I would love to give 0 Stars for our Experience. We booked a Room with 2 Queen Beds (for 3 people). When we arrived in the night, the receptionist told us there is only 1 queen room available. He was not really interested in finding a solution. After discussing for a while he offered us 1 Queen and 1 King room for the same price. Fair offer, although we discussed a lot to get there. So no real drive to please the customer. Super tired from the trip, we immediately went to bed. After getting up in the morning, we saw that there was A USED CONDOM underneath one of the beds. After telling the receptionist that this is super discusting and not acceptable at all, she confirmed that we stay for free.

Still absolutely not acceptable conditions but at least at no cost - that is at least what we thought. A couple days later my credit card was charged with the full amount. We sent multiple E-Mails and called the Hotel but it refused to refund the amount charged. So at the end, we did not get what we booked, got a super discusting room, and multiple times a very bad service.

I would not recommend this place at all!!!!

If you want to sleep anytime between 10pm and 9am You DEFINITELY do not want to stay here. The Rude staff was welcomed next to the constant noise and a TV that works 60% of the time...Ridiculously Horrid experience. But ONLY because I wanted to be treated like a human and get some sleep. Othereise; Topnotch!

I somewhat enjoyed my visit. However the hotel iz in the middle of now where. There's not much to do. You need to travel about 5 to 10 minutes for stores and anything else. Room was clean customer service good. However, rooms are somewhat dated. For breakfast all they offer is coffee..pre-wrapped muffins no condiments and cereal bars all are in 2 bowls..
Would most likely stay again if in a pinch..

The staff is not very friendly or helpful. When I asked about a cart to bring in my belongings , he said " we don't have anything like that here " . The next morning there was one by elevator on 3rd floor and one in the lobby.

The rooms were large, however the entire facility smelled funny. Customer service is not their strong suit, unfortunately. Rooms had those tiny flies and some bugs which was quite off-putting. For the price her night, one would expect much more.

Horrific Stay: We Would Never Want to Extend It

Horrific Stay: We Would Never Want to Extend It

A little backstory: Since the first week of April, my close friend and I have prepared for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to attend a concert at MetLife Stadium. That said, as two non-affluent college students from Massachusetts, we wanted the concert along with the travel and hotel experiences to be opportunities for us to both have fun and temporarily relieve us of the stress of finals, as they are due by tomorrow.

So, we check into the hotel and walk to our room door. At first glance, the door is propped open although we had not opened the door with our key. We then proceeded to enter, finding a dirty room with the following characteristics: unmade and rolled up bed sheets, and unprepared trash cans. Annoyed with the apparent lacking professionalism and housekeeping, my friend went downstairs to converse at around 6:30pm with a front desk worker, who then promised around 7:00 P.M. that the room would be cleaned while we attended the concert (which we did not return to the hotel from until after midnight today). Additionally, the worker who promised this made it clear to my friend that the housekeeper's/house keeping staff's work shift ended at 8:00 P.M. so our room would most definitely be cleaned when we returned.
So, by this point one should be able to imagine how both utterly disappointing and extremely infuriating it is that after a long thunderstorm at the venue, all we wanted to do is eat dinner and go to sleep (for just a few, short hours) in a clean room before having to journey back to our college campus - which we could not do because we returned from the concert to a still filthy room, a space that we were promised would be clean upon our post-concert return. Specifically, the bed sheets were still not made and are rolled up, there are food and bugs on the floor and various other places throughout the room, the trash cans have not been properly prepared and the bathroom has not either (dirty towels were even left sitting on the side of the tub, there was an open bar of soap on the sink counter, and the toilet paper was dusty). In addendum, the closet was not in an acceptable condition (there were no extra bed sheets/coverings and pillows and the ironing board has a broken covering), the wooden floor is sticky, and an iron was left sitting out between an outlet and the sink near the refrigerator.

Furthermore, the service worker at the front desk working the so-called "third shift" was quite rude and acted most uncouth toward not only my friend and I but multiple other customers. We expected that our room would at least be functioning, and the service workers know how to properly serve paying customers, a reasonably low bar for a place where one can supposedly stay for a prolonged period of time. His exact response to our report of these conditions in our room was that "that's a housekeeping problem not mine", which, even if true, is beyond unprofessional. The factoid that my friend and I had the happiness of our pre-planned trip squandered by the unprofessionalism of the Extended Stay America in New Jersey (north of Manhattan) is not only unfortunate, but uncalled for, and frankly a shame.squandered by the unprofessionalism of the Extended Stay America in New Jersey (north of Manhattan) is not only unfortunate, but uncalled for, and frankly a shame.

Stay away..Naomi is the most unprofessional, rude, non customer service assistant manager I ve ever seen. She needs to be retrained. I checked in and was quoted my price, I paid it and have my receipt that says zero balance. I checked out Naomi took my keys cards and said ok thank you for your stay. A few hours passed and I checked my bank account to only see I had another pending charge from Extended Stay that wasn t authorized or that I signed for..I than called the property and spoke with
Jeffrey he didn t see the problem at first but after placing me on hold and throughly looking through he saw the error, when I checked in Shanita applied a discount code to my reservation. Jeffrey suggested I call in the morning to speak to Naomi, which I did and that call was the worst she wouldn t listen, she was yelling and talking over me telling me I didn t pay the full price and I tried to tell her if she took the time to look over and listen to me she would see, but she hung up on me. I m big on customer service, I work in the customer service field myself, I didn t call right back after she hung up, I waited a hour and called to spoke to Jeffrey after she said he had gone for the day and he apologize for me going through this unnecessary stress and told me to call the manager, but I will be calling Corporate Office tomorrow. You have to treat people with respect and how you would like to be treated, everyone in customer service shouldn t be in it. Jeffrey and Shanita was exceptional employees and went above and beyond.

The hotel was clean and in good repair. I chose this hotel because it was closer to the stadium, but I learned that you cannot walk there. The Wi-Fi worked fine. I didn't try breakfast, but it was advertised as "grab and go", which I took to mean muffins and such. I probably wouldn't go back to this hotel mainly because of its location.

I just tried to make a reservation and the person was so sketchy on the phone. He wouldn t tell me the type of room...I have been going to hotels my entire life and just needed two beds and a room. He didn t even know where the hotel was. I asked if it was by Giants stadium and he didn t know. I asked for him to confirm. Then he hung up on me. probably a good idea to avoid booking here!!!

After a long drive from Pittsburgh, the front desk was very nice & made check-in quick & easy. But once we got into our room & started unpacking & settling down, we were very disappointed with the quality of the room. The following lights was out of order: the main lights in the ceiling, & stovetop light, 1 out of 3 lamps. There was sticky residue all over the kitchen countertop, cabinet drawers, fridge & bathroom counter top. When I went downstairs to pick-up kitchen essentials, half of the items were unavailable & each time I came downstairs, I had to wait at least 10-15mins for the font desk staff. The overall cleanliness of the room was 6/10. We had a ton of issues with the key card for the room & had to get new cards made - a total of three times. And one of the main entrance/ exit door did not work. The shower head was constantly dripping because could not fully turn off the faucet. On a positive note, we were happy with the privacy in this location.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I had booked a room for four people with 2 queen beds months in advance. When we checked in, no word that our booking had changed. Open the door to our room, and there was a king size bed and a pull out sofa. Went straight back to the front desk, she said that was what our booking states on her end because they double booked and did not have any other rooms available. Not to mention when we went up to complain, someone was asking for a refund because they had found a cockroach in their bathroom. After fighting with the third party whom we booked this hotel through, we only ended up getting $25 back which is ridiculous. I wanted to be able to refund the other party in our group since they had to sleep on a pull out sofa and a rolling bed. Also, not to mention that there was another hotel worker fighting with his girlfriend in the parking lot the day we were leaving; and when we were checking out, talking to the manager saying how rude customers are and that they need to speak English since we are in America. Unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel or agoda booking service if you re staying in this area.

Worst experience ever. We checked in at the extend...

Worst experience ever. We checked in at the extended stay in Meadowlands New Jersey. Got there and found that they had no pool after we had called to check to make sure there was a pool for the kids to go swimming. The clerk at the front asked if we wanted to change locations to one that has a pool and we said yes and she stated she would transfer everything over to the extended stay in Seacaucus New Jersey. Instead of advising us that she had credited my credit card back for the amount we were to stay at this location which locked up that money for 3 days, she didn't transfer anything over to the Seacaucus location. Once at the Seacaucus location, they would not do anything for us in regards to comping us for a night or two until the money was credited back to my credit card, I had to pay another 300.00 before they allowed us to stay. So after this 4 hour fiasco we got a room only to find that it was still occupied and placed in another room. Once in that room, there was no mattress on the pullout for the kids to sleep on, so we waited for that to arrive to the room. We had asked for dishes and cookware for 3 days so we could cook things in the kitchen and we never received the cookware. We had complained to guest relations about these issues and they advised that someone from corporate would be in touch with us and as of yet no one has reached out to us about the terrible service we had dealt with. We ended our stay early as the service was not the greatest. Even asking for towels was even met with a sigh or a sour look on the face from a couple of the front desk clerk. Won't ever stay at an extended stay ever again.

To say that the customer service at this hotel is ...

To say that the customer service at this hotel is abysmal would be a grotesque understatement. I booked my reservation on Expedia, complete with payment, at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 16 for one night's stay that evening. There was no indication on Expedia to the effect of "Only X number of rooms left!" I arrived to check in at 2 a.m., having driven 14 hours from Tennessee. I arrived at the front desk, and the woman working could not have been less interested in her job or performing anything remotely resembling quality customer service. Now, I get it. I have worked in retail. It sucks. But it's called acting. This woman did not even PRETEND to give a care about my situation.

When I told her that I had a reservation and was checking in, she curtly told me that there are no rooms available. She asked when I made my reservation, and I told her around 7:30 that evening. She said that they booked up at 11.

I asked "A.M or P.M.?"

When she told me that they booked up at 11 P.M., I said that I had a reservation and had already paid. At 2 a.m. after a 14 hour drive, I was not the most pleasant customer in that moment, and I asked how this could happen.

She told me that they were supposed to call me to tell me that they had no rooms left. However, I never received any such call. And if they booked up at 11 p.m. and I made my reservation at 7:30 p.m., how does that make sense?

Let me be clear. AT NO POINT DURING THIS ORDEAL did the front desk clerk apologize and try to make the situation right. That is Customer Service 101, and this woman failed miserably in that regard. This woman coldly told me that I needed to call Expedia. When I was frazzled and trying to show her my receipt from my reservation, she just rudely asked, "Do you want the number?...Whenever you're ready."

A front desk clerk competent in customer service would have said, "I am so sorry that this has happened. There must have been some miscommunication with the afternoon front office staff. I am so sorry that our oversight has inconvenienced you. Let me call Expedia and we will get this straightened out."

Did this woman say any such thing? NO! She just sat behind the desk and rolled her eyes...metaphorically if not literally...as I, exhausted and apoplectic, explained my situation to the woman at Expedia, who DID do her best to rectify the situation. It was comical when the woman at Expedia called the front desk clerk while I was on hold, and I again got to hear the front desk clerk's perfunctory, couldn't care less tone, as the front desk person told the woman at Expedia that they have no rooms.

The woman at Expedia refunded my payment for the reservation and booked me a room at a nearby hotel...a hotel $98 more expensive than my original reservation.

I understand that sometimes oversights happen. The attitude of the front desk clerk who worked the Saturday into Sunday overnight shift on June 16-17 was unbecoming of a customer service representative, and counseling and coaching is imperative. You don't have to like your job, but you need to at least PRETEND to care.

Needless to say, I will never book this hotel again.

And when I finished the call with the woman at Expedia and was heading out the door, the aforementioned front desk clerk said NARY A WORD!!!

If I could, I would give ZERO stars.

Trash was often left in the hallway, making them smell like rotting garbage. Front desk staff often seemed like they had no idea what they were doing, were confused by basic questions, and lost a piece of mail. Housekeeping didn't show up on the scheduled day a couple times. Room key stopped working if it came in contact with a credit card, and barely worked at all for the exterior doors into the hotel. The only wi-fi was one unsecured network that everyone was connected to. TV remote did not work. Overall, the price was very affordable but it was not worth the savings.

This place is terrible we booked a room a month in advance and when we tried to go see the room each day the room was booked. Took my family for a Christmas vacation. I booked my room with two beds, I called ahead to see if the kitchenette was in all units and to make sure I had two beds. My booking said two beds and so did the guy I talked to but when I arrived I had one bed. Complimentary breakfast is ok. But the hotel has murder vibes. Its dark, no one is ever at the front desk and it smells weird. Lmao! My bathroom wasn't cleaned well and my toilet had a stain that could have been blood or poop. The person in the room before me mist have spilled a drink or something and it wasn't cleaned as it was all over the wall and lamp shade. NEVER AGAIN!

Although this looked nice aesthetically... It wasn't too great. Firstly there is no ice machine. The first room we were in, the AC was broken. They only gave one keycard for the room even though we were 2 guests. The bathrooms didnt have any lotion or conditioner like most places do... And the biggest kicker was their so called continental breakfast is coffee, granola bars, apples and some muffins. In this same price range we have always gotten atleast a decent breakfast.

I have been to multiple ESA hotels but this was the worst experience.
1. The stove top was not setup. There was no drip tray below the burner and the burner wouldn't sit there firmly. It took 30+ minutes for the stove to get heated.
2. I went to get the cookware and specifically asked for a scrubber. They said its in the box. But I found only the dish washing liquid and no scrubber.
3. Asked for paper towel roll (which I found in all ESA until now ) . The reply was a rude "no"..
4. As we entered , the room had a foul smell.
5. The hair dryer had a lot of hair struck in it and was not usable...
Disappointed !!!

Bed was terrible, only had 3 non-matching pillows, window faced the very well lit parking lot (and curtain didn't close completely), shampoo was half full and covered in soap scum, desk chair had a whitish stain on it as did the picture hanging on the wall next to the bed. Gave it a 2 because the staff was wonderful and the location was perfect, but we won't be back.

Needs updating, blankets feel like they have been used for 20 years. I have to stay in different hotels due to my job and out of all the hotels that I have stayed at this has got to be the worst one yet. Constantly having internet issues and cable issues. Constantly smelling marijuana and trash in the hallways. When other people shut their doors (several rooms down) you not only hear it but it rattles your door. Side door to the building does not latch so anyone can just walk in.

This was by far the worst hotel I ever stayed up! When we checked in on Thursday there was a pile of trash in the hallway. And when we checked out on Friday the trash was STILL there! All night there was some girl getting beat up by her boyfriend and hotel staff did nothing about it! In the early morning they continued fighting again...STILL NOTHING WAS DONE! When we finally checked out us and 3 other families waited way too long to be serviced because no one was at the front counter! I had to call the hotel on my cell phone just to get some service! Terrible experience

I'm giving this a 5 review because of how impressed we were with the customer service we received. All motels/hotels can have issues from time to time; however, it was how quickly and pleasantly the problems we had were resolved. It left you knowing that they were genuinely happy that you selected their business.
True, it's possible to find fancier accomadations but you will be hard pressed to find one that treats you with 'old fashioned' service! You will find the fees are reasonable for this area.
Rooms are clean and up to date.. also.. PET friendly!! (Extra charge)
