Cory was AMAZING! He needed to trasnfer me to someone to help me get my exchange done but he recognized I had to wait on hold for a while so he just helped me with it himself rather than having me wait on hold or having me call back later. I really appreciate all his help with my purchase!! If you call and get Cory, consider yourself lucky!!

Ordered a remote car starter from them. Had it installed and it would not work. The manufacturer remoted into my vehicle at the dealership from Canada and said it was an old outdated unit that would not even work with my vehicle. He said to contact Sonic and get a new one. I had asked all the right questions when the order was placed. Tried to return it and they gave me the run around. Put on hold, disconnected time after time. Could not get an RA# to return. The process dragged on so long that the credit card company only gives 60 days to dispute and that time was past due after getting all the run around. So I am out close to $200 and have a useless unit. Do not buy from this company. They know how to work the system

First off they didn't send the wiring harness and mounting plate that was supposed to ship with my head unit. I contacted them and they sent it, but when I received it, it was the wrong harness and plate. At that point I gave up and went to a local auto parts store and purchased the correct harness and modifies the mounting plate. I'm giving two stars instead of one because of fast shipping and fair prices.

I've purchased many products at sonic but their cu...

I've purchased many products at sonic but their customer service makes me never want to purchase again. They are a cut price shop and have deals but don't expect anything back if they screw up your order, arrives damaged or does not work. Their customer service sadly is not comprehensive, many emails and phone calls go no where. In the past I've dealt with them because of their cheap prices, but I will pay a few more dollars and go somewhere else for now.

Ordered speakers that didn't work on arrival - 1. instead of owning it, 1st say I probably had them installed wrong, 2. I probably damaged package opening it, 3. Needed to send them a photo of the damaged package, 4. Its on the manufacturer and go through their warranty. .... fine, cheap/sale speakers ill take it as a loss....

Latest issue was I ordered 2 different items, got an email saying my action was needed because 1 item was back ordered / so I would have to wait and pay additional shipping OR cancel that product from my order... I emailed back to cancel the back ordered item and send other item I paid for. 3 weeks later I contact them about my order to find they cancelled my order completely, the UPS package notifications says it got to my city but they requested it be sent back. I contact customer service via email 4 times explaining the situation and they do not comprehend what is going on, keep repeating 'you cancelled your order' even tho I sent them email transcripts clearly stating I just wanted the back ordered item removed but still wanted other item - it ends with no response to my last two emails, no offer to replace my order or any sort of responsibility for this issue. I call into their customer support and get the same reps who were emailing and refuse to transfer me to a manager. Just own the mistake and resend and recharge me- I've spent over $2k at this place in last 2 years and they wont get another dime after this last encounter with customer service.

It started with your pricing - very competitive but quickly turned to service when I asked a question on your website on a Sunday evening around 11:00 pm. Much to my surprise I heard back immediately from Ben who quickly answered my question. Support staff on call at 11:00 pm on a Sunday? Unheard of! My items shipped on Monday and were at the house Wednesday afternoon. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Long time customer even after orders didst arrive by promised dates, wrong items were sent and damaged items. Finally had enough when my order arrived damaged from poor packaging. Sonic would not do anything to remedy the situation in a expedited manor seeing as it was their fault. Customer service rep was rude on the phone, claims department has no direct answers and the process is too lengthy. Will never do business with them again. Their prices can usually be beat and they NEVER have honored their price match even when it met the criteria they outline.

I ordered a defective JL audio DSP , unit would not power despite JL audio technicians trouble shooting methods. after multiple, complicated , lengthy and challenging attempts to return the product to sonic electronix as the, jl audio staff recommended, i found success, so i thought. upon the receipt of my product sonic electronix stated that my unit was not defective that it was a user install error. they stated they will get back to me. 18 days later they contact me stating that they cannot meet their return policy because the unit is not defective and that they will send back my returned unit only after i pay them a never before mentioned 40$ fee for shipping and inspecting. in other words if i dont pay them 40$ for inspecting my defective unit they stay with my product and I am out $331. Why would anyone pay additionally to receive a defective product when you refuse to fulfill the basic responsibilities of a official authorized seller. In my 10 years of car audio experience, never have i experienced such belligerent unprofessionalism. if you find yourself reading this, please avoid a potential disaster, hopefully my bank will be able to help.

I am in the middle of dealing with a customer service nightmare. My order never shipped out and I have had to fill out an Affidavit in order to start the process of getting my order. This makes no sense, the company never shipped my order, they only created a label, yet I must wait 10-14 days for their investigation. I have called twice and each time I had to wait over 2 hours to speak with someone. I ordered on November 26th, it is currently December 8th. The only good thing was the guy in customer service was really nice, but the company it self-has dropped the ball.

After having a not so good experience with another...

After having a not so good experience with another electronic car radio distributor - I had already ordered a part from these guys and it came like 10 days earlier. That being said I called in and figured I would order a Maestro box from these guys and Travis answered the phone. He was super professional and very courteous. He NOT only got me a great deal but he said he could get me the part by Wednesday which was two days. Never mind that promise - I actually got the part today (one day shipping) and finished the installation of a Kenwood Car Play system for my wife who was SUPER HAPPY!. Thanks Sonic Electronix, You guys RULE. These guys are top notch and the delivery is second to none!

I tried their price match program. If you don't want to match prices-don't offer it. As a result of your miserable customer service I ordered the Kenwood car stereo with four speakers and installation kit for 169 $ shipped. The lowest price you could offer was 229 $. so why do you offer a price match and low price guarantee, if you have no intention on matching prices? Hey-I ordered the cable for 5 bucks from you. I know where I will NOT send friends and family for their car audio product-and it will never be your company.

But they have yet to send it. All they do it place another order on my account saying "pending payment" but its an exchange. Im not paying for an exchange. I understand that there short from covid. But dont lie to your customers. Its bad for business.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced...EVER!! I DO NO RECOMMEND BUYING FROM HERE!! It's better to just buy through amazon or any other site that knows how to do business online. I purchased a product online for $69. Paid with my debit card. I received a voicemail 1 day after saying that they needed me to call in to verify my order because my billing address was different than my shipping. That's understandable. So I called...and called and for 2 days couldn't get through to anyone! I went on their facebook page and sent a message....no reply. How can they ask a customer to call in but don't have the staff to answer the phone??! The next day, a guy calls me and says he needs to verify some info from me. Asks me for my date of birth ( which is seeming sort of odd at this point ) then asks me for the last 4 digits of my social security. By this time, I am starting to think they maybe scamming me to get my personal info and that the website isn't legit. So the guy tells me that his system wasn't working but not to worry he would take care of the order for me. Then I get an email that says the payment didn't go through on my card and they requested it be sent via paypal. Fine...I sent it through paypal. I emailed them asking them to send the tracking info as soon as they had it. Tonight I received another email...saying I need to call into to verify the address again for the order to go through! This is ridiculous. I have never ever had to jump through this many hoops to buy something for $69. It's better to just buy it on Amazon or any other major site that knows how to do business online.

I ordered 3 shakes from the sonic in sevierville tn and I had simply asked that they clean their milkshake machine for one of my shakes as I have a peanut allergy and as I pull to the window this VERY rude woman was cussing and yelling about cleaning the machine and I just brushed it off but then they forgot to add a peanut butter milkshake (as I was purchasing for someone else) she very very rudely said verbatim for the person with a peanut allergy she just complained about hell no and the very sweet guy who took my order just came to the window and stated they were out and he was sorry. If this is the way you run your business I will gladly never spend my money at another sonic in my life. But this lady deserves to either be fired or taught how to properly deal with customers. That s ridiculous in my opinion I go there literally almost every night but I will not come back as long as this lady is being disrespectful and rude and costing you business.

Purchased a Sony Digital Media Center car stereo, and it arrived without the mounting sleeve. (must have this to install) After holding for CS for half an hour, the representative looked up my order, the part #, which took another 20 minutes & being put on hold 4 more times. Their resolution was for me to call Sony and deal with them. That is a major pet peeve of mine. I did not buy it from Sony, I bought it from Sonic. as an authorized Sony dealer, if they don't have a replacement in stock, they should contact Sony & arrange to have the part sent to me. After a 45 minute phone call to Sony, they said the will send one out ASAP. I'm glad me existing car stereo is still working while I wait.

The JL 10Tw3 D4 they were on sale and with a nice promo code, when I went to order they were out of stock. Travis took the time to send me an email to inform me they were available and when I mentioned the prime code wasn t there he promptly got back to me. He made it available, he took care of everything. It s nice to see there is actually a person on the other side and who helps you and makes you happy with the purchase. I bought 2 of the subs Travis made it happen, You should have more people like Travis working for you

I'm not sure on the products just yet, due to receiving the wrong ones! I called and talked to 3 different guys. The first was actually pretty reasonable, and nice... unfortunately I wasn't as nice to him. The second guy (I was nice) wasn't as nice to me. the 3rd guy and I didn't get along at all! He says he was the highest one in the office at that time, but he was unable to satisfy my request of shipping me the correct items I ordered until they received the wrong ones back! I could understand this except they have my credit card info and am sure I've already paid for both anyway. Maybe they'll ship me the correct ones this time and I might use the $15 credit he supposedly gave me.

I ordered this item on 3/1/2017 and it was gaurenteed to arrive 3/8/2017.
It's currently 3/28/2017, and they have not even shipped the item.
Customer service DOES NOT ANSWER PHONE CALLS.
My emails have either been neglected or returned with generic replies with no insight of my product.
Worst customer service I've EVER "tried" dealing with.
I JUST HOPE THERE IS ONE PERSON LEFT WITHIN THE COMPANY THAT CARES ABOUT THEIR JOB AND THE CUSTOMERS, and hopefully they will see this and contact me.

I ordered an amp, head unit, and a pair of 5 1/4 inch door speakers for my truck. The amp and head unit work great and shipping was fast. The speakers do not fit my truck when sonics fitment said they did. These speakers actually measure at 5". I had to fill out a request for return and havent heard anything else. Their customer service is bad. Im taking it as a loss and will not be a returning customer.

*PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW IF YOU ARE LOOKING AT PURCHASING SOMETHING FROM SONIC ELECTRONIX* Probably the worst experience I've had with an online retailer...I tried cancelling my orders from them minutes after clicking purchase, got verification emails saying "yes we have cancelled these" but they still sent them. They sent 1 of my 2 cancelled orders and tried to make me pay for the shipping fee back ($40+). Then as I argued again with 'Eric Boiling' over their online chat I spammed them not to send the other package either. I get a confirmation from him also that it will not send but low and behold 1 day later I get a notification that it has sent. I then continued to argue with them over their support requests how I should not be the one paying for the shipping back because these packages were sent 5 days after my cancelled request and they should have recognized it sooner. It eventually took a phonecall waiting 30 minites on hold to tell the guy to send me a free shipping label and he explained to me that the packages sometimes are sent out "too fast" after they are received online. I then explained to him that his statement was false and that I placed the orders a week prior to then shipping out he was then star struck and said in a low tones voice "oh yes we were in the wrong I will send the RA now" and hung up. THIS WAS THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I'VE HAD IN ALL MY LIFE PLEASE DONT GIVE THESE GUYS BUISNESS AND BUY FROM A MORE RELIABLE SITE (Crutchfield, Amazon etc.)

I ordered two subs, an amp, and a "free" wiring kit. After check out the prices of the amp and wiring kit were re-balanced in a manner that no longer qualified my purchase for a rebate. I spoke to a CS agent (after a 20 minute hold) the next day who advised he could not help. I then asked him to cancel my order. Didn't see any sort of confirmation so I emailed their customer service group again asking if it were cancelled. A week after this order was placed I called in again (two 20 minutes holds this time - you get cut off after the first 20 and need to call in again) to confirm a different order and asked if the original order had been cancelled successfully. The CS rep advised he would send the first order to their accounting team. Guess what just shipped tonight? The original, not cancelled, order. Top to bottom a horrible experience. Stay away from this company.

EDIT: June 9th. I've been told that I will not be receiving a full refund on my order since the packaging they used couldn't hold up on the return shipment. Also, where was the personal contact that you claimed would be coming?

The whole customer service team, were great from beginning and thru the whole purchasing process My order was delayed a while, due to alot of equipment needed for my car stereo installation needs. Travis was a great help through all of this delay. Answering all my emails, quickly and explaining what the cause of the delay was. He offered other solutions for me. In the end, my original radio choice was also out of stock. All accessories needed for my installation were there. Travis knowing that I waited for a while, offered me and upgraded stereo installation it's place, for the same price. Again very nice working with Travis, through the whole process. Very professional. Thank you very much!

Found the quality of products to be excellent, Top of the Line products available to, the prices were competitive and would fit almost every persons price range.
My package was excellent for what I wanted. My new radio/CD/SiriusXM is Great, now when traveling I wont have to scan for a local channel to supply my music needs, with every new town that I pass through.Sonic Electronix has everything you need for your install or upgrade. If you go somewhere else without trying SE first, you might just be sorry for what you missed out on.

Order Kenwood sub hooked it up turned on stereo coil started smokin tryed returning they said install error not possible after it burned I bought Memphis audio br12 s4 hooked to same system same way been working fine for days so no refund I lose 60 dollars even though it says 30 day returns lesson learned don't use Sonic electronic ever anyone.

Terrible customer service, no communication about being shut down. After finally getting someone on the phone after 4 hours of being on hold being promised that the product I ordered would be here on the 20th I got an email the night before saying that it was out of stock, all after ordering my product over a month ago. 1 star in my book. Dont waste your time.

I purchased Sonic Electronix NVX VAD10001 amplifier along with a 4 gauge amp installation kit. About an hour later I get an email from the sales team over at Sonic Electronix. Travis from the sales team offered me a coupon on my purchase. I was completely shocked since I had already made the purchase online. But Travis refunded me the money immediately and sent me a new order with about %10 in savings on top of the coupon I used during the first order. Saved me about $50 on a $275 purchase. I was shocked that a company would do that, especially after a purchase. It s great to see that there is still a company that values and serves there customers. Will be buying from Sonic again. I ordered a Pioneer audio system from Sonic and when it arrived, realized I forgot to order the accessories for the unit and thus did not get the "package pricing". I called a fine gentleman named "Travis" who quickly understood my disposition and honest mistake. He confirmed my additional accessory order and charged me the "package pricing" rate. Both orders arrived within two days. Great company to work with.
