sun Toyota just loss me as a customer, I will never refer anyone to them again, as I have several times in the past. It's a shame that it's the good people who pay the price for not being perfect!

Thanks Sun for restoring my faith in customer service. I gladly drove past two other Toyota stores in Pinellas county to meet with a man who knows the product. James Smith within one hour had my 2010 Tacoma valued at a good appraised value, I personally spoke with KK the manager who listened to my diligent service learned of the new tires and brakes. They went beyond my expectations with a excellent discount for a 2016 Tacoma Limited they traded with another dealer. I returned two days later to get the exact truck I wanted with the options I asked for, Mr Kevin Perkins signed us up in my opinion they gave me a great deal on warranty for tires and wheels. I returned the next day bought mud flaps for less than any of the dealers in my area. You want a great deal without wasting hours of negotiation contact James Smith and KK. I would also say it is worth the drive for parts and service this is the fifth Toyota for me.
Sun will see you in a few years for the sixth. Until then if I know anyone in the market I will advise them that Sun Toyota is the place to go.

The service was quick but the computer was down. I did not receive my invoice for service. Then when everything was done I was informed that the car wash was also down which was fine I understand things happen. Apologies were made and i went on about my day with a dirty car. I was told by the service person that she would send me the invoice but she didn't verify any of my information. I would like to know if my invoice is coming and how.

Denise is so helpful. That lady should get a promotion and raise! The restaurant inside has a great menu and reasonable prices....not to mention awesome free coffee.

We purchased a vehicle from Sun Toyota on March 6th and it has been a horrible experience post sale. The vehicle was at a sister location which was transported down no problems but when we went to pick up the vehicle we were told all we needed were the keys and to leave the keys to our trade and we'd be good to go.

Firstly, the deal was NOT done at the time of pick up yet the took our trade and released the car anyway. We called multiple times to find out what the status of everything was, where our paperwork was and what is taking so long to get it to us. Come to find out, the finance manager did not get all the information he needed and never finalized any of the paperwork including sending the lender our information to approve and finalize our loan.

At one point, the person on the other end told us NOT to drive the vehicle we just purchased since we dont yet own it. Flash forward a few days - We drove down to talk to someone in person and finally got our loan paperwork and everything else thinking that was the last thing we had to do.

Nope. On the contract we signed, SunToyota wrote down that the pay off was scheduled for March 20th for our trade. Flash forward to today, 4/10 and our trade has still not been paid off. WE HAD TO MAKE A PAYMENT ON A CAR WE NO LONGER OWN BECAUSE SUN TOYOTA DRAGGED THEIR FEET ON OUR DEAL FOR SO LONG. They didnt care saying "Oh you'll get a refund" blah blah blah. Thats not the point TYLER (the person we worked with), the point is that we are now out a car payment and left with extreme frustration about the whole thing and no one, NOT ONE SINGLE PERSON has apologized for the inconvenience which at this point is moot.

If you buy a car from them beware. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Our family has purchased cars from them for as long as they've been open and get our vehicles serviced there but we'll no longer be recommending or buying from them again.

I just purchased a 2019 Toyota Avalon. I was having difficulty with the entertainment system and the salesperson who was new, was trying her best to assist me.The system is brand new and very complex, so it can be overwhelming. A young man saw what was going on and stepped in to help me out. Eddie Chavez was extremely patient explaining everything pertaining to the audio/navigation system and made sure I left knowing everything I needed to know in order to take full advantage of the complex system. Without his input, I'm not sure I would have finalized my purchase. Thank you Eddie!

I just got done buying my second vehicle through Sun Toyota. Each time I ve been there, my wife and I have had an incredible experience. The sales team is made up of a fantastic set of teammates and sales professionals That will bend over backwards to help you get into a vehicle that you want. We're so thankful for Pat Chaban and Jason Moduano. They are life savers, they got us into a new vehicle with no money down after someone hit and totalled our car. Never had a problem with Toyota and everyone is so nice and will help you get into a vehicle.

So, I have contact at least ten dealership looking for a dealership that was willing to help me in looking for a new tundra, for a reasonable price. Out of all the dealership I contacted in the area Sun Toyota was the only dealership willing to be transparent and work with me throughout the whole process. Nick Nardello was awesome, he kept in constant communication throughout the whole process, not only that when I came into the dealership he explained everything to me was very knowledgeable, and got me out of the dealership and in my new car within an hour. Not only that I was greeted by the manager Ty who thanked me for my business. I greatly appreciate how I was treated at Sun Toyota I will be back to get some accessories added to my vehicle and to buy a vehicle for my wife. Thank you sun!!

Jose Sanchez was professional, dedicated and very positive in helping us find a specific Tacoma. It took 4 months to find it and then he arranged for a great deal! Jose stayed in touch with us every few days as we searched for a trade-in that matched what we wanted. He responded to every phone call, greeted us warmly every time we stopped by the dealership, and seemed almost as excited as we were when we finally found the Tacoma we were looking for. Was the most enjoyable car buying experience we have ever had. We highly recommend Jose!!

I bought a 2018 C-HR recently from this dealership and I love the vehicle!! The only problem I had was it had no car mats , they said it didn't come with them after I got the vehicle ( I thought all vehicles came with them ..lol) to make the story short, I tried everything to find out why and was told it was something I had to buy .I was upset that I had to and some people that work in different areas tried yo help me ( so appreciated by the ones who did) but I left with no mats . The next morning a young lady name Brandee called me at work and said she got mats for me .I was totally floored by what she said, Brandee took the time and worked on my issue to make a customer happy ......Brandee you are a great employee there and I want to give you 100 (Stars) for a job that wasn't yours to handle but you went the extra mile for me and did the job amazingly well..i am greatful for all you did. I will be seeing your smiling face on my visits back there in the future.

I had the pleasure of work with Tommy "Chills" when I went to look for a new car on 9/21. Tommy is awesome! he took the time to show me different cars and finally decided on a 2015 Corolla which I loved. I drove it home that night and all week until I got the call to sign the contract. Tommy called on Friday 9/28 to come to the dealership to sign the contract. I was just leaving work and our AC does not work right so I have hot and exhausted on top of being sick for 2 weeks. Tommy was waiting for me when I got there and made sure Greg knew I was waiting which didn't take long at all. When I went to see Greg in finance he totally surprised me by telling me a 2019 Corolla would better fit my budget so I was very happy and when with Tommy to pick out my new car. Tommy made sure it got to wash and detail so I wouldn't have to wait long and Greg had Jason get my contract ready because he was with another customer and didn't want me to wait. I left there a very happy person despite my work situation. I had an AWESOME!!! experience and am definitely recommending Sun Toyota to all my friends and family! THANK YOU! I moved to Florida last year. My Avalon was due for its 75K service. I asked a neighbor of mine for a reference for a Toyota dealership. Based on his experience with said dealerships in the immediate area, he recommended Sun Toyota. So, I made an appointment for the required service. I was not disappointed. Dan Staal, Service Writer, greeted me upon my arrival. He reviewed the previous service records for the Avalon and advised me what twas required. Dan stated the service would take approximately one hour to complete. Dan then provided a quick tour of the Sun Toyota facility with which I was very impressed. Shortly after one hour, Dan advised the service had been completed. The service invoice was very reasonable, was paid and Dan thanked me for choosing Sun Toyota. I am very pleased with this service experience, and will return for the next required service.
I also need to say that Chenise (sp-?) was very friendly and helpful when calling to establish the service appointment. I appreciated her clarity.

Buying was good but 20 year 200000 mi power train warranty is a joke, tried to use it on an engine oil leak and was denied because the tires didn t get rotated. With all my services done there it was never recommended in the 8000 mile I ve had the car I bought this car there just for the warranty but now it s not worth the paper it s written on. Never will I trust them again.

I tried it delete my review but it won t let me, after talking to my salesperson Monica and the service manager Eric I changed my review to 5 stars. He informed me that he was looking into the situation and would cover the warranty for me, I thank him and Sun Toyota for standing by their product.

The Sun location in Holiday offers a lifetime warranty and that truly is an amazing deal. The new Camry is a beautiful car. I had Ed as my contact and he was very helpful intruding to find a car to match all my wants.

Our 96 Camry had 192000 miles on it and we were looking for a replacement. They had lots of cars to chose from and our biggest decision was: what color. As an ASE Certified Auto Technician for over 20 years I have noticed that the Toyotas last the longest with less maintenance. The crew at the dealership was very helpful and friendly, Thanks BO and Thomas. We will be back for our 2nd car for sure.
Kathy was uneasy at first to replace her car but when she found our that it was to be donated to help a needy family, we were very impressed that they did this and was very happy to let it go.

I agree with a few others, that I would give them a zero. Drove 6 hours to try an purchase a 2012 BMW 328i from this dealership. I got negative equity on my trade in and we were $500 out from making a deal. So I walked away. Less than a week after I left, they dropped the car another $500 as a internet special, but wouldn't drop $500 to make the deal. Then I get an email saying how they needed trade in's and would paid $500 more than any other. Don't believe the hype. They don't stick to there words. I thought the whole purpose of a car dealership was to sell cars, and then the best they could do was split 500 dollars. This was the worst car buying experience I ever had. To top that off I was already pre-approved with a bank draft in hand to make the purchase. I guess they didn't won't my business. So I took my business some where else that wanted my business and money. A very disappointing experience. I would not recommend anyone to visit this dealership after my experience. By the way the car is still there sitting. Good Luck selling it.

Probably the worst dealership I have ever been to - wasted an hour of time. Looked at a car listed at $17k and with the fees came out to $25k. Complete waste of time and a joke of a dealership.

I have been going there for years! I think is is one of the best services centers there is. Even after moving from the area 2 years ago, I still think it is worth the 2 hour drive to go there for most things and all Major things. Occasionally I do go local for a straight oil change but only because it's difficult to justify the 4 hour round trip for something as simple as that. My service guy is Greg Gamble and he always takes good care of me, keeps me posted on progress and doesn't try to sell me stuff I don't yet need. Thank you Greg

Recently I bought a new truck there. After owning a Tacoma for seven years and after giving it some abuse while putting a whole bunch of miles on it, I finally had to consider upgrading after buying a new camper. I did shop around, after all it is a major purchase, but had decided not to commit to anything before giving Sun Tyota a shot because they had been so good to me over the years.

Boy! Am I glad I did. Nobody came even close to the Deal that Sun gave me. My sales person was Jen Raborn. She knew everything about the vehicles I looked at. Trying to decide between a 4Runner and a Tundra, I swayed towards the truck for superior pulling power. But I must say, those 4Runner's are Nice to drive. The whole process was just a "pleasant day out". I spent hours there and Jen never appeared frustrated at the time I was taking. She just hung in there answering all my questions (and there were many).

When I returned to pickup the truck a few days later, it was once again Jen that coordinated everything. She had the truck nicely detailed and ready to go. She helped me setup the interface between my phone and the truck, something I didn't really understand. Thank you Jen.

Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and 5 stars just isn't enough !

If you are referred to this dealership from a friend or family, make an appointment at the dealership. If you call and make an appointment there is a high probability that they will not call you back. I live around the corner called in asking for questions about a regular oil lube and filter maintenance. It's taking a three-day process just to not have someone call me back. I called them back today just to get the runaround.

I cannot say my rating us for the company as a whole. However it is for my personal experience. I have talked with a lot of car dealerships and sales persons over the years and this one by far is the worst experience I have ever had. I spoke to a total of 3 people. 2 out of the 3 treated me like it was a hassle to help me. The sales representative, Leslie, and I spoke through text message only. I spoke with one unknown customer service representative via text message. And i spoke with another customer service representative, Bobby, on a phone call. Bobby was friendly and happy to help. The unknown customer service representative and sales representative, Leslie, both treated me like it was a burden to help me. Now I can only come to the conclusion this is because we spoke through text message. However when a company not only accepts, but refers you to talk via text message you would think it would not be an issue. So I do not know. All I know is I wanted to buy a car and they had one I liked. I attempted to reach out to get the process started and make sure its available before I drive to the dealership, as I always have done at other dealerships. I was told the car sold but then two days later it was back up for sale on the website. And then once I inquired about it a second time it was immediately removed again. Overall the experience was disheartening and just seemed like it was a hassle to help me. I recommend that you do not contact via text message. I hope everyone else has a better experience than I did. Unfortunately the actions two representatives have lost that company my business. Good luck to all of you. Perfect! I saw my dream car (BMW Z4) online at Sun Toyota's used car dealership. Decided to take a drive "Just to see it". It was immaculate, I test drove it, fell in love, and bought it. The price was just below KBB, I got no high pressure sales tactics and when I pointed out an issue with the windshield (was missing some weather stripping) they replaced the whole windshield with a brand new one. Best experience I've had with a car dealership!

I had an oil change and a car wash and wax service. The bill reflected the wrong oil, but it was changed immediately by my service rep Travis. The wax and wash was done very well, but the guys forgot to finish the roof. No problem at all. The service manager John said bring it in whenever you can and they promised to complete the roof immediately. They not only kept their promise, but Travis was the perfect gentleman and corrected the problem himself quickly. I have been buying and leasing cars for more than 45 years. Very seldom is everything always perfect. I believe the strength of a car dealership is in the service reps. taking charge and feeling empowered to fix problems quickly and perfectly. Love Sun Toyota been here a couple times after we bought a car from them it has a great waiting area and the best employees that help you with whatever you need they give you free water and a free donut (while supplies last) and free coffee hot chocolate and hot tea they also sell food if you go try the bacon ranch chicken quesadilla its really good or the burgers anything there is really good.

Don't take your car here if you need your car serviced and body work done in the same trip. I call them can only get one thing done, Sun... Toyota. They couldn't seem to get the service department services and the body shop services figured out after my car being there for two weeks. An employee from both deptartments assured me they would handle it and all would be fine. I have spent so much money at this delarship and they completely set me back an entire day off, costing me so much money. They can't seem to figure out how to do body work and routine maintenance on one vehicle in the same drop; because, their body shop and service department are a mile apart. Thanks for fixing my front end and destroying my whole day off when I picked it. Had to wait till my next day off to finally get my car service done. Wouldn't you know, I took my car to another dealership, and it's the same owners. So, they got paid regardless. Good for them.

Incompetent, rude, and unprofessional. I've owned Toyotas for over 25 years and this is the worst dealership I've ever encountered by far. Since this is my closest Toyota dealership, my next car will NOT be a Toyota.

Sun Toyota took my trade for a brand new Toyota Tundra it was all signed and done. Month goes by and come to find out my trade in truck was never paid off in the time period that was given. Sun Toyota said not to worry about the payment because they were going to pay it off and never did. Since its been over a month the late payment was reported by Southeast Toyota Finanace as a late payment. Sun Toyota will not acknowledge to get it fixed even though it was a failure on their end. Future buyers please be aware that your trade is paid off in full as they say because it may happen to you.

Drove out quite a distance from where I live because they had a make and model I wanted and because of their "come test drive and get a gift card" promotion. The salesperson that took us out for a test drive was on his phone the whole time and barely answered our questions. We went inside to fill out a form so that we could get the gift card as promised for doing a test drive, which by the way we never received in the mail after Jason said it would be mailed to us. Once inside he got extremely pushy, more than any sales folks I've interacted with. All of the sudden he was more interested in the customer. It was to a point that I was uncomfortable and decided to buy somewhere else. He had no respect for our time, we said we had to make a dinner reservation he kept dragging out the "gift card paperwork" saying he had an issue printing it and made us late. When we finally said we had to go, he magically got the issue fixed. But no gift card ever arrived. Why offer a promotion and not bother following through? Maybe if we had good service we would've returned. Instead, we received a slew of aggravating and pushy text messages after we left. Like I mentioned before, we decided to buy somewhere else from someone who was much more pleasant to deal with and treated us with respect.
