I trust this facility and the people who work there immensely. They take great care of my pups and are always so friendly.

Jaco has learned manners and socialization skills from Elliot Lara, Doggy Day Care Manager and Trainer par excellence and her terrific staff at Rover Oaks. Jaco was a sweet but pretty wild 1-year old, 70 pound rescue when we got him but in a few short weeks, he became a wonderful family member. He absolutely loves to go to RO!! He nearly runs me down the sidewalk to go be with the staff and his canine BFFs!
Rover Oaks has been wonderful to our pets, and to us. Our cat boarded there a couple of years ago and received red carpet treatment, down to daily play, the option to receive calls about how he was doing, and a "report card" of how he did with the staff at the end of his stay.
Our dog has been a doggie daycare regular at Rover Oaks for the last year, and their daycare service is exceptional. They give each dog a thorough behavioral evaluation and test their interaction with the existing group of dogs before approving anyone to come to daycare, or even to switch or add daycare days (different day, slightly different dog crowd). The staff let us know upon pick-up if they have any concerns at all about our dog's health or behavior based on how the day went, and don't hesitate to give dogs quiet crate time if they are overwhelmed or repeatedly misbehaving (including our dog!). They are patient and kind, but firmly responsible with all the dogs, and treat them as though they were their own. Everyone we as humans have interacted with at Rover Oaks has been nothing but kind, polite, and accommodating to us as well. I would recommend them 100%!
I love this place! Best place for pet lodging in the greater Houston area!
Milo loves his new friends (human and furry) at Rover Oaks. They are superb in their customer service in person, on the phone and via email. Milo was timid the first few visits walking in but the handlers took him under their wing and made sure he was welcomed and introduced him to the group in a way that made him LOVE his new day care. Now he RUNS inside when we drop him off. We were doing a daily walking service but it was only 30 minutes and trending $15 a day. Now Milo get a full day of play and socializing for a great price. We have also boarded him overnight and he even got to pick out his own bed time treat (so adorable). He is a much happier and fitter pup now since both my husband and I work full time during the day. We highly recommend Rover Oaks!
Rover Oaks is the best! We have been using them for grooming, daycare and boarding for years with 2 separate dogs. They have several daycare programs to meet your dogs needs. We had a sweet yellow lab that had quite a few health issues, so she attended their senior dog daycare. She loved it and the modifications that they provided were perfect for a dog with her needs. We now have a puppy that has been going to Rover Oaks for a couple of years. Their staff is incredible, from the grooming department, the daycare staff, the front desk, training and boarding. The facility is also very nice with great spacious outside areas for dogs to play. Our dog loves going to daycare and when we have to board her we are comforted knowing that she is being well cared for, and that shes having a great time!
The staff is always welcoming and friendly! Our sweet little Halo loves his time there and the groom g services are bar none! Quality, attention to detail and overall value is why we keep going back!
They are absolutely the best! They treat your pet like their own. My boxer loved his stay with Rover Oaks!!
Dropped out dog off here and had a great experience from drop off till pick up. Staff was friendly and will provide updates on your fur baby s wellbeing if you call and check on them. Also got a report card when you pick them up.
Oreo is been with Rover for boarding and grooming both excellent, staff super friendly welcome us and Oreo with our names , showed they care
The only thing is grommer change every year , we understand things happen but it is very stressful for my Oreo to get use to a new grommer other than this, place is excellent
For boarding I am extremely picky who will take care of Oreo when we go on vacation , we had use Rover twice on a private suit , my friends call every day asking how Oreo was doing and every day will give a full report they even care changing food because he didn t want to eat, he was depressed missing us I strongly recommend them
They take excellent care of our two little dogs. They have a well cared for facility, and they are well run!
We brought Winston for an overnight stay and he loved it!!! He spent time at doggie daycare with his friends, played in the pool, was given treats and was even tucked in at night!! Everyone who works at Rover Oaks treats him like he is their own.
Love the environment and the staff! I always feel confident when I drop of my dog to Rover! Service is always EXCEPTIONAL!!!!!
Rover Oaks is a truly extraordinary place. My cavalier starts wagging his tail as soon as we pull into the driveway! He goes to daycare, and we board him as well! Customer service is top notch! Super pleased with the entire experience!
Great experience! I love this place. Took my dog to doggie day care this week and she had a ball running around with all the dogs! Safe environment.
They take great care of our dog when we go off on weekends.
The staff at Rover Oaks, from the front desk personnel to the wonderful trainers, is exceptional. We brought our adopted puppy Bugsy in for a two week day camp training and we were so impressed at how much our dog learned in that short amount of time. We received a daily email report with video clips of the training sessions along with practice techniques for homework. The staff was so warm and welcoming, I knew Bugsy was in great hands. Rover Oaks exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be using them for board and train days in the future.
Great for large dog daycare. They have a large lot with grass and water for them to play outside and get rid of excess energy. Staff are excellent with the dogs and keep close watch. Additionally they are also exceedingly polite and courteous.
Edy thinks Rover Oaks is her Happy Home away from home.
She has been going there for years. We feel confident she is in excellent hands when we board her at Rover Oaks.
Our golden retriever, Minnie, looked so cute after her first grooming at Rover Oaks. The staff is so welcoming and friendly, the facilities are nice, and they do so well about calling and telling you how your dog did during the grooming. I love this place.
All of the staff at Rover Oaks are truly dog lovers and have given me the confidence that my dogs are a priority when in their care. From the training staff (Monica is definitely a dog whisperer) to the boarding and grooming staff, I know when my dogs are there, they re treated professionally and kindly. We have two Cairn Terriers (1 and 12 years old) and each time we walk in the front door, the dogs are wagging their tails and happy to be there. They re just as happy when we pick them up to go home. No trauma, no drama, just 360 good care that gives me incredible peace of mind that my dogs are in a safe and protected environment with a conscientious staff.
This Pet Resort is a wonderful place for your furry kids. The staff has a wonderful attitude day in and day out .Each and everyone of them make sure that your furry one has a great time while they are here. We have been going to Rover Oaks for almost 4 years and have NEVER had a bad experience.
Rover Oaks has the friendliest staff and have been so welcoming to our sweet pup. She was worn out after a day of playing. We can t stress enough how much we love Rover Oaks.
Blake is always excited to spend the night and she comes home happy and tired from playing with her friends
I can always tell that my dog is well cared for and receives lots of attention while I'm away!
Rover Oaks is the best boarding facility in the greater Houston area. My dog is always happy and taken care of. I have utilized the training department as well and they do a good job. We set goals for training and they meet those goals. I am very pleased with their efforts. While it is not the most economical place, it is well worth the money you will spend. This is a top-notch facility and I highly recommend it.
Rover Oaks is the best! They take such good care of my furbaby. The facility is clean, the staff well trained, and they all care deeply about the animals. I have only had the best experiences with them. I will only board my pet with them.
We have been bringing Sparky to Rover Oaks for both grooming and to stay when we are out - we have nothing but the highest praise for everyone!
Sparky has an injured leg, but Sherry and her team look after him very well and groom him carefully and he always looks so handsome when we bring him back home!
When we are out, we leave him for a few days or even a couple weeks - and Terri/Raquel and their team take awesome care of him! We are always wanting to know how he is doing and we are easily able to reach out and find out about him - they give us all the details (so we feel comfortable) and we never feel we are bothering them!
Sparky was quite wary at first, but now is getting comfortable with his visits - that to us is a clear sign that he is happy with everyone at Rover Oaks!!
Thanks again - everyone at Rover Oaks - for taking care of our baby!
Leslie is an extremely good groomer, will definitely be Ruby s permanent groomer!! Ruby looks beautiful! Thank you
Our cat is extremely well cared for and "loved on" by the techs at Meow Manor. We feel fortunate to have a place we trust to leave him when we go away. Kitty likes to play in the sink and watch the fish, and I enjoy reading the report card when we pick him up! L.J.
Our Lab went through their training program and goes weekly to Doggie Day Care, as well as boarded with them. Everyone there is very friendly, helpful, professional and patient. The facility is very clean too. When we pull up in the parking lot, she gets so excited. Makes us feel good to know that she is going someplace where she is so happy.
Rover Oaks took our pup in during a family emergency. The stay ended up being longer then expected and they were able to keep him the extra day. When I called to check in on our pup the phone was either answered or a prompt call was returned . Will definitely bring him back for daycare. I know they will be there for us again in an emergency, or scheduled stay. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our dog.
Oliver, our standard poodle, is a regular in the Monday and Wednesday packs. He loves doggie day care and we are pleased that he has such a wonderful opportunity to stretch those long legs. We notice that when we drop him off, he greets each of the caregivers, before he starts running with the other dogs. We also board him at Rover Oaks when we leave town. He used to be hesitant but now he runs right into the "hotel". We are thankful to have found such a great place for lodging and daycare. Oliver is also groomed to perfection at Rover Oaks - no small task on a 50 pound poodle.
What can I say...WOW! We started out with one dog at doggie daycare and she loved it..then we got our second dog..Willyg. WillyG was an abused puppy. He trusted no one. We gained his trust and showed him that we loved him so we at that point wanted him to go to doggy daycare with his sister. So we took him and the evaluation didn't go so well. So boarded him every week. The staff worked with him patiently and he gained their trust..never giving up on him. Then the doggie daycare staff creates a program for him to try to slowly get him into doggie daycare. They slowly introduced other dogs and staff to him every week for a month. Of course there were seatbacks..but not once did they say..nope this isnt gonna happen...so they continue to work with his social skills towards people and dogs...and then..guess what..yup..he is re-evaluated and he graduated to doggie daycare!! We are forever grateful to this wonderful staff!! Not once did they say take this dog out of here..not once did they say..nope never gonna happen..NEVER!! The grooming dept also patiently worked with him and he now gets groomed also. All around this place..the staff is absolutely wonderful..they are all angels!! Please know that shy..once abused dog is a happy and loved baby at home and at Rover Oaks..i highly recommend this facility to anyone!! There is hope and this program that was created specifically for dogs like WillyG it WORKS!!
It was my first time boarding my 6 month old pup Monty, who is a nervous little guy around strangers. The team at Rover oaks were such a great help. From my first phone call with Toni at reservations it put my mind at ease and after a practice visitant watching the staff interact with Monty I felt more confident leaving him. I was away during Hurricane Imelda and rover oaks did a great job communicating with me and letting me know Monty was doing fine. After picking him up he has been in great form and I think the whole experience was positive and helped bring him out of he's shell a little bit more.
Rover Oaks is wonderful! I don t usually trust my pet with anyone that s not family and they do a great job. She always seems happy and healthy when we pick her up and the going home day bath is an extra perk! Would definitely recommend rover oaks!
I have been taking my two Siberian huskies to Rover Oaks for almost 6 years. My oldest husky has severe separation anxiety, and the only place that he truly enjoys going to without getting anxious is Rover Oaks. They treat my babies so well and always make me feel relieved and calm when I board them for a few days. The entire staff has always recognized Ashur and Endur, and my boys have always loved every member of the staff - so I know that the staff treats them well and interacts with them constantly. Even though I moved to the complete opposite side of town, I still drive an hour to bring them here because they are TRULY that good.
We have utilized Rover Oaks Houston for about 14 years to board our dogs. All of our dogs have also participated in their Doggie Day Care program. The staff in all areas are highly professional, friendly and ALWAYS explain all criteria required to participate in their programs. It is also an exceptionally clean and well run facility.
One piece of advice: BOOK EARLY!!! Holidays and summer are popular times to board, so BOOK EARLY!!!
My dogs have always enjoyed and will continue to enjoy their stays at Rover Oaks! I would not want to use any other facility besides Rover Oaks Houston.
I have a rescued pitbull mix and despite her lack of pedigree the staff at Rover Oaks treated her like a princess.
I love this place! Staff are all very pleasant, helpful, and responsive. Our puppy went through a private lesson and then the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy training. Our family learned valuable training techniques and our puppy learned so much so fast - I was amazed!
Not Only did my dog love this place, but we truly appreciate all that the staff did to make us and our dog feel welcomed. From the moment that we talked on the phone to ask questions and book the boarding, through to the physical drop off and seeing the facility. The staff were amazing. Truly accommodating and caring for our boy. The pictures that they sent through truly showed how loved he was and how much he enjoyed the place. We will definitely be back.
They treat my dog like family! I feel super comfortable leaving my beloved dog with Rover Oaks. I do not go elsewhere!
Rover Oaks is the only place I will ever take my dogs again. Our dogs have always been terrified when we drop them off at any other place before here. Then when we pick them up, they are anxious to leave. They were uneasy when we arrived the first time but didn t want to leave when we picked them up! Now they know when we are getting close, and they get excited! I m no longer nervous dropping them off. I am now sad that they don t miss me as much as they used to! LOL. Thank you, Rover Oaks!
Wonderful and caring staff! From the minute you walk in the door you feel welcomed and that your pets are loved. I never worry for one minute about our dogs when they board over night during our vacations or go for doggie daycare. The grooming staff is sweet and caring! And they do an amazing job. Highly recommend!
I recently attended two separate training classes at Rover Oaks with my English Cream Golden Retriever pups, who are 20 months old and 7 months old. The classes we attended, Good Dog Manners and the A.K.C. Star Puppy class, were both taught by Sam. She did an amazing job in working with me and my dogs in both classes. Sam was very upbeat and positive, and was very flexible in adapting her training skills to meet the specific needs of all of the dogs in both classes in order to accomplish desired behaviors. One could tell that Sam really enjoys what she does; she was very interactive with the dogs in both classes as well as their humans. She listened well, and worked with dogs and owners to problem solve and address any special behavioral issues that arose. We will definitely be back for more advanced training. Thanks much!
Both of our dogs love going to Rover Oaks. How do I know? They bark and go crazy whenever we pull into the parking lot. The staff takes excellent care of our pups!
Place has high reviews and seemed very clean and well put together. Took my dog there and he seemed to have loved it which I liked. Two days after picking him up (takes 2-3 days for a parasite to affect a dog), he quit eating, quit playing, and could barely stand up. The next day he started losing hair from all parts of his body like you wouldn't believe. I called them to politely ask if any other owners had reported problems so that I would know what is going on, not to complain cause that would not do any good. They transfer me to someone who starts getting defensive and telling me the history of my dog while there and then she goes on questioning me like I don't know how to raise and care for dogs. I had to finally stop her and remind her that I only called to know if any other owners had reported this cause I was just being precautious. No matter how clean a place is with that many dogs, any dog can get sick. I am fully aware of this...that's why I chose a reputable place to enhance the chances of him not getting sick. I would have still given them 4 stars cause he was so happy when we picked him up but her being so defensive and making me feel like I don't know how to raise a dog just doesn't sit right.
I adopted a puppy in April and I knew she needed some socialization with other dogs. I contacted the doggie daycare at Rover Oaks and Michael walked me through their daycare and assured me that my puppy would be okay and have a great time. I took her in and given the COVID situation I was unable to walk her in, and Michael was kind enough to come and get her. He really went the extra mile for her, and me, and I cannot thank him enough. She took to daycare immediately and had an absolute blast. When I picked her up, she went to sleep immediately. Every time I take her now, she gets so excited. I work at Baylor College of Medicine and I know that when I return to the office after the pandemic I will start taking her more often because she has so much fun. I always recommend Rover Oaks whenever anyone asks about doggie daycare.
We sent our pups for a two week boarding training and it was great! Justin kept us updated daily and our pups definitely came out very well trained. The summer camp is also a great weekend activity for socializing the pups.
A great place for lodging ,daycare and grooming.
My dog Bones has been taking advantage of these services for years !
Love! Love! Love! Rover Oaks Pet Resort
I highly recommend the staff for their attention to detail and care for the dogs and cats!
Incredible staff always trying to make my dog s visit comfortable! They always impress me on how caring and knowledgeable they are
We have no worries boarding our "senior" labradors at Rover Oaks. They get excellent care and are always happy to come back!
Our Viszla LOVES Rover Oaks daycare. They take very good care of her, treat her with respect, and know her personality. She comes home exhausted from running all day, but very content. We have also used Rover Oaks for boarding twice. Both times we have been able to go on vacation knowing that she was also being well taken care of. We love the ability to call and check on her - people are always happy to update us on how she is doing. We also think the report card we get at the end of her stay is great. Thanks Rover Oaks for taking such good care of our Elsie!
We took our dog in very soon after having to put down our other dog--his playmate. We got feedback on every part of his schedule, eating, etc. He loves the place and the care and attention to detail is first class. Happy and attentive staff like Gigi and Maria enhance the experience.
My three dogs have boarded at Rover Oaks for the past 13 years. I can t imagine them staying anywhere else! They are treated like family. They always come home happy and tired!
Fantastic place for your dog. Large play area. Large outdoor walking area. Clean and nice. Owners are involved in charities involving dogs.
The facility was great and the staff was friendly. My dog came out happy when I picked her up.
The staffs are friendly. Sammie (my dog) really enjoy her stay.
Rover Oaks has been our preferred pet care center for many years. We personally visited a number of boarding facilities and always left with a bad taste in our mouths, usually due to poor sanitation. When we visited Rover Oaks, unannounced we were given a thorough tour and immediately was impressed with the cleanliness and lack of odor.
Staff has always been very friendly and helpful, it is apparent that they are animal lovers.
In short, we pass a fair number of boarding establishments, including two within walking distance of our home, but we chose to go out of our way to get to Rover Oaks.
Our pet has found a true friend in his groomer. He is a tough breed to work on but she always takes the time to get him right, and that is why we always return.
We will not trust our dog anywhere else.
The experience today was very disappointing. I dropped my dog off on Friday and pick him up today with a wart on his lip. The response given by the manager and staff shows they lack understanding of what process needed to run an effective dog resort. When the response from a manager is that we don't know whether your dog had it before coming here is beyond me. Especially after been told that they check the dog thoroughly before sending out the day care.
The fact is they did a POOR JOB during the inspection of other dogs going into the day care facility for playtime. The proper thing to do is to own up to the lousiness or lack of competency of the staff and process. Please ALL dog owners be vigilant and attentive on what nonsense they tell you that happened to your dog. This happens when you have Level 1 type leadership that manages the facility..
I will not be taking my dog here again.
I really appreciate the attention to my dog as he is timid and very shy at first. The caretakers make a concerted effort to make Tenzing feel comfortable and try to find compatible pals for him during doggie day care

Henry and I both loved our grooming experience today at Rover Oaks! We got the P&B which is basically a trim around face/legs, bath, etc. and it turned out wonderfully! The moment we walked in, the employees were super friendly to both of us and were very accommodating to the cut I wanted for him. I asked questions about whether he d be crated before and after, and they explained he d be in one of their lodging rooms (like boarding) and able to walk around, lay, and have access to water.
I asked for an estimate time that he would be done and they said they d call, but as I headed to the car, the groomer ran after me to catch me and was very thorough in how long she thought it would take. A+ for that effort when they could ve just called!
They did end up calling around the estimate time, when the places we ve been before have been lackluster in that aspect (I usually have to call 1-2 times and ask when he will be ready). This is the 3rd groomer/bathing facility I ve taken Henry to, and the best so far! They even gave us a Report Card checking off his groom, how his temperament was, and it included a picture of him!
I used the 25% for first timers grooming, and the price was extremely competitive and reasonable (only about $10 more than the places where do ONLY bath).
I look forward to bringing Henry back again! They truly treat your pups as their babies, too :)
We have been customers of Rover Oaks for many years and are always impressed with the level of professionalism of the staff and the cleanliness of the facilities. Of course we wish that the fees were lower and it would be great if the play area for the dogs was larger. But I have not found another place where the staff are so passionate about what they do and loving toward the dogs. Five star service!
This place really knows and loves dogs! One thing they do that I was very impressed with, is they evaluate the dogs to see which group they will be best in, and even if they are socialized enough to be in a group! They also have nutritious snacks they give the dogs, cuz a lot of them don't eat because they're so excited. Our doggie loves his place and gets excited every time we take him so we know he's being treated well. One time I was dropping him off and there was another dog that was yapping and yapping and the counselor picked up the yapping dog so my dog would have an easy welcome and transition. They really try to be in tune with how the dogs feel to make sure they're happy and comfortable. Also, the grooming is a bit expensive but worth it. They blow dried my dog's curly hair and it came out super fluffy and very handsome!
We absolutely LOVE Rover Oaks! The customer surpasses our expectations with every visit. The staff call you by your name, and most importantly, take the time to acknowledge your pet's name. Our dog, Aspen, jumps right in the car when we tell him he's going to 'school.' He is treated so kindly at Rover Oaks. He comes home exhausted, yet happy. The hours for drop off and pick up are fantastic. They are early enough to beat traffic and get to work, and late enough so that you don't have to rush. It might seem that the price for doggie daycare is expensive, but when you compare their facility and staff attention, it is worth every penny. We have also done overnight lodging. The pricing for lodging and extras can add up quickly, however the peace of mind we have when Aspen is there is priceless. During peak holiday times, you will definitely want to book lodging early (they fill reservations up quickly). Our family definitely recommends Rover Oaks!
We have been bringing our 5 year old lab to Rover Oaks Kirby since she was a puppy. She has loved every minute of being there. We have boarded, groomed and attended day care continually. She loves going there so much and all of the staff recognize and greet her. The staff is also extremely friendly and courteous to my husband and me. Thank you so much for taking such good care of her.
So impressed went for an impromptu tour and found many employees in pens and on yards petting and playing w dogs boarding there. I have toured other kennels in the area and have not seen this. Very caring all staff certified clean nice environment
My dog has been going to doggy daycare for a little over a year at Rover Oaks and loves it. When he realizes where we are going he gets so excited and can't wait until I open the car door so he can join his mates for the day. He comes home happy and even better tired. Fritz also is boarded at Rover Oaks and I wouldn't put him anywhere else. While he is there I know that he is been well taken care of and be treated like the little prince that he is.
We have used Rover Oaks for years. I would never board a dog any place else! The staff clearly loves dogs and Sophie obviously loves them. When I pick her up she runs to me then runs back to them! Picked her up yesterday after a grooming and she looks beautiful. Thank you Rover Oaks
Our Gordon Setter, Laddie has attended, 'Good Manners' classes, 'Clicks and Tricks classes and most recently stayed for two weeks at Rover Oaks for a 'Lodge and Learn'. The trainers at Rover Oaks have been very patient working with our large, young, energetic dog and it has paid off....Laddie has stopped pulling on his walks!
While Laddie stayed for his 'Lodge and Learn' we received emails informing us of his, 'storm anxiety', how well he was eating and how training was progressing. We also received a video showing us how well he was loose leash walking.
Our experience with Rover Oaks has been exemplary and we know we will continue to participate in classes with Laddie at Rover Oaks.
Thank you Rover Oaks!
I boarded my 2 medium sized mix breed dogs for 9 days while my hubby and I went on vacation. This was the first time the dogs had ever been boarded and they came back clean smelling (got a bath) and happy and healthy! Great Job Rover Oaks! We will be back!
My dog has been part of the Rover Oaks family for about 2 years. She tends to get a little nervous when she is left and the staff at Rover Oaks has accommodated her nervousness and mine! She is groomed by Sherry and she demonstrates so much care and compassion to her each and every time. Rosebud has made many friends with the staff and she loves their attention. I am fortunate that Rover Oaks is so close to home but most importantly, I am elated that she is receiving such excellent care.
We have been clients of Rover Oaks Houston since shortly after they opened and have never been disappointed nor hesitant to refer others to this (or their Katy) location. Our first cockapoo Sassy enjoyed 11 years as an occasional visitor at RO and being a rather private puppy she had stays in the luxury suites! Teddy, our current cockapoo, has also had the privilege of staying at Rover Oaks for the past 4+ years and while we tried a luxury suite for him, no way! One of their outstanding staff suggested bunkhouse boarding and that's where he's been ever since being too much of a social butterfly! Doggie Daycare is a part of his package and he loves it. We've also participated in the Manners class which my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed and were so proud when Teddy graduated suma cum loudly ;-) And what better way to end a stay than refreshed and smelling wonderful with a Wash 'n Go! Reading through the report card once home never fails to bring a smile to our faces. As might be evident, we're impressed and extremely pleased with the quick responsiveness and experiences with the staff and treatment both we and especially our pets have consistently received.

I have been taking my dog, Carter to Rover Oaks for about a year and a half and he absolutely loves it! He hangs out the window barking all the way to doggy daycare! The staff is amazing and the facility is always clean! The pet lodging is the best in the world and I never worry about Carter when I have to leave him overnight. I highly recommend Rover Oaks to all pet owners!!!
Outstanding service Rachel & the entire team go above and beyond to accommodate its clients. Great with pets - it the only facility I've used since being in Houston. I always know my pets are safe with them!!
Rover Oaks is the best! Always polite and eager to please. Gigi was especially helpful in making sure all our expectations were met. We are thrilled to have this wonderful place so close to home to take our dog for boarding and day care.
Our dogs loved it! Such a professional staff and facility. We will definitely be back.
My two dogs looked great after their bath and grooming
I love this Pet Resort, their grooming, puppy training, friendly staff and professionalism is phenomenal. Plus the precautions they are enforcing during this pandemic just makes me trust them even more.
Staff was extremely helpful and explained everything really well. Dropping off my puppy for a week was definitely hard on us but they made it to where we felt safe to leave him and I knew he was going to be in good hands. Definitely loved how we were kept updated on Apollo's day with just a text and some pictures. Highly recommend for dog boarding.
My fur babies love Rover Oaks! They go to doggie daycare there, get groomed there, and boarded there when we travel. The staff is always friendly! They are very well taken care of. And it s so nice to be on vacation and know without a doubt my babies are happy and getting the best care possible!
Excellent customer service & friendly staff! We brought our long-haired miniature dachshund in for grooming & he looks fabulous! Due to covid 19 pandemic, Rover Oaks offered curbside drop off/pick up to practice social distancing measures. Very pleased with this service overall, thank you Rover Oaks!
Rover Oaks has been a very professional and personable place to work with. I really appreciate the attention to detail and accommodations they make. My 7mo puppy goes here for group play and I know puppy she enjoys it too as she starts to wag her tail and get excited as we approach the drop off gate!
My dog loves daycare. When I go away I know he is safe and well taken care of. They know each dog's personality and make sure they are happy. I trust Rover Oaks!
Rover Oaks has exceptional customer service. They are excellent at communicating are returning inquiries in a timely manner. The personnel are truly invested in the well-being of our furry family members. We are grateful to have such a wonderful facility so close by the medical/museum area.
I left my dog inside the Houston Rover Oaks facility for dog daycare. Afterwards I was driving to work, and I saw my dog running down West Bellfort Avenue alongside heavy traffic. Two of the Rover Oaks employees were chasing after him. I almost had a car wreck while attempting to stop and get out of my car to catch him. They eventually caught my dog, and fortunately he did not get hit by any vehicles. Their explanation was that a customer had not properly closed the gate after exiting the daycare drop off area. It is a two gate system that should prevent dogs from escaping, so there must be more to the story. Regardless, the security and safety of the dogs in their care should not depend solely on every customer properly securing the gate after exiting. I live close to the the Rover Oaks Houston location, and a few times in the past when I have been driving by I've witnessed their staff members chasing dogs down the road outside of their facility. I had always assumed the dogs had gotten loose when exiting their owner's car, but now it seems more likely that those dogs had gotten out the same way my dog did. The Rover Oaks director of operations reached out and told me that my negative experience is prompting them to implement new safeguards to prevent dogs from escaping.
Love this place and the things the do! I trust this place to not only take care of my babies but spoil them too. ;-) Unfortuntely, I have taken one of my babies to a few shady boarding places where she has come back with issues both medical and emotional. She did very well Rover Oaks. Love the community outreach that Rover Oaks is involved in. Makes everything oh so much better. You can't go wrong with Rover Oaks!
Great, clean facility with a caring and trustworthy team.
I love everything about Rover Oaks! I have been taking my dogs there for the past 6 years for everything - grooming, doggy daycare, and boarding. My dogs LOVE to go, which says pretty much everything. Everyone working there is friendly, upbeat, and loves animals. It is such a high quality, clean & pet- loving environment that I never feel guilty dropping my dogs there!!
