I have been to Mike Murphy Ford twice now. They have amazing staff that are willing to help you with no problems. The employees know what they are doing and if they have questions of their own they do not hesitate to go ask someone higher than them. I also like Mike Murphy's employees because they are not too pushy. Other dealerships are calling me at least two or three times day asking when I am coming it and harassing me. I would 10/10 recommend Mike Murphy Ford!!!

One of our best buying experiences ever. Quite a drive for us so I talked to Nathan ahead of our visit to ensure he had some models we were interested in. Everything was just as advertised. We found the car we wanted and made the deal. No issues at all. Great dealership with a great selection.

Jimmy Howard was absolutely amazing!!! He answered all my questions, asked all the right questions to find out what my wants and needs were, and was very patient with me... Also, he's not one of those pushy annoying sales guys. He found the perfect car for me and I absolutely love it!!! He was great I will definitely refer anyone I know looking for a car to him and when I'm ready for another new car I will be going to see Jimmy!!! Also, Alecia in the finance department was over the top as well!!

BAD experience. Went in wrap up the purchase of a 2016 Honda Accord with 22k,
Upon my final inspection of the car I found approximately 2 inch diamater rust bubble forming on the door.
Red flag in many ways. Why had no one else seen this? It had been gone over by the detail department and I'm assuming other areas inspect the vehicles before sale. Especially this new of a vehicle?
Okay.. Mistakes happen and maybe it just got missed.

I went with my gut though and decided to walk away from the purchase. 2016 Honda with 22k miles shouldn't have a rust spot forming...

At that point, the salesman became condescending and irritated with me. He told me I was overreacting and making the wrong decision. Maybe I was maybe I wasn't. I was still the customer and get to walk away if I choose.. No matter what.

The salesman was arguing with me in the parking lot because I didn't want to make the purchase. Very embarrassing and very awkward. It's business, not personal.
Very unpleasant experience.. Will not be back ever. Not because of the rust spot but because of how the salesman handled it. I would have considered looking at other cars on the lot had he not behaved in such a hostile and unprofessional way.

We saw a car online and came in to see it. Nathan Noyes was very helpful and made it easy for us to test drive and find out more about the car. We loved it and decided to purchase. The whole process was hassle and pressure free and Nathan was helpful without hovering. Would recommend this dealership and car buying experience.

Anthony Davis is the most helpful person from whom I have ever bought a car. He would go to check something out for me while I was waiting on the line. While giving good service and being available to answer questions, I never felt pressured. He has excellent knowledge of how Fords work. If you need a vehicle, go see him. It was a pleasant experience for me.

When I came in to look at a used Subaru Outback, I was helped immediately by David Tello on Saturday Morning. I wasn t sure I wanted to purchase the vehicle, so Jeff Lynch and David Tello allowed me to take it home for the weekend to see if the Outback was the right fit for me. Seeing as how I m in my 20 s, I never thought they would actually let me take it home, no dealership has ever let me before. The great thing was, I didn t even have to ask! I brought the vehicle back Monday morning but not to return it. Everyone was absolutely courteous! Jeff Lynch really worked with my trade in and the price on the Outback. He was fair with the pricing and was able to work with what I was looking for. While David Tello was working on getting me approved, I was approached by the owner himself, Mike Murphy! I was astonished by his visit! He made sure I was being taken care of, asked if I needed anything, thanked me for coming in and was ready to have conversation to really get to know his customer! I ve never had that kind of service and it really is hard to come by when you are young. Also, every sales person who walked by smiled, said hello and asked how I was doing! I really appreciate the team of people that work here! David Tello thank you so much for working with me and not pressuring me! You are an exceptional sales man! I will continue to do business with them and hope to see my family do business here at Mike Murphy Ford as well! Again Thank You and I hope others choose to do business with you as well!

Just bought a new car from Mike Murphy Ford. Mike Murphy himself greeted us when we came in. Very friendly sales people, worked to find me the car I wanted. Excellent service.

The staff is so friendly. My salesman was Aaron Morgan and he was awesome! He helped me so much and he worked with me until we found exactly what I needed. He keep me updated and made sure to reach out to me. Alicia was just as great and she worked hard to find the right price for me. I will most definitely go back again for my next car.

Friendly sales staff but overpriced. Pointed out the app cargurus they put the vehicles on showed they were $1,600 over market prices on used vehicle and they stated would only come down $400. When it was pointed out I can save $2,000 to $4,000 by traveling south, or to Indiana, or to Ohio, or Chicago for the same make, model, and miles I was told well you will have to do that. I have bought before he several times in the past, not any more. I suggest a little car shopping and open up the search distance on car gurus, you can save some real $$$. If you want a nice friendly visit good place to go but if you want a good deal on a vehicle not going to happen, open up the distance search on cargurus.

Slow and unorganized purchase, then Service department left parts loose after front end alignment. My last visit...

My wife and I were recently bought a 2016 Ford Fusion from Mike Murphy Ford. Dave Brekke is the salesman that we had the pleasure of doing business with. He is hands down the best salesman I've ever dealt with. He showed us many options and got us the very best bang for our buck. Went in to look at a car that wasn't ready to be seen yet, so I left my name and number. Waited 3 weeks with no call so I purchased elsewhere.

I just purchased a 2015 Expedition today thanks to the help of Jimmy Howard and Sam Weber. I have not been able to make a deal with Mike Murphy for the last three Fords I purchased. This time they gave me the amount I wanted for my trade even before we had decided on a certain model.

This is my fifth car I have bought from Mike Murphy Ford since 1996. I deviated in 2006, and bought a Nissan, only to return to Mike Murphy Ford years later. I told my husband I wanted to go back to Mike Murphy to look at their inventory as I was always pleased with their sales and service. We test drove a few cars but we really liked the Lincoln MKX. Dave Brekke was our salesman and he gave us keys to test drive a few cars. We test drove the Lincoln MKX and we loved it. Dave didn't pressure us at all. He thanked us for coming in and gave us his card to call if we wanted to make an offer. We ended up buying the 2016 Lincoln MKX Premiere and we got a great deal on the price. I would recommend Mike Murphy Ford to anyone who is looking for a car! Thanks Dave and Mike Murphy!

I buy cars differently than many. I email all dealers in a certain geographic area, and I have explicit instructions for the dealers in that email (email only please, you get one chance to send me your absolute lowest price and interest rate on loans, etc.). I don't set foot on the dealership lot until the deal is done, not even for a test drive. I show up, I sign the paperwork, I leave. This is not the only way to buy a car, but it's my way.

During my most recent purchase, I followed this strategy again. About 75% of the dealers completely ignored my instructions, and called me or sent me generic information. One even called my wife. At work. Before calling me.

Mike Murphy Ford, however, honored my instructions to the letter, and Nick Reece sold me the car I was looking for with no pressure, no games, and at the best price of all the dealers. Nick was fantastic.

Called to set up a diagnosis for my Vehicle.

My check engine light has been on recently for whatever reason and I wasn't sure if it had anything to do with my safety recall. Brian informed me of exactly what they did during the recall to ensure that wasn't it. I then proceeded to ask about getting my vehicle in for repairs and he set me up on a week where I can get a diagnosis and have a loaner vehicle in the meantime.

If you want a salesman that won t pressure you or tell you want you want to hear, Jimmy is your guy. He earned our business and we won t buy from anyone else.
We had 2 older vehicles that had to go as they needed significant repairs and had high mileage. We hadn t bought newer vehicles in a long time so we started a conversation with Jimmy Howard. One of the best decisions ever. He took time to help us figure out what we wanted but, more importantly, what we needed. We spent time checking out the Mike Murphy inventory on their website. We stopped by to make multiple test drives. When we were ready, we came in to meet with Jimmy on April 15, 2016; he had all the car reports pulled for us and gave us all the information on the vehicles. He wanted to earn our business. He did earn it by going above and beyond to get us the best models and best deal for us. When he heard about great local financing offers, he wanted us to know. When we came in with a 2002 and a 2007, he wanted us to get the best trade dollars. We were still at the dealership late (so late the cleaning crew had come in) on a Friday night and he was right there with us as we signed document after document. We left completely satisfied with our purchase and wearing huge grins as we drove off the lot in a shiny new 2016 Focus and a 2015 Santa Fe.

Have been having my vehicles serviced there for years. Always been straight forward in the repairs I needed.

We were treated by Jimmy Howard. He was very professional and warmly welcomed us. He helped us find a car that was priced below another model. Jimmy gave us a far trade in value for our older truck and the transaction happened in a timely fashion.

Almost 8 years ago we purchased an "As Is" used car from Mike Murphy Ford. The day after we purchased it we had a major mechanical malfunction. Since we purchased it As Is, we knew that the dealership really wasn't responsible. We spoke to Jeff Lynch (sales manager) and they were kind enough to take care of the problem. Since then we have continued to have that car serviced there. This weekend we were able to purchase another very nice used vehicle from them and will have it serviced there. Our salesman was Jimmy Howard and was excellent to work with.

I would like to give a shout out to Mike Murphy Ford and our preferred salesman Jimmy Howard. We have purchased two new vehicles from Jimmy in recent months, but found ourselves in need of a used truck. My husband found the truck online at the dealership and called Jimmy, of course. Jimmy made all the arrangements for us to come over that afternoon. We did a test drive and bought the truck on the spot. That is a first for my husband--he ALWAYS has to sleep on it. I believe it is due to the qualities we have seen and experienced with Jimmy. He is honest, trustworthy, fair, and professional--but most importantly he is friendly and certainly not pushy. Was a good experience, except I was told I'd be called back with pricing details on a repair and never received a call. Lost that sale.

Dave Brekke was great to work with! He made it really easy to buy a new car. Almost too easy! The only downside is, he told me he'd get in touch to do some minor touch ups on the vehicle I was purchasing. I decided on my purchase because that seemed like great customer service. It has been 4 weeks now and I haven't heard from him regarding these two scratches. It was busy that Saturday, so I'm guessing it slipped his mind. They're still a great dealership, though. I'll definitely get my next car there!

I just returned from Morton after purchasing a 2014 Ford from Mike Murphy Ford. I don't know anyone who enjoys the car buying experience less than I do. I was however, very happy with my experience today. The sales consultant Jimmy Howard was genuinely friendly and helpful. He worked with us to fine the best car for us. I think my favorite quote of his was "I don't care if you test drive ten different cars, lets find one that works for you."
This dedication was for a used car so I was impressed. I didn't seem to matter to him how much we intended to spend. I highly recommend this company.

I just want to say that this place and the people that have helped me thru what ive gone thru have been AMAZING! i was in a horrid wreck n they made the process of everything so easy and just made my experience sooo wonderful! The salesman that my wife talked to initially was Jimmy Howard and she told me that he seemed to really want to give us a good deal on an Edge. All through our discussions on what we wanted in our next Edge, Jimmy was personable, honest, and had a real desire to get us exactly what we wanted. Mike Murphy Ford employees displayed the best customer service at a car dealership that I have ever experienced. My wife and I purchased a 2016 Ford Explorer through Jimmy Howard. I highly recommend asking for Jimmy when you go in for a purchase. He was respectful, not pushy at all like some dealerships and salesmen can be, and was very straight-forward with no running around. We traded in a vehicle and got a fair value (the KBB and NADA guides recommended values) the first time around. Jimmy was efficient and was able to get us into our new vehicle quicker than I ever had in the past at other dealerships. In the past, I have purchased vehicles at Finish Line Ford in Peoria (Now Green Ford) and I have shopped around at every other Peoria Ford dealership. Finish Line Ford was absolutely terrible in every way, and the other dealerships offered very poor customer service.

Unfortunately for us, as luck goes, we had an issue within a week of purchasing the vehicle (not a Ford issue, it was a problem with a tire). Again, the customer service through the service department was well above my expectations. The issue with our tire took several attempts and trips to the service department to figure out, but Brad Barker, Mitch Urbanc, Kevin Neill, Pete Katus, and even Jimmy Howard were all very helpful, professional and great to deal with. They made the issue right and made the situation completely stress free. Thanks again to the Mike Murphy team for making this transaction one of the better ones I have experienced.

Was helpful and willing to negotiate. But think they are too high on used cars especially with high miles.

Made an appointment to buy a truck. I was told the first available time the truck was able to be seen was on Saturday. I told Nick Reece, it's exactly what I wanted and I would be happy to put a deposit down. He said, no need to, I will make sure it's held for you. Again, I said I can put a deposit down no problem. Nick Reece said no need.

On Saturday, 50 minutes into an hour drive and 10 minutes from my appointment time Nick Reece calls and says the truck was sold yesterday. Then proceeds to laugh and says I guess we should have asked more money for it! Really?

I will never return and don t recommend Nick Reece as a salesman unless you want a vehicle sold out from underneath you.

Absolutely horrible customer service. If that's not bad enough, then he lies to management on how the conversation went down.

I bought and have had my car serviced here and have had nothing but great service but today was different. I scheduled an appt for 1030am for a new tire. I arrived at 1015 and told the guy in service that I hit a pothole last night and and that I knew exactly where the leak in the tire was coming from. He informed me that they would look and see if it could be patched but it would probably have to be replaced which I pretty much already knew. An hour and a half later, I still had heard nothing from anyone. I went out to service to ask what was going on and that was when I was informed that the wrong size tire was delivered and that someone went to exchange it for the right size. Why was I not informed as to what was going on and why it was taking so long to change a tire? 2 hours in and I was still waiting!! Extremely irritated with this situation and lack of communication. My time is just as valuable as theirs. 2 hours and 20 minutes in I went back out to service to find out what was going on and they finally had my car done yet no one had come to get me to let me know. I am very upset with this experience at Mike Murphy Ford in Morton
