I purchased my car from Sears, they made the buying process quick, easy and fun. I have since had my regular maintenance done with them and WOW! Their customer service has made me a customer for life!

About a month ago I got in a fight with a snow bank and lost..... I called Sears to ask who they recommended for body work and was thrilled to find they have a body shop. My insurance made the process of getting my car fixed a nightmare. Sears went above and beyond to make things as easy for me as possible. My car looks good as new! I can t say enough good things about Sears Imports, highly recommend!

I think it is time that Sears pays attention to the negative feedback about Mr. Soroush Nazhad and takes action. I ran into him at the Auto Show and he was nice enough to give me his business card. After being done with the Auto Show I decided that the new Mercedes GLE should be on my short list for a test drive. I went back to him and asked him whether I could come in for test drive. His answer was 'Hi man, just text me'. First off, I don't want to be called 'Man'; second if I am going to spend $70,000 on a car I need a sales person to say 'When is a good time?', not 'Text me'. And just to be clear he was not busy at the car show; I found him when he was free. So, Sears Imports has pretty much lost a potential customer because of Mr. Nazhad's careless behavior. Suffice it to say I threw his business card in the trash as I walked out of the auto show. Learn some manners to sell luxury cars; 'Hi man, text me'. What a joke!

Had a great experience, Soroush was really helpful and provided great suggestions! The car I was looking at, I actually opted for a different model because it offered more of what I wanted. They act like you re obligated to do business with them and they are not understanding whatsoever and they have extremely horrible customer service! Dec 14th i purchased a new 2013 E350 from Sears Imports, the vehicle was a executive return car so it had about 6500 miles on it. The sales process went quite smooth however a few details were skipped in the beginning as well as a few follow up calls were not made as promised while i working out the details on my purchase on this vehicle. The delay in follow up put me at risk of losing the vehicle as they didn't hold the car and put it back on the lot when i was there the night prior and asked if they needed funds to hold and they stated no dont worry about it. However everything got taken care of and i am very happy with my purchase. The management team at Sears is TOP NOTCH they have always been willing to take care of any needs or concerns that come up in a very timely manner. The service dept. is the best i have ever encountered at any dealer i have ever been to. they always greet you with a smile and truly make me feel as though i am a valued customer and they are happy to help me... I recommend Sears Imports to all my friends and family. Give them a try and if you have concerns or questions ask for Mike or Gary i can tell they are there to help out and make sure the customer is happy.. i feel the only negative part of my experience is not normal practice for them as everything seemed to be spot on. I look forward to further business with Sears.

only recommendation is slightly more flexible hours with car wash as they close well before a standard working day is done for most.

What a weird experience. Minneapolis Audi down the road has always been so nice and accommodating (for the past 10 years). I went to Feldmann Mercedes after Sears and had a great experience. Sears is just so out-of-place. Anyway, I went to Sears three times while shopping for my E-Class Coupe that I ended up buying elsewhere. Each time I went to Sears they were very condescending and seem intent on convincing me that I didn't know what I'm talking about whether it was features, prices, or anything else (they are consistently higher priced than KBB and TrueCar averages). I'm relatively young and each time older folks walked in they would drop their conversation with me to help someone who I assume they thought was wealthier. There are three Mercedes dealers in the cities, why treat customers badly when it is so easy to go elsewhere?

What an amazing experience. Sears creates a completely different buying experience from other dealerships. I don t believe I signed a single paper document. Everything was done either through email using DocuSign or at the dealership on their digital desktop in the finance office. The days of spending two hours purchasing a new vehicle are long gone with Sears. I worked with Sarah Britney on the sales team and OMG she went above and beyond. She found the perfect vehicle for my family and she was amazing to work with. She made my wife and I feel like family. I highly recommend Sears and Sarah to anyone in search of a new or used luxury vehicle.

I never give 5 stars for anything, but these guys deserve it! After a horrible experience just trying to get someone to acknowledge me at the other Mercedes dealer across town, these guys were simply fantastic! They found me the car that I wanted, treated me respectfully and gave me a fair deal on it. Nick, my rep was great! He had excellent follow through and was really pleasant to deal with. They made the whole process easy and nice. On top of that, it was really fun to pick up my car! If you are going to buy a Mercedes in Minneapolis metro area, go here. I live on the opposite side of town and it is worth the drive.

I specifically chose this shop to repair my Mercecdes after it got rear ended, because I care about my car and was expecting to get the outstanding service that I get from the Mercedes dealership. I was wrong. I never felt I was welcomed, the shop did not communicate with me well, did not reply my email, did not answer my questions. When I brought this up, the person works there said he needed to talk with the insurance adjuster, not me. Yes, I saw the big fat check you received from the insurance company on your file when you asked me to sign the paper without showing me what you have done, how my car looks and turned out. You only care about the money that you made because I chose you. And btw, yes the car looks fine, I am not saying you did a poor job on repairing my car, but it is your specialty, just like all other collision shops do, and you got paid for your work, so I don't know if you should be praised for it.

I ran over a nail about 9:30, October 2; it occurred about 2 miles from my home; I drove my ML 350 home with enough tire pressure. I immediately called Mercedes-Benz Roadside Assistance; the technician was at my home to fix the tire in 10 minutes. Since I was leaving town that morning, I appreciated the rapid response from Roadside Assistance through Sears Imported Autos. The technician fixed the tire on the spot and I was able to travel with minimal interruption. He was also very friendly and explained everything. Great response from Mercedes.

We were searching for a car for our son and had visited several other dealerships without success either because of unreasonable vehicle price or dealership personnel sales conduct. Nick Wahl met us at the door and treated us with courtesy and respect throughout the transaction. When Nick found out we were buying the car for or son's graduation from high school and his trip to college, Nick went the extra mile to decorate the car with a sign for some pictures for our son. This star is give to my best seller, Boris! But, to let s me give the star to the service manager then I definitely give negative point if I can! Bought the car for three months and the fuel pump broke. I drop my car at the Mercedes Bloomington dealer because I scare can t make it to Wayzata. After that I also called into the Wayzata dealer to find anyone can help my problem. But, all I got is transfer my call. I feel bad to bother my seller, but I had no option left so I called him. Then, I end up with making appointment with the manager in that dealer (service and user car). Bring me and my mom into a room that they sat on the table and we sat on the chair. Is there any respect customer???? Can I ask!!??? But, after a moment I tried to explain my problem. All they did is asking back whatever I said! REALLY?!?! that s how they call respect and finding solution!!!!!! I heard a good recommendation from my uncle about the good service of seller but not the MANAGER! There is AN NO for come back! (If you wanna ask for respect from someone then you need to be respect first!) End!!!!!

We bought our second ML350 from Sears and their service has been top notch. Great people to deal with, no game playing on prices, and prompt service when needed. The free car wash whenever we stop by is a special perk.

Now be bought our third ML350....they make it so easy....we spent more time learning how to drive it than doing the paperwork. This is how we should be able to buy a car--everything on time and ready, no hassles, and totally professional. Why would anyone buy a car elsewhere?

Sep 2013- Just came in for an 'A' service.....all on time, loaner car was ready, coffee was hot, cookies were fresh, and my car was nicely washed before they handed it back....how refreshing to have this top quality service.

Sears went above and beyond both in terms of ease and value. They are so easy to work with, accommodating and thorough. I have purchased two cars from Sears, but have only needed service once. It was the best service experience I have had from a shop in the 25+ years I have owned cars.
The staff works together to provide a simple experience, finish on time, and clearly communicate expectations - which they then exceed.
They are my new home for all things cars!

Very welcoming environment, everybody was helpful, John Mulligan, he went beyond what I expected from a sales guy. He listened to what I needed in a car, the price range and financing. He was very respectful and was patient with me as I sent back & forth trying to decide on different things about the car. Additionally, he stayed late waiting for me because I had to go there after work, he arranged a ride to the dealership the day I picked up the car and gave me a beautiful Mercedes-Benz coffee mug.

I bought a used Escalade here. Entry in to the dealership was a bit icy, as I have never been greeted or welcomed by the receptionist on any of my visits. Once past that barrier I have been treated respectfully and properly as a customer. I would like this dealership to know that on many previous occasions I have been "prequalified" by the sales staff in dealerships. This happens to me so often that many times I will decide to come straight from work, in my blues and see if anyone will talk to me. Lots of times I walk in one door, stroll throught the showroom and out the other door. This nearly happened here, but Valerie salvaged it quickly. She is a STELLAR salesperson and did everything she promised she would, right down to cleaning up a spot the detailers missed. The service department was not capable of repairing the deficiencies of the vehicle to my satisfaction, but the truck is still under factory warranty, so the local GM dealership has taken care of all our isues. The loaner car we were given, however, was NOT road worthy! All in all a decent transaction with an exceedingly picky customer. Would I buy another Cadillac here? Maybe not. Would I a buy a Mercedes here? Quite likely yes.

I've always driven Mercedes but never went to a dealer because I had a few bad thoughts about buying from a dealership. I stopped by to ask a couple questions after going far north to look at a Mercedes SUV that I found on craigslist. I was frustrated and decided to get off the highway, knowing I couldn't afford a SUV off the lot. Boy was I wrong. I meet Brian, he instantly made me feel comfortable. Brian explained everything to me, letting me know that my thoughts for years was wrong about dealerships. Brian spent about 2 hours with me. By the time I left there this man had me laughing and feeling like I could someday have a new one off the lot. Brian worked so hard with me and kelp it so real with me that today I feel like I have a new friend. I loved his uplifting sprit and how he worked so hard for me.
Thanks Mercedes and Brian for the best service ever. Dorsey H. JR I almost forgot to tell you that I ended up driving away that same day in my new SUV and thanks to Brian I still had a couple thousand dollars in my pocket. Bottom line-forget what you thought about dealerships. If you're looking for a nice ride and not get ripped off, go see Brian Podgorski at

I chose Sears Imported Autos for my new E350 specifically because of the outstanding service I had received in the past from their Service Department.

The Express Service now offered for routine maintenance is a plus. They were even able to replace an interior switch without requiring an additional appointment.

My advisor, Josh Miller, was professional, informative and courteous.

All of the work was completed in a timely manner and covered under my warranty.

As a Mercedes lover, I would recommend to all owners to take advantage of the extended warranty offer and keep your vehicle in the best condition possible. My old Mercedes had high mileage and was in beautiful shape when I replaced it.

I was truly pleased with the service on my mercedes at Sears Imported Autos. Tyler was quite the help from the minute I pulled into service. He really represents customer service to the fullest. I have bought cars at Sears since 1986 and have always had my cars serviced here. They have always had great service, but this last time went far and above their normal 5 star treatment. My service manager was Josh M. and he saved me time and money which anyone can appreciate. He told me about a special that mercedes was running and walked me through the package and why it was good for me. I bought the package, left my car, and when I picked it up, it was clean, washed, and serviced. I really feel that Sears is looking out for me and I thank you. If I could give them 6 stars (out of 5 stars), I would!

One of the smoothest car buy experiences I have had! We have been looking for a car for and found the perfect one in their used inventory. It was incredibly clean and well taken care of. The car was inspected and came with a warranty. Eric was very helpful and friendly. We brought our newborn with and everyone made sure that we were taken care of in a timely manner. They also had the car washed and detailed before we left.

I would definitely recommend Sears and Eric for anyone looking for a quality vehicle.

I wanted to express how impress I am about the service here. My sales associate was Brian Podgorski. He helped me a little over a year ago to get my GLK350 smoothy and efficiently. If I ever had any questions, he's always very eager to help and always very polite as well. Today, I came into Sears Auto Import for a regular maintenance and as I was waiting in the lobby, he walked by and remembered me even thought it's been a year and offered kind regards and as usual, kindly extended me his services if needed. The service staff were all very quick and kind as well. All in all, I have nothing but good things to say! If you need a car, this is the place to come to feel special!

This is out of pure frustration with their servicing department, I am posting this review. Right after I got my Car, I took it for a check, I got a loaner. They literally lost my car in the lot 5 different people went to look for and never came back. Finally the manager located it. Fast forward after 4 months, I called in to schedule my maintenance and the uneducated department gave me wrong information and now I am without any service. Just some fancy people who knows absolutely nothing about the product, services and absolutely zero knowledge about the process.

Service people ran a test and found the my driver'...

Service people ran a test and found the my driver's door window regulator needed to be replaced because the window doesn't come to close completely. We decided to close the window and disable the control button to keep the window closed all the time.
After their work the SRS indicator light comes up right after I started the car at the shop and it stays there. Two days later I called the service and they said they need to charge me $150 to diagnose the system. After some research I believe they messed something while working on my window's issue.

Will never go to this place for service.

et me start off by saying I do not work for Sears imported autos. The day we looked at the cars, it was one of the coldest of the winter. We had to buy a car pretty quickly, as we were making a move to NJ. We worked with Dave Tobin. We have 2 children under the age of 2. The car was going to be for my wife, and needed 3 rows. We thought we were going to buy a Chevy Tahoe. We were wrong!! We showed up at Sears with car seat in hand. Dave had moved to the comfort of the indoors 3 cars for us. The Tahoe, Mercedes GL450, Land Rover LR3. He let us put the cars to the test. We quickly ruled out the LR3. The Tahoe was great, car seat in and out many times, great 3rd row of seating, done deal in my mind lets go. We drove the Mercedes to be polite, no way could we afford it even being used. My wife and I fell in love with the car right away, that's the one we wanted. The one we drove had a little higher mileage than we wanted. Keep in mind we are moving to NJ, and Dave knew this. Dave did some looking and could not find us a GL450 in our price range. He was great, gave us all the time we wanted and then some, he also had other buys at the dealership he was working with that afternoon. We left Sears without a car, and there was no pressure or hard feeling. BUT WAIT. 2 weeks later, Dave called me, asked if we were still in town, he had a great car for us. We were already set to meet a dealer from southern MN. with a GL450 that was perfect. We had one hour before the car was set to leave the other dealership. Dave said you must see this car. So off to Sears we went. He was right!!! Perfect in every way, spotless, low mileage and we got a great price!!! Still look at these cars online from time to time. We called off the other dealership and left with our new but slightly used Gl450. I cannot express all that Dave did for me and my family. New head phones and remote for dvd, and so on. For all Dave Tobin knew we were kicking tires and moving to NJ where we would buy the car. The entire staff at Sears made us feel welcome and that we mattered to them. Not sure we were there regular customer. Dave is a ROCK STAR. Oh ya, I almost forgot, I drove the car from MN to NJ not a single issue. Not sure my wife will get the car, or I will. Thank you Sears imported autos, and Dave Tobin. A new loyal customer. C Jensen.

I truly enjoyed my experience with Eric at Mercedes-Minnetonka. He was beyond helpful and knowledgeable; great to work with. I d recommend him and/or the dealership to anyone. I also appreciated how much time I received in the learning about the vehicle before I drove it off-site. Overall wonderful experience. And I will be back in for a yummy free latte from the fancy coffee/espresso/latte machine!

I don t recommend this place and I wouldn t trust ...

I don t recommend this place and I wouldn t trust them with your car. I left my car with them for a day and now my car isn t drivable and is now dangerous. January 8, 2019 I came in for three recalls that was on my Mercedes c300. I came in with my service dog and they refuse to let me have a rental because they claim they sell their rentals as new cars. Although I knew my rights and by law, the ADA states that no company is aloud to treat any disability any differently and because of my service dog they can not refuse me but yet they did. I didn t want to argue so I rescheduled with my busy schedule and came back January 10, 2019. Overall Customer service seemed ok, had better experience with BMW to be honest. Rental guy was nice. I had a weird experience with the guy who was setting up my service. He stated that a few lights had shown up on my dashboard and I acknowledge that I knew about them and that they always change and I think it must be a fuse. Which it was. Then he said he can run some diagnostics on the car for free but charge 150 for another check. I kindly said no I only want to do what s free. Then he angry replied so you just want to leave and have nothing done to your car because that s free. I replied and said so I m not getting my airbags and other recalls checked? Then he calmed down and looked at the computer and replied oh yes that s right I forgot. Weird experience. Then we finished then I was sent to the rental guy who was actually the nicest experience. He made sure i understood everything and he was upbeat and friendly. After returning to pick up my car, the guy who set up my service came up to me and said I need to get my brakes checked and that they are really bad. Stated that you need to really push far down to brake. I did had a brake fluid check on that just appeared on January 7, 2019. I checked that day and the fluid was slightly low. I just needed to top off new fluid to the max line. But I didn t do that yet bc I didn t have any on hand and I knew I ll just do it after the recall services. But I know my car was driving fine first bringing it in. I don t know what they did but my car is now a sitting duck and I have to tow my car to another mechanic. I can t drive the car bc now my brakes don t even work at all. The brakes are acting completely different. It doesn t add up how just one day can cause such a big difference.

Lets see, where do i start??
I was gonna purchase this second benz in my life, A GL450. I couldn't believed what am i going thru.The whole experience with the dealership and the salesman- Larry, i felt like i was a prisoner getting interrogate. I mean are we talking about Mercedes benz? suppose to be a luxury dealership with good service. I guess thats not the case. They will force you to lease or trade in, if not you need to pay $10000 for some kind of hold? I have brought limited edition ferrai before, and i didn't even went thru this kind of service, knowing how straight Ferrai are for their Rare cars.
But this guys are something else, i guess they are afraid these car will be ship out the country? And i Guess they had automatically assume i will do that when they see my last name? YES, i am Chinese. but guess what. i'm have no interest to do so.

no wonder why Lexus had earn more business than benz. i guess at the end of the day. Lexus understand the true value of respecting the others and service.

I am very upset that racism is still around in these days. I guess at the end of the day when you try to buy something to push the economy, you race still matter.

Good job Sears Import, you had just helped me from buying Mercedes-Benz ever again
And i will not forget what kind of treatment that i got from you guys.

I recently switched dealerships for service on my GL450- and I couldn't be happier. The entire staff at Sears Imported Autos is very professional, knowledgeable, and just plain nice. The facility is definitely not a bad place to have to spend a bit of time either (I'm a mom escaping my kids!).
I love the fact that when I pull into the service center, an adviser is immediately at my car to greet me and take care of all my needs. Very courteous. I highly recommend!

I visited Sears Auto to check out a used Mercedes SUV. I was in contact with Justin Hagen. Although I liked the vehicle, it wasn't quite the right fit for me. After spending time helping me and making suggestions, I decided on a smaller model that is just right. They did not have exactly what I wanted so we built it on his computer and ordered it! Justin took the time to make sure I had just the vehicle for me, even down to my favorite color. I couldn't be happier.

This is the worst dealership I have ever set foot ...

This is the worst dealership I have ever set foot in. I have never had a more confusing drawn out service repair less than a week after buying my Mercedes from Sears. I have had to bring my certified pre-owned (which means nothing anymore) 2015 C300 back to Sears for a loud noise coming from the engine bay after a week of owning it. I was assured it would be taken care of until the next day when I received a phone call that they could not replicate it. So once again I take time out of my schedule to drive back out to Sears only to drive the car out of the service bay to hear the noise clear as day. I turned back into the service department to have a mechanic ride with me where he heard it right away. It has now been two business days without so much as an update from Sears about what is going on. At first I understood that things happen, but I have had to drive to Sears multiple times now just to make them understand my issue and have not received any word from them. While at the dealer the last time I spoke with Kent the manager who pretended to be concerned when I told him I was unhappy with the car. It seems I am stuck with the vehicle if I will ever get it back. We will see if I get an update on Monday but I am not holding my breath.

I am currently driving a E350 which we bought from Sears Imports. My last vehicle was also purchased from and serviced by Sears. My husband now also drives a vehicle purchased from Sears primarily based on our experience with the dealership. The service department has been wonderful and in the 5 years I have been taking my vehicles there I have never had a complaint. Everyone at the facility treats you with respect and makes you feel special. Who doesn't like that. Moreover, the quality of service has been out standing. I rarely have to wait more than a few minutes to drop off or pick up my car and it is always clean when I pick it up. If I decide to wait for the service to be completed, there is a nice lounge area to wait in with complementary beverages, cereal, bagels, etc.

Awesome representatives who are easy to approach and speak too if you're either a fan of Mercedes-Benz, or are simply looking to buy a high-end luxury car or even casual vehicle to scoot around in, it's a one stop-shop and we were impressed over the courtesy and politeness of their representatives (even compared to our own from our small community). We came out from the southwest corner of the state, and we were highly impressed with the professional attitude and knowledge with their vehicles; the layout of the dealership. It was well worth the trip to the cities... Thank you...

I purchased a pre-owned SL600 in spring 2013, and ...

I purchased a pre-owned SL600 in spring 2013, and problems occurred almost immediately after leaving the lot. Dash displayed a TPMS issue, so I brought it back to find out that sensors for this were never installed but I could add them for $200 per tire. Less than 3 mo/3,000 miles later a hydraulic suspension hose burst lowering the car to the ground, and replacement for this was nearly $3,000. Even after repair the mechanics were not able to clear the suspension error in the system.

Jump ahead another couple of months and I am roadside again, with a tire blowout due to an improperly mended cracked wheel. Sears was kind enough to cover replacement of this however. The water pump also failed shortly thereafter.

Over the next couple of years of ownership, I racked up quite a service history. Brake assist system failure and replacement, more suspension parts, interior and exterior door handles, folding roof mechanism, wheel bearings, battery, differential replacement, several other issues, and regular but expensive maintenance. Repairs and service exceeded 70% of the original purchase price (which was not cheap) and the warranty barely covered half of this.

With a total of 35 days in the shop and 5 roadside breakdowns over 3 years I did get pretty familiar with the new models and the loaner program, which was nice. But for the price I had to pay to keep this car drivable I could have hired a car service. Operating cost was over $2.50/mile for less than 17,000 miles, not including gas, tires and other consumables.

The car was a humiliating laughing stock at the office, and I actually feared driving it not only for my own safety but anticipating the next catastrophic repair. When I returned the car it was explained to me that it still needed at least $5,000 of work, but I had enough. The way I see it, either Sears Imports was aware of the many issues with this car and didn t disclose them, or did not thoroughly inspect and sort them out before purchase (maybe both). Neither explanation is acceptable. I will never again purchase a Mercedes-Benz product.

I think if you hurry you can still pick this one up! It s a blast to drive when it s working, but it will break your heart and wallet.
