Sonic Electronix, Inc. Review

I ordered 4 new speakers and a new stereo for my '97 Subaru Legacy which by the websites standard said it would fit my car. however the speakers I tried to put in were too bulky in the back and stuck out of my car door and I couldn't put them in. I had to pay a professional $250 to install them. The reason I or anyone buys items from here is to save money on installation right? as for the stereo. I NEVER EVEN GOT ONE. It's been at least 2 months and have not received the stereo I ordered. I tried calling sonicelectronix to just get my money back during business hours and was on hold for probably 20 minutes before an automated voice told me the phone lines were full and to try calling back another time and then hung up on me. So i emailed and someone responded to my second email attempt and told me to wait 3-5 business days to see the money come back in my account. It's been two months and I haven't seen any money come and I've written two more emails and no response. Least to say im EXTREMELY fed up with this company and have since bought a stereo I needed and installed with ease to my car. I do not recommend sonicelectronix to ANYONE. I'm hoping maybe someone from the company will see this review and correct the errors they have made on their part.

They do not answer my emails waited two months for my order and now are taking weeks to refund the items they couldn't forfill. They must need help.

To be honest the service I receives from here is beyond what I'd receive locally. Travis, wow I can't find words on how great of a job he does. He helps out in any way he can and gets you the best deal that he can get you. When you reaches him on the phone he's not in a rush to get you off the phone until you are sure you getting what you want or will need to complete your order. Any purchase I need i call him up and only will deal with him. Great service Travis keep up the good work and positive attitude you always have whenever I call in to buy something

Hours on the phone....products never shipped....money taken out of my account day one......hopefully I get my money back....canceled after 11 days when they told me they had all the products but didn t know when they would ship. All around really bad experience!!

Sonic has always been great, and has the greatest selection of audio. I have been going through them for the past 10 years, and plan on going through them and recommending them for many more.

Do not order from Canada. I did not receive the product I ordered. The return process is all online and takes days to process. Trying to get a human on the phone is a very long process. Then if you have to send items back from Canada you have to pay the shipping. You are better off paying an extra $50 to buy local, deal with a person and not have all the hassle.

Sonic Electronix has been a go to destination of mine for years. I'll cross-shop with crutchfield, and often find better deals on Sonic which is a no brainer. This is because Sonic has quick shipping, expansive (probably the best) inventory, and customer support comparable to the big C (high praise). Sonic is a reputable company that I would not hesitate to do business with. Shout out to Travis.

Ordered last week, wont answer phone or emails buy elsewhere

I don't know What's happened with this company over the years. They used to answer promptly and ship their products quick. For the past week when calling I keep getting an automated message telling me to call later and from the six times I've requested a call back I've only gotten a callback once. The reps give out false hopes and information over their warranties and to make things worse I STILL gave them a chance and purchased a stereo, which I haven't gotten any type of tracking number since ordering it over a week ago. What the heck happened Sonic electronix?!

I just ordered some JL Audio and Focal components and dealt with Travis. He was extremely helpful and was able to get me discounts on products that I couldn t find anywhere else online. I would definitely recommend dealing with him specifically. Great knowledge of the products and easy to deal with.

Ordered set of Rockford Fosgate Tweeters listed like brand new but arrived in used conditions boxes with seals broken, items presents dents, scratches and more damage, contacted for return and never email me back the baddest experience I highly recommend buy from crutchfield thousand times better than this horrible company Never go back....

I bought the Boss 200 watt amp for my boat and I use it to drive my 8" bazooka tube, in mono. The tube is rated at 150 amps, it's a perfect combination and for under $35, it's tough to beat. Excellent bang for the buck.

The staff here are very knowledgeable and friendly. They always make sure that you're taken care of. They see everything through from start to finish. Definitely recommend getting audio equipment from this company. Since the pandemic began they have even started produced PPE!

I always order most of my stuff thru SE versus Crutchfield. Ive spoken to CS reps in the past from Crutchfield and they always seemed to have attitudes, didnt want to answer too many of my installation questions unless it dealt with purchases made from their site. Maybe if they were easier to speak to, i would of made a purchase with them. Anyways, I had the pleasure of speaking with customer service rep Travis from Sonic. Very knowledgeable and easy to speak to over the phone and was able to answer any questions about installation i had and selecting the correct components for my setup.

Shopped around a lot this past 30 days for a RF Amp and been waiting for the Father's Day sales to begin. I purchased the R2-500x1 for my subs. The Beginning price is the same almost everywhere I will say but choice was made when it came to the application of the coupons. Wikibuy and Honey. Best Part. They are pretty much local to me (45 minute Drive)

Dealt with Travis, SE Support, over a 3 month span on speaker selection for motorcycle saddlebag lids. Travis suggested speakers, provided sizes, etc. to help with issues faced with custom saddlebag lids. I would recommend SE to anyone searching for mobile audio!

It's Christmas, who can wait to see if I am who I am . I gave my

I had originally ordered a Kenwood DMX907S Multimedia Receiver along with the necessary installation products. Though the item did come on time and I was given a fair price on the product I've had a few issues with the company itself.

First I was short shipped a wire that is crucial to make the unit work, when I contacted the company they politely informed me that I was at fault for them short shipping the item and I would not receive a replacement. Additionally I was shipped another set of cables with my order that are not meant for my vehicle, causing me to contact the company again to hear that there's nothing they can do about it.

I originally thought this company had amazing service when they were trying to take my order, but afterwards they take your money they couldn't careless about the quality or costumer support.

BIG SCAM! STAY AWAY!

I Have Ordered Many times from sonic I have always had excellent customer service. I have also had problems with items being damaged in shipping they took carr of it. I had an issue with a amplifier that took awhile too ship they took care of that as well. Nothing but good things to say about these guys.

Horrible! basically NO customer service! Their call us if your order is still "processing" number is NOT EVEN in service! They never pickup the main number. Left voicemail, no call back. Placed an order on the 5th my money was taken on the 5th but they say I ordered on the 6th? Cant get anyone to tell me the status and now have to wait even longer because they are closed over the weekend. Stay Away!

First time buyer with sonic electronix I was kind of scared to order from these guys because of all of the bad reviews I seen left in the review section, when I called it took a few minutes for a customer service agent to pick up but when the phone was answered it was by a friendly customer service agent named Chance. He helped me search for the items I wanted to buy then he transferred me to a salesman by the name of Travis. Travis was very friendly and energetic and he got me a very good deal on all of my product I purchased. I recommend this company to everyone! Don't listen to the card reviews, you'll miss out on great service and wonderful deals.

I have gotten my money back from my dispute form, I still won't buy from them again after this but I apriciate them being responsible in this way.

It's been about a month since they messed up my order and sent me the install kit without the stereo I ordered in a bubble envelope that wouldn't even fit a double din stereo. They have also blocked my emails and I can't even send them an email anymore to find out what's going on. Still no word, I've disputed the charge with my bank and I better get my money back. I don't know what's going on with them but from reading some other recent reviews it's gone downhill recently, sad because it used to be a great company.

I ordered a subwoofer a week ago and haven t gotten a tracking order or anything I got the order number and it says that it will send a tracking number but I haven t gotten anything and I tried to call and it says the number is out of service

I was helped by a very nice man named Travis. He was helpful and covered any questions I had about my return and purchase. It did take a long time on hold before I was able to speak with anyone.
