Wooden Nickel is a solid, inexpensive place to rent G&E gear. The people are always friendly and accommodating. Their in house shop is great for last minute expendables, and their prices are listed online so you can quickly get an idea of what you might want and what it will cost. The only occasional downside is the gear is sometimes beat up, and they don't rent trucks. That said, they're still the best choice for the price, and are improving their gear quality over time.

Walked in and was helped immediately. Needed a c stand and got one for way cheaper than at film tools. Used sandbag was 10 bucks. Helpful staff. Got in and out quick. Guess that's why most of my grip friends recommend this place.
