Fantastic stay and one of the largest and richest breakfast buffets ever
Experience a luxury travel when staying at Sofitel Nusa Dua in Bali. Sofitel is a great choice when traveling anywhere. Everything is excellent. From food to comfy rooms to service and amenities, nothing else to ask for.
Service and facilities are very good, but there are too many hotels nearby, it should not be possible to live for the second time, good memories
Great vacation, especially advise Ubud, just a miracle !!!
Luxury Hotel
This is a relatively new luxury class resort hotel in the Nusa Dua area. As security is solid, we can stay at ease. There is also a private beach. The breakfast buffet is very delicious. You can enjoy various kinds of dishes.
I am here every morning during my stay.
It is hot, but the terrace seats feel like a resort.
This a 5 star hotel in Nusa dua area. Beautiful scene here, that landscape is very good. We love it to come back.
Putri and Dara in the Millesime Club made us feel very welcome. Their daily smiles and greetings made our stay with Sofitel wonderful. These two individuals in particular but also the staff in general are absolutely amazing.
However the Sofitel's policy of securing a deposit on credit cards upfront was truly confusing and ridiculous. It became downright rude and Guest harassment when we exceeded this deposit amount during the week and were hounded by the Front Desk to come and place a further deposit before the end of our stay. Given that we had already provided our credit card details and were not going anywhere before check out and the payment of our bill, this Hotel Procedure made us feel like criminals who could not be trusted. Pretty much soured our wonderful experience.
The facilities and service are ok but I am not impressed. The breakfast and most of service are good. One of their staff is racist because I am Asian. For Asian or local tourists, you might have the same issues in the future. Honestly, I got really pissed and decided not to come anymore to such this hotel even though they want to give me any complimentary or any extra nights, I won't forgive such thing like this. This hotel tries to show their ellegance to show their are a luxuorious hotel for instance, using French for greeting. For me, they should show Indonesian culture more to show local culture and uniqueness of Indonesian Sofitel brand despite their French brand. The price is not cheap as well. I prefer to spend more money in St.Regis, Mulia, or Bulgari to get better quality. I regret I didn't look bad reviews from trip advisor about this hotel. When I read previous bad review about this hotel, I have realised that some issues are similiar to what I faced. For me, I don't want to come to this hotel any more under any circumstances and won't recommend to my friends or relatives.
I stayed in a suite and went to a room or a lounge. Guests in the suite may call guests in the lounge. We received service as if we were staying.
There was a butler service, and my friends were quite happy. If you want to stay again
Manarai beach house, good vibes, great service nice pool
Beautiful hotel. Restaurant service hasn't been great, but all in all it's been a nice experience
Great Resort.A little bit expensive but everything is ok!
Great service, great rooms, excellent service, will be back
No refund offered, only another date with the exact same package in Bali. Have provided a doctor's certificate stating that I won't be fit to travel, this is still not good enough for them s they know more about me and my health than my personal doctor apparently. Weak and greedy. Although Monika from Luxury Escapes was reasonably friendly, yet not overly helpful. They refund some and not others. Who knows.
Nice hotel, with bars and public terraces, can be accessed from the beach of Musa Dua
Beautiful. Convenient. Great service. Just what our family needed.
Loved the landscaped gardens & pools. Right on the beach for water access. Friendly service from all the staff. Always happy to help. The best food was all local. The beach bar & grill is a must for Indonesian food.
We'll be back!
Had a nice dinner at beach restaurant. Nice and clean place, staff is very kind and helpful. Nice place for lunch or glass of wine on the beach with beautiful view.
The place is clean, beautiful, beautiful and the waitress was friendly
the atmosphere is calm and comfortable, and is in the tourist area of Nusa Dua
Eventually when we got the desired room it was better. However, My partner was very disappointed due to being ignored my some Hotel Staff. It seems difficult to book the desired room type as description is vague. Thus had to upgrade room to obtain correct room. Original room has loungers partially covered overshadowed by the bushes which questions the point of them being there. The Plunge pool is a small pool that perhaps would have been better made a Jacuzzi instead. This can avoid confusion with "pool Access" rooms. Room also had mosquitoes(Dengue) which started as soon as we arrived. Some Hotel staff constant attempt to use French becomes grating after a while. Have Stayed in other hotels on this holiday and feel for the price charged that this hotel is lacking behind the others. This was a fact finding stay and while I feel the staff provided good service (apart from ignoring my partner) it does not balance so will not be staying again for my next trip.
Big and very nice place to stay in Bali, especially at Nusa Dua. It got spacey room. Top rate for quality and services
Perfect hotel , most friendly staff. Nice restaurants..
I spent 2 nights for my honeymoon in Dec 2016. I stayed in the Honeymoon Suite.
There are four points that disappointed me.
1. Very late check-in:
I arrived at Sofitel at 13.00, and my room was not available yet. I had to wait 3,5 hours until they allowed me to get into my room (16.30). Sofitel gave no refund and no additional services to compromise this situation.
2. False information about the breakfast restaurants:
The next morning, I wanted to have a breakfast in one of the Sofitel restaurants. When I arrived at the restaurant, the staff told me that the tables were full, so she directed me to another Sofitel restaurant. Then I asked her if the second restaurant has the same menu as the first one, and she said yes. The day after, I managed to get into the first restaurant and I found out that the menu was different with more food variety. I felt that the staff made fun of me.
3. Rude and unsupportive room service:
I found out that there was no hair dryer available in my room. So I called the room service to request one, and she insisted that there was a hair dryer in my room. I had to argue with her until finally agreed to my request. I didn't believe I got this kind of service from such a premium hotel.
4. No late check-out:
Following my disappointment in point no.1, I requested for late check-out. They didn't allow me to do the late check-out.
In conclusion, I didn't get a pleasant experience after paying a lot of money. I would not recommend Sofitel Nusa Dua to anyone. So far, this was the worst part of my Honeymoon.
Very nice hotel with large rooms. Large pool area where you can always find a quiet spot. The beach section of the hotel is also very pretty, if a little windy.
The food was extremely good, but the service staff in the restaurants sometimes seemed a bit unmotivated. Otherwise, the service and the friendliness of the staff in the hotel were really excellent. Thanks for the nice time.
Well designed hotel, good craftsmanship too. Unfortunately it seems like it is poorly maintained ... see this photo of the phone is full of dust and it was not cleaned on the second day of my stay ... so the feeling was worried whether everything was cleaned properly, the bed, sofa chairs, towels, glasses etc ...
The breakfast is quite good, for a hotel of this class with quite a variety of choices.
Rooms are very nice and well cut, breakfast was very nice. In the time we were there, a lot was built and it was noisy everywhere (beach / pool). In front of our window, the walkway was broken, we were asked to complaint although another room but that would have been without sea view, we have declined and rather a few day trips planned. Otherwise, it's just stop no European 5 star class but that should be clear anyway :-) -> breakfast once 10 minutes on cutlery waited (has my food already) and when you had yourself cutlery you were snorting; Funny story in the elevator: I wanted from the third floor to the pool, on the second floor is the whole cleaning crew (including cleaning cart and so) in the small elevator to get to the second floor, was a fun and time-consuming experience; In the bar in the lobby, the sockets did not work, etc. So all the details but we do not go here in total again but of course no 1 or 2 stars, but loved 3. The other hotels on our trip (Bali / Komodo ) have received all 5 stars and are highly recommended!
more than excellent services and facilities.
we like it..
It was our first time staying at this beautiful Beach side resort for a week & I must say, it was beautiful. All of the staff will go up and beyond to help you with no problem. Thank you very much. Our room was lovely, the poolside was relaxing and there is a Bar in the pool area, bonus! The back of the hotel where the beach is, is just peaceful and beautiful. In near future when I return to Bali, Sofitel will be my first preference of accommodation when staying again.
Great hospitality, of course. A nice spot for brunch or intimate discussion over a meal. A little too modern in some spots.
One of our favourites in nusa dua great beach area and pool facilities. Rooms with lagoon access is our pick.
The staff was very warm and friendly . Made our stay a memorable one .. looking forward to come back soon .
Hotel is good . Stayed in 2 bedrooms villa with private pool room .
Ordered room service only to find out it tasted so bad .
Not recommended and will stay in different hotel .
Bad customer service from ladies who checked me out in that club lounge area . Please go away attitude after payment finished.
Second time staying at Sofitel Nusa Dua and the experience is less than satisfying. The first one was similar. As an accorplus gold member I was expecting room upgrade, but wasn't offered by the reception and I have to asked (almost insisted). No welcome amenities delivered to our new assigned room until we asked about it the next day. During check in we were told it will be delivered to our room. I have better treatment at Marriot hotels with lower membership status.
Should I renew my accorplus membership?
Run by thieves.
We hosted a grand wedding at this hotel but the management took measures to cut corners and deliberately served lower quantity of what we paid for to our guests and then withheld a refund.
They owe us over $20,000 in refunds.
friendly service, breakfast choices are many, direct access to the swimming pool is our consideration to sleep on sofitel with the kids.
Small estate, not as friendly as the other hotels I've been to in Nusa Dua. Service can definitely be improved
Sofitel Hotel in Bali...poor/slow communication tried to book a hotel room directly by email with Selviana Fortunella
Reservations Team Leader!! and still no reply back? 4 days to book a room really. So I decided to choose another hotel.
From the moment I stepped foot on the Sofitel, I felt the difference from other hotels I have been to in Bali.
I was impressed by the quality of service, cleanliness, rooms and facilities provided.
Indeed, the price is relatively expensive, but in my opinion, the experience gained is comparable to what I have to spend.
If you are bored, you can use the shuttle facility to stop at the Bali Collection, a kind of shopping center and it can be a hangout too.
Excellent food, drinks and hotel staff. Sun rises on this side of Bali.
Great family style resort, very friendly staff that made us feel welcome.
best hotel. thoroughly enjoyed it. family friendly, this place has it all. loved it.
nice hotel,
nice and friendly staff.
but for muslim guest please be careful for choosing food menu in the restaurant for breakfast
Such a beautiful and zen hotel. It is very subtle and classy. Not over the top, but an understated beauty, that you can't find in other hotels.
