We entered a contract to have the siding on our house replaced along with new windows. I first dealt Blake Stephenson and he assured me that they would remove the wood from my house, place installation and put new siding on my home. I was adamant about the replacement of the wood since I live in SC and had recently had flooding in my home. I made clear to Blake that the wood under my current siding was rotten and I wanted it all replaced. I also purchased three new windows. On the day of installation, the company refused to take off the old siding from my home. They instead wanted to put new wood on top of the existing wood. When I objected, and reminded the workers and the managers of my conversation with Blake, I was told that they NEVER remove old siding, they only place NEW WOOD ON TOP of old wood. Mr. Laws, the general manager, further informed me that there was NO OTHER WAY to rectify the situation. Either I conformed to their way of merely placing new siding on, or they would leave. Needless to say, they walked away from a customer without resolving her issue. Fast forward to todays date, this company is attempting to keep my deposit, claiming that three windows cost approximately $2,787.00! Absurd! Scammers! Frauds! The company is attempting to charge me for frivolous such as administrative fee, advertising, insurance, capping, complete lies. There is NOTHING on the contract that indicates there will be insurance fee, adverting or admin fees added to any completed project. I have disputed these amounts and have yet to hear from ANYONE from this company. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
