In August we had a debit card change and at that time decided we would no longer pursue coverage through Common Ground. During this time the Marketplace was also seeking out more information from us which we did not send. In October we purchased a healthshare plan. On October 15th common ground proceeded to pull over $2300 from our checking account. This was over $1000 than they had permission to pull and were never given our updated card information. When we called to have them refund this money they told us only the marketplace could do this. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM! The marketplace does not pull your money or refund it. Common ground can go in at any time and pull any amount of money without any notice to you. No emails, phone calls or texts. Do not give them your account info, mail in your premiums. If you are canceling do not let your account term out, call marketplace and cancel immediately. If you over pay at all, common ground makes it virtually impossible to get this money back. They will tell you to appeal it and this can take anywhere from 60-90 days to happen, if it does. They have 12 complaints against them filed with the Better Business Bureau. Not a company I would ever work with again or recommend using. Do your research, build a relationship with your insurance broker, and do not give out your financial information. Good luck.

I would give them zero if I could. The worst customer service I ve ever had since it is non existent. I waited on hold two separate times for 54 min and emailed twice with no response. Unbelievable awful to deal with and couldn t get simply answers off their website even their FAQ section was blank, apparently nobody asks questions since they can never get to a person to ask it to.

I love this insurance. Bumpy at the start but they have excellent customer service to help. This insurance helped me get surgery for breast cancer. The policy we have is extremely affordable for monthly premiums and medications. My payment obligations were calculated efficiently and reasonable for the cost i owed for surgery.

I have been trying to communicate with common ground on behalf of a client of mine, and am starting to feel that they are deliberately not returning my calls and evading my being able to reach a person. No one answers and then I am told that voice mail boxes are full and the call is disconnected.

Awful customer support. Call hold times over 2 hours, didn't even talk to a person. I did manage to contact them via Facebook but only received a generic response and no help on my simple follow up question. I'm really regretting going through them

I moved my family coverage to Common Ground Healthcare Cooperative and had an amazing experience. Honestly, I didn't expect it to go well. Was I ever surprised, in a good way. We got all of our doctors. Our prescriptions were all covered. Invoices made more sense than what we were used to with our previous giant, for-profit, insurer. Copays were totally fine. And our monthly premium went down by hundreds of dollars. I have recommended them to others and they've had a positive experience too after they made the switch.

Spoke with Evette & Raneshia today regarding a number of claims I needed to be reviewed with respect to my deductible. Both ladies were super-helpful, friendly and helping in anyway they could. Thank you both!

Extremely poor insurance that I don t want anymore. They have made me wait so long for a prescription need. I ve called multiple times (more than 10) Yet, they still aren t doing much. Can t wait to tell them I m leaving their insurance as a customer!!

Worst customer service ever. More than doubled my rates without so much as letting me know in advance. They just take and take and take for no reason. I wouldn t count on them if I needed too.

Awful experience all around. BEWARE!!!! I have had a major billing issue with Common Ground due to some inaccurate information that I was given by a Derrik who works there. I was given the manager's name and number and have attempted to reach her 2 times and left 2 detailed messages on her voicemail and never heard back. The customer service is horrible and the 3 people they have working there are not knowledgeable. I switched my health insurance plan as soon as I was able to. This company needs to be nonexistent!!!!!

Dear Sirs ,

Dear Sirs ,
I have had a common ground health policy since 2014 that I have been very satisfied with and it worked well for me I had purchased thru the exchange. This year that policy had been discontinued and after speaking with ODI at Marketing department in your letter he was very helpful in finding a appropriate policy and helping me complete the process with healthcare.gov. He took the reins and just made the change seamless for 2016 and we were also able to get the payments made for the January done with the electronic payment system. I would just like to say Thank You for the quality of personnel and your attention to detail and helping the customer. Please pass this note on to him.

I switched Insurance's as of December 13, 2017 and my common ground plan was made inactive, yet there was a $550+ payment taken from my account on December 26th, stating that it was for coverage for Jan, 2018.
When I called common ground I was told that it was taken out because the payment processer for the automatic payments wasn't done through them, it was a third party and I'd have to turn off my automatic payments online and then wait up to a month to receive my money back. So, the insuance company took my money out for insurance that I do not want and do not have, and blamed me because I had set up automatic payments as to never be late with a payment to them. Now I can't pay my rent for January and they said there is nothing they can do about it.

I have never had a problem with Common Ground. Claims are paid on time and it's easy to get a hold of customer service. You may have to wait a few minutes when a person calls but, to me that's a very short wait.

TERRIBLE. I have repeatedly been unable to log into the site because I don't have a card from them yet, haven't been able to choose a doctor or do anything. No one ever answers the phone, and I have no car so I cannot drive to Brookfield to visit their office in person. No way to arrange a call-back because THAT function of the website doesn't work. And all the negative reviews from other people sound like mine! If you're reading this Common Ground, YOU'RE NOT GETTING ANOTHER CENT OUT OF ME UNTIL YOU CONTACT ME. I will refuse to pay the remainder of the year's premiums unless you take prompt and clear action to help solve this issue. I'd rather go to the free clinic without insurance for the rest of the year than send you any more money beyond the initial check you had no trouble at all cashing. You are practically a scam!

I paid for a policy I had no access to. I called and waited on hold for 44 minutes before obtaining information I was assured was accurate and would work and it did not. I cancelled the policy and called to verify that it was cancelled prior to the effective date and inquired about my refund and was told it was processing (I sould have known better since it took over a week for them to acknowledge they ever received my premium) It has now been over a week since that conversation and I still have no refund. It amazes me how the marketplace has no "control or repsonsibility" as it relates to this but the actual insurance company itself is just as clueless and without control.

This company is incredibly poorly run. When I try to get into my account and put in the user name and password it and it either gives me an error message or it goes to a non-existent account. Wait time on the phone today was over an hour and a half and I still did not reach anyone. It is absolutely incredible. This is a 3rd world operation.

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Common Ground. My doctor is in network and I made sure of that before I enrolled. I have never had a claim denied. In fact, this is the first time I've had a mammogram where I paid next to nothing. I love this insurance!

Talk about a lousy health care plan, WOW, this company takes the prize for being outright USELESS!!!
Got stuck with them through the Marketplace(total crap) after the loss of HIRSP. Paying $665 dollars a month for my 23 year old son and myself. They covered nothing of my therapy after a cortisone shot in my hip, which I had to get to be able to walk. At the beginning of the year my premium goes up to $747 a month! My husband has been disabled of 6 years and I lost my job. Our son is a full time student and is working part-time with no insurance. When I call the Marketplace, they tell me that premiums are going to go up, SO GET USED TO IT AND I SHOULD BE ABLE TO PAY $800 A MONTH!! So because Common Ground has raised my premiums, which I CAN'T AFFORD, I have to take a lower plan that doesn't include ANY of the doctors that we have had for 25 years. (IF YOU LIKE YOUR DOCTORS, YOU CAN KEEP YOUR DOCTORS) But my question is how do you pay for it? The new plan is $600 a month supposedly 70/40 but the deductible is 7,500 a piece! And that went into effect Feb 1st but I still do no have a medical card and can't even get a new doctor. I've run out of medication that I take for cholesterol and psoriasis because I (1) don't have a doctor to prescribe it and(2) I can't get ahold of anyone at Common Ground who knows what is going on with my plan. Since my husband lost his job and became disabled on top of it, we have fallen 10's of thousands of dollars in debt and because of the ridiculous premiums and co-pays, deductibles and out of pocket costs we are trying to sell our home and I'm ready to walk out into traffic!! Is this some kind of Joke?????You can't get any help from these people and every month we go deeper in the hole to an insurance company that covers nothing and will NOT help you! We paid over $15,000 in medical costs last year on Social Security and I went to the doctor twice, for a physical and for the hip shot and they covered virtually nothing. Never in my life did I think I'd live to see this kind of craziness! I don't know what other people are doing but this is insanity!

I set up auto pay on my account and decided to make my payment ahead of schedule because I actually had funds to do it in advance and come the day my auto payment was due they took another payment. Then I call them and they say it can take 30 days to get a refund. I hang up and call my bank. Then call common ground back to he disconnected after 30 MINUTES IN HOLD! I d give NO STARS IF I COULD!

These people and the company border on criminal. The executives should be arrested for putting their customers health and life in peril. Why the state of Wisconsin has not stepped in and shut these people down is beyond me. If I could post this review by giving them no stars (which is what they deserve) I would.

By far, the best individual health insurance company I've ever worked with. I am self employed and went many years without insurance because I was tired of dumping loads of money into useless plans that covered nothing. I'm now paying less than half what I had been previously and getting at least twice the coverage. The plans are simple and straight forward.
I haven't had any reason to use their customer service, so I can't comment on that. But, their billing system has greatly improved since I started coverage with them several years ago.

When my son had pass away had to call them up a couple of times to see why he was still on the plan.
Keep on having issues with them returning the payment. Where we have it set up where they take it out every month. Not a very happy person.

I'm on my third call to their customer service line and waiting for 15+ minutes. AGAIN. I don't have time to wait 15-20 minutes at 2 in the afternoon on a Thursday. Avoid this insurance company if you like prompt customer service

This place is an absolute JOKE!!!! I have back pain so bad I have gone to Urgent Care 3 TIMES to get a pain relieving shot just to get through the day. I need an MRI to find out why I am having debilitating pain but can not get the MRI for 3 WEEKS due to this JOKE of a place not approving until it has been 3 WEEKS or to sound better 15 Business Days aka 3 WEEKS!!! My Dr. even called them and she called me back stating that in order for me to get an MRI asap I would have to go the ER and pay those fees but thats all I can do. The Dr. even suggested leaving this Healthcare Ins. due to the issues. Either spend the couple hundred extra dollars for another insurer or DO NOT SPEND IT HERE AT ALL!!!! And the hold time? I make sure my cell is plugged in and I have nothing to do for an hour. Come on Common Ground you have had this issue for MONTHS FIX IT!!! And your reply: Response from the owner6 months ago
As a non-profit insurer, we are not focused on money but on service to others. If you've had a bad experience, we would like to have a chance to fix it.

WHAT SERVICE?!?! THERE IS NONE. You leave those you "serve" on hold for hours, won't allow them to get the tests they need in a timely manner and make them suffer to the point they should not even have health insurance and go live in third world country. Get it together or do us a favor and go out of business.

Thank You and have a nice day.

Update: 1/26/18. Got a message about my invoice. Called again. Went through the multiple machinations (press 1 for .... press 2 for press 3, 4, 5, 6. 7, 8,9...) Now on hold for 6:15 minutes listening to bad music. Deciding to hang up. I keep thinking a friend is playing a joke on me, but this is really happening.

Brutal. Got a bill for $6,300 +. I do NOT have insurance with Common Ground!!!. Tried to call them and never spoke to a live person. Hung up after being put on hold multiple times for over 12 minutes. Finally decided to just send a letter. Waiting for them to respond.

I've never had a problem with this insurance company, every time I've called I've gotten an answer, every time I emailed I've gotten a response. It really seems like the folks I spoke with cared about me as an individual and what I needed.

Terrible customer service. Plus, my wife just got a job this year, making an extra 1k per month for our family. CGHC decides my premium should be $400 more per month, and has more than tripled the cost of every presription we have, and for me that is costly with my asthma meds. Currently shopping other plans, I would stay away.

They constantly say I havent paid my premium. Just got another letter saying my grace period is almost up. ITS PAID!!!!!!! Half the time I dont get a bill and when I do its wrong. These people need to get some people working for them that have at least half a brain. Customer service is aweful. You cant speak to a human!! Bad, Bad Bad!!!!

Barely any doctors available. Had to fight to get a medication I've been getting for years and ended up having to change it because I just can't deal with this company. Oh yeah and paid for full month early...yet they didn't turn on my insurance until I called them 8 days in.....still waiting on that call back from supervisor 9 weeks and counting. I make too much on unemployment for state hc...but you can't possibly think this place is a viable choice!! This had been the worst experience ever....AVOID THEM!

Just absolutely terrible provider. My tripped and ...

Just absolutely terrible provider. My tripped and broke her shoulder early in the morning. Took her to the ER that they told me to take her to(The previous time she needed to go to the ER for a temperature, they charged me over 12,000$ despite our maximum out of pocket for a FAMILY being 12,000 and already having met that).
So the ER calls and makes an appointment for an orthopedic surgeon that's in network. We show up and they tell us they're not in network.

I call Common Ground and the best they can do is to tell me to call orthopedic surgeons in the area and see if they are in network. Everyone I call has no idea what I'm talking about and tells me I have to call Common Ground to find out if they're in network.

Just an absolutely terrible, joke of a provider.

Not good so far, and I've barely had them two months. It's an absolute pain to get online to pay my premium, and even right now while I'm entering the information that their reps *told me* to enter it's telling me my info is invalid. It's an absolute pain to get online to do anything at all.

I still haven't gotten an insurance card and it's been two months, and the reason was that apparently the payments take a really long time to go through the correct systems. I've tried to go online to download copies, but as previously stated, I never seem to be able to login despite using my member ID, my account number, and my email. They're not great at answering online requests even when you enter a specific time and date that you'd like to be contacted.

This company is garbage. They took my premium payment, gave me a receipt, then denied me coverage saying I didn't pay my premium!! I tried calling multiple times, wasted hours on hold and still couldn't get through to a human being. Save your money and your time and go elsewhere.

They consistently messed up our billing and threatened dropping us when we actually had credit on our account. We spoke to multiple representatives who said they would fix it, they never did. Now they are trying to save money by denying health coverage and saying that it is unnecessary.
We joined the Common Ground because we believed in the principles that it represented but it has grossly underperformed and proven to be a headache and no better than any other insurance company trying to save money by denying coverage.

I wanted to comment on the excellent provider service I received today with a representative named Tyler. I contacted the Common Ground website with my Kudos (contact us), and the response was "Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience with Tyler. Although we do not offer any formal surveys to complete it would mean a lot if you will consider sharing your feedback on Google Review"...SO--- I wanted to say that as an employee who makes calls to insurance companies daily, the level of service from Tyler was just amazing. He was professional, articulate, and most of all, very knowledgeable (and FAST) when responding to my questions and inquiries. I jokingly told him I wish they would clone him! It was truly a pleasure speaking to him today. KUDOS Tyler :) I do not usually take time to write a feedback note or take surveys, but in this case I feel the compliments were well deserved.

They charged me 2 times for 2 months! Now I m on the phone trying to talk to someone and been on hold for 30 mins so far! I only have an hour break! This is bs. Even with all that being done the pharmacy is STILL saying my insurance isn t going through due to non payment! You gotta be kidding me!!

Online access is terrible . Customer service is inadequate the help is not helpful at all. I have had numerous providers that our family see tell us Commonground is also very difficult for them to get explanations and payment from .

The absolute worst company of any kind I have ever dealt with. Consistently terrible customer service. Unanswered e-mails, Hours on hold. Constantly erroneous, late and confusing billing. Uninformed representatives. They assure you you're covered and only too late do you discover that it's for pennies on the dollar. I am facing literally thousands of dollars of medical debt incurred while I was giving Common Ground thousands more in premiums. I just got a bill for my annual preventative care physical, for which they covered nothing. Nothing. I would have been better off without their insurance. I have never given a company so much and received so little in return. In just the last month I have received bills totaling almost $2000 for treatment for which they assured me I was "covered". One star is one star too many. Turn and run.

got this insurance ONLY to cover my meds. I don't see a Dr. one month into it they don't cover my meds anymore. I can't switch coverage until November. its February!!!! I hate this insurance. my meds are not covered. im a schizophrenic. off my meds. I'm going to end up stabbing my brain out.

The customer service is horrible. LATRISHA, the so called "supervisor " was extremely rude and lied. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They give you the run around. Was told that letters were mail to our home and we never received anything. If they had negative stars I would choose that option.

Had surgery over 2 months ago for a broken neck, they cherry picked a few bills to pay. They say they are busy and up to 60-90 days behind. bills that are a week old get paid and ones over 2 months have not been touched. I have to call and find the real reason for not paying them, it takes 5 minutes to fix and still no payment. One person at 9am said they needed a w-9 which was sent 3 days ago. I called at 1pm after watching it faxed in person. The person who helped said they already had it from the 29th, 3 days ago. The notes she read was my call earlier, she was very nice and apologized. I just called and was told I cant see claims until the EOB prints. I was on the website discussing a bill not paid, so no EOB, they need better training or stop talking. She also informed me that the claims department was not available to speak with customers, they are too busy. I have gotten referrals for them, no one asked, I read the policy and found out on my own. Bills sent to them with doctors from same group are the best. They pay a couple right away and ignore the others and wont tell me why or how I can help. A very nice person said I can ask for expedited claim service in June, person today said it didnt exist. I get it, your busy. Cant get good help(same issues everywhere). I picked you because of the local co-op, on same team values you promised. Think I have suffered enough, expecting collection notices soon, then judgments and the bill hasn't even been through claims yet. I really need help.
Update, I found a contact, who made no promises but was polite and understood my frustration and started a review to make sure they would find any issues causing the delays, communicate with me if they needed anything. I also understand it all could be they are just behind, but have a advocate to help. Not a easy number to find, but she would spend all day fielding calls not ready for her help. If its important you will find it.

Yes the one star "Hated it" describes my experience perfectly. If there was a zero star I would have opted for it. Totally unorganized. No follow-thru. Average 20 minutes on hold to speak to someone.
One person tells you one thing, then the next tells you something different. Please unless you like to be frustrated, agitated, and disgusted , do not do business with this company. For now I'm stuck with them for one year.

Signed.....Sorry for choosing Commonground

So far, knock on wood, this insurance has been pretty reasonable and even easy to understand. Not cheap, but much better than the last experience I had with Fidelis in New York. I guess everything is relative, but I am pleasantly surprised.

OMG! Common Ground Healthcare Cooperative is the worst company that I have other done business with. Today for the 7th time in 14 months I have spent over 3 hours with them on the phone regarding a billing issue. It always starts when I go to pick up a prescription and I am denied coverage. Common Ground is only open from 8am - 5pm on Monday - Friday. So if you have problems outside of business hours, you have to pay for the script out of pocket or wait until they open to get the problem resolved. We have had to do this in the past. The reimbursement paperwork and procedure is a NIGHTMARE! This time they told me that our plan is denied because they have not received the tax credit information from The Health Insurance Market Place. They said that they will escalate the problem and can take up to three days. I insisted that it was not acceptable and that I needed to resolve this now so I can get my script. She said that I could come in and that the walk-in representative could help me. After 2.25 hrs on the phone with the first rep she finally transferred to someone else. This person told me within minutes that there were no problems with tax credit from the Market Place. She said that our automatic online charges did not go through. I went online and placed the payment and it went through. Other experiences have been the same where they just cancel us out of no where. DO NOT CHOOSE COMMON GROUND. I implore you to find a different company to get your government health care from. STAY AWAY! I missed the first half day of work today because of this. I have all phone conversations recorded and I am very tempted to post them on YouTube, Vimeo and FB so people that think this is not true can experience it themselves.I have reported my experience with the BBB and plan to file a complaint with the State of Wisconsin - Office of the Commissioner of Insurance. I don't know what else to do. Our family is at the end of our rope with them. Remember the line 'if you like your doctors, you can keep your doctors'? That's BS! Common Ground is the only company where our doctors are covered. So we are forced to use them.

Just learned of a change that was made for my cove...

Just learned of a change that was made for my coverage for 2017 for which they claim to have mailed me a letter to explain the change. I am on a drug for a preexisting disease and the drug company helps me stay on the drug which is crucial to me staying healthy. The drug company pays for the drug 100 percent which used to be applied to my deductible. NOW Common Ground says they will no longer apply the drug companies money toward my deductible and that my deductible MUST be out of my own pocket. I already pay $800 a month for single coverage. What difference does it make where the money comes from to meet my deductible? Money is money, and the help I receive from the drug company helps me stay healthy. If they didn't help me there is no way I could afford the huge premium and my $7150 deductible. What the heck Common Ground, money is money who cares where it comes from! With your change to my policy I will be forced to discontinue my treatments that are vital to my well being. All because you won't accept the financial help I receive from the drug company to be applied to my deductible. Makes no sense to me! I will blame you when I become totally disabled from not being able to use my financial help the way it is meant to be used. Shame on you!

If you're into long hold times and confusion, by all means sing right up. It was a good idea at launch being a non-profit and all, but didn't work out in my opinion. Many of my providers complain about them, and in the end they just kept raising my rates by double digits every year. I'm switching to Molina.

Awful. My insurance was dropped due to an error in my auto-pay through my bank, I was never notified by phone or email, only two letters that I did not receive due to me being away from my home for an extended period of time. They were incredibly unhelpful throughout the entire experience.

Worst insurance company I've ever had the dis-satisfaction of working with. My billing is NEVER accurate which causes me to have to pay full price for prescription due to being turn down at the pharmacy. When you call it takes them forever to answer - half of the reps are either rude or have no knowledge about what it is they're doing. The supervisors say they'll call you back within 26-48 hrs it took them over a week. I'm am changing this service as soon as I get the opportunity to do so. I am highly displeased with this company.

My insurance started out by telling me I will have...

My insurance started out by telling me I will have all the same doctors. This never happened. I lost all my doctors which were important to me since I have a brain tumor. I started having some pains in my side. I went to my family doctor which was cool as hell by the way. Mr Kolonowski.is great. I needed a colonoscopy. So what Aurora did was look up what deductibles were paid and realizing I have fullfilled them and the best way to cash in was to put me in out of network doctors. They told me they had no GI doctors in the network which was lie. Everyone in the room with me was out of network. Out of pocket expense was $2000!!!!!!! After I have covered almost all of the deductible brackets. Look on line and you will see how many GI doctors that aurora has and they go and set me up. How unethical can you be??? My insurance tried telling me it was not covered because I had slight pain in my side. I am going to court with these assoles!!!!!!!!!!! Ps the star was forced upon me to post this. Really creeps me out that I have to post a star when they are far from star status. Someone bonused on my behalf. I hope had fun in Hawii cause we are going to the courthouse to explain yourself creep. Then I get a letter stating the provider used of network providers. Brenda does not answer her phone or return calls. Nobody wants to take the blame for going to out of network providers when Aurora had in network capability. Thats why they own half of Milwaukee already!!!

At first, I thought I had a great insurance, but then I received a letter saying I was about to lose my insurance. Only way I could reach out to them was by going to their office. They said my insurance would be fine, and i had insurance. Today, I came to urgent care with Aurora and they said i don t have an active insurance with them. I regret getting insurance through them because I paid my premium on December and still had to pay to see a doctor!

Great Insurance Company! I am really picky about everything. When making any decisions I analyze every single little detail. Common Ground is a great choice, and I recommend them by far! Please don't believe their 2 star rating, I'm baffled as to why they are rated so low on Google reviews. They are great, really.

I started a new job in MKE and was not provided health insurance until I was hired on. CGHC came to my rescue. Their plans were easy to understand and there was a lot of variety in networks. I only had them for 5 months but it was a seamless experience.

I had multiple wonderful experiences with Evette, who worked very hard to override my hold with prescription coverage so I was able to get my much needed inhaler before it ran out. Thank you so much for the help Evette!!

We have used CG for 2014. Needed coverage after Wisconsin dropped HIRSP. Used ACA system to compare (that was fun in 2013...) The 5 stars are based on the entire experience and comments highlighted below. Note 2015 options have improved for our county, so shop around.

Cons: Customer service was horrible in beginning, however they are a startup and did not solution CS well. This seems to be improving.

Pros: Claims are processed with decent timeliness.
They were only one of two companies in our county that covered Columbia/St Marys
They provided an option for insurance as a startup when the "for big profit" health insurance companies bailed. Kudos.

UPDATE: Just called customer service and while the wait time was 12 minutes (you know where you are in que) the CS rep was very helpful and informative. (thanks April!)

I cannot thank Raneshia at Common Ground enough! Just excellent customer service. She went WAY out of her way for me setting me up with the right doctor when I was having a tough time finding one myself. She made sure he was in network and actually stayed on the phone with me to make sure everything went accordingly. Common Ground is the best move I could have made for my health care. Thanks again!!

GET A PLAN WITH SOMEONE ELSE. THEY COMPLETELY SCREWED ME OVER. Would give zero stars if I could. Everything was fine until the 27th of December, just a few days before my coverage with them would be ending on the first of the new year in 2018. That day, they STOLE nearly $500 from my account, instead of what would have been the usual day to take my final monthly premium of $12.71. Every time I have called them I have been stuck on hold for 30 minutes to an hour. The first call the woman attempted to blame me at first, then she tried to tell me I was wrong about how much my premium actually was even though I'd been paying the same one for a while for the same plan. On several occasions since that day I have been told I will get my money back by a certain day, and each time the day has come and past. It has now been nearly a MONTH and still no refund, even though when I spoke with them most recently this past Friday, they said they had processed the refund and it would be there by Tuesday at the latest. It is now Thursday. They said it might be a hold from my bank, well guess what? My bank says they see nothing, and now they have helped me begin a dispute in order to reclaim the funds, which could take even LONGER. Screw you guys, I hope you never get another customer and go extinct like you deserve. I've never experienced such a travesty in the way of customer care and or service. Give me back my damn money. And if you want to reply to this asking me to CALL YOU AGAIN, shove it. I'm sick of your games and sitting on hold forever. I have a life and other things I need to be doing. So again, either give me back what you STOLE from me or shut up. Goodbye and I hope when this is done it is goodbye forever. Unbelievable.

Year 3 with CGHC, and things just keep going downhill. We are self-insured business owners who pay outrageous premiums even though we are completely healthy, which have gone from $600 to $1350 with the highest catastrophic deductibles possible. Website is absolutely archaic, non-functional, with broken links and blank pages (example FAQ's page link comes up empty). I HATE calling to have simple questions answered because it is never less than a 10 minute wait on hold (most recent was 14 minutes), and when you do get someone, they can't answer your simple question or proceed to give out inaccurate information. Completely useless member services via web or phone. I'd hate to get injured or sick and actually have to use the actual health insurance product. Absolutely ridiculous company. Would not recommend to anyone.

I ve had CGHC for two years now, they have made some major improvements in the last year. It is an incredibly affordable option with good coverage. For their customer service you actually get to talk to a real person who cares and their claims are processed in a timely manner.

Hello everyone my name is Andrew Johnson. Today I went to common ground because I was having issues with my paperwork that was sent to me from the health market place regarding my health coverage. However Linda Dukes and Marva Thompson helped me resolve my issues with know problem. Both of them have excellent customer service skills and know how to meet the needs of common ground members. I give both of these women 5 stars for a job well done. Thank you....

Garbage tier insurance with little doctor availability and an awful network. Earliest appointment I could make was months away. Showed up to my appointment only to find out it was rescheduled for another month out. What a joke.

I was trying to figure out if I could leave zero stars but I guess Google doesn't allow that. I've been self-employed my entire life, so I've always had to pay for my own health insurance. Unfortunately now the options have become less and less. This company is by far the worst I've ever dealt with in my 25 years of paying for health insurance. The one thing they are very good at, is accepting payments. Oh yes, they always make sure they get paid right on time. So I guess that's something??

They never ever answer their phone. I was on the phone for almost an entire hour before I hung up. The disgusting thing about that is that I needed to talk to them because I couldn't get into my account. They can't even take payments over the phone: horrible!

This company is so poorly run. Not only do they never answer my questions directly, but more often I never hear from them at all. In these past few weeks I've attempted to call them 7 times and waited 20-30 minutes before just hanging up. No ones calls me back, no place to leave a message. I have one simple question about my premium but can't even get THAT answered. Go use an insurance company that's already been established, this one's a joke and a waste of your time and money.

The premium tax credit is a joke. It's a scam. Just a way of making everyone think they are able to afford the healthcare. Got my taxes done and found I have to pay back the entire premium which is over $3000. Where am I supposed to find that money now? Never used my insurance once anyway.

Don t forget a medication when you leave for vacation because you will have to wait 3-5 business days for them to approve a refill, that includes medicine vital for your survival, like test strips. We pay $1000 for our family of three and they cover NOTHING. Until we reach a $18,000 deductible. WHAT A JOKE!
