Ordered a stereo online for Black Friday. Received...

Ordered a stereo online for Black Friday. Received a call today that the item was discontinued? I call BS as I can hear 3 others in the background making the same phone calls to other customers. What happened was someone listed the item for way below cost and they will not honor the price listed. This is not the way business is done. The speaker system is not discontinued as you can still buy it on every other website it is listed. Also on no website does it say the speaker is discontinued. Don t trust these guys! Bad customer service. Won t honor the listing price they posted. Was also told they can get more but it would be another $300! Wow sounds like a great place to buy from. So much for the VIP guarante .... so much for Avilable in stock!

Found a great price on head unit. Website says 2 day delivery. Ordered on Wednesday, expected it to be here Friday. However it's actually going to be here the following Monday. Don't say two day delivery. If it's not actually two days from order to delivery. Misleading. Now, my entire install is messed up because of the misleading delivery time. I'd rather pay for actual two day delivery and it actually be two days. Rather than free delivery and hopefully it'll be there in two days. Fix it. Debating weather I'll return here for future. Ordered product from another website with two day delivery. Ordered Wednesday. UPS has it out for delivery for Friday. I actually believe this problem is from long processing times. It's took me 1 full day to even get an email confirmation of my order. Other company was 2 minutes and I had an email confirmation. You guys have to speed it up.

They shipped be a remote start with a immobilizer that were not compatible. At the end of the professional install my pro tried to plug them together and NOT COMPATIBLE, he also told me they unnecessarily sold me the most expensive immobilizer instead of a cheaper one that does the same. Called the company, they said the sales guy should have known that and we can take the part out ship to them and they will ship the right one. Since they ordered the wrong part I wound up paying for 7 hrs worth of install instead of 1.5hrs. After buying $140 worth of parts they said they would give me a $10 credit after it cost me $150 more than I expected in Install. Then they offered me a $20 in store credit. What a slap in the face. They said they are sorry they can't do any better than that. Even spoke to a Supervisor, then manager. ALL said the same. VERY POOR Service from a VERY BAD COMPANY. I will NEVER do business with them again and recommend anyone not to.

The website is very easy to navigate, being able to shop by make and model of your vehicle makes it easy to get what you want and know it will fit in your car. Had a factory stereo and speakers in my 2000 Durango, speakers blew and stereo only had a tape player. I was able to replace it without breaking the bank like I expected to. I got my stereo and speakers within four days of ordering. Very nice prices and just a great experience all around.

I've shopped with Sonic for about over a year or so. I ordered the JL Audio HD/1200 for the best price I've seen (open box). I recieved it in perfect condition and not a scratch on it. The amp performs like it should (smoked my Alpine type R) on accident but now ordering the JL Audio 13W7 to take that power. Also best price (open box) on the 13W7 in box. Responded to me instantly today and showed awesome customer service. We messaged through Facebook for an hour figuring things out. I came out better than originally expected and will continue to work with this friendly company as long as they keep showing love to their customers. They went out of the way to get me some info too, very much appreciated Sonic!

Eli from Facebook is the absolute man. This guy definitely needs a raise. I don t know if anybody will read this but I placed a order on the 14th of this month. And has the biggest issues getting anyone to tell me anything for 6 days about my order. Literally no info and the lady y all have answering the phone when she feels like it. Is absolutely clueless in the job she was placed in. Eli single handily is the only saving grace for this company. If it wasn t for him y all would basically have to close the doors due to complaints and lack of trust in this place due to nothing being said period until Eli from Facebook got on and handled everyone s complaints and has been for days and I know there are some seriously harsh messages he s received and remained as professional as I have ever seem a person be. Regarding the shipment of the order, it came fast. but that has been the most positive aspect of my experience: When I ordered the radio, the site said it would fit my vehicle, but it didn't. I have called and took advantage of "call me back" option, but never received a call back (been over 24 hours now). I submitted a return request on line like the sticker on the side of the box said, and have not received any positive or negative feedback yet (it has also been over 24 hours). So, in summary, my experience with this order and the customer service has been overwhelmingly dis-satisfying. Please get back with me, arrange to pick up your radio, and refund my money.

I had decided to do a system in my Montero Sport and had picked out everything I wanted/needed and called with a last couple questions. The person that took my call was Travis. He answered the call and was very professional and extremely nice. I am the type of person who has a million questions and he answered each and every one and never at any point made me feel rushed or put out regardless of the difficulty of the questions. He even walked me through everything I had in my basket and gave me several discounts and threw in a couple extra things at no charge. I don't know why people gave this place a low rating and it makes you wonder if the reviews are legitimate. Most of the older reviews didn't have explanation and even the ones with explanation, it was just so non-believable. Some lady said she received an empty box. That is just laughable. I, myself, on the other hand, haven't had any issue with this company, Sonic Electronix. I have bought about 8 items from them in the past 15 years from their Ebay or Amazon storefront and they arrived fast and well packed. I usually do research and know what I want before I make the purchase so I didn't have any reasons for returns. Pioneer is an excellent brand and best value for money if people can't decide. If they keep up with good selection and good price, I won't hesitate to buy from them again in the future.

I surprised my mother with an upgraded stereo only for it to stop working less than six months after purchasing. Originally, I was told the shipping label would be send to my address only for it to never show up. A month later I call several times trying to get a hold of someone as everything is boxed up and waiting to be shipped back. I called to confirm that they received the stereo and to find out how long until I can have a new one sent out. 3 MONTHS LATER, I've been on hold for 30+minutes each time I've called to check on the status as there is a HUGE HOLE IN MY MOTHERS CAR where the stereo is supposed to be! I've spoken to management and complained but BUYERS BEWARE of the horrible customer service and lack of communication. Fingers crossed this stereo is here Friday. My mother's been without a stereo since Thanksgiving and it's now two months into the new year.

So today I finalized my 3rd order with Sonic Electronix and once again they really impressed me with their customer service skills. I had the pleasure of dealing with Travis through a slightly complicated transaction due to PayPal using my previous address. But Travis fixed it in a jiffy. And thats not even the beginning of how great he was. He got me an amazing deal on an amazing product. He was very proactive on making this transaction as smooth as he could. Making sure the customer, me, was not only satisfied but literally BLOWN AWAY by how well he treated me and helped me. He exceeded every expectation I had. I have made several returns to sonic electronix. I have an account and have verified that my returns have been received by them. I have not received the refund to my credit card. I called and spoke to Qunetin on Friday June 19th and was told that the refunds were processed as store credit accidentally. She then stated that she was "processing" the refunds right then and we should received out refund in the next 7 days. It is not July 3rd and I have not received. Website advertises free no hassle return. The items were receved 5/21 & 6/9. It is now the following month with no refunds. When you call you are on hold, the customer service agents who answer the phones won't allow you to speak to a supervisor. I just want my money back

This place absolutely sucks I ordered 2 high end subwoofers from them and they STILL HAVE NOT SHIPPED THEM. The site said they would arrive over a week ago and I still have no shipping confirmation. Their customer service takes forever and is terrible once you finally do get a call back the people are nice but still cant help. I have called them and emailed so many times, all I want is my subs I wish I ordered them from somewhere else. It's a long weekend and wanted to bump my subs on my trip up to the lake. I'm done with this company they knowingly and intentionally sold me defective subwoofers and even told me this over the phone! Now that the other subwoofer lasted about a month they want me to pay for all the shipping charges for a subwoofer they knew was gonna fail! Mind you these subwoofers are still under warranty and they would rather you keep replacing them instead of them fixing the problem with a replacement subwoofer of a different brand.

Once they got your money there done with you, your on your own!

Bought two NVX amps and could only get three of four channels to work on each amp. SE tested both amps and tells me they are fine but I know they were bad because they replaced an existing amp that while underpowered worked just fine and the amp is the only thing that I changed all wiring remained unchanged. SE made me take store credit so I bought a Cerwin Vega amp and that amp also works just fine with existing wiring. So I think that proves the NVX amps were bad. Why two stars. One the entire process was very painful from start to finish and took about a month. Two the first response they gave me was we tested the amp, noting is wrong, you own it and if you don't want it you can always sell it yourself. Third after pushing back on them taking a defective amp back they told me they would give me store credit which and took and ended up with a product that does work So to be fair in the end it all worked out(which is why I did not give them one star review) I took store credit paid the difference for a more expensive product and it works.

Fed Ex showed up with the package later that day after there was a mistake on their end. Sad I have to give 1 star. I placed an order April 29th with a date for May 5th. Still received NOTHING multiple calls and emails. Finally get an actual person to email me back. I was supposed to get a REFUND then I get a email stating it partially shipped which it DID NOT ONLY A LABEL WAS MADE. I literally attached every email I have sent since May 5th along with call logs . Then I'm told to request a RA and print a shipping label when I get the item. I asked which Item was shipped hoping it wasn't the empty speaker box. Hoping it was the speakers, nope I get a reply it was the empty box and now I'm supposed to jump through hoops to get my money back after I been requesting a refund for over 2 weeks. I can NEVER no matter the time of day get a person to answer the phone. There is only a label made the item hasn't left the Warehouse yet. Cancel it and just give me my money back already!!!! You already ruined a birthday surprise but I guess you are ruining a father's day also.

I have been ordering from Sonic Electronix for like 10 years now they are the authority in 12V electronics. The sales team is very knowledgeable about the products they offer, I have yet to deal with a Sonic associate that doesn't believe that the customer is always right. Sonic Electronix is your one stop for anything audio or 12V not to mention the extended warranties they offer are simply a must and unmatched by other sellers in the same genre. I got to give special shout outs to Travis, Curtis, and Cody. Very knowledgeable, and refreshingly accommodating sales associates the lot of em!! Thanks Guys!!!

I really liked this company and was really supportive for there business but after having so much problems with their customer support I feel like I probably will never gone deal with them again. When I order my entire audio system I had a chance to order somewhere else "even cheaper" but I figured I'll pay more cuz of any problems I will get help and life support that I can get it for days now..... 18 to 20 people in the front of me and then it's getting disconnected.. do they have just one person who work in call center??

Be careful with this company. Their website will immediately take full payment and provide estimated dates that have nothing to do with their actual ability to fulfill the order.

After my order status didn t seem to change over 3 days, I contacted them.

Their response was that they have staffing problems and that it would be likely that they could ship in another week.

It would have been simple for them to be honest at the time of the order and provide more accurate longer-term promise dates. But they chose not to be up front with customers. They take your payment and wait for you to come to them asking why the orders aren t being processed.

So now they have my money, can t commit to any ship date, and I, the customer, am stuck.

Would you want to be in this situation?

My advise;
Check elsewhere.

Great product at a low price and excellent customer service by sales rep William. After I got my stereo I realized that I was going to need an antenna adapter. I called customer service to inquire about the adapter and without any hesitation William told me that it should be included in the kit. He said he was going to mail me one immediately.
This is what I call great customer service !!!! Thank you.,.... I will continue doing business with Sonic Electronix and I will also tell my family and friends about this company.

5 Stars for Travis the CSR whom I dealt with. My order was back-ordered and Travis communicated this to me along with an offer to upgrade to the newer, in stock, model at no additional cost.
Too bad more companies don't have that level of CSR working for them.
I will do a review of the ordered unit after it arrives and I get a chance to install and use it.

Radio was defective, ended up spending and extra $...

Radio was defective, ended up spending and extra $100 to have it removed and sent back, they won't refund me for it, they will only send a replacement. I had to pay shipping to send back the defective radio as well as the replacement and I have to pay to have it installed. Carefully purchasing a car radio that was within my budget is now costing me roughly $200 more than I originally planned on paying. Rude.

Update: They changed their mind (randomly) and said that they could only give me store credit instead of a replacement, then managed to wiggle out of giving me store credit saying I had forgotten to send back two small pieces of equipment that came with the radio, so until I send these things they will not give me any store credit. I am 100% sure those two items were in the box. Don't shop here. I've never been more frustrated with a company before. Its completely unbelievable. I wish you could give less than one star.

I have contacted the sales manager directly as he requested. That was last week and still no word from them, So definitely take their responses to bad reviews with a grain of salt. They are obviously doing it for surface appearances for the review readers, not to actually resolve anything as you can see from my invoice picture since they refuse to release my item again.

I have done 80% of all my car audio business through them for over a decade. We are talking ten's of thousands of dollars of equipment for me and my customers. NOT ANYMORE! the last year i have been short changed, charged extra for return shipping, missing items, you name it they have screwed me over. Once the premier audio company in the US is now a 2nd rate cut throat team of inconsiderate jerks. I have moved all my shop's purchases to another company. I can't tolerate their disrespectful and ungrateful way of business anymore.

I had a Pioneer DMH-1500NEX stereo and a Axxess ASWC-1 - Steering Wheel Control Adapter in my cart but did not purchase because I wasn t sure what brackets I needed and if was compatible with my backup camera. Then (Travis) e-mailed me and offered me some help assured me it will work and even got me some extra things for a lower cost than I would ve been paying for the stereo and adapter alone!! The best thing i did before placing my order was to call and get recommendations. I spoke to Travis, who was professional and helpful. I was going to buy a pair of subwoofers that wouldn't have fit my Mazda 6. He pointed me to a pair of midrange drivers, which will provide the bass i want for a better richer sound. I haven't received the speakers yet, but im anxious to hsve them installed and enjoy rich sound that my stock system just doesn't give me. He also got me better prices than i would've gotten if i had ordered without calling. This is my third purchase from Sonic, and i always come back for the great service and prices. Two thumbs up.

Sonic Eletronix always has a great selection and great deals for car audio products. I wanted to get a punch P1000X5 AMP that was on sale but They were out of stock and it was on back order. My salesperson, Travis, was able to process my order and ensure I could get it on the sale before The sale was over. By helping be processed the order and pay for my order it ensures I have an amp reserved as soon as I get them in stock.

This review pertains more to the individuals who provided me with the most professional and best custom service Ive received in quite awhile. They are Travis N. and Roy. With my first order Roy took the time to answer all the questions I had regarding the purchase of a amp for my motorcycle. He compared spec on different brands and advised me on the best option within my price range. Which was the NVX 1000.4 unfortunately it was just a little too big for the location I wanted to but it. He walked me thru the no haggle return process and emailed the return shipping labels.
This lead to a follow up call from me to see if the NVX made it back to the warehouse where I was connected to Travis. Travis was able to see the notes that Roy took and processed exchange amp and warranty for the Cerwin Vega B54. Hopefully It'll arrive this week so I'll give a review of the actual equipment.
Sorry for being long winded but getting GREAT custom service isn't very common these days, hopefully the CV will work just as hard as these two gentlemen.
