I recently purchased a 2014 Honda CR-V from this dealership and I had an excellent experience with my salesman, Jerome Ravenell and the Sales Manager, Samual Middleton. This was my 2nd Honda CRV purchase in the last 5 years and I continue to go back to Honda because of the service and the value of the car. I loved the time Jerome took to show me all the new features on the new CRV and the fact that he got us in and out in less than 2.5 hours. Also, the VIP Sales Manager, Lyndon Wright, was wonderful. He went over all the inside features of my radio, hands -free devices and other features again before I left. My only complaint was that I was not impressed with the Financial counselor, Erica. I found her to be rather impersonal and treated me as if I was stupid. But Jerome and Samual more than made up for her lack of personal attention and demeanor. Thanks again to all of them for their great work and personal attention!!!
My shopping experience here this past week disappointed me. Four years ago my wife and I bought a Honda Fit from Stokes and had a great experience. This time around, looking to trade my car in for a CR-V, I expressed only that I wanted to test drive the car which I did. Then, they asked me if I wanted my trade-in appraised and I said sure. They did so and they had a rather terrible offer for my trade-in and also a terrible price on the car. That's fine. That's just regular car sales stuff. Just beware their trade-in offers initially are pretty bad. A competing dealership offered me more money over the internet without having looked at the car first.
The worst part was they had a whole car sheet ready to go for me to sign on the the line after I expressed a number of times that I WAS NOT BUYING TODAY. In any case, after spending an hour discussing something I had not intended to discuss when I visited, which was fine, I left feeling quite disappointed by the pressure tactics.

My first and the worst experience. Dropped my car off at 9AM told me the would have my car ready. They gave me a comp. car wash for waiting so long but told me it would take 10 to 15 mins. I've been sitting here for over an hour already. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!! Penny was the only professional person I had any contact with today!

Stopped by for an oil change and a tire rotation. Didn't expect to stay more than an hour or so. It ended up being 3 hours, because there was a recall on a part in my car. It wasn't a bad experience, but I've definitely had way better experiences at other Honda locations. I think the customer service could be improved (people were very disregarding of me) and that the inside of the waiting area could be cleaner and offer a few comfier seats. That said, I know I have a high standard for Honda dealership service.

Salesman was great( PJ & Alex ) , finance person is a piece of work . Did not even try to run my credit through the bank that I told him . He told me that I will get the same interest rate because interest rate change . What do you think an interest rate would run for a person that have 825 credit score ??
I went to Stokes Honda after my time in the army and had a great experience, my second visit was not so great the sales person was nice and friendly but my credit isn't the best as soon as we saw this he told me that he would call me one way or the other. This never happened I called to check on things the first time I was transferred to some random guys phone then to a voice mail. Unfortunately my grand father has bought 5 cars from them and I was just thrown to the side. I am unfortunately not a fan of the Stokes brand anymore...

We came in to buy a car yesterday. Kathleen herself was AMAZING! However, the sales manager was horrible and lost this place a sale. We told Kathleen where we were at number wise. She grabbed her manager and he wrote it down saying that he would check some things and be right back. We sat for a while waiting. During that time, Kathleen shared a lot if her knowledge about different cars and the one we were trying to buy. Again, she's amazing! Finally, Kathleen said she was going to see where he went. He just decided to go to a meeting and NEVER came back to us!!! He told her he couldn't do the number we wanted when she found him. Next step for us would have been to find another car on the lot. But, his serious lack of professionalism cost the dealership a sale yesterday . We went down the road to TruAuto, bought a nicer version if the same car for the price we wanted and left very happy with out purchase. Stokes Honda North lost us as customers yesterday and TruAuto gained some.*** EDIT*** IT wasn't a financing issue. My daughter has perfect credit. The manager went back to see if he could give us the price we wanted on the car. He couldn't and that would've been fine. The problem was...HE NEVER CAME BACK to tell us! He didn't respect our time. He just figured he wasn't getting the sale and didn't come back to tell us or our saleslady. That was the issue. Financing was no issue. We didnt get that far.
My daughter had a recent accident and her 2008 Crv had a total loss. I called Kathleen at Stokes Honda right away because we were not sure what to do. My daughter did not have a car to drive, and she would need to return to work soon. Kathleen went right to work finding my daughter a reliable vehicle to fit her budget. She also had a finance professional named Mike to help her step through the insurance claim process using her Gap insurance. Stokes Honda and Kathleen and Mike are all people who help with full service to make this a very easy process. This is definitely the place to come when you need a new car.

I bought my 2008 Accord at Stokes Honda. The air conditioner started malfunctioning (blowing cold air on one side and hot air on the other). I took it to Stokes for repair and a short time later it was malfunctioning again. I took the car back to have the AC repaired and the same problem returned. I then took the car to a mechanic in Goose Creek and he fixed it and the problem hasn't returned after several weeks. I won't be returning to Stokes.
Ask for miss Michelle Grooms! She went above and beyond to help me with what I was looking for. I spent weeks looking for a car in my price range and although I did end up finding a different model elsewhere, she took her time to get the monthly payments down on a brand new car I was going for. She made me feel comfortable as well as important with my needs on finding the right car and price. Very personable, professional and all around a great sales woman. My aunt was very skiddish with her new car purchase. So I decided to over see the sale to make sure everything went smoothly. Upon meeting our salesmen, yaya shurafa, our worries vanished. We were met with courtesy, honesty, and respect, which is rare in car sales. I double checked all the paperwork, only to find that everything was accurate. I have purchased over 4 vehicles personally in 5 years and all of them had negative sides. But not at stokes. Honesty and customer service is their main priority. Especially Mr. Shurafa in particular. I can assure you our next honda purchase will be from Shurafa himself. The way everything was broken down and put in ways a old lady can understand and not be confused. Good job stokes. You should consider yaya for teaching/instructing sales staff, He is a major asset to your company......
