I just wouldn't go here for emergency needs. They have plenty of staff, yet while they socialize, you wait in pain.
I just wouldn't go here for emergency needs. They have plenty of staff, yet while they socialize, you wait in pain.
Don t, just dont use the ER services. Go to Mercy instead. Kept me wait 6-7 hours THEN told me I had a serious issue. Didn t inform me during the process and treated me terribly. I would not trust my health care to them. I went to Mercy after and received excellent care .
Had a serious medical condition and they left me for an hour or so without checking in. Had to use the rest room, called the nurse and they forgot about me. The RN who cared for me had a terrible attitude. I felt like I was an annoyance to the staff for just being there.
I left AMA because I felt safer waiting to go to Mercy than allowing them to provide treatment.
UPDATE: They did reach out to me in regards to this review. The director of emergency services was polite and listened to my grievances. I did not get the impression that anything was going to change or my issues were of major concern. I did get a lot of "I am very sorry your perception of the situation was terrible".
We were blown away by the level of care we received at NW Medical Center Bentonville. We were in the Labor and Delivery department. There were so many moving parts to their system and it was all smooth and super helpful. The nurses were all kind and attentive. The Dr. who put in my epidural was so good at her job. Our nurses were constantly checking in on us and adjusting monitors and giving me the medication I needed when my BP would drop. They helped me get ready to deliver and then my dr took over and finished the job. Our day shift nurse Stephanie was a very patient and was so good at teaching us. She spent extra time with us. No one seemed to be in a rush. Jenna was also a huge help as a nurse. Our night shift nurse Maddie went above and beyond to make us comfortable and get us anything we needed. We are so happy with our experience. Afterwards our baby needed to come back for a jaundice test and the nurse or doctor we were put in contact with spent a ton of time on the phone lining out a plan for me and helping me with how to feed her. We will definitely use this hospital again. Highly recommend.
The nursing staff on the fourth floor couldn t be any better Mary and Barbara were first class
I took my mother-in-law to the ER. She was quickly registered and brought back. The doctor, Dr. Sheedy was very nice, explained everything in a way that even a child could understand. The RN, Lora, her attitude ranged from "ugh, not another patient" to "I'm so glad to be helping you today". I had to go out to the desk to speak with someone a couple of times because no one came back to check-in or let us know the progress of blood work, medications they said they would give her, or results of her Radiology scan (the radiology scanner is portable so they were able to bring the equipment directly to the room, which was nice). At one point, I asked to speak with the RN and a lady behind the desk said she would find her and let her know, well over 30 min later the nurse still hadn't come in, I went back out to find her sitting at the computer, and she seemed irritated that I interrupted her. She apologized to my mother-in-law and said she was busy with an emergency. Maybe something small, but the room we were in seemed to have an accordion wall, which I could hear every word of the people next to us and I could feel the wall move, as if someone on the other side was adjusting in their seat, which more importantly seems like a lack of privacy. When everything was said and done, they checked her out very quickly.
Terrible administration. I can't count the number of issues we've had with this hospital. Most recently, we've gone in for a routine procedure and went out of our way to ask Northwest what the procedure would cost (highly advise doing this as it is not something they will volunteer and you will DEFINITELY be surprised by their high rates).
They quoted us an amount and even though it was high, we felt that the convenience of receiving treatment close-by justified the additional expense. Well, we just barely got this bill and they charged us $100 more than what they quoted. I called their billing department and they gave some disclaimer about things being subject to change and said there was nothing they could do.
On other occasions, we've had tests performed that needed to be sent to other doctors as soon as possible. We communicated that to them when the test was performed and even called to remind them later that day. When getting in touch with our doctor that needed the report the following day, it turned out Northwest never sent the documentation.
Please know that as a patient you are entitled to better administrative care than what Northwest has to offer. We have had nothing but positive experiences with Mercy and would highly recommend them. Maybe if enough people stop going to Northwest (we'll be driving the extra 10 minutes to Mercy going forward) then they'll start to clean up their act.
This is the worst hospital ever. The staff in the radiology are very rude, when my husband was waiting on me the nurses were so rude to him. We had an appointment too. Billing is a joke. I was told that they had a contract with my insurance and that my part I had to pay certain amount. Now they are saying I owe more than what I paid on the day of my visit. I have been told three different things and still don't know which is correct. They are terrible. Oh when getting referred, being told I would be called by them to the schedule the appointment, nope, never happened. Had to call them every time to make my appointments. Will never go back to this hospital ever.
Not kept informed as to what was going on. Was not given any rx that Dr Singh said he was going to give me. I came to Northwest to get answers as to what was causing my chest pain and left with no answers.I am very disappointed that I am still experiencing the same symptoms I came for.
Very unhappy. Nurse called to schedule mris. She said there was a problem pre-authorizing with insurance and that they would get with dr and call back when fixed. They called a few days later left a message. I called back and nurse said 2 of 3 tests were good so we scheduled them next day I took them . Then insurance denies them and hospital comes after me for over 13,000. The insurance rate is 1100 per contract with hospital. They then removed the discount and wanted me to pay over 13,000.00 when they screwed up. Should not have scheduled them. Plus they were accepting 1100 from insurance but refused to take less than 8000 cash from me. They filed all papers wrong multiple times. I appealed and got the tests approved from insurance and the hospital still filed papers wrong and got denied and refused to submit the again correctly and left me on the hook for over 13,000 dollars. Do not ever go there
Had a great experience here! All the staff was very nice and made sure I was taken care of at all times!
I always love the nursing staff here. They always make me feel so comfortable.. i have always had great experiences here.
I had a Pilonidal Cyst. It was huge, painful, and in an awkward location. I was seen multiple times by these clowns. Only one worth seeing was a practitioner name Daniel, and the kind male nurse in triage. They drained and packed the three inch wide cyst, and sent me home WITHOUT PAIN MEDS. I returned in two days for packing removal and replacement. They placed me in a tiny room that had spackle all over the walls, felt like a cell. It had a window in the door. There I am pants down having a cyst on my bum looked at IN A ROOM WITH A LARGE WINDOW. The young practitioner came in I'll prepared to even repack, had to go get supplies, and tried to repack it without numbing it first, AND REMEMBER ID BEEN GIVEN NOTHING FOR PAIN. NOT EVEN AN NSAID. It was tremendously painful, and I was worried the whole time as to whether the common folk were passing window looking in at me half dressed. When he began to pack it, I was kicking from the pain. I told him to stop. He reffered me to a surgeon, Dr Phillip Cedano who thank God had a good bedside manner, numbed there area, and addressed my pain. I suffered senselessly and left feeling my modesty had been violated. That good nurse in triage (middle aged handsome male) was the ONLY ONE WHO HAD A DECENT BEDSIDE MANNER. I wouldn't recommend going here for anything where you have to disrobe. As they find it okay to have you do so in front of a large windowed door for God and country to see. Not a good experience at all.
I went here for my well woman check up. The care I received was fantastic, however they didn't bill my insurance and I was charged for something that was fully covered by my insurance. I took off work to talk to their billing department and provided them with my insurance information, because I had been unsuccessful in getting it taken care of over the phone. I also made a follow up call and was told that the matter was taken care of. A couple of days ago I pulled my credit and found that the charges had gone to collection. I'm wanting to buy a house soon, so I had no other option but to pay off the charges.
Do not come here if you have to miss work for it they will not give you a note for work this hospital is by far the worst hospital ever! They lag on nit telling you that you dont have all your paper work filled out for your daughters insurance but all in all worst hospital ever
This hospital has the best staff and doctors around. I am so glad I came to this ER when I was having stomach pain. They got me in and had great staff that really listened to me and contacted my doctor to discuss my care from a previous procedure. I got tests run and was taken to surgery quickly. They made sure I understood what was wrong and made sure my pain was relieved. The doctor that put me to sleep made sure I had a pain machine after surgery. I was home in less than 24 hours and feel lucky to be alive. Thanks Northwest!
Refused to release my daughter s lab results to her primary care physician, even after her doctor s manager got on the phone with them. Her doctor believes that Northwest lied and didn t even perform the tests. Ridiculous.
Well now we re do I start? Not impressed at all, next day went to a competitor and bam I got well.... not the cleanest hospital not the workers fault I m sure, probably understaffed like most ....
The third-floor nursing staff is absolutely amazing. I (unfortunately) had to spend several days there in July, and every single person who cared for me there was compassionate and friendly. They made a truly frightening experience so much easier, and deserve a very public thank-you!
I came in on a Saturday morning and received excellent care. Darcie checked me in right away, even though an ambulance came in at the same time as me.Melissa was my nurse and was so sweet and cheerful I didn't even feel the stick when she started my IV as she talked to me the whole time, with a sweet bubbly voice. Every one was so friendly and attentive. I was feeling anxious, driving myself to the hospital, telling my husband to stay home so my children would not be alarmed, but I was a little concerned. But everyone I encountered put my mind at ease. Even the radiology staff was very friendly when they took me for tests. Dr. Holden was kind, explained everything well and put my mind at ease. Everyone was excellent .Northwest will always be my choice for care for me or my family and I will tell my friends if you want fast efficient care, this is where you need to go! Thank you for promoting excellence among your staff.
From the moment I walked into the door everyone was very friendly and helped to put me at ease. I was a bit nervous but everything went so well each step of the way. Thanks to all the caring staff at Northwest for taking care of me today. Special shout out to Hanna for guiding me thru the whole thing. Turns out it wasn't so scary after all thanks to all of you!
Expensive, no understanding of bills (no explanation), impossible to get a hold of anyone, no response. The bill without insurance was actually cheaper than with. Couldn t adjust. Ridiculous and will never use them again. Mercy is way better to work with.
Very minimal training for nurses. This was my first job after graduating and it made me never want to be a nurse again.
My mother went to the emergency room late one night and Dr. Bowen and her nurse, Kathi were wonderful. Explained to us her condition and we were in and out of there in a short time for an emergency room stay.
Great hospital to work for. A friendly staff that truly cares for their patients. I couldn't recommend more!
Excellent experience. I have nothing to complain about.
My uncle went to Northwest ER with a severe headache. Dr. Jones and his nurse Will took excellent care of him. He was brought to a room quickly and his pain was treated immediately. They completed a very thorough work up and provided him with all the information needed to follow up with specialists. I will tell all my family members to go to Northwest!
What time I was there everyone was very helpful and courteous. I have used this Hospital for years and don't want to ever change. They have always been nice. Linda Chestnut
I have no complaints. Dr. Maria Baldasare and the staff that worked with her for my situation were all great! Called me by my first name and the doctor did as well. No white-Coat syndrome at all! Very Cool! Dr. Maria Baldasare checked on me after the Watchman implant and told me how well it went. and even took time out to shoot the breeze with me the next morning. Some of the nurses told me they enjoy working with her because of a positive atmosphere she creates. First time I had hospital food that was damn good too! Thank all of you for your service!!
had a good experience here. first time ever in an ambulance today and everyone seemed polite and like they did their job professionally and diligently. hopefully the bill won't be too bad!
In January 2019 my grandmother was taken by ambulance to Northwest Bentonville. The staff, nurses, and doctors were excellent! Thank you, Northwest for great care!
Great hospital and ER Dept! Excellent service and holly + katty are my wife nurses is the best thank you for everything!! Thank you for the thanksgiving dinner for my family!!
I posted a negative review of this facility on Nov 23, 2019. The hospital has somehow been able to delete it. They can't stand the heat. I'll keep it short this time. It is obvious that the bean counters control the treatment of patients here. The management of this facility is unprofessional and ruled by dollar signs rather than concern for patient well-being.
I was very satisfied with our 1st delivery at northwest medical center in Bentonville. I told my wife if we ever get the opportunity to be parents again I will not hesitate to have our second child there. . Thats what we did. And this time I was beyond satisfied with there service. The entire staff night crew and morning crew were always on top of things. Doctors are amazing. There are no words to explain how of a wonderful experience we receive while staying there.. Its not a fancy and flashy hospital but the job they perform there is nothing close to other fancy hospitals. I'm not promoting the hospital all I am doing is telling you our personal experience they have provide to me and my family.. Thank you every single one of you for your dedication hard work and satisfaction you have given us forever. Thank you.........
Marvin.
On Monday evening around 10:30 PM my husband entered the Emergency Room. We are visiting the area to see Crystal Bridges Museum and the Native American Indian Museum.. We throughly enjoyed both museums. Scheduled to leave for home in North Carolina the next morning, my husband wasn't feeling well. So, we went to the ER for him to be checked. From the moment we stepped to the window we were treated by friendly, caring and professional staff. We had no idea what was wrong. Within minutes it was determined my husband was having a heart attack! The ER nurses and Doctor was taking excellent care of him. The ER Doctor read the EKG and called Dr. Senter - the Cardiologist and within 30mins or so he was whisked off to surgery. Dr. Senter saved his life by clearing clot that was totaling blocking the main artery and inserted 2 stents along with two other arteries 90% and 75% blocked by inserting a stent in each one. The folks in this Bentonville area are very fortunate to have such a skilled and caring doctor as Dr. Senter and hospital staff of nurses and doctors. The day after the lifesaving surgery, Dr. Senter visited my husband in ICU - explained the entire problem and surgical procedure to correct it. From the ER admitting person named Jamie, the nurse Greg and others that I did not get the names - the EKG technician - and the ER Doctor and nurses in ICU - Heather and Kristin and Albert - everyone was very caring and knowledgeable ... the best medical professionals we have ever been contact with. Our sincere thanks to everyone for saving my husband's life and the wonderful care by all!
Sarah Brown / William Brown Newton North Carolina
My father was recently in the ICU for about 10 days. I can't say enough nice things about the doctors, nurses, and the rest of the staff as well. They are so king and compassionate. My mother and I were very unsure about what would happen with my father, but everyone explained what was happening and they took absolutely wonderful care of him every single day. Thank you to the whole staff that supports the ICU at Northwest Medical Center, in Bentonville, Arkansas.
Caring staff. Excellent treatment. No complaint at all.
This place is awful. There is almost no one here, and having to guess where the hell to go bc NO ONE is at ANY desk in this place. This is ridiculous.
Staff is top notch when it comes to truly caring. This is very important to me as a patient, the care I received was extraordinary!
Update June 2020:
After trying to get some answers from the Finance person, I was asked to meet with the nurse director who was kind enough to answer some of the reasons behind what the billing could have been. She could t clarify why it was marked by medical records as a non-emergency, she asked me to check with medical records. Medical records team took a few weeks given the C19 situation to get back on why it was marked as a non emergency (which lead the insurance to overcharge me) , medical records said it was not marked anywhere that it was a non-emergency visit. So Called yo Insurance and they finally accepted it was an issue even they didn t understand. They ll send me an updated bill which will only charge me the regular ER co-pay of $150 instead of the $750.
Jan 2020- I was in the ER for 2.5 hours, they send a bill for $5000.? + Physician bill of $3000+(of which post insurance, it s $750+$47, seems low but is a complex loophole to charge the customer if we are not careful - read below
I told the nurse I had food poisoning and she went ahead and tested me for the flu. Then when it came out negative, they gave me the IV. And told me to get ORS. . Need an explanation for $5000 bill. Their billing department automated system keeps telling their representatives are in a meeting . All day meeting for weeks? I am thankful for healthcare workers working late nights at ERs and helping the needy but their administration is ridiculous. Ripping people off.
Update: Since the billing never attend their phones for weeks on in, I visited them in person, Insurance says I m eligible for $1800 but paid the hospital only $1100, due the hospital itemizing was weird , the hospital classified my ER visit as non-emergency so instead of the $150 copay, you have to pay $750 including deductible. They also classified my visit as an extended ED visit and charged me $2900!! For less than 2.5 hours!? They charged me an additional ~$700 for tests I didn t need, gave me Saline and sent me on my way. I m bouncing back and forth between insurance and the hospital finance lady since even they don t know why they are charging me what they charged. There s also the $3000 write off based on their contract with insurance... but decided they can dig out $700 from me. Healthcare billing is so complicated with gray areas even their reps have to take time to figure out what s what. so if you don t have insurance.. God help you!
Everyone here is always so friendly and kind. Everything is always clean, and everything always goes very smoothly. I have never had any issues here, and have been here several times for varying tests and such.
The nurses and doctors are great. Having our son born there was a wonderful experience. Their billing department however is a bunch of morons. Watch out they'll screw you. We received a past due notice on a bill that was paid and the past due notice was sent 10 days before the due date.
By far the worst medical experiences I've ever had. 0 stars if possible
If you don't like being around other people or talking to them, why would you be a nurse? Please consider a career change.
I guess it's a matter of expectations and opinion. If you think Northwest is bad, yeah, you go ahead and try Mercy, lol. I've lived in Rogers for almost 30 years. When I was having a heart attack I lived 1 mile from Mercy. My boyfriend was desperately speeding trying to get me to a hospital. As I was gasping for breath, I managed to point at Mercy and say "No! No!" He remembered my previous comments and understood that I would take my chances making it the extra 2 miles to Northwest. Fortunately, I have the position of welcoming many new people into the NWA area. The first thing I do is point out Mercy, and tell them it is a good way to die, and to get to another hospital at any cost. I am speaking specifically of Mercy ER, because I do have Mercy doctors who I love. I dealt with Mercy for 30 years. The best hospital we have is Washington Regional in Fayetteville, but that is a little far for an emergency in Benton County, so just go to Northwest.
Staff was very friendly. Nurse was extremely compassionate. She really went above and beyond her duties.
Wait times are almost nothing.
Husband came in for gallbladder. Er did great they put him on meds he needed but waiting on the surgeon was stupid long. Finally came in and tried to feed us a load of bs. Not recommended for anyone to come here.
I had surgery for my fistula yesterday. What a delightful experience. Every one from check in to discharge was wonderful. The nursing staff were very concerned with my comfort, and I can recommend the facility to anyone.
I found the Hospital to be very clean and can be very quiet when your room door is closed. Workers are knowledgable and my 5 day stay was much better than I expected.
Avoid ER in this hospital if possible. ER prices across the country are higher than a regular visit but here they take it to the next level. Their charges are Astonishingly High and the staff to match that are just ok. Their ER prices are enough to put the patients back in ER.
My wife and I had our baby here. Everything went great. Checking in we were greeted warmly. The nurses were the best they all did their best to make us feel comfortable and happy. During surgery a nurse, saw that I was in awe of our baby, and reminded me that I may want to take a picture. I'm so happy she did its the best picture I've ever taken. From there the entire hospital staff did a great job taking care of my wife and my baby girl. I couldn't asked for a better experience. From my family we sincerely thank all the nurses, doctors and staff who made our time there so wonderful.
Excellent place to work. Love all the dedicated employees!! Excellent team work
Worst experience ever!!! My husband went twice the same week to this hospital with a stomach pain, cramps, fever, the first time they kept him there for 3 hrs !! Just to tell him he just had inflammation and discharged him with the same pain!!! The 2nd time they did the SAME THING!!! And didn t even help him get to the car as he couldn t even walk because of the pain!!! I had to take him to the Mercy hospital where later that day they did surgery on him because obviously the doctors there are more professional than the ones here! We would NEVER come back to this place! They are a JOKE!!!!
Not to mention the bills !!!!!!!!!!
They can't make up their minds they told me I need a catscan then said I don't then said I do again. I would not recommend this place to anyone I'm never coming back here again.
My granddaughter's hand was caught in a heavy door. She almost lost the tip of her finger. She was in a lot of pain and was seen right away. The staff were so kind and compassionate! The finger was sewn up and the physician eased her fears and made her feel better. Excellent job stitching her up! She doesn't even have a scar.
I recently had knee replacement surgery at Northwest Medical Center, Bentonville. As a medical professional (not associated with Northwest Medical Center) I am not always easy to please but the experience at Northwest Medical Center was excellent. From the receptionist, to the preop area, to the surgery personnel, nursing staff, and physical therapy - all were friendly, professional, caring, and helpful. Procedures were performed with skill. The surgery and recovery have gone beautifully and I am grateful for the care and help that I received at Northwest Medical Center.
DO NOT TAKE ANY FAMILY MEMBER TO THIS HOSPITAL IF YOU CARE ABOUT THEM. If I could give less than one star, I would. I fear this place will be the death of my father-in-law. The surgeon most likely caused a collapsed lung (as confessed to us by the second surgeon) when he installed the pacemaker. Pacemaker was installed incorrectly on the first try and had to have a second surgeon fix it. We provided his prescription medication and proper dosing procedures as prescribed by his PCT to only find out that the hospital, after 4 days, still cannot get him his proper dosage. The bottle states he is to take 4 pills per day and they cant seem to understand this and only give him 2!!! My wife found him sitting in his own urine, but the nursing staff never even thought to question why his catheter bag was completely empty! There have been some nice nurses, but generally speaking, the medical staff and managing staff are some of the worst in the business. I am beside myself with this situation and still trying to wrap my mind around a hospital in this area being so poor.
ER provided fast and very competitive service. The nurses were very personable and friendly.
Nope, never again. Worst ER experience I've ever seen or had last Sunday. You're better off driving another 5 minutes up the road. Went because of kidney stones with pain so bad it caused me to throw up. If you've ever had one, you have my sympathy. Twice I wanted to leave for another ER, my wife convinced me to hold on just a bit longer. Funny thing is, I was there about 6 weeks ago for the exact same thing and received the attention and respect one would expect. What a difference the right doctor can make vs another.
Avoid this place if you can. This is the worst hospital ever! First of all my dad had an echocardiogram here at the medical plaza over 2 months ago, we never got the results even after contacting the dr that ordered the test 3 times. Their response was they were checking into it. Now he is in the hospital with chest pains and they still can t find the results of the test. Needless to say I m sure they got lost. He s been in the hospital 2 days and they just now ran a test, still waiting on the results 4 hrs later! If the echocardiogram showed a problem and we weren t told about it 2 months ago this will be negligent on their part. If there was a problem it could ve already been dealt with and we wouldn t be waiting (2) days to find out. My dad is 85, had triple bypass here over 3 years ago but yet they are taking their sweet little time to find out if he has a blockage or not. I m so disappointed in the NW hospital and doctors! Stay away if you can!
We have had nothing but problems with the accounting department. We set up a payment plan and made payments every month yet continued to receive notices demanding payment in full while threatening to send the bill to a collection agency. When we paid the bills in full we received a 20% discount on the total, which I thought was a nice gesture, except that we later received a bill in the mail for a amount that equaled the discount we supposedly received. The runaround and frustrations have not been worth it. We will not be using their services again.
Not impressed Radiology Department! NOBODY works at the desk. You need to call 31537 and tell them you're there. Then they disappear again. I understand emergency rooms have patients as well. This was not a walk-in. This was a scheduled appointment. But when inquiries were made, the attitude that came from another staff member! And to think I agreed to come here because I live 7 minutes away instead of driving to NWMC of Springdale (20-30 minute drive with traffic) whose actually got people working up front and are interactive with the patients and nobody throws an attitude at folks - scheduled, ER, OR walk-in! Thanks so much for the hour wait past appointment time for that CT. I appreciated the entire snotty attitude! Will I get a call back on this for quality assessment and follow-up? NOT holding my breathe for it! Additionally, it cannot be blamed on the ER when I've sat and watched this waiting room fill and empty 3 times and here I still sit.
My experience dealing with Bentonville's Northwest Medical Center facility, has been for my mother (patient) and her immediate family son and daughter has been l literally a nightmare with the doctors they don't know which ones doing what and what's going on that's just my opinion
The wait in the waiting room was literally one second but the wait in the doctors office was a whole hour!!! Then I was not seen properly just sent me on my way with expensive mess then I called back to speak with receptionist she was rude! So I called to speak with the manager to file a complaint and the administration lady was extremely rude!!
If I could give no stars I would. I only had 2 nurses the whole time who could even be considered caring. On quite a few occasions I had to wait 30 minutes or more just for help to the restroom, on one occasion after 45 minutes I had to buzz again and was apologized to for forgetting about me. I guess it's a miracle I even got an apology. It is without a doubt the worst hospital I have ever had the misfortune of being in.
Mom and aunt both had to go. Staff.was very helpful
When your Mother in-law is dieing and the son walks out to hear the male nurse say well that one won't be long now!!!!!That was so wrong and it was the ICU unit and the nurse should remember because he knows He was seen by all the family!!! Albert was his Name the Family said!!This should never happen ever.!!!!So they need to make there so called Workers learn Manner's and Respect!!
Long story short. Wife went in for bleeding from her lady parts when pregnant. Nurse who did the ultrasound had no idea how to use the equipment. Tells my wife and I she lost the baby, nothing in her womb or a heartbeat. Diagnosis miscarriage. 3 days later we go for the dnc, doctor does the pre ultrasound and BOOM. Baby is alive and well. Still waiting for my return call from the risk manager. Left 3 messages so far over the past 3 weeks
This place is horrible...I went to ER for chest pain and they had me wait for an hour only did EKG and told me that I was fine even though I wasn't and charged me over $7000 dollars fof nothing...please don't go to them!
I had recently visited for a severe back pain issue. I was in and out within an hour and the nurses and Dr. Bowen were extremely professional and took excellent care of me. I hope to God I never have to go back to the ER but if I do, this is the place I am going!!
They were very caring and empathetic to the pain I was in. The nurses and doctor both took time for me. They showed they cared unlike other places.
Ashley, Darcie, Kim, and Holly. All great nurses at Northwest ER. Efficient, fast, competent. Very skilled. Charming to patients and students in their care. I can only hope to be half the nurse they are. Cheers ladies.
Just want to give a big thank you to the catheterization team of NW Bentonville. What a great bunch of folks. Very nice and professional. Can't remember any names but everyone was so kind. The Pre-Op nurses were very kind as well. Thank you to the Nurse Manager!! Can't remember his name but what an awesome nurse! Would recommend anytime. My doctor was Dr. Singh. Cardiologist. Very nice and professional.
I would give this place negative stars if I could. The nurse practitioner Rhonda busted into the room with my newborn hollering and throwing her hands around in the air, all because I told another nurse she was handling my 2-day old very aggressively. She then proceeded to refuse to tell me who her boss is and telling me that I don t need to know. The other nurse that came in at the same time was very rude and disrespectful as well. The nurse,Rhonda, then stormed out of the room and refused again to get me their bosses information. Rhonda was also rude and very disrespectful yesterday when my child s mother called me crying her eyes out because of the way she talked to her. The employees here are very unprofessional and down right terrible. Go anywhere else but northwest you won t regret it.
Caring staff and attentive docs. I'd gone in twice and then was kept a couple of nights. From housekeeping to most of the docs and specialists that I saw, I think this was the most pleasant hospital stay considering I've never been sicker in my life.
Centrally located in Bentonville. Of the five or so times I've had to come here I've never had an issue related to lack of proper care. It's a good hospital with decent people.
My daughter had have knee surgery during her senior year of high school basketball. She received excellent care while at Northwest and we were very impressed with the entire staff.
Very friendly and caring staff. I felt very safe and was at ease not worried at all.
Hope to never go back but if I do I know I will be in good hands.
Went to the ER Yesterday morning and the service was excellent! Of course there is that one bad apple but I won t let that one get to me when all the rest were great. Thank you all for your compassion especially in these hard times.
I have experienced service in both the Emergency Department and Outpatient Surgical Center at Northwest Medical Center Bentonville. Staff were professional, compassionate, respectful and attentive. My experience was excellent with providers, nursing staff, and imaging services. They are consistently my provider of choice in the Northwest Arkansas region.
I recently had an MRI. The tech, Amy, was very professional and took care of me, making me as comfortable as possible.
My grandson is a Type 1 diabetic. He had a problem with the nail of his toe and bleeding. His nurse, Andrew, and the provider, Sheik, were exceptional in their care. They provided warmth and made Justin feel like he wasn't inferior for coming to the ER.
I had my son here in labor and delivery and all I can say is wow! I was so impressed with my Labor and Delivery nurse Shelbi Dyer. She was absolutely amazing! My only concern were the surgical tech that was in L&D and postpartum just didn t seam to happy to be at work and was short with us. But other than that everything was great!
This hospital is incredible! Staff and physicians are compassionate and provide the highest level of care! So thankful for Northwest and all of the great things they are doing for patients in NWA!
I brought my wife to Northwest Medical Center, Bentonville after she thought she was having a stroke. She was seen right away. The staff in the ER was wonderful. I want everyone who works at that hospital to remember how big a difference their smile and compassionate jesters like, let me know if you need anything, and mean it it is really the little things that can make a big difference with patients and visitors when experiencing sickness and the unknown. Thank you!
I wouldn't even give this any stars. Worst attitude of staff. They don't take anyone seriously.
I wish to thank the doctors and nurses who each and collectively have made a difference in my wife's health.
The Family Birth Place was the perfect place to have my second child. The nurses and staff were incredible and attentive. Facility was ideal for all our labor and post-partum needs. Dr. Beal is one of the best physicians I ve ever met. Definitely recommend to this place to anyone.
We are currently at northwest. Just had our first baby boy. I am beyond impressed with the team here in labor and delivery. We had a very long labor that lead to a c section. They were always very patient and explained everything. The OR team risked themselves by driving on slick roads after a small snow storm so that they could deliver our baby. I really wish I could tell them how thankful I am. The nurses Heather, Petra, Sandy and Tabitha have been so amazing. I'm especially grateful for Sandy who was with us through the birth and really helped me keep calm and answered all of my questions about my baby and my wife. I could not say enough good things about these people. Also grateful for doctor sills who made a good call to move to get the baby out before it was too late. If you have been on this team and you're reading this, no matter what role you played, thank you for making it first birth experience such a great one. Thank you for being there for my family. I very highly recommend northwest medical.
The Labor and Delivery unit at Northwest is absolutely amazing! I couldn t ask for a better group of staff members to work with. We are so lucky to be able to serve Northwest Arkansas. We have the best patients! Thank you for choosing us to bring your babies into this world!
Helped me in emergency room when I was having a mental breakdown.
Great facility. Great staff. Have had two children born here.
My wife recently gave birth at Northwest. The nurses were all FANTASTIC. I cannot say enough how every single nurse and all staff we came in contact were patient, professional, and took a lot of time to make us reassured.
The facilities were great! Comfortable, clean, and modern.
I highly recommend and coming from a big city am still amazed at how much time every nurse and staff member spent with us.. from the anesthitist to the pediatric nurse practitioners.
Whenever we needed anything during our 4 day stay we were immediately helped.
Wife went to the ED for a deep laceration. We went right into triage and then was seen by RN and ED doctor within minutes. Doc was very personable, funny and explained stitches were required. Great bedside manner. The whole team was exceptional. This is the place to go!
