We have been using SOE since 2009. The service is fantastic and their Support staff are really very informative and knowledgeable and are always ready to help. The wait time is very short too which is great when you need help urgently. Ryan has given us so much support and information in the past month which has allowed us to gain confidence to reopen our practice. He was very easy to talk to and explained over and over again without making me feel uneasy. The Reassurance that he will always be there to guide and help would be made available made me feel that I could run this success programme with ease going forward. Thank you Ryan and SOE for all the help and support. The Customer success Programme will be utilised to keep our patient informed about the changes we are making in the practice to keep them and our staff safe. The Programme will deliver them with the forms that they will fill at home at their own leisure which can be accessed directly by us which will give the Dentist the opportunity to communicate the treatment plans by giving the patients more time and options for treatments. The Reception staff will also benefit as we will be going more or less paperless. We are hoping to literally bounce back with confidence once all the protocols and PPE are in place. For the future I am hoping to use this platform for the practice to grow.

I cannot thank Josh Wren enough for his time today, what a lovely guy!
Despite my call being late on a Friday afternoon Josh was so helpful and informative, nothing was too much trouble. He answered all of my questions and explained various products and their benefits to me thoroughly. I now feel completely confident making my decision as to what would suit the current needs of my practice. Thank you so much Josh you are a credit to the company!

As a practice we changed from a well known dental software over to SOE- Exact! Since doing so in April 2016 we have seen the practice success go from strength to strength. The increased performance is measurable recorded and easy to view and track. As a Manager the tools provided are invaluable! The support is available at the end of the phone or click of a button, from the support team, help desk, trainers and the Customer Success Consultants who monitor, track and support through the tools readily available! I would highly recommend and we haven't looked back. Thank you SOE!

Integrating SOE into our practice is easily the best decision I have made as a new practice owner. We had great assistance with the conversion across from Kodak R4 and excellent support over the past few months since this happened. It has certainly been hard but SOE have made it as seamless as possible in my opinion and it has definitely been worth it.
The continued learning available means that you can make the most out of this system and our own dedicated Customer Success liaison is helping us supercharge our performance both clinically and financially.
I am a big believer in KPI's/performance figures and the level of detail SOE reports produce is world apart from our last system.
Absolutely no regrets!

Paulina was lovely today and good at explaining many additional software options available to help the practice and patients, to streamline getting back to work post covid-19, especially patients using the online portal.
Aaron, an experienced longstanding soe staff member (which appears to be the case, that SOE retain and develop their staff from working with them last 19yrs) is amazing at his job and understands the demands placed upon managers and from discussing and evaluating, precisely which relevant services SOE can provide for the individual practice, as there are so many, particularly newly introduced, it can be overwhelming.
Due to covid 19, we felt it's more essential than ever to install additional software that patients can access their forms and medical history at home prior to appt, spending less time social distancing at reception in the current climate, minus kids hanging on their leg! in comfort of their home, with list of medication often to hand and was talked through how we can make this happen, even if it can't be installed yesterday.
Both members of the team are a real credit to SOE and we look forward to putting our new software into practice with our lovely patients :)

We converted to SOE in August 2015. From conversion of data,to training to going live we were supported throughout and never once felt out on a limb.The support is excellent with the most patient over the phone support team I have spoken to. The system has transformed the way we run our practice and has made working life so much easier. Our patients love the reminder systems in place. As we look forward there are still so many capabilities we have not progressed to yet and I am confident to say the system will never be lacking in any major way.
Very glad we chose SOE!

Have been growing with SOE for all my surgeries. The software is essential for multi practice owners with the advanced reporting systems and ability to monitor KPIs. Software is very user friendly and especially good for multiple courses of mixed Nhs and private treatment courses.

I would certainly recommend Piers as your go to contact - he has been great in his implementation and on going support to provide great customer service and a seamless transition.

I can not thank SOE enough for the help and suppor...

I can not thank SOE enough for the help and support through the Covid 19 crisis. From helping create templates for our records to making it easier to access records from home, everyone at support/sales have been very cheerful and have dealt with my practice in a friendly and positive manner. Speaking to Aron today to help sort out the patient portal, which will allow my patients a more contact less appointment is very exciting, his understanding of my practice needs and the further support from SOE is second to none. If you aren't with SOE, why not? It's not just about writing notes...it's about an entire support package. Thank you

EXACT is dog slow, outdated software, which does not respect its users.
Ignore all positive reviews, they MUST be posted by employees.
The data conversion in our practice was a disaster. If you are considering moving to them, please, please, please get something in writing as to exactly what will be preserved before you pay up.

Forget the whistles and bells YOUR Patient's personal data is not secure.They have been told this and don't care. There is a Security Flaw that allows Patient's notes to be altered rendering them useless as Legal Documents in the event of a dispute between yourselves and a Patient.

Not only is the clinical interface user friendly and well made, the back of house system is incredibly comprehensive and is constantly evolving...as a manager it was as if I was working blind before SOE!

Extremely impressed with this aspect of your service. I was not expecting it but it is a massive positive for anyone considering using Exact. Firstly, the CSC programme has given us clear targets (UK averages and best practice) which are extremely useful to see where you are. We have then set targets (short and long term) to work on together to improve our practice. There are tangible results as the whole process is very data driven (which I like a lot). There has also been a big push towards us fully utilising all of the features that the software has (many of which are free/included). This programme is very much aimed at improving our business and it is excellent to see that SOE don't just dump this software on you and make you seek out the support - they show you all it can do in easily digestible monthly conversations. I have dealt with Robert, he is fully focused on customer satisfaction and getting the best for his customer. I have been very impressed with his extensive knowledge of SOE and how dental practices work.

I could not be happier with SOE, there software is by far the best dental software around in my opinion and i have worked in dentistry for over 18 years.We recently went paperless and Arron Taylor helped me out with everything i needed, unbelievably helpful and friendly. He also sorted out training for my team on the new update. Their product 5 starts, their service 5 stars, their support 5 stars, their staff 5 stars. The only dental software worth having :)

Very informative evening. Perhaps best if you already have SOE in your practice as you can learn how to maximise its potential. Which seems never ending. The programmers have thought of everything and more! Excellent clear concise delivery from the speaker and visual guidance on a large screen of how to operate the appointment book, reports, patients notes and MARKETING. The object of the evening. Only disappointed we didn't take the whole practice. Will next seminar. Can I recommend? You bet.

Best Dental Software ever! Great support throughout from before you place the order to completion and migration if needed. They also support the business for the first year , which has been great! All the support consultants I have ever spoken with have been extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. I wholeheartedly and unreservedly recommend SOE. There is never a problem big or small they wont deal with.

As dental systems go it's pretty decent, and the recall and reminder systems are excellent. There are kinks within any system, and SoE is no different. That aside though, I'd say that the real plus of SoE is the support team, who I've always found to be incredible helpful and good to deal with. The recalls team and the online booking support team have been great to deal with, especially Harry G who was great at setting up our templates and carrying out a online booking health check for us. Keep up the good work guys!

We had a remote phone call today at the Spicer Road Dental Practice with Paulina to discuss our business's needs going forward in this COVID area. She clearly explained to us new features in the software that will help us greatly as we return to seeing patient's after the COVID-19 lockdown. A really useful and helpful phone-call.
I should also mention that I also made a software support today and was helped by Raj, a slightly long wait on hold (however lots of dental practices are about to re-open and the helpline numbers were very busy!) but my problem was sorted out very quickly. Great work.

SOE have been particularly helpful to me in the last six months. I was introduced to Arron Taylor, a best practice consultant who has helped no end with my incessant enquiries. Even if he doesn't have the answer himself, he will always take the time to find out for me or point me in the direction of a colleague who can help. The software itself is amazing, having a BPC allows you to unlock the full potential of the software and find out the ways it can help your practice. Would fully recommend SOE for dental practice software.

iI would like to not only thank Shawn Smith, but also to congratulate him on the amazing customer service he provided to us last Thursday, he really did go above and beyond.

We had upgraded our software to version 12.2 overnight, and none of the computers over three practices were working. With unlimited patience he logged in remotely to all the workstations, and one by one got them working fine.

It must have taken him around 5 hours to get all of them working, and at no point did he show boredom or frustration with how long it was taking.

He is a true ambassador for SOE.

Software of Excellence is a fantastic company but have recently encouraged us to sign up with a payment company to handle our card payments called Payment Sense. DO NOT DO THIS. BE AWARE THEY ARE AN AWFUL COMPANY TO DEAL WITH AND GO ONTO TRUST PILOT TO SEE HOW TERRIBLE THE REVIEWS ARE. The new patient portal is very good but do not change your card machines over to Paymentsense UK as they will sign you up to a 4 yr agreement and also sign you to other companies that you know nothing about until you have signed the contract and then cannot get out of without having to pay a huge sum of money to end the contract. There is also no 14 day cool down period either!!
My question is why has SOE started to endorse this company??? Im waiting for that answer from SOE. This is why my review is so low.

Introduction of SOE has significantly increased efficiency of my practice team and patient's feedback is incredible: we got a 5 star rating on Google reviews and 5-10 new patients per week. FTAs went down, recall numbers went up. I am most grateful to Mr Piers Andrews, who has briliantly presented how the system works and also organised a hasslefree installation and training for the whole team. Phone support team is just excellent. Very happy SOE customer, can only recommend

I have been working with Yasmin at SOE to improve and grow the practice . Using MPC and all the features SOE has to offer is eye opening and helps massively in the day to day running. SOE are also great when you call for support nothing is too much trouble !

About 12 years ago we decided to change dental software from Advance Dental Software. We look at what was on the market. We looked at SOE and two others. We foolishly decided to go ahead with one of the others because their price was better and seemed to offer the same as SOE. Wow how mistaken were we?! We lasted 3 months with them. It was a disaster. We then changed to SOE and I can honestly say we are so happy with them! The system is very easy to use. We have our telephone system connected to the database so we can see who is calling us. We also have email set up within SOE and we send text message reminders to all our patients a few days before their appointment is due, this we found helps hugely with fail to attends (FTAs). The helpline is great. Always helpful and sort things out for us on the same day. Often whilst we are still on the phone to them. They have very knowledgable people working for them. Recalls are easy to manage. Statistics too. We are and have been very happy with SOE and highly recommend them to all our fellow dentists.

The new functions are really going to help us automate and streamline our systems which in turn will help patients book appointments with ease and with convenience. The business insight seminar I recently attended was interesting and helped us re-evaluate our business goals. We have used SOE pretty much since it's inception and found the system works well for us. We went through the Thrive process a couple of years ago and found that this was very useful for us and gave us a really good insight into many things we did not realize about the software. The support has got much better over the years too.

Stacie has been such an incredible support not only during lockdown but on our return to work. We are a heavy user of SOE so ensuring that we communicate with patients is paramount and she has guided us every step of the way.
