I called Sonic which I have used for years and have never had a problem with most of my orders but when I did once on a car stereo they quickly allowed my return and I purchased a different stereo it was painless!! This time I talked to Dustin and he helped me with a rather large discount for my Mustang GT, I originally was going to get just a dual 12 inch subwoofer and amp but with the discount I went full bore. I as well worked with Nick who is a manager and he assisted me on ordering and leading me through the covid mess which affects shipping, not their fault. So I got dual 12 inch subwoofers a 750 watt amp and then upgraded all four stock speakers and got their 450 watt mini amp for the speakers and i was smart and got both wire kits, they are much cheaper here than where you get your stereo installed and great quality. My system rocks thumps my chest for under a $1000 bucks, very happy!!! It is nice to see a company treat you very well and nice to see management get involved if problems do arise in shipping again not their fault, would recommend to to first time buyers as well as upgraded buyers they have gear for almost and car stereo you may want at all levels and costs! Their mini high power amps have a small heat signature so can be placed under the dash with is more theft proof.

Simple and easy shopping experience. If you keep a look out for coupons and deals, chances are, that "something" you have been wanting to buy, might just be available for a cheaper price. After I placed the order, there was something that needed to be fixed, so I called up the Customer Support and they were very helpful.

I purchased something from this company that has since failed. They state that they offer a year warranty; however, I have emailed them two different times with no response and when I tried to call I was left on hold. The automatic answering service said I was caller 20 in their queue and I opted for the automatic call back feature and provided my call back number. After several hours, I still have not received a call back from this company in regard to my warranty claim / return. This is not good customer service. Hoping for a response quickly please.
Would give zero stars if possible. Bought product through Amazon. Did not need the item. Returned it according to their policy and procedures. They received the product on 8/4/20, verified by UPS and as of 8/17/20 I still do not have my refund. Will be forced to file a claim with my CC company. Very shady, do not do business with these people. Terrible customer service.
very unsatisfied i ordered a drop down tv on friday and thought it ship friday.its now tuesday and i get a alert saying sign document before we ship your order.why dont you send a email or atach a link saying we need your id and credit card for shipping.i was suppose to travel today and now i have to wait cause my order wont be here today tuesday like i was promised.i been doing audio for 18 years and never bought from a retailer.my first time doing business and already poblems.wont be doing business with sonix electronics.
Price was great !, service and follow up left a bit to be desired. Parts were ordered and then not available. Back order with no definite date for delivery. Once a compatible stereo harness was identified they did work with me to expedite the part but at an increased rate for the shipping. I have ordered from Sonic in the past and had a very positive experience. I will most likely purchase from Sonic again but with reduced expectations from the service department. I hope this was an isolated issue.
If I could I d give them 10 stars but it only goes to 5 so just know they re top notch. I love sonic electronix! They are literally the best place to buy car audio equipment! I ve probably spent close to $1500 with them just for equipment for one car and there customer service is amazing even with what s going on with covid-19. I had to call the other day and I talked to Kaci and she was amazing! She was able to help me with every question I had and she was just nice and pleasant to talk to. Sonic Electronix is the best! Kris baby hooked me up really good with some Rockford Fosgate speakers, box, etc. I am very happy with my added setup for the Prius. He spent time to look at the car and gave me his recommendation. The subwoofer cabinet he recommended for this Rockford 10" dual voice coil speaker pounds hard and with quality. What a perfect match! The customer service I got is priceless for I know I will have this setup for a long time. If you need audio don't think twice and go Sonic Electronix. Dear reader, I am rarely dazzled but this time I am. I went to YouTube about car stereos. I know nothing except scanning endless reviews. The YouTube for Sonic was great. I shopped their web and had what I thought might be the configuration. The store texted me the next day, had reviewed my basket , doubled check my car model and returned with the order ready to go. PayPal ed the order. 1 one later it s shipped . I am really impressed. Best. W
After speaking with them over a week they sold me on a NVX 12 inch subwoofer that was better than I could imaging. It took the stock stereo from sounding good to great. Just like adding a home stereo system to your stock TV speakers. Highly recommend.

Sent wrong harness, and mount piece still on back order. Had to make quick run to Best Buy to get the right install components so it would be ready for my wife's birthday. However, Anthony @ Sonic Electronix was quick to resolve issue and very polite in finding a solution. It was made very clear to me that they cared what I had to say and I am overall happy with the experience!
I made my order on March 23rd for some 6x8 speakers. Now the 31st and it still says my order is processing. The reps on the phone have said now twice this my order will ship that day. 48 hours later it still hasn't shipped. 6 phone calls today (31st) and not 1 returned call. And 2 emails. Now 1 returned. I will never buy from them again.
Edit: after speaking with Larson the Supervisor my issue I had was resolved and cleared up and I am once again a happy sonic Electronix customer.
The absolute WORST company I have ever had to deal with. I ordered a JL audio TW3 subwoofer from these guys and requested to return the item UNOPENED a few days after recieving it. The whole process of returning took about 3 to 4 weeks. I had to send multiple emails and spend hours on the phone trying to talk to a representative. After finally shipping my UNOPENED item back they hit me with a 25% restocking fee because the item was not in "like new" condition. How is this even possible when the item has a factory seal and the box was NEVER OPENED. these guys are compete SCAM ARTISTS. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!

My experience with Sonic Electronix was excellent. I received email notifications when my order was placed, shipped, and delivered. Order placed on Monday and received on Thursday. Their prices are the lowest. And, you can t beat the free shipping. The products that I ordered were in factory sealed packaging and work perfectly. I will absolutely use them again for my next electronics purchase.

I called Sonic yesterday and had the pleasure of speaking to Travis who was amazing. Travis looked at my previous order and found a new item that worked with my system to replace an item that had been on back order for a few months. Would definitely use Sonic Electronix again in the future.
Since my boyfriend doesn't work there anymore. I never seen a more disorganized management before. They shorted his check too many times. Somebody needs to investigate their HR department because they do it to EVERYONE. Make sure you keep track of your hours because they will mess up your check. Sometimes you wont even get a check. I remember majority of the workers didn't receive any type of pay for maybe a week or two after payday. My boyfriend told me stories about how awful the leads are and how hypercritical they can be. You never know when your gonna get out. They will say everyone will leave at 2PM but really that means 5 or 6PM.
While they may have a lot of products and info online, please don't use their "vehicle fit guide". It will recommend the wrong sizes. I ordered some speakers for my BMW that it recommended, and when the speakers arrived, they were the wrong size, so I returned them. Lo and behold...they CHARGE you to print a return label. So I paid the $10 fee to print the return shipment label and return the wrong size speakers. 1 week later when they credited my account, I went back to their website and spent a solid 20 minutes, being careful and ensuring that what the vehicle guide recommended this time would fit in my BMW. The 2nd set of speakers that arrived are too large! So now here I am, having gone through this exercise once before...I call them up, and the guy on the phone recommended yet another size speaker set. At this rate, it will be another month before I get the right size speakers. NOT WORTH THE TROUBLE. Forget about these guys and do it locally.
I just purchased a new Jayco Seneca RV and it has a Soundstream AV Center. When trying to use Sirius radio I got a message that said I needed a tuner. I searched all over the internet and YouTube trying to find an RV tuner but to no avail. After many frustrating hours of searching I called Sonic Electronix, Inc and was connected to Travis N. I used to think this was the best website to order car audio parts from. Then one of my orders got messed up. I ordered a simple sub, amp, wiring. After 4 days of waiting for my shipment to be shipped. Not received, SHIPPED. I sent them and email and it took them 2 days to reply back. 6 days now past after ordering. Then the told me my order had shipped when really only the sub and amp shipped. Then 2 more days later, 8 days now they told me the amp was no longer available. What a joke. So it took 9 days for me to get an order that should have only took two and i didn't even get an amp. They didn't even offer anything in return for delaying my order. Will never buy or recommend this company again.

I originally ordered from Amazon which was an order to be fulfilled by Sonic Electronix. Amazon cancelled the order for a strange reason that it was out of stock. But it wasn't. I got on the phone and was quickly sorted out. I decided to just order over the phone at 10am on Friday.
Package received mid day Saturday and installed, tested and loving it so far.
I ordered the cerwin vega spare tire sub woofer. Didn't love how long the bolt was to mount it so I had to cut it down, but after installing I'm thoroughly impressed. Clean bass, no rattle. Love it.

The worst customer service I ve ever dealt with. Won t return emails, facebook messages, or phone calls. If you do manage to get in contact with them they will talk to you like you re trash and do everything to keep your money. Will not refund money and will only give store credit which you can t use without filing a PayPal claim against them after they charge full price.

I love shopping on Sonic Electronix for my car stereo needs. They have good prices and fast shipping and I've never had a problem with them. They carry a lot of different equipment and have lots of details and reviews about all of the stuff they carry which makes them truly a one stop shop for all of your car audio needs. I also like that they have pretty good sales from time to time too!
BUYER BEWARE!! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I ordered a stereo for my car and paid for 2 day delivery and was promised to have it on time. 10 days later it hadn't shipped and I was forced to cancel the order and buy it elsewhere. Then a week later the stereo showed up and I called to have them pick it back up, since I had cancelled the order with them. They made me pay to have it shipped back and refused to send a call tag. So, I paid and shipped it back to them. That was 3 months ago that they received it back and I am yet to receive my money back. I have called and talked to them a dozen times, only to hear that they are "sorry it is taking so long" and that they are "processing it that day" for me and I will see the credit back to my card within a few days. NOPE, never happens. I have been forced to dispute the charges with my credit card company and have had to spend more of my time filling out paperwork and providing all of the proof that they have the merchandise back and won't return the money. DO NOT USE THEM, They are the worst company out there!! I wish I had read all the other 1-star reviews before I gave them my business.
Travis was really helpful and gets back to me quickly when I had a few questions about my purchase. Processing took really long, almost two weeks without changing. I understand the lockdown slows things a little but it was too long. Anyhow, with less work hours I think it s better to wait until this ends and buy it then when I have money saved again. Because other retailers don t have the brand I want to get.

Be careful when ordering from here. I've been ordering electronics from Sonic for years now, but lately, the items I've been getting have been shipped with ZERO padding in the boxes. This last order did it for me and I'll never order anything from them again. I ordered two Kicker Amps and two wiring kits. You figure with electronics, you want some kind of padding in the shipping box as those boxes get thrown around during delivery... There was ZERO padding in the box. The Amp boxes were bashed up, and the wiring boxes were smashed. That was the last straw. Plus my RMA was pending approval for over a week. I had to call to get things moving. There's no point in getting great prices and free shipping when the items you order arrive damaged, not because of the shipping carrier, but because of the company you paid your hard-earned money to. I will only be buying from Crutchfield or brick and mortar stores from now on. So long Sonic Electronix!
Ordered a bunch of stuff for wiring up my new sound system and they paused my order for information verification. No problem until I called 3 times(each different days) with no answer and emailed with no answer. Finally got a response on the 4th call, which sets back the arrival of my stuff by about a week. Not pleased at all with the customer service and pretty disappointed at the huge delay. Go to Crutchfield instead :(
When I first had called Sonic Electronix over the weekend, I had a difficult time to get some assistance with a return. But a few days later I received a phone call from a manager who could not have been more compassionate and understanding of my situation. He went above and beyond to listen to my initial call, and we had a normal casual conversation about it. There was no reading from a script. He just worked with me to reach a solution that would work for everyone. We came to a resolution fairly quickly and I was able to do a return and a pre order. To do the pre order I had to wait from a call from Travis. It only took about 10 minutes and he was professional from the start. He explained the whole process very well, and I am happy I spoke to both of them to resolve my issues. The first phone call was unpleasant, but afterwards I received nothing but the best customer service. I will definitely be contacting Travis again for future purchases.

BAD BUSINESS. NEVER DO ANY BUSINESS WITH SONIC ELECTRONIX. They do not have customer service. Try calling their customer service center before you even consider of buying. They would not pick up the phone and put me on a transfer que 24/7. I was trying to return products which I wanted to cancel the order. I looked for canceling button but they never had it. I tried to call before they ship the items, they never received phone calls, no response on facebook webpage, no response on submitted help request, nor from emails. WHAT A CRAPPY BUSINESS IS THIS??? and Now im trying to return and they would never received my phone call to procede god damn return process. PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS ONLINE VENDOR.

Bunch of incompetent guys. After 2 weeks of waiting for my purchase. I finally called to check on it. The guy said they needed to verify my address 1st. So after some B.S. about them sending me and email about them needing it. He finally says they will be shipping it out soon. Now 1 week later. I get a call that the order was canceled. The guys doesn't know why but wants to know if they can save the purchase and calls me. Oh hell no....you'll get 10,000 emails from Sonic about buying more stereo stuff. Not 1 will about what you need to move forward with. And the guys are lairs about sending important emails to you.. good luck with this company....they don't care about customer service.....shouldn't take 2 weeks for the customer to verify his own address.
