This is my 2nd Mercedes I've owned. My experiences with Sears Service has been great with both older classic Benz . I also had a great experience with a local food shelf group and Sears, in purchasing a vehicle to get food out to people that can't get out to get to the food shelf. Sears has always stepped up to the plate to help our local community,a Tip of the Hat to them .

Great service on the used Volvo we bought at Sears...

Great service on the used Volvo we bought at Sears Imported Autos! We noticed some issues with our "new" car a couple weeks after purchase and took it to our personal mechanic to give the car the once over. He found a couple things and we took it in to Sears hoping to have them resolved as the 30 day/3000 mile warranty was still in effect.
Kent the Used Car Manager was very courteous to my wife and helpful with the car. He and Sears really stood behind their vehicle and fixed all of the issues to our satisfaction (at significant parts and labor expense, I might add).
This is our first purchase from Sears, although after this experience, it will most likely not be our last! Great people, really nice cars and excellent service at Sears Imported Autos.

I live south of the twin cities and was looking to find a CPO Mercedes that had the features important to me. Because of the distance involved, I wanted to do the majority of my investigation via email. The Sears Imported Autos website connected me with a person in the early morning then arrange for a rep to contact me. That rep was Jared Kenny. He responded promptly, provided the information I requested and communicated with me as I wanted. After a week of investigating vehicles over email around the twin cities, I planned a meeting with Jared Kenny first thing on a Saturday morning, He provided updated information prior to our early am meeting and was there waiting for me as I walked in the door. The vehicle I test drove was my second choice, but the salesman at Feldmanns made the thought of giving them my business unpleasant. I gave Feldmanns one last chance while I was talking with Jared and they again let me down and gave me more reasons to work with Jared. I purchased my vehicle on the spot. I came in with financing prearranged and Sears worked to get me a better deal and they did. For my first interaction with Sears and Jared, they did nothing but deliver during the entire process and I'm very happy with my choice of vehicle and dealership. Thanks Sears Imported Auto's and thanks Jared Kenny.

Professionalism is key. Follow-ups prove you are in business to the satisfaction of the customer. I understand that in the car business, your main goal is to sell a vehicle and that s okay but it s concerning when you do not make an effort to inform another potential buyer that the vehicle of interest has been sold. Ken, the reason this is important is because you could have had another sale but this lack of communication has disqualified you and your company from being an option for doing business. Communication is always the way to go.

Had my car in for service and they did a wonderful...

Had my car in for service and they did a wonderful job. My service advisor continued to update me on the progress and when they expect to have my car. Everything was perfect until I picked up my car. That didn t go as smooth as I would have expected from past experience. I left the service advisor a message about it and received a call back immediately. I then received a call from the Director or service and he really wowed me. He was very empathetic with the situation and went well above and beyond my expectations on making my experience extremely positive. Highly recommend their service department.

Boris is a true professional, understands the true meaning of LUXURY Service with your luxury purchase. His Expertises with Benz vehicles and knowledge of his products is impeccable. I have shopped with Boris for years and he is the MAN who goes above and beyond to make deals happen, works with every client to ensure them that they will experience the luxury service. I called him at 8pm, told him I wanted a vehicle tomorrow to sign out! He ensured me he will get it done, he went to pick up 4 brand new tires from few various locations to honor his word. He called me with a smile and said Sir I have you scheduled for 4:30 sharp to sign out and enjoy your vehicle today as you have requested! I had a wonderful experience here recently! The sales team was very kind and helpful throughout the entire process, specifically Sue Brink and William Steiner, the two we worked with! This was my first time buying a car so I was not 100% certain on what to do or what was happening some of the time, so I asked a lot of questions. Sue was patient and kind and answered all the questions I could think of to the best of her ability :). William made sure that on the day I went to get my car the paperwork was all ready to go so that we could get in and out as fast as possible which was wonderful! Although I had to wait for my car to be ready since it had just rolled in and was still in the process of being checked when I expressed interest, it was worth the wait! I would recommend Sears to anyone looking for a Mercedes dealer that provides exceptional customer service.

Service was quick and John was fantastic. He quickly picked up on our needs and steered us to a completely different car from what we originally thought was the car and he was completely right!

We thought the 2017 CLA was the right fit and after a quick look realized it was way too small for our needs. John recommended a 2015 CLK and though it was a bit older, he couldn t have been more right.

Jennifer helped us with the transaction and was funny, friendly and helped make the paperwork a breeze and not at all stressful.

Great dealership and would totally recommend.

I had a problem with one of the power outlets in my ML 550. I was given an immediate appointment which only took 20 minutes to fix. The service was friendly and very accomodating. I look forward to having Sears take care of my car for a long time.

I own a C300 that I purchased August 2013 and went in on 5/28/14 for my first oil change. The service was excellent from Reid W. He explained the entire process and he was very friendly. Also the delivery guy when I purchase the car provide exceptional service. The delivery guy was not in the office when I purchased the car so he offered to come to my home to explain all the bells and whistles about the new car. Sure you can read the manual, but that's no fun. Thank you Benz dealer for living up to your excellent reputation and making me feel like my business is important to you everytime I come to the dealership. First class all the way!

After seeing a Mercedes online I was interested in, I made an appointment and met with John Mulligan. When I arrived, he immediately showed me the car I was interested in. My purchase was fast and easy. The car was throughly cleaned and expertly detailed when I picked it up.

Finding a place that makes one feel welcome just the right way is hard, but I feel very comfortable when I visit SEARS with my SLK. The service manager Bill, is the kind of person that defines 11 on a 1-10 scale. I am happy to take my car to SEARS if I know I get to deal with Bill. I have always been very happy with the mechanics, and what they do. For one of my repairs the problem was of intermittent nature and they approaches the repair as if it was their own vehicle. I was very happy with that experience.

Had an awkward experience with a salesman who had to ask permission from a manager for my husband to test drive a Benz with a valid "out of state" ID... Never had an issue at any other dealership or anywhere for that matter when it came to his driver's license. Felt like discrimination to be honest. The manager responded with a dumbfounded expression like "of course that's ok- what's the big deal?" Weird. That really soured our experience and turned us off...

My wife & I had a great experience. I setup an appointment with Justin H the day before to look at the recently traded in vehicle. He acknowledged that there were a few cosmetic fixes that were needed and he would make them right prior to us trading in our vehicle. The process from then on went very smoothly, no pressure from Justin or the finance dept. They made a very fair price offer on our trade.

Service dept is excellent.
In recent years I had lots of opportunities to deal with them due to my older cars !!
Normally deal with Bill and he's always attentive and thorough above and beyond my expectations. Interactions with the other guys there are also always positive.
Decided to upgrade to a new C class and now can also recommend the new car sales folks. John was pleasant and knowledgeable and great to deal with.

As a first time buyer, I knew exactly what to look for in a car and I knew fully which car I wanted to come home with. Daniel at Sears Imports made this easy an easy process for me to leave almost the same day with a vehicle. He was great at making accommodations and answering any questions or concerns I had as well. Overall, I am very satisfied and overjoyed with the service I received not just from Daniel, but everyone else I came into contact with. I highly recommend Sears Imports AND Daniel for an awesome experience.

I will first start by saying how much I appreciate...

I will first start by saying how much I appreciate my salesperson Josh. He was fun to work with and got my deal done rather quickly. I thought this was the best car purchasing experience ever.

Finally my new E350 was available for pickup. The car supposedly went through all inspections before delivery. The car smelled of burning something or other after I took it home. I thought it was new car residual that would clear up with a couple days. Next thing I know I am on the side of the road unable to move. Reminder, this is a brand new car. I called the dealer, since it was brand new. No one available to assist. I called mbrace, which was sold as a fantastic service that responded with a 70 minute wait time. I was able to get the car back to the dealer. It was to be repaired. Reminder, this is a brand new car. I picked it up a few days later, only to have the same road side scare.

I wonder sometimes which was the wrong decision, purchasing from Sears or purchasing a Mercedes Benz.

Reid, you took ownership of the issue and got it repaired. I think.
Gary, you never responded to my last email. Poor Service
Josh, I would buy from you again. Not sure this product, but would buy from you again.

Great services and staff. Always taken care of my services to the highest standards. Not to mentioned the people that doing the paperwork always nice. I came in 3 times and worked with 3 different people and they always nice. I recommend for them to get a pay raise for a wonderful jobs they have done.

After an extensive search for an AWD high MPG car ...

After an extensive search for an AWD high MPG car I purchased a 2014 BMW 328D xdrive from Sears Imports of Minnetonka, MN . I had a good experience with their sales staff. My salesman Daniel Rosario-Torres was exceptional in helping me make an out of state purchase a successful one. The pictures you see on the internet don't have the detail to ensure there aren't minor or unseen flaws in the paint or interior. At my request Daniel personally inspect the vehicle and reported the only minor flaw in the vehicle. I put my trust in him before I committed to buying a ticket and flying in to buy the car and it paid off. He was right on the money with his inspection. I was picked up at the airport and was driving home within a few hours. The Mercedes dealership was nice and professionally run.
As I am in another state I won't be doing anymore business the them but if you are in the area I would feel good about dealing with them, specially Daniel.

Let me apologize for the length of this review in ...

Let me apologize for the length of this review in advance, I want to thorough and accurate. Let me first state that I am a "car guy", I have and currently own several cars, they evoke emotion in me and I am truly passionate about each one I own. My wife is very similar, a ride in an awesome car puts a smile on her face. On Oct 25th, 2017, I finally convinced my wife to purchase her first MB, a beautiful blue GLC 43 AMG. Sara, her sale rep was great. Within the first week of owning the car my wife asked me to take it for a drive as it was making a loud noise when she drove around corners at a slow speed. As I backed the car out of the driveway I immediately noticed the front tires were "scrubbing or tire hopping" on the pavement, and it was horrible, the scrubbing actually causes the car body to shake. We took it in for service and they had an update to change the fluid in the trans case, didn't seem like a fix to me but, we tried. It did nothing. After being in and out of the shop a few times with no solution I decided to start trying a few different things myself. I have owned several MB over the yrs and have collected a few sets of aftermarket wheels. I started trying different combinations of wheels and discovered that if i used the factory wheels with 5 mm spacers the scrub was completely gone, problem solved. Jump ahead 3 months, Im driving my wife's car and notice a bad vibration when braking, I know immediately the rotors are warped. Please remember, I am car guy, I haved lived cars since I was 12 yrs old. My wife took it into the dealership, they called her later in the week and informed her that the brake rotors were warped and that it was because of the 5 mm spacers that were used and that they would need to contact MB to see if the warranty would be voided on warped rotors at 10,000 miles. You can image my reaction, I called and spoke with the service manager and asked him if he could explain to me how a 5 mm spacer would cause the rotors to warp? After a 30 minute call with him it was clear this was a story he could tell my wife, but now that he had to try and explain it to someone who new cars, he was lost.The conversation ended with no solution, a day later I received a call from the same service manager letting me know that he had "went to bat" for us over the bad rotors and had gotten MB to cover the cost. That's great, but don't make it seem like this was something special, if it would have been just my wife, they would have charged her for the repairs. Lets now jump to Nov, 2018, fed up with the scrubbing issue not being resolved and the front tires now being shredded because of the scrubbing, I meet with the sales team and let them know we are considering dumping the car since it has become a sore spot for my wife to drive and experience this everyday with her brand new MB. We have a conversation about getting her out of the vehicle and into another MB, I make them what I think is a fair offer, $25,000 cash and our GLC for a 2018 GLC with a sticker of $104,000. The sticker on my wifes car was I believe $76,000. So after depreciation, discount on a 2018 model and everything else we have gone thru, $25,000 seems reasonable. I understand that may not be the number they need, but the last time we spoke, I was told they would be in touch in a couple days-its now been a week and I have heard nothing. Once again I can only assume they are hoping we just go away-which is what we have decided to do. Sell the MB and get into another brand. I can't tell you how disappointing this has been for my wife, her first MB and it turns out to possibly be the worst buying experience she has ever had. It's unfortunate because I truly love the new MB's, but I would never have been as patient as my wife has been. Daniel

Great experience! It took only 1 hour and 45 minutes from when I entered the building to when I drove off in my new car! This included appraising my trade in and completing the loan docs. I will buy from them again!

Servicing or repairing a vehicle can be very stressful but all of the people at Sears Imported Autos make the entire process very easy. The staff is always professional and friendly, the quality of their work is second to none and the results speak for themselves. I would not service my vehicle at any other location!

I took my 2011 GLK in to get new tires and was pleasantly surprised to find out that Sears was highly competitive in their rates for the cost of the tires and installation. Not only that with the complimentary loaner vehicles they offer - they actually came out ahead of the competition!

I was out to the dealership the first time on Satu...

I was out to the dealership the first time on Saturday (an hour drive from my house) to look at a vehicle they had listed online. When I arrived I was told the vehicle was still being detailed and would be there the lot the following week. The next Saturday I took the car for a test drive. Then went to test drive a couple other cars from nearby dealerships. I was in a hurry so just emailed Ken Dube, the sales rep I was working with, asking if he could sell it for $24,000.00. I never received a response. On Monday I emailed another sales rep, William, since Ken did not respond. Awhile later I received an email from a Lisa. She told me Ken would follow up with me. I receive the following e-mail from Ken:

A 6 . price is $24500 , That will be the best deal , plus tax title fees

So, I email him back and tell him it s a deal. I call my lender and get her information and email Ken with her fax/email information. Then I get an email from Ken saying:

wait I cant do $24500 , I have to stay at the asking price of $26595 ,

After emailing with Ken, talking on the phone with his manager, John Lutsch, and speaking with the general manager, Mike Rater, none of them would agree to honor the price Ken sent me IN WRITING in an email.

They lost my business.... tread cautiously.... these sales people obviously don t care about trying to screw their customers. They would rather have you leave mad than give you a deal they offered you IN WRITING! Have some morals- clearly they don t!

We worked with John Drewitz for our purchase of a 2014 CPO E350 4matic sedan. This was our first Mercedes-Benz, and John's knowledgeable about the vehicles, features, and options was very helpful to us. John was courteous and professional throughout the entire process of selecting the best model, identifying an excellent CPO vehicle with the features we wanted, handling a trade, and completing the transaction. Jules Bacsa helped us through the vehicle delivery process by demonstrating the numerous E350 features and pointing us to online information resources. Especially for a first time Mercedes-Benz buyer, there is a significant amount to absorb. Even though I had downloaded and scanned through the E350 and technology owner manuals prior to the purchase, Jules' instruction was very valuable for us. I strongly recommend John, Jules, and the Sears team to anyone looking to lease or purchase a Mercedes-Benz.

Jon Kutsch was the perfect salesman! He facilitated the easiest and most pleasant auto transaction we've ever been involved in . . . and we're located in San Diego, CA. In less than a week from our initial contact, our 2019 BMW i3 was delivered to us exactly as represented and without a single problem. Jason was professional in providing all the paperwork we needed, including title, to register the car in California. Frosting on the cake is that Jon is trustworthy, really nice and fun to work with. If possible, I will buy all my cars from Jon and Sears Imported Autos, Inc. Mercedes Benz!

I was an existing customer! One day I bought in a buyer to purchase a car. I was promised to be taken care of, but the promised was empty. The salesman was rude and the manager never came to talk to us. After the deal was sealed, the salesman handed us the keys didn t show us where the car was and didn t even congratulated us. This place very bad!! I regret to say that I am no longer a customer of this dealership and will not step my foot in this place again.
This is not about the money. It s an empty promises and bad customer representation.

My husband and I had just come from another car dealership and I, unfortunately, was not shining my brightest after the experience. Once at Sears, Mark greeted me and asked how he might help me, as I said I was not at my best and judged Mark before he even spoke to me. Once he said that he was actually going to buy the car we were looking at I was SURE this guy is just another stereotype. I could not have been more wrong! Somehow Mark won me over, turned my present moment into a positive experience and reminded me to trust that some people are actually as genuine as they present themselves to be. A class act - and an "A" player. We ended up buying the car, trading in our older Mercedes and gaining a new friend, and it turns out, Mark really was going to purchase the car. This is our 3rd purchase in 5 years with Sears.
Regarding the question below "What makes you most anxious about a dealership..." IT ALL MATTERS.

My warranty had been up for all of three weeks when my I took in my car for service. Turns out my alternator was bad and needed to be replaced. I was understandably disappointed, but only for a moment. Sears replaced my alternator, same day, for no charge. I was relieved and happy, but not surprised. The service I have received throughout the ownership of my Mercedes has been second to none. They go above and beyond, are prompt, and knowledgeable. I would suggest the Sears Service Team to anyone. Al, Kristine, and Reid have taken great care of me, I'm a customer for life.

Bring my car in to ask why the air bags deployed. So i paid 2 separate diagnostic fees (not that big of a deal) but then when i come in to pay and get the diagnostic the service advisor didnt kno what caused it just had a list of the parts that i needed to pay for. Love the car but i hate dealing with the dealership because i dont speak to the guy whose actually working on my car. I talk to the middle man who happens to be a parts salesmen. If you own a benz. Not only would you save money by going somewhere else but by going to an actual autoshop but you'll speak to a person that actually works on the car so you will have a better understanding opposed to a guy who looks like he would call triple a if he popped his tire.

I came in to purchase a GLK and was a little disappointed. Justin didn't seem motivated to work with me. After driving the car I exchanged information and decided to think overnight. Surprise, never received a follow up call - will not be going back.

Nice, friendly people.

But almost $500 to replace 4 spark plugs??

Was told total bill of $650. Ouch! Still way to much for the scheduled vehicle servicing.

Wife picked up and was charged $750.

Car serviced for under three hours; including warranty work. Labor charge of $571. Wow!

Since when do auto repair shops, even dealer, charge law firm rates??

Trying to resolve by phone was a most unpleasant experience. Their tone was confrontational and defensive. They had phone logs of all phone conversations to cover their tracks. But they did not have texts with my wife, which I recently sent them, indicating a $650 total charge.

High cost; bad customer service.

And not even a complementary car wash???

Won't happen again!

After warranty, go to your local shop...save $$$!!!

Tried to test drive and buy a car here. Setting up a test drive appointment was a severe challenge, with them first not reading my email and my desired timeframe to arrive (and then the sales manager, John, confirming the WRONG time AFTER my window of availability), and second with NO response whatsoever. I was able to confirm via IM on their website late at night that the car was still available. Two emails, two texts (to my sales guy's Aaron's number which was provided with instruction to call or text to reach him directly), and a phone call later the following day, I went ahead and headed to the lot with fingers crossed since my intention to visit remained ignored. I had been clear in my communications that I was driving from Stillwater to see it and I'd like to be alerted if the trip would be for naught. When I got to Sears, there was no acknowledgement of either these attempts or even the existence of my sales guy when I mentioned him by name (was he already justifiably fired?), but a helpful gentleman (Nick) sat down with me to look up the car. At this point my husband arrived as well, having left work to join me. Unfortunately for Nick, he got stuck delivering the bad news that the car had sold that morning. VERY aggravating. Also very curious as we're in the market to buy a car in the next week or so that all of the other dealerships I've been in touch with are over-zealous contacting me and following up, whereas Sears seemed to have no interest in doing so. Other reviews seem decent, but our experience was extraordinarily underwhelming and unimpressive. We headed over to Jaguar/BMW/Audi instead.

Ron Budhram- service manager, Andy Willman service advisor both did an excellent job. What other MB dealers refused to do ,Sears Imported Auto Service department did what they suppose to do- help the costumer with a quick decision, professional attitude "can do" and very easy process. Thank you, it was incredible that u could help so quickly.Great job.I would recommend your service to everyone.

I've purchased at all three local MB dealerships and I have to say... Sears Imports is the BEST! Aaron Schoenack (new car manager) and Ruth Maynard (corporate sales) were WONDERFUL and easy to work with in the purchase of a 2017 GLS. Sears has followed up several times to check in and answer questions on the vehicle. Sears Imports is a class act. They stand behind their products and they treat the customer like royalty. Thank you Sears! I'll be back!

I purchased a used vehicle from out of state sight unseen. My sales person took a look at the car and described the car as good condition. He also sent some photos, of areas that did show some minor wear. When I went o pick the car up, the car was in my mind in "EXCELLENT CONDITION" I was treated respectfully and most importantly, fairly. Very responsive and no hassle purchase.

My husband and I had been in contact with Endre Bacsa in regards to a 2014 Smart ForTwo they had advertised as a Brabus. He knew we would be traveling from central WI with the intention of purchasing, so it would have been great if he would have stepped up and just been honest. We took it for a test drive and it ran fine, but it WAS NOT a Brabus, so not as good of a deal as we thought. When we returned from the drive he didn't ask if we liked it or if we had any questions, he just ushered us in to sign paperwork. My husband noticed one of the key fobs had scotch tape on it, and Endre tried to sweep the concern under the rug and say it was fine, he didn't know why it was on there. After removing the tape, the buttons were literally falling out of the fob. Endre again tried to sweep it under the rug by saying that it would be covered under warranty. NO, it wasn't, and it would have been $400 to replace. Needless to say, we just walked away. Total waste of time and money.

I actually enjoyed my experience here. I first was looking at new but then ended up having to review used options. The salesmen, Brian Podgorski, was extremely patient and helpful. He earned my trust when I asked for recommendations and he offered a car well below my stated budget. I ended up buying elsewhere but will go back here when I'm looking again.

The only nice experience here was with the receptionist. What a stuffy crowd, dead vibe, not warm or welcoming, not helpful.

Great service - had a family member's car towed th...

Great service - had a family member's car towed there and they followed up right away. Kept calling me and updating me until it was fixed. Really reasonable pricing. Patient, and clear about the work, estimated costs and items that they did to fix it. Also gave us a comprehensive list of things still to fix for the future. Super impressed!
