Had surgery over 2 months ago for a broken neck, they cherry picked a few bills to pay. They say they are busy and up to 60-90 days behind. bills that are a week old get paid and ones over 2 months have not been touched. I have to call and find the real reason for not paying them, it takes 5 minutes to fix and still no payment. One person at 9am said they needed a w-9 which was sent 3 days ago. I called at 1pm after watching it faxed in person. The person who helped said they already had it from the 29th, 3 days ago. The notes she read was my call earlier, she was very nice and apologized. I just called and was told I cant see claims until the EOB prints. I was on the website discussing a bill not paid, so no EOB, they need better training or stop talking. She also informed me that the claims department was not available to speak with customers, they are too busy. I have gotten referrals for them, no one asked, I read the policy and found out on my own. Bills sent to them with doctors from same group are the best. They pay a couple right away and ignore the others and wont tell me why or how I can help. A very nice person said I can ask for expedited claim service in June, person today said it didnt exist. I get it, your busy. Cant get good help(same issues everywhere). I picked you because of the local co-op, on same team values you promised. Think I have suffered enough, expecting collection notices soon, then judgments and the bill hasn't even been through claims yet. I really need help.
Update, I found a contact, who made no promises but was polite and understood my frustration and started a review to make sure they would find any issues causing the delays, communicate with me if they needed anything. I also understand it all could be they are just behind, but have a advocate to help. Not a easy number to find, but she would spend all day fielding calls not ready for her help. If its important you will find it.
