Nice .. but too far out of town .. and food massive but overpriced

Counter for Check in was slow, might be due to alot of guests are check out.
Room is good , clean and tidy.
Swimming pool is clean and well maintain.

A Haven for peace and tranquility, Sofitel Singapore Sentosa is the place to go for that perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Beautiful resort that has much to offer. Induge in serenity as one spends some quiet time by the pool side in the evening. Or hop onto the bar for a cosy, laid back time for live music and drinks. Love the place!

Excellent hospitality! Beautiful room and resort. Foodwise need to provide more options and bigger portion.

Beautiful and vast hotel with a splendid swimming pool

The service was good. I was celebrating my wife's birthday and it was delightful to see the cake, birthday card and balloons. However, the room 470 which we stayed in had ants crawling over the study table. We had to move our stuff away. This is the first time I encounter ants in a hotel room.

Good location, grounds and setting. Service could be improved and price not competitive compared to nearby southeast Asian destinations.

Room was ok. Stayed 3d2n during weekdays so the resort is not so crowded.
The overall experience is very poor. To summarise the bad service which we dont expect from a reputable 5star hotel.
-Check in procedure wasnt attentive as staff was using phone. Mentioned that we are celebrating our wedding anniversary, staff still asked if we are married.
-Went to the bar and ordered happy hour drinks for 2. Wasnt served ice water. Ask for ice water but only 1 glass came when we are a couple.
-2nd day room keycard didnt work, waited outside the room and staff didnt bother to apologise.
-checked out and staff didnt even offer to help with our cabin size luggage to the car.
All these may seem minor issues but it is the accumulation of such events plus the attitude of the staff makes us feel in disbelief that it is coming from a 5star hotel.
In amidst of such unfortunate events, we still give credits and thanks to the cleaning staff who are friendlier, smiling to guests. Special thanks to Sabrina from The Cliff restaurant who gave us her best genuine service. 2 stars 1 for the cleaning staff and another for Sabrina.

Awesome warm hospitable staff, efficient room service and great food!

Though we haven't really utilize the feature of the hotel since we use it for our preparation of our wedding overall it is a great experience. There is some minor hiccups but the staff resolve if quickly and that we are happy about it. The prestige suit is good for family, it is spacious and clean.

Breakfast & dinner buffet was a disappointment. Food varieties are almost similar between them.

What worst have yet to come.
On our check in date which was on a Friday.
We thank you for the complimentary chocolate macaroons which was delivered to us in the evening when I was out to work.
To my horror when my wife told me that your staff have open up the hotel room door themself and just walk into our suite with my wife feeding the baby!
How could this be happening!
I'm so close to dashing up to your reception to ask for an explanation but my wife cool me down as it's was our staycation getaway.
Not sure if you could feel how I should describe this experience for the stay with you guys.

I was traveling with my family that included my spouse and two small kids...the not so pleasant experience started from the moment i checked in. If the facilities and property is maintained well, it will add to the overall customer experience

suite bedroom + living room: blind room, no windows and very noisy air, even stopped
breakfast .: queue in the morning to have a table
pool: towel and stains with bleach
hotel far from the standards of a Sofitel or a luxury hotel in Singapore

Superb setting for a relaxing stay. I liked seeing the peacocks roaming free. Comfortable rooms, beautiful swimming pool, very good Italian restaurant

Rooms were a bit old (stains on mirrors, chipped off wood) and swimming pool was more tailored for adults rather than kids, but overall a nice and serene hotel, away from the hustle and bustle of Singapore. Great getaway.

I got the chance to visit one of their villas and it was amazing. The place is beautiful too but I didn't got to see much.. Should be a great place if you're rich.

Even the stay was for one day..im grateful that i have chosen sofitel . Nice resort with wonderful breakfast and swimming pool. Excellent scenery with peacocks all around. Great complimentary fish spa. Would definitely come back!

Didn't expect to see so many peacocks though, but they add a nice natural touch to the place.

Very nice rooms, great comfortable bed, and excellent food. The service was also incredibly attentive. They also have a free little pond with the little sucker fish that give your feet a dermal cleanse - weirdly fun! The nearby beach provides a nice walk, though there are lots of steps down to it so take the shuttle bus if you're not comfortable with stairs. Peacocks roam the grounds and open corridors too.

The hotel was ok but did expect a bit more for the money i m afraid. We were trucked off to farthest point of the hotel (it is a maze with little signage!) and it was definitely the poor relation to the reception area, everything looked tired and a bit unloved. Rooms were clean and did the job but didn t feel that special or particularly resort like we had been led to believe. Hotel breakfast was your typical chain hotel fare. It felt a bit repackaged and reused and the staff were there in a functional, process us through kind of way. The pool area is lovely and access around the island was easy. We had access to the SoSpa but it was again miles from our room and little info given on what we could use or how to use it. The facilities in the gym were pretty average and needed a really good clean! I can t say i d Be rushing to stay there again.

This resort has been newly upgraded by leaps and bounds, since Sofitel took over. Fine luxury resort.

Enjoyable. Would especially like to mention staff member Pop who went out of his way to assist. My only concern being as we arrived early, around 11.00 am we were not able to check in earlier and waited around pool area till 3.00 pm. Most hotels at least would check us in a couple of hours earlier.

It is Away from the city of Singapore, located at southern islands - Sentosa.
Beautiful place to just Relax and rejuvenate

The best hospitality and service. The food quality is very good every thing feels very fresh very friendly. A bit expensive but good things come with some cost

This used to be our fav hideout place 12 years ago when Sentosa was still a pristine nature island. Now 12 years laters, Sentosa is becoming so commercialized and artificial, I am not sure what to call this hotel any more. It hasn t changed much. The hallways feel boring. The pool is not so nice as I remembered. There is not much to do here apart from the pool. The beach bar is public and hotel guests get only 10 percent discount and there is a min spend of 50 SGD to use the lounge chairs there. The beach is man made, just feels so artificial. The rooms are ok, but housekeeping is a bit inattentive, didn t even make up the room one day. My tv was not properly hooked up. Anyway, I wouldn t know where to relax in this place when it is full. There are way too few pool chairs for the size of the hotel. It gets expensive to go and come back to the hotel if you want to head to downtown Singapore. There are so many more new hotels in Singapore, I am not sure whether I would stay here anymore. they wanted to charge me over 200 SGD for a late checkout at 6 pm. The manager gave me a better rate of 180 until 9 pm. Still, I found a better deal and just booked one extra night for the same price so I didn t have the hassle and could leave whenever for my 2 am flight. The breakfast was just ok with not so 5 star experience.

I had a great time at this hotel with their great promotion.
The standard room is spacious and comfortable. Had a great massage by a male therapist name Rodel, anyone love strong and firm massage should let him massage.
I spent most of the time at Le Bar, that is my favourite place in the hotel, food is delicious, great 1 for 1 drink promo and affordable price.
I'd love to go back again.

It is my second time staying at this resort and this time round, I've booked the So Relaxing package which came with the complimentary massage. It was a great getaway from the city life in Singapore, and most of the service staff were friendly and helpful to attend to our needs. We have so far not encountered any unpleasant experiences.

The most memorable experience for us would be with our masseurs from the So Spa, Sarah and Lyn as they knew exactly where we needed to relieve our muscle tension, and even recommended us to visit several facilities around the hotel and the spa, and we really loved it!

Overall, a great experience and I'd highly recommend to try out the spa experience if you're staying over there.

Nice place. The only complaint is the restaurant next to the pool were a bit difficult when we wanted to just order a light snack, made a big deal about "no sharing food", just seemed odd.
The rooms are nice and the rest of the facilities are good quality.
Family friendly place too.

Stayed for a weekend getaway, great rooms and service. Food for breakfast was excellent. Only issue was the number of insect bites because of the gardens setting.

Had the afternoon tea set for two. Alex who is our server was very friendly and extremely hospitable. The food and drinks were great!

Horrible staff. Called in to enquire but the staff were very rude and unprofessional in their approach. They were very quick to point out the things that i couldn't do without even hearing out what I was going to say. For a 5 star resort/hotel, unfortunately this is unacceptable.

I do not feel welcomed at all, nor do I feel that the staff was trying to understand what I wanted. 0 customer service.

Facilities are good, service is good, breakfast is really delicious Location is not good, but island itself is small, and it was not inconveniently much It is enough to cover with tram and bus!

Pleasant, fuss free one night staycation without the kid. Wish we had more time to enjoy the hotel itself. Really pleasant hotel premises and hotel staff are friendly and attentive (but not annoyingly so). Room was comfy and spacious, interesting decor but not too over the top. Le Bar was a nice place for a light lunch after checkout with the view of the ocean (their Salmon Aburi was really really good and not that pricey). We drove, so had easy access to the car to get to other parts of the island such as the Quayside Isle area which is really nice (went there for dinner AND breakfast). The fish footspa was a nice touch and so was the in-room coffee and evening macarons. And the beach tram is just in front of the hotel. One small thing: Tanjong Beach is really not as close as it sounds!

My Sister gave additional instruction to the concierge to tag one of the bag as a laptop which delayed them to deliver to our room. I told them I had an appointment and the concierge made special arrangement for me to reach the MRT station on time. I am very happy with the service and thus writing this review. Highly recommended!

It was a pretty nice hotel, a little too dim for my liking though. Very posh rooms and nice ambience.

Overall was ok. But the resort seems run down overall, including the rooms. Staff need more energy. Food needs a lot of improvement, especially the breakfast buffet spread and quality.

Been staying at a lot of hotels due to working commitments and lot of them at Accor brands hotel. For a luxury hotel that offered me crumbled biscuits as a welcome treat is a great disappointment.

IL LIDO @ Cliff serves wonderful Italian food

It s a little awkward to see the hotel which looks like an army quarters. With all the dead leaves mostly everywhere and ooops! Mosquitos I don t know about you but not in my category. Maybe it s for those whom want some quiet piece of time away from the busy and noisy city.

Superior level structure, with excellent and complete services. Good staff. Some negative for the room.

Good service but no more membership wish to join membership without gym okay but spa facility and swimming a must.

Sofitel is located on the Sentosa Island which was where we wanted to stay in. The facade was attractive and we lived the ambience. Room was clean and vibrant. They provided complimentary anniversary cake for us, although it came in early by 5hrs despite us telling the check-in receptionist our preferred time of delivery. Service was acceptable, although our requests took some time to be completed.

Couple staycation in October 2020

Cleanliness were to our expectation, a few stains on the curtains and shower head was spoilt. But we were good with that. Room was spacious, Bed was comfortable, toilet was spacious.checking in process was smooth and efficient manage to get an early check in. Staffs were overall friendly.

However, due to covid19 measures, room decoration for occasions were not available. Favours were not extended. Pool bookings were required for pool usage and these bookings were well organised. But we managed to enjoy the pool without overcrowding of guests.

The services were great, food were good and staff members were kind. The rooms are awesome

Just a brilliant hotel with amazingly beautiful rooms. You feel good immediately. The staff is very attentive. Also, the small pools, where you keep your feet clean, so that the feet can be nibbled and very soft. Really extraordinary!

Stayed for a night in the luxury garden room. First impressions of the resort was great. Quiet and clean. Staff at the check-in counter was very pleasant. The room, though very pretty, wasn't well maintained. One door was missing a knob, cracks were seen in the bathtub and the air conditioning was faulty. Nonetheless, my wife and I enjoyed the short stay and wouldn't mind revisiting for another celebration.

Our stay was wonderful. The resort is beautiful and has many great services and features but it is the staff that made our stay special. Always smiling, everyone greets you pleasantly and the service is outstanding. We will stay here again.

The fun experience, the thoughtful service made me happy, and the family was very satisfied. It is better to go back and forth with the bus at the peak or bigger, and it is close to nature and a good place for leisure. Will come to live.
