Great service and food at this charming pub with a restaurant. Food was delivered quite quickly on a Thursday evening. Parking is available on the street outside.
We had dinner with warm bread and soft butter to start. Starter of quail egg and the main course of cod were good but the best dish was the peppered venison steak.

It's no surprise The Bell has won the pub of the year award multiple times. The beers and spirits are local from Ramsbury Brewery & Distillery, and the produce in the dishes are too - also from the Ramsbury Estate. The rooms are well equipped, comfortable, and the staff are knowledgeable and welcoming. I came for work nearby, but I'll be back for pleasure.

Over-priced and not really pub food. Very expensive, too, but friendly staff. Rather too many pseudo-rurals to call it a country establishment. Village's other pub far more authentic.

Pleasant surroundings, good, friendly service and excellent food accompanied by a ginger beer shandy.

Reasonably priced a la carte and fixed menus.

Ample off street parking. Village location.

Frequented by the actor Nigel Havers and friends.

Great staff. Friendly locals and a roaring fire. Food and breakfast we're great. Felt like a good local pub. Rooms were well set up and comfortable. Went for a run and no weird looks after returning covered head to toe n mud thanks to a slip in a field nearby.

Excellent Venison burger and well served beer. Large beer garden and dog friendly. Good walks from the pub into large enclosed fields letting dogs run free and safe from traffic. Just the place for a quality pub lunch followed by a good walk.

Always a delight. good beer and ale and lovely staff. Pub normally has a good atmosphere with a steady stream of people in. Food has been yummy although last ate here 6 months ago. well worth a visit if you're passing through the area.

Lovely place. Great for all, theybhace a cafe, restaurant and bar. Cafe is good price with some lovely home cooked treats. Restaurant is a little expensive but the food reflects the price, very lovely food. Bar is well stocked and priced fairly. Drinks available with the specials adjusted frequently. Bar snacks are a real treat. Dripping toast being a personal favourite.

Delicious! Food was amazing and every single dish worth to try. There are also vegetarian options so everyone can find something for themselves. Everything was so good that we only took picture after meal :)

Great country pub, lovely atmosphere, they offer a simple menu with a nice selection of food. I had Burger and fries and it was fantastic, the burger it's self was home made and was one of the best I've had, the fries were freshly made thin potatoes fries and they were fantastic, along with the side trimmings and a pint of local beer what more could you ask for. The pub is in a lovely location, the staff where very welcoming and all at a reasonable price.

Very welcoming pub and restaurant with polite, friendly and attentive service. Local game cooked and presented well, with an interesting range of additional veg available. Puds were very inventive, with cabbage ice cream and an excellent saffron lemon cheescake with finger lime. Good range of popular wines by the glass too.

Excellent quality full English breakfast, every item cooked to perfection. My wife had smashed advacado with poached eggs and that was also perfect. I have eaten here before and even though it's a 24 mile round trip it's more than worthwhile.

On both occasions that I ve visited The Bell, the quality of the food and service has been excellent. The Sunday roast was particularly delicious - tender beef, homemade Yorkshires, crispy roast potatoes and tasty mixed vegetables. The staff were attentive, the service was prompt and the menu varied enough for something to please everyone. Looking forward to the next visit already!
