I never got an estimate, the salesman asked how much money I make and never went outside where the siding is. Therefore, I asked him to leave. He tried his best high pressure BS but he eventually went away. They called and called but I don't break weak. Total crooks if you ask me.
Southern Siding & Window completed window replacements professionally and in a timely manner. The work was done several months ago and we've had no problems.
They were able to come much faster than initially indicated. Everyone was kind and courteous.

He presented us with the best options for our home. He is the best! After three years , we sold our home in less than two weeks. We would not have moved from this home, but my husband changed jobs. Because the home was so beautiful and stood out in the neighborhood it sold quickly.

Salesman, Matt Weaver, came to my house 11 days ago and was your typical salesman. He said jobs were taking 3-4 weeks but my situation was "the worst he had ever seen" so he would move me to the front of the line. I should have heard from him within in a week and I was to call him with questions. I did call him. I got a text back saying he was in a meeting and I never heard back. Someone from the office, Christian, has been completely unreachable. She calls me when I'm at work and when I call back she is never there so I have to leave a message. This is ridiculous and bad customer service. I am not looking forward to continuing business with them and at this point I would not recommend them to anyone.
I would highly recommend Southern Siding. They were friendly, worked hard and kept me up-to-date on each step of the construction of my sun room.
The rep that came out to give the estimate was a veteran of the company, therefore, he very knowledgeable of the product, the financing, what to expect next, and he followed through until everything was processed. Everyone that came in contact with was very professional, address my questions/concerns expediently. The installers were friendly, they didn't waste anytime with the insulation, and most of all they cleaned after the project was complete. During the project while the installers were at my home the project manager made a visit to check was everything going good and if I had any questions/concerns. I still receive periodic calls asking is everything okay and if I have any questions. I give them a high five. I am very pleased with my windows and siding. The staff really out did themselves with personal care for their clients. Keep up the good work. You have my recommendation.

The windows we selected were installed in phases as requested. We are very satisfied with their service and the personal touch of the installers. After the passing of my father, I had to make a quick visit to the company to get papers. I just happen to mention the roof was leaking after the hard rain that week. So I received a call a couple days later for appointment the next day. The worker came and went. The next day I received a follow up call from Mr. Danny. And the next two days. Just to make sure work was done and customer was satisfied. I appreciate the company having that extra benefit of appreciation to the customer.
Bad customer service. I had an appointment for today at 10:00. They called yesterday to confirm at 9:14. Never left a message and I called back 3 times no answer. To include they never called again to confirm the appointment. So, I assumed they were still coming, until I called this morning at 10:00 and the lady that answered the phone said they tried calling yesterday, and I said only once they tried. I guess they think people do not work and that when they call all things should be dropped. Soon as I seen the missed call at work, I called back and got no answer. I was told that they are good, but they might be at doing the job requested, but they suck at customer service. I seen in a review 2 weeks ago, same thing and now I have to start from scratch on finding another company with good customer service and products.
They were a bit pricey, but the work was excellent and done sooner than expected.
Southern Siding and Window Co. has been very helpful to my home upgrades. They have installed gutters all around my home, and a nice deck off my back door. Tyler Padgett checks on me periodically and makes sure Im happy with the work Ive had done, or if I have any upcoming projects he can help me with in the future. He is not pushy with his sales process and is like family when he comes around. I could not ask for a better experience.

Professional from start to finish! My sales rep was Tyler and he did not use any of the "pressure" tactics that were used by some of the other companies that I requested estimates from. Very professional and checked on us several times throughout the process. I did have to have one sash replaced after the work was completed and had zero issues in doing so. Made a phone call, gave the serial number and two weeks later, it was installed. The installers were just as professional. They were eager to answer all of our questions and ensured that we were pleased each day of the installation, with the clean up. Outstanding!

Front entrance door, windows, and sliding glass door( replaced with french door). Once my order was ready for installation, appointment was scheduled at my convenience. Installation went smoothly. Crew was on time, cleaned up after completion and finished in the time specified. My electric bill has reflected the quality of the product. Financing was a bonus!
Southern Siding did a great job with my new gutters. The work crew was prompt and professional. They answered all my concerns and gave me some advice on a DIY project. I had rain water collection barrels added and all adjustments to the new downspouts work well.

Worst customer service ever. Contract written up on May 31. I had 3 projects done prior with them....got ready to use them for a 4th project and Matt the sales rep, John the builder and Peter the sales manager all screwed me. My patio was measured twice and they were so blind they didnt realize extra concrete had to be poured and measured 3ft short. Peter came out to look himself and said he was going to get it done for original quoted price instead of the additional 2k I was told once they realized measurements were wrong. Then called me back a day later (today, 2 months later from contract date) and said he couldn't. You should be the ones coughing up the extra $2k u want to charge me for YOUR mistakes. You lost a repeat customer who was going to use you for roofing and windows also. Thanks but no thanks. I'll take my business to Window World. DO NOT USE SOUTHERN SIDING IN AUGUSTA GA.

Once of the worst experiences I have ever had with a building company in Augusta. I asked to have a service representative come to my home regarding recent damage from the tornado in the area and my need to obtain building supplies including shutters, fascia and siding. The representative abruptly told me on arrival that he was not able to help me,
and told me that Southern Siding was unable to provide me the supplies I needed for my home repairs. Fortunately after he left I was able to make some additional contacts in the community to find a company that was able to help me with what I needed. I would never use Southern Siding based on this experience and would never recommend them to anyone that I know..
I highly recommend southern siding and window company. They came out and did my gutters first and David hunter was excellent ! He came out before and after the job was completed to check on me and make sure everything was done properly and while he was out here I decided to do more business with him and do my radiant barrier insulation(which I've noticed a difference in the temperature of my house) installers were great as well and I highly recommend southern siding !!
A most excellent experience! Now I don't have to paint as much! The crew was very professional, polite, and organized. We had new columns, soffets, vinyl window wraps on all windows, and a few other items fixed. The house looks much better thanks to Southern. I would recommend them to anyone needing house upgrades. As a matter of fact, we will be using them in the future on another project.. they are that good!
I rent a home in Jackson, S.C. and last month my landlord was in town for an appointment with Southern Industries about 9 new windows (added 3 more for bk room which will be put in at later date due to ordering after first installation) and putting up a new soffit around entire home. From the start with the sales consultant Tyler, to the office people and installation guys a GREAT experience and will call Southern Industries for several other jobs needed for this home when the time is right. The installation guys (Joe, Logan & Nate) ran into several issues with my home due to homes age and very bad wood (should have been 2 day job took 4 days but was done RIGHT the first time with these Gentlemen) but went above and beyond to fix these issues along with providing explanations for any extra materials and I hope these guys are the ones that come back when other 3 windows come in. Would recommend Southern Industries to others for Window replacement and soffit work again and again. Great service from start to finish. 100% will use Southern Siding & Windows again for any home related issue that they are equipped to do!!
From the time salesmen Tyler Padgett and David Hunter met with my wife and me, the whole process of getting new gutters was very professional and customer focused. Tyler and David pointed out some current problems on the outside of my home, that needed attention, so we decided to put leafless gutters on our whole home. Then, the two-man crew of John and Prentis worked their magic, to ensure the job was done right, not only for that day, but for the long-term future as well. We felt that John and Prentis were keeping us posted on their progress, making sure the installation was down correctly, and communicating to us any and all issues they ran into, and how they would fix it, all, without adding any $$ to the bill. A job well done, from Tyler, David, John, Prentis, and Kristian, back at the office!
I'm not a fan. They were gung-ho to sell me gutters for 3 sides of my house when I only wanted the front. I told them we would proceed with the front only and I haven't received a call back (it's been 2 weeks since he told me he would call). Meanwhile I also asked for an estimate for a screened porch (where we really wanted to spend some cash), my wife thought the guy that came out was very nice and knowledgeable. However after waiting a week to hear about his design and prices, I was contacted to schedule another at-home visit to go over the details and ask questions. I asked politely for the design and price to be emailed so we could review (you know because I am a busy working professional) and was told "no, we will only talk to you about it when we come over". This gets me. I don't have time for all these games, if you can't be forthcoming with the details before we are doing business, then I just have to assume that's the way you'll be if we were. This is 2017, and businesses need to understand that not all customers need a holding-hand. I guess we will look elsewhere for a company that wants to do smaller jobs (the gutters) and be forthcoming with estimates. If any competitors are reading this, please contact me.

If you want to be insulted and ridiculed this is the company for you. The first clue was the appointment lady who asked me what my spouse's name was before she even knew I had one, first red flag, like a single woman couldn't afford their services, and then insisted my husband be present for the sales consultant, so my husband took leave to be at the meeting.
The sales consultant ridiculed us because we both drove the same car, like who cares? Then when I showed him my drawing for what we wanted for our porch he immediately went on about how a flat roof wasn't a good idea and I should "ask my dad for advice". Just what is that supposed to mean? Did he think my dad bought us our house or something? And refused to acknowledge that there are simple ways to angle it so its flat, like no duh. Then he went on to say that we were outpricing ourselves out of our neighborhood and "we better have a $40,000 budget" without even showing us any options or discussing anything, as though we were financially naive about what this project would cost.
First of all, it's a drawing, not an architects blueprint, and it's not a flat roof anyway, even if it was a flat roof, your job is show me options and recommend changes to help us realize our dreamhouse, otherwise why did I even call you for a consultation? After explaining that there were at least 4 similar houses in the neighborhood he insisted on driving around to see them and then said "oh well I guess we could do something like that but I'll have to get with the architect and make sure." Really? Why isn't the architect the person coming to consult instead of this offensive and insulting person who knew absolutely nothing about what they could do? Then on the way back to the house he was pointing out how our neighbors had bad windows. I mean really.
And after all of that, he didn't even ask my husband anything, so he took off work for nothing. This guy was a complete a-hole. I've never been so insulted by someone trying to sell me their services in my entire life. I would rather not have a porch than allow this horrible company to build it. Respect as a company value, yea right.
We contracted Southern Siding to install 20 windows an over 100 linear feet of gutters. Their sales representative, Tyler Padget, was professional and down to earth. He sold us on the reputation of the company and his personal commitment to his customers. He quickly responded to to the few fixes we requested. We love our new windows and I m confident Southern Siding will continue to honor their lifetime warranty. I highly recommend this company.
I needed a new roof and gutters on the rear of the house replaced. I called Tyler out for the estimate and he gave me the highest price I had heard which was almost twice any competitor on BBB. He agreed to do the roof and gutters for close to competitor prices to get my business. Being the most expensive, I expected the best service, which is not what I received. I specifically told the estimator of rotten wood on my roof and even had him write it in my contract so that it would be replaced. When the roof was replaced, they had already placed membrane over the rotten wood and were about to nail the shingles over the rotten wood as well. On one of my periodic inspections I saw that they had not replaced the wood and asked about it. The workers gave me feedback that it wasn t needed so I told them to stop work and fix it or call someone before they continue. After a few phone calls the membrane was peeled back and the rotten wood was replaced. The rest of the job seemed to go well, except for the cleanup. Again I expected high quality work for the highest price. I personally picked up a handful of nails from my back and front yard that could have caused damage to my guests, my property or me. Different contractors came to install gutters, which were installed subpar for the overall price. The gutters looked great, but the downspout supports were ragged cutouts from my previous downspout. I made a call and they came and replaced the supports as well as ran the magnet on the grounds of my property to pick up more nails. I was always able to get someone and they will come out in a timely manner, but if you have the highest price, I as the customer should be able to leave you to complete the work, come home and be amazed at the workmanship. Instead I was a voluntary roofing and gutter supervisor. I was given a gift card for the hassle and frustration that they caused me, but that doesn t excuse their service.
Super job!!!! Especially the roofing. Wallace Doyle and the sales rep, Chris Johnson did a fantastic job! The sales rep for the windows needs more training and so does the installers on how to deal with people and do follow-ups.
The salesman (Carlos) was very kind and helpful. The work crew, Juan and Pedro, were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. Carlos came back and checked on everything after completion. Thanl you for a job well done.

Had then come to quote a gutter install and ended up getting both gutters and a screened porch installed. Salesman was very professional and the install teams did a great job. Gutter down spout was installed differently than we were told and they came out the next day and fixed without issue.

Gutter Installation: (Subpar Sales Rep / Excellent Installation Crew/ Great Customer Service)
The SALES REP omitted certain very important measurements when conducting the estimate for my home. When the crew came out, they did not install gutters on the part of my home that was currently creating 6 inch puddle of water. When I attempted to call the sales rep his I was constantly sent to voicemail and the voicemail was always full. I was never able to contact the rep.
When I spoke with CUSTOMER SERVICE, they directed me to the office manager and the office manger was able to schedule an appointment right away for a crew to come and address the issue. They were intent on correcting the issue and worked to ensure I was taken care of.
The INSTALLATION CREW, specifically Edgar S. was extremely helpful. There are several difficult, non--standard angles on my home that required him to make custom accommodations to ensure there was no leaks or runoff at all. He kept me updated throughout the project and explained the details of what he was doing and the benefits it would have for the home. He had a great personality and knowledge base, clearly they employ the best for quality work.
They were very prompt and on time. We had a great experience and will use them again when we get ready to replace the last 4 windows in our home.
My experience has been great with Southern Siding and would and has recommended them first among any other company. I have used them actually four times for my home improvements because it's a no hassle company to deal with and they offer a military discount as well to make it easier and they get you financed. They showed me real samples of the things I wanted so that I could actually feel the materials that I was going to receive and gave me a lot of suggestions on colors. It was a win win situation. I don't regret none of my purchases.
