I don't typically give reviews but I had to reschedule an estimate that was to take place in a few days and just got scoffed and laughed at. Like, where did that even come from? Sorry you're having a rough day, wasn't trying to make it harder. Never mind.
We need a window replaced but they refused the job without even bothering to learn how large the window was or what we were willing to spend for it. I guess they don't like money.
David did a great job helping me order the windows for my mother s house. He kept me informed about the status of the order and was very responsive to any questions I had. The windows turned out great!!

Outstanding service oriented company. The initial visit from Tyler Padgett to provide a bid for the job was very focused to provide a competitive cost with the customer confidence in mind. He was always available after the contract was signed to answer questions because tropical storm Matthew delayed installation slightly; but, he kept us updated. Installers Devin and Truette Davenport are excellent craftsmen. They were more concerned with providing quality workmanship regardless of the extra time needed to repair some rotten lumber on a 35 year old storage building! Every piece of old lumber and all construction material were removed without a trace. The building looks like new. I highly recommend Southern Siding and I strongly recommend you request Tyler for your estimate and Devin for your installer. Be specific. They were excellent service providers.
The company at the hoover location is nothing but a scam artist. . They have contest that they trick people into & there is never a winner just away to get your info. They advertise 60% instalation , along with many other discounts or savings that are all lies.. They are a racist company & very open about it.. The nerve to lie to people about military & retiree discounts that don't & never have existed shows the type of trash & low class the company truly is.. Clay spivey is nothing put a crook..

From my first meeting to get an estimate until the work was done, everyone I had dealings with at Southern Siding was gracious, professional, and friendly. The crew that installed the roof was a pleasure to deal with, and provided consistent updates on the progress of the work, and timelines for completion. The quality of the work itself is excellent - the roof is beautiful and does not leak (unlike the roof that was replaced), and putting a brand-new roof on a 120-year-old structure presents any number of challenges. I would not hesitate to recommend Southern siding for the quality of their work.
I had a great experience with Southern Siding & Window Company a Will certainly be going back to them in the near future. The windows placed in my home were superb. We were accustomed to keeping our curtains closed during the day because of the sunlight then I remembered now is the time to test all that stuff about heat retardant. We bought French doors about 5 years ago. They have never installed it correctly. They have to return 3-4 times a year due to problems. Please just take it out and do the job right. I wish I had my old door back...worst $1000 I've ever spent.
The window replacement done on our new home was the second time we have used Southern Industries. As with the first job, the crews were prompt with arrival, polite and worked as efficiently as possible. The installation was done in one day. The crew cleaned up whatever debris they created. The windows perform wonderfully. The work looks great and we have been complimented several times for it. When we have a job that Southern Industries covers we definitely will ask them to quote it.

He reviewed the job that needed to be done, and quoted us the price. He explained to us what to expect in the next few weeks, and when we could expect the job to be completed. He was very professional, courteous, and answered all questions we had. We could not have had a better experience purchasing our windows, and having them installed. We had new windows put in our garden room, eight long windows, by Southern siding. They did a wonderful job, in less time than they anticipated, and we are thrilled with our new windows. When the installers left there was not a scrap in our yard to indicate that they had been here. They did a great job of cleaning up.
Scheduled an estimate through a lady at the mall.. all seemed good although she was rather pushy . When the guy came for the estimate he was rude , insisted that my husband be present and basically told me I could possibly afford windows( without knowing anything about our finances) .... asked if I had cash and I said we can get cash if needed . He asked what I did for a living and my husband (who s an electrician in the union) because it would be super expensive .. never even talked about what he was sent for .. I don t need my husband present to discuss measurements , or any other siding options but he never discussed any of that .
Problems with roof shingles and windows that were installed. Pulling teeth to get them repaired. Customer service has dropped from where it once was.

Tyler Padgett made this experience wonderful! From the initial visit until the completion of the project. Would definitely recommend him and this company.
While the finished product was, as intended, there were multiple issues leading up to the final completion of the project. Start of construction was 2 months late. Once they started they tried to pull the crew off to work on another project for someone else. They had to come back 3 times to fix leaking irrigation system, had to call and schedule the guttering to be installed after "completion". Had to call the manager several times to get everything done. Ultimately the project was a success to our liking, but time management and scheduling needs significant improvement. One thing noted after all was said and done, the concrete crew threw the busted up concrete and a worn out wheel barrow in to the weeds next to our property instead of removing the debris.
Had complete gutter system installed about 3 years ago. We just discovered that a portion of a gutter has pulled away fron the facia and now the facia and soffit are rotting away. I have been trying for two weeks to get someone to call me back and fix the problem. I get answering machines or just leave a message with someone else who says they will give my information to service department. The damage from the installation will continue to get worse but it seems this company could not care less about backing up their work. Beware!
Southern siding is one of the few companies that have come to my house to do work over the past several years and I have had zero issues with. I would highly recommend them.

We had a fantastic sales guy named Matt. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. However, the customer service side of their business needs some work. We made an appointment to have the installation done and a guy showed up and didn't have what was needed. So he said he would go get it and call us back to come back. He never called or showed back up that day. Two days went by and no one from Southern Siding called us. We had to call them to find out about our installation and when we called we could never get the right person or someone would take a message and never call us back. It took almost 3 weeks to get everything finally installed. Southern Siding definitely needs to work on their service side of the business and communicating better.

The whole process of getting an estimate was simple, they explained when I called why we needed all home owners present and were very professional. It makes sense with a large purchase to have everyone involved. The Windows we looked at were beautiful and the expert they sent was very knowledgeable about them. We had them in to give us an estimate on some new gutters after seeing the commercial saying "get a walmart gift card with in home estimate". Got the run around about the gift card so canceled my gutters. If they can't tell the truth about something that small there is no way I am trusting them with my home!

Asking always for superb quality, given five stars because of an outstanding work. Once the measurements were done, we get the whole bathroom fixed. From early fifties style into a new and very comfortable relaxing space in just three days, including a perfect cleaning after the installation and taking care of the removed materials. We are very satisfied with the team that worked on our bathroom and the materials used. 'After action' review is 100% positive. Well done. We are sure this lasts for decades. I saw the advertisement on TV and it mentioned a $25 gift card from Walmart if you got an estimate. Well, my salesman said he was going to bring the gift card BUT if he forgot give him a call to remind him. I have called him twice and the office once. Whoever answered the phone (in the office) said that I would have to pick up the gift card at the office. I told her I wasn t driving all the way to Augusta just for a gift card especially since my salesman said he d bring it to me. Now I m wondering if there s really a gift card at all. If you advertise a free gift with an estimate you should deliver. Oh, by the way, I paid a $600 deposit (still no gift card). Do they exist?
The guys doing the installation were fantastic. It's the office that brings the score down. We would wait and wait for someone to call us for scheduling and not hear anything for weeks. Then we would call and they would state that they would have someone out in a day or two. This was every step of the process. Very unprofessional.
The work was done promptly and we are enjoying our windows. It was amazing how much more we see out the new windows. Keeping them clean is so much easier, too. There was a small problem with the door and Southern Siding sent someone to fix it for us.
Had an appointment set, for an estimate on windows and no one showed. When I called I was told there was a clerical error with my address. OK. It happens. When the receptionist called back to verify the NEW appointment, I was told all home owners had to be present. My husband works very long hours, much longer than their appointment schedule, and was told they had a strict policy about this. I handle our finances and will be making this decision. She became very snotty with me. What is this, 1950? Would not use this company under any circumstances.
Carlos Oteros was absolutely amazing at his job! He walked us through everything and he has even came by twice since we have got the windows to make sure we were happy and we definitely are ! The guys that put the windows in was great too they had them in and out in no time ! Carlos is hands down one of the best salesman !!!

Ive got a No Soliciting sign in my yard, and on my door. The very door you stuck your unwanted ad on, making my dogs bark and wake my kid up form his nap, and you want me to use your services? you cant even respect people's wishes and Im supposed to believe you will listen when it come to siding? And why the hell would I want to cover my brick siding?
The seals are failing on previously installed windows and they have condensation between the panes. I took the windows to Southern Siding on Bobby Jones and Alice looked up the "job" and informed me that it was done in 1997. She said that I should go home and look for a number in the seal and if there was no number she would schedule for someone to come out and measure the windows. There was no number so I called back and told her I would bring the windows in again. When I got there the "job" magically disappeared and she couldn't find a record of it. I left the windows and in a couple of hours got a call that said she couldn't find the job so I would have to pay $150 to get the windows fixed. I said I wanted to speak to someone else and she transferred me to Fran-the owners niece. Fran couldn't find the "job" either and repeatedly told me I had to produce paperwork. She then told me they didn't replace glass after Alice had already given me a price to do it. She ended up hanging up on me.
Worst company I have ever dealt with!! Way over priced and very poor craftsmanship! Do not stand by their warranty whatsoever! Major ripoff!!!

Excellent product. We love our windows and the support the Southern Siding Company gave us. The came out and fixed several small issues after the installation very quickly. I was very impressed with Tyler's knowledge of his product and he came out to follow up with us several weeks after the installation. Dillion was the man and removed some the window chalking without being asked. This was because he didn't like the way it looked. We will definitely use Southern Siding and Windows again because they take care of their customers even after the job is done.
Everyone was very kind and informative. The day of installation, they worked professionally together and neatly. Not messy like some, where they leave materials all over the place while working. Absolutely a respectful team and they left me with being a highly satisfied customer.

I have a super small and simple job I needed help with, just reattach a small piece of siding that came off. It would have been the easiest house call this company made, but they refused to help. They only install and work on new siding purchased from them.
The jobs that Southern Siding has done for us have all been done very well. The workmanship and materials are very high quality. The company has been very responsive to our questions and concerns from the beginning to the conclusion of the job. I would highly recommend them. They have performed 3 major jobs for us and when the need arises we will certainly contact them for the 4th.

We have known Greg since he was 4 years old and he is easy to talk with and knows how to treat customers real good. Mike was very professional and knew his job well. We are pleased with the work done, and in the future we will call them if we need more work done. Their customer service can't be beat.
Made an appointment, and no one showed up. Called and they said my information was taken down incorrectly. I made a new appointment, rep comes to my house and refuses to give me an estimate because my husband is at work. I explained it's nearly impossible to get us together at a time they could come out. He refused to quote or talk to me about my options. I am extremely disappointed in the poor service and will never do business with this company.

I did a review over a year ago. Reading the comments from current/past customers seems that they are still up to predatory practices. You shouldn't need door to door salesmen to sell a product that should be selling itself. It seems they are also asking now for good reviews online which means they are trying hard to boost their score. For potential customers: if a company has so many recent bad reviews, why even risk the thousands of dollars they will charge?
I just got another email from someone telling me their story because they watched my video on youtube and had similar experiences. It's your money so feel free to gamble with it, but I would strongly suggest avoiding Southern Siding and Windows.

No pressure whatsoever with any part of the process. We started with just siding but was so impressed with the quality of work and professionalism of all levels of sales and installers we decided to do windows and gutters as well. Our walk-in shower is beautiful. The installers were professional and everything was cleaned up before they left.We re extremely happy with our shower and the installation. It was well worth the money.
I would give 1 star however Jonah the sales rep was wonderful. He did his job and was very friendly not pushy and helped us explore our options. I feel bad for Jonah though because the workers themselves are bad and it made me never want to use this company again. We had purchased new roofs for a carport and a workshop (two small roofs). Our insurance company was requiring these be taken care of in a designated amount of time. We made sure they understood this and they assured us they would be done. We signed the contract in September and it took almost 2 months and me constantly calling the company to figure out what was going on. First they said they didn t have the material then they said they didn t have the equipment then it was just a scheduling issue. It seems to me they are over booking their workers and making promises to customers they can t keep. I was very disappointed.
The workers were polite. They put down drop clothes everywhere they needed to walk. Quality of the work was superb. Would want to have the same crew to do our other bathroom when it is time.
We had a very positive experience. Tim and his helper were very polite and answered all my questions such as how to clean and maintain my new tub. They made sure to cover my floors during installation and cleaned all debris from worksite. We would definitely recommend Southern Siding for any bathroom remodel.

The office staff was very proactive in calling on a regular basis to ensure we knew where we were in their schedule and to make sure we didn t have any concerns, questions or conflicts. We entered a contract to have the siding on our house replaced along with new windows. I first dealt Blake Stephenson and he assured me that they would remove the wood from my house, place installation and put new siding on my home. I was adamant about the replacement of the wood since I live in SC and had recently had flooding in my home. I made clear to Blake that the wood under my current siding was rotten and I wanted it all replaced. I also purchased three new windows. On the day of installation, the company refused to take off the old siding from my home. They instead wanted to put new wood on top of the existing wood. When I objected, and reminded the workers and the managers of my conversation with Blake, I was told that they NEVER remove old siding, they only place NEW WOOD ON TOP of old wood. Mr. Laws, the general manager, further informed me that there was NO OTHER WAY to rectify the situation. Either I conformed to their way of merely placing new siding on, or they would leave. Needless to say, they walked away from a customer without resolving her issue. Fast forward to todays date, this company is attempting to keep my deposit, claiming that three windows cost approximately $2,787.00! Absurd! Scammers! Frauds! The company is attempting to charge me for frivolous such as administrative fee, advertising, insurance, capping, complete lies. There is NOTHING on the contract that indicates there will be insurance fee, adverting or admin fees added to any completed project. I have disputed these amounts and have yet to hear from ANYONE from this company. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
We had an excellent experience with southern siding. They put in a beautiful walk in shower for us. The workers who did the job were fast and cleaned up after the job was done. They also made us feel comfortable letting them in our home and explained everything to us.

I only wished I could give less than one star. For over a year now I have been trying to fix the installation of my gutters. I paid over $11,000 for gutter guard to install gutters on my home. I have spent over a year and several hundred phone calls. Beth has lied to me so many times. I think she blocked my number, because they won't even answer them any more. The trouble shooter came and inspected the installation and couldn't believe that Southern installed them. Still no action from Beth. If my company did business this way, we wouldn't be in business I called the home office in Agusta today. They said they would assign it to a service team. My next step is litigation. I only want the job done right.
The sales representative was very professional and friendly. We purchased metal post inside and wood rails but instead the workers did everything in black metal. The sales rep did not charge for the additions.
The guys that came out and installed our patio cover were very professional and quick with the install. They cleaned up afterwards promptly. We love our new patio cover and would recommend Southern Siding to anyone!

They installed our roof, a custom doggy door in one of our sunroom windows, replaced our sky lights and siding, and installed a new sliding glass door in our sunroom.
