Room was ok. Stayed 3d2n during weekdays so the resort is not so crowded.
The overall experience is very poor. To summarise the bad service which we dont expect from a reputable 5star hotel.
-Check in procedure wasnt attentive as staff was using phone. Mentioned that we are celebrating our wedding anniversary, staff still asked if we are married.
-Went to the bar and ordered happy hour drinks for 2. Wasnt served ice water. Ask for ice water but only 1 glass came when we are a couple.
-2nd day room keycard didnt work, waited outside the room and staff didnt bother to apologise.
-checked out and staff didnt even offer to help with our cabin size luggage to the car.
All these may seem minor issues but it is the accumulation of such events plus the attitude of the staff makes us feel in disbelief that it is coming from a 5star hotel.
In amidst of such unfortunate events, we still give credits and thanks to the cleaning staff who are friendlier, smiling to guests. Special thanks to Sabrina from The Cliff restaurant who gave us her best genuine service. 2 stars 1 for the cleaning staff and another for Sabrina.
