Scott Clark Toyota on Independence Blvd is perhaps the most courteous, knowledgeable and professional business in Charlotte. From Sales Dept to Service Dept (especially Billy Carroll), my husband and I have been extremely satisfied and will purchase future automobiles there as well as send friends/family there. We love our Toyota Highlander and Toyota Tundra!!!! And we love Scott Clark Toyota.

Man is a king among salesmen. Bought 4 cars from him and he bent over backwards to get me what I wanted. True Gentlemen and a heck of a nice guy. Will give you a fair shake and the best deal on a new Toyota that you could ask for

We bought two vehicles from the same salesperson, ...

We bought two vehicles from the same salesperson, who was a hard worker and personable. The latest vehicle was July 2016. The issue is receiving the cancelled GAP insurance from the A/P department. We waited the allotted 6-8 weeks to receive. After 6 weeks, my husband called inquiring on the status. Left numerous messages with the Finance Department first with no response before getting in contact with A/P. The lady he spoke with finally found our paperwork buried under a mound of others waiting for their checks. She assured us that it was being put on top and would be sent out that following Thursday 9/1/16.

Today is 9/20/16, and we have yet to receive the check. I have left a voice mail for Jessica in A/P today, 12:10 PM for her call me back today with a status of this check. I expect a call back with a check number and tracking number of when the check was mailed. This is very unprofessional and based on previous feedback on service during and after the sale of this dealership - I don't see how you are still in business.

First time serviced by Scott Clark for oil change. The pricing and specials they offered me were exceptional. And if you go by the Service Department, ask for Pete Acree. Top notch and timely!

I just bought a new 2013 Tacoma from Scott Clark. I really enjoyed working with Rob Van Alstyne- he's a super friendly, knowledgeable guy who will work hard to make a sale. Rob and the sales manager were able to beat Town and Country Toyota by $50 a month on a 3 year lease for the exact same truck.

I'm not even going to justify wasting too much time writing my experience with this dealership. I can already see by other low reviews the manager tries blaming customer's for their one star reviews which is a bad sign to begin with.

I will start with that they need to learn to listen better to their customers. Rule number one in sales is listen to your customer. I had a simple request by coming in and requested the prearranged costco auto no haggle price on a vehicle (which I initiated online at costco's website). They wanted way too much personal info (which I gave any way), tried over four times to get me to test drive, wanted to run my credit, wasted over 40 minutes of my time with their high pressure sales (he was both insulting and rude throught the process). And when it came down to the price they never showed me the actual costco pricing sheet. Instead he had HAND WRITTEN the "costco price" and didn't honor the additional toyota savings (costco has a very specific pricing sheet that you can see on their website). As many times as I had to patiently wait for them to give me the costco price (which keep in mind is prearranged) I could have walked out but was invested by driving over 30 miles to begin with. Their sales guy actually told me there is no pricing sheet (which is a lie). After I told him this wasn't the experience I was expecting and that I was leaving he told me that he would get the pricing sheet (which he just told me didn't exist). I ended up walking out at this point.

I spoke with costco about my experience and they confirmed that what they showed me is not proper procedure. They connected me with another dealership that honored the additional toyota savings and beat this dealership's quote by an additional 5%.

Its evident that this dealership is using costco to muster up business but isn't honoring the program. Instead they are luring people in and pocketing savings which should be the customer's. I'm sure this review won't drive away any business but if they keep this kind of business up, my story won't be the only one. Costco needs to sever their relationship with this place.

PS. If any manager asks me to call in about the situation, I have no desire. You guys have ALL of my personal info and know who helped me.
This review is all I care to share and am done here. Go ahead and let me know how this is all my fault. Rest assured you will not be getting my business ever. Good luck in trying to rip people off!

A few months ago they did service on my car. Right around the holiday season. I had a brand new Brahmin in dust bag in my truck. It was a Christmas gift for my client.
Toyota called and asked if they could put spare tire on my trunk. I said yes if they were willing to take things out of my trunk and put them back. No one else has been in my car. I also on another vehicle and didn t drive the toyota as much. Only to work. A week before Christmas I noticed the bag wasn t in the trunk. I called Wesley and left several messages. He never returned my call. I left it alone.
I recently had oil change at another Toyota Dealer. The service guy came and towed me that I needed a few things done. I told him that I just had those services done in Mathews. He then left and came back with extremely dirty filters. He said that he can see in the computer where I paid for it and there was no way that they could have changed my filter and it looked like this fast. I called Wesley immediately. Left message on work phone and his cell. Days went by and never called back. I called the Gm and her returned my call the next day. I explained to him what happened. He asked if he could have Wesley call me back. I said sure. Wesley called me back minutes later and said he didn t receive any of my calls. Not even months ago. Wesley then asked if he could call me back on Tuesday after reviewing the camera footage and that he would be able to see who took the bag and if my filter was changed. Nothing on Tuesday.
Today is Thursday and Wesley texted me saying that he didn t see where they took my bag out of my trunk and they changed my filter. I know that he wouldn t tell me if they did take my bag or they didn t perform the services I paid for. GOD knows the truth. I m done with the Mathews location. They can t be trusted.

Terrible Experience! We will not do business with this dealership again. After we decided we were interested in purchasing a used Highlander, we negotiated price with the manager, Steven Carrasquillo. After hours of negotiations (which was 95% sitting around waiting for a response), we came to an agreement and shook hands. However, the price on the forms for us to sign was not what we had just agreed upon, and this happened 3 more times (all in the dealership s favor). Read all your paperwork very carefully! After we signed, returned home, and reviewed the rest of the paperwork, we noticed another discrepancy in our trade-in value. We went back to the dealership where Steven acknowledged the discrepancy and told us that he just needed the signature of someone who was in a meeting until 3pm, but we would definitely be receiving a call from him by 3pm that day. The call never came and we are tired of fighting with these people to uphold the agreement they shook on (multiple times). I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. If you choose to do so, make sure you review every piece of paperwork for accuracy!

By far the quickest and easiest car buying experience I've ever had. Our salesman Travis Clark is the man! I would recommend anyone to check out Scott Clark Toyota before going anywhere else.

In February 2011 decided it was time for a new car, my third Camry. Went to Scott Clark's Toyota, found exactly the car i wanted, a white Camry SE. After some debate about the price that I wanted to pay a manager came over and told the sales persons to take the deal, as I was paying cash for my car. The service department had my car ready to go in 45 minutes.
About 2 weeks later got an email from Scott Clarks Toyota saying, "heard you were in the market for a new car, we would be glad to help you find one. I had just purchased a new car from them and they did'nt even know it!! I never had a follow up on the purchase of my car or an email saying thanks for buying a car from us. I know they are a big company, but it is the car buyer who keeps them going. Just saying....
Last week I got a phone call from a salesman named Dominick, works at Scott Clark's Toyota, He wanted to know how everything was going with my Camry that I purchased 2 yrs. ago. Do you think he wants me to come and trade with them again!

I made a vehicle purchase in the summer of 2019, Mike and Rashid helped me find the perfect suv for me and my three godsons. I was comfortable all the way to the end when I left with my Infiniti. They made sure I had all the options I wanted plus some but what truly made things special is when they reached out to me to check on things and asked how my boys doing. Thanks Mike and Rashid and Merry Christmas.

So far so good. Nathan is a super good sales person. The absolute very best I've ever dealt with. Highly recommend him as a sales person, if you are looking for an honest car salesman. Give that guy a raise. The experience in all has been very good. But really, he made the ride well worth it. I cant say enough on his behalf. My best pal is going to go do business with him now. Yep, he is really that good. Thanks Nathan, for treating me right

Service is ok because I go to the same service advisor, however I have noticed it declining. I was recommended to have work done that was not needed and at a ridiculous price. My daughter went into Service to see if the headlight on her Avalon she bought from SC had a short because it went out for the 2nd time in 6 months. they told her no, it was just the bulb. One week after that visit the headlight was back on in a week then off and on again.
I was interested in buying another toyota, even talked to the salesman (Matt) told him what I wanted. I've owned 4 toyotas, buying 2 from Scott Clark. It would have to be ordered. Never got a call back from him. I wasted hours in the dealership. He was only interested in selling from the lot and never followed up or called me back. a salesman never calling back??!! that is unheard of!!! Dont waste my time, tell me you cant help me and i will gladly go someplace else. Guess I'll be going to a different dealership.
2nd note. even the person that called me about this comment hasn't bothered to call me back after returning his call twice!!!

Barbara was very professional, helpful and knowledgeable. She made turning in our 2011 Highlander and leasing a 2013 Highlander as stress free as possible (knowing all the dealer horror stories).
Barbara was also there to help when we picked up the vehicle and I was pleasantly surprised when a couple of days later she called to make sure we were happy with the vehicle.
I would definitely recommend buying a vehicle from Barbara at Scott Clark.

Kenneth and George great guys no pressure kept it real and straight forward with the whole deal didn't sweat putting in all the work to make the deal work. I will recommend them to everybody looking to buy a new car. #birddog

I specifically told them I needed GAP insurance. I chose not to have extended warranty because I couldn't afford both. I have been paying for maintenance on my car. I wrecked my car 2 weeks ago and found out the hard way that I didn't have GAP. But I did have extended warranties. I would have given no star if I could. Check your paperwork people. I was very clear about wanting GAP insurance! The vehicle was purchased in my daughter's name, Sierra McCall.

My low score to scott Toyota is directed to the service department. I purchased a vehicle 2 1/2 months ago with an extended warranty. Just recently found a defect in the soft top of my Jeep Wrangler. The service department did not want to honor my extended warranty to pay for the defect. They sighted that this was a problem that was on the Jeep prior to my purchase. This is to me I not customer service. I was asked to pay for half of the cost of something that should ve been covered by the warranty. I am not happy with this service to say the least.

Yeah so they sell you a messed up car pretty much, and they make you wait like crazy. Go to a prestigious dealer like Hendrick Lexus. Manager doesnt put importance to a repeated customer. They said there was no way somwthing could be done. Long story short, Henrick Lexus could. Before you buy a car they are so generous but when you buy, attitude changes completely

The service I receive is always top notch...from service to rental to cashier. Archie is hands down the best service manager. He makes sure I'm well taken care no matter what the situation. I fully trust him to provide the best guidance regarding needed repairs.

Almost felt like a waste of time if it wasn't for ...

Almost felt like a waste of time if it wasn't for nice salesperson we've met at the dealership. Prior to coming for a scheduled test drive, the vehicle couldn't found on the website the night before so I gave them a call, only to found out that it's been sold before I could come in. It would have been nice if someone was bother to inform me. I came in anyway because there was a similar model that I could try out at the dealership. Our salesman - Clark Bush did a great job on interacting with customers and was tremendously helpful. Things only go downhill when the manager was involved. We had an ideal price in mind and the dealership had theirs, which was around $300 less that the price they have set. We started to negotiate but both sides were unable to reach an agreement on pricing and another dealership had already reached out to me to consider one of their their vehicles. The manager was pulling all the information he could to show us what a good of a deal it was, in fact, the deal WAS good, but it wasn't something me and family was ready to go through. So I kindly informed them that we were going to another dealership to look at their vehicle and will get back to them whether or not to make a final decision. As I reach for the pricing sheet on the table, the manager pulled it back with an attitude and told me if we were to come back, no negotiation would take place and we'll buy the car at whatever price it was set at. We originally planned to come back for that car even if it was only for $300 off because Clark was so kind and helpful.
But seriously?
Buying a car is not the kind of decision one can make easily in a heartbeat without considering all options and their financial situation. Being handled in such an unprofessional way by someone with experience was not pleasant. A couple of years back we came to Scott Clark for the first time, met a great sales guy as well, and the same manager was also involved. We were practically "held hostage" for nearly 3 hours because all he wanted to do was to sell the car. Hadn't it been for the attitude, we would have been willing to talk. The conversation should have been handled better.
Now my family wouldn't even consider coming back.

I can t express just how much you should stay AWAY from this dealership. If this is what getting a new car is like I don t want any part of it.

They lied to me at every turn. Were not able to put me in the car I wanted. In their attempts to make the deal better they lied and refused to admit their mistakes. If at any point in this deal they had said Hey, you re right. We re sorry. I would have let it ALL go. I m a pretty understanding guy. But I m now trading in my car to another dealership to get a HIGHER PAYMENT AND LOWER TRIM LEVEL just so I don t have to deal with this dealership anymore. That s how TERRIBLE this experience has been with them. They couldn t even finalize the deal correctly. And it s been a month. Even the other Toyota dealership I went to to try and get more information on the situation, couldn t get in contact with them. We got a voicemail NINE times. And on top of it all I was told and this is a DIRECT quote, If you give us a good review, we would be more inclined to give you better service. This came from a MANAGER. On one of the FEW calls I received, I could hear the Finance Manager from my deal ACTUALLY talking about me with very non-family oriented language. Then proceeded to say they asked me to come in and that I never did. Even though that NEVER happened. I was told they would send someone out but needed to find a driver and would call me back. I didn t hear from them again for 2 weeks. I could keep going an lay out a detailed timeline of the entire experience but I m honestly so tired of even thinking about it.

So for the sake of your sanity, wallet, and feelings towards being treated like an actual person, DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP.

I came to Scott Clark with my daughter. She was looking for a used Tacoma that was advertised online. I had called ahead and spoke to Jose Hernandez, the internet salesman, and when we got to the showroom, the truck was parked out front and Jose was ready to take care of us. He was very professional, described the features of the truck, came with us on the test drive and then worked with my daughter to finalize the deal. Here's the true testimony- I called from a different dealership while my daughter was talking to a salesperson about a Tacoma from their internet site. That salesman was not professional from the beginning. From apologizing for his tuna and onion lunch (yes, we could tell) to running an errand on our test drive to telling us that if we didn't finalize a deal right then and there, we basically were wasting not only his time but the time of all the others in the dealership who have interest in the transaction.
My daughter was looking for only a few things: she wanted a Tacoma 4 door, 4 wheel drive and wanted to keep payments under $320. While she ended up spending more than planned, she left with a beautiful, clean, fabulous truck, a wonderful warranty on the truck by the dealership and absolutely no buyers remorse. It was a good experience and she and I will both recommend Scott Clark Toyota in the future.
Did I mention that Jose was supposed to leave at 8:30-? (we decided to come after leaving the other dealership instead of the next morning- he mentioned that he would only be in until 8:30) he stayed until after 11 helping complete the transaction. He was very pleasant and easy to work with. It's easy to see why he is a Toyota Pro!

Great overall experience. Was ready to trade in my existing Toyota of 13 years. Had great experience with Wes in service who went through current and future maintenance needs. Once I decided it was time to move into a new vehicle, Kannon spent hours answering questions and doing test drives across many model. Working with Travis to finalize the process and pricing was the best experience I have had in my many, many years of purchasing cars. Made it simple and provided all the information I needed to make a confident decision. Will be coming back to Scott Clark again for any future needs.

Definitely exceeded expectations! I have been driving Toyota's for the past 25 years. I have worked with dealerships in RI,Texas, SC and now NC. While the majority of the experiences were positive, none compared to the customer service at Scott Clark. I asked to drive 3 vehicles/one twice and definitely required more patience and attention at this stage of my life. Thank you Bruce Case for providing the most pleasant experience when shopping for a vehicle. I love my new Highlander! The whole team was professional and demonstrated the same level of expertise as Bruce. ( James, Hunter, Wes and Abby) I will recommend you to my family, friends and co-workers.

Went in for my 10k mile oil change and the woman that took my info was as sweet as can be and very professional. As I waited for my tacoma, Wynonna is her name, to get her oil changed...I went and checked out the other tacoma beauties. As I was drooling over a TRD off-road, I slipped on my drool and hit the ground with such force that it hurt my knee bunches!! At that moment with the sun in my eyes a figure appears with a hand reaching from its own shadow.....it was a Yota mechanic ! This man knew everything different between the different tacoma 4x4 models and educated me with such precision and pizzazz!! I now know which beauty to take home next time because we got inside each one and learned every little curve the beauties had ! Anyway, then got a call from same sweet lady from before and went to get my keys to Wynonna, we talked and joked for a moment until I saw this blonde beauty working there walking by with the strut of a gorgeous gazelle on Serengeti plains just waiting to be stalked by a hungry lion!! But she caught me checking her out and gave me the biggest most gorgeous smile ever so I panicked and decided to withdraw from the hunt!! I told the sweet lady Melissa that I must depart and got up inside Wynonna and hit the road in search of hot chow and cold drinks!! It was an amazing experience that I will never forget!! I can't wait to visit Melissa, Mechanic Man, and the beauty of a blonde in 5k more miles!! Good job Scott!!

Overall experience was great!!! Katelyn explained what maintenance would be performed and the approximate time necessary to complete work.
She informed me of 2 filters that needed to be replaced which I declined. The original maintenance was performed within the timeframe stated.
I asked Katelyn to provide me with the mileage and date my maintenance program expires. She located the information in a manner of minutes. Katelynn deserves a 10 for her customer service skills!!!

Very disappointed in Scott Clark Toyota. I purchased my 2016 Tundra last March after having the vehicle for over a year and brining it in for normal service, a salespersons asked if I would look at up grading to a 2017. I stated I would be interested in refinancing and also purchasing a new RAV4 for my wife. After going back and forth with the normal dealership dealings, we settled on a price. After my credit was pulled, I was given a different term and payment amount. I understand this can happen because predicted credit is not the same as actual credit. However, this is where Scott Clark Failed me, they now had the exact credit numbers and should have been able to give me an exact deal. They came back three different times with three different numbers. It appeared to me to be stereotypical dealership scams! They kept trying to get me to take a deal that would benefit than the most and didn't work to get the best deal upfront for me. They passed me from one person to another and I ultimately felt I could not trust them and stopped trying to buy from them. I will not bring my Tundra back for services and I will definitely not be making my RAV4 purchase through them.

Have been servicing my car here since 2014 and have never had problems. They do great work at a fair price, granted all they've done for me is basic servicing. Marshall usually ends up with my car and he always takes care of things.

Two bad things: One thing is that the company they use to gather reviews about your service are kind of annoying and overeager to schedule your next appointment. Its kind of ridiculous to schedule your next maintenance service 5 days after you've had your last one. The 2nd one is that they stopped serving donuts in the morning

Im moving to SC soon and while there is a Toyota dealership nearby, if i don't like them, i would not think twice about driving up to service it here.

Typical dealership you can get work done a little cheaper somewhere else but there customer service has always been excellent, i have never had any issues with any of the work there mechanics have done since we bought our car in 2015. They provide a comfy waiting area with plenty of seating, wifi and grill where you can eat while waiting.

I took my 95 year old mother to Scott Clark Toyota because she decided she wanted a new car! I called ahead to give some requests for the sales person who would help her: patience , respect , directing the conversation toward my mother even though I was also going to be there. When we arrived Clark Bush was our guy. He was wonderful! Mom is deliriously happy with her sapphire blue 2020 Yaris hatchback. I believe the dealership was fair to her, she s happy, and I would certainly recommend checking them out if you re in the market for a new car.

I had an amazing experience! I worked with Chris Carney and will continue to come back to see him whenever I need a car. He made sure not only were my needs met in a car, but the things I wanted as well. Chris made this process so smooth and as a first time buyer i couldn t be more thankful!

I took my 4Runner in for a 60k service. My adviser, Crystal, reminded me of a recall that needed to be taken care of, she got me a vehicle to drive for the day, and got me on my way quickly and with a smile. Overall, it was a great experience and hassle free. I ll definitely come back for future service needs.

I went in to take a look at a pre-owned car. My finance bought a new 4 Runner here last year and is very happy with his purchase so I knew the people here would be very helpful. During COVID you do need to make an appointment. Unfortunately, we did not have an appointment but Orlando was able show us what was available. From the get go, Orlando treated me like a friend and never in the sales process did I feel pressured or like I was being pushed one way or another. In the end of the afternoon we decided to purchase the car. Of course it took some time but everyone was very friendly and helpful. Orlando when out of his way to make sure I found the right car for me and had everything I wanted.

My husband and I went to Scott Clark Toyota on Friday, July 14th and arrived at 5:30pm as we were very interested in an SUV they were selling. I called to make an appointment the day before with Clark Bush, sales rep, and received multiple calls and emails to confirm our appointment. Upon arrival, we checked in at the reception desk to let her know we were there to see him and we waited for about 10 minutes while we watched him get him, carry on conversations with other sales reps, walk back and forth and then come over to greet us. The SUV was ready for us to test drive and then upon return to the dealership, the numbers game and I mean game began. We had a trade-in and did not want to put any money down, which they worked out, however, each time Clark came back to talk us - approximately 5-6 times, the number went up on our payment and he kept asking for our address several times after we completed the credit application and they had already pulled our information. After getting so frustrated with the deal, we were ready to walk out and the Finance Manager came over to explain (of course) and we proceeded with the deal. They promised to clean up the vehicle (there was so much dirt and dust in the carmats and in the car, it was pathetic and they did fill up the gas tank as promised. We asked for a 2nd key fob for the car (which on 7/18, Clark says - oh you have to come in on Mondays between 9am - 3pm to get that) and I stated you never told us we had to come in. We get to the Finance person finally around 10pm Friday night (a Mr. Farmer) and he was very nice, however, we are still waiting on a call back from him as he stated he would call us on Saturday (7/15) to let us know if he could work out better payments with the bank. Of course, we called and left voice mails, and still have not heard from him. WE called again on 7/18 and kept being transferred to the finance dept and the person would pick up the phone and tell me we had the wrong number!!! I called again and was transferred to the Finance Director? and left her a voice mail, and still have not heard back. I called Clark on 7/18 to find about the key and the remote control to the standard DVD system does not work - even after we replaced the batteries. This is a shady, shady dealership and we expected better so today I called the Infiniti dealership and paying to have the SUV checked out as we do not trust Scott Clark dealership and will have to pay $187.00 for a 2nd remote and maybe a new DVD remote. THEY SUCK!!!!!!!! WE still don't know who to send the car payment to as it is on the paperwork, but no phone number!!! What kind of S***** is this!!!! Don't do business with them!!!!!

I bought a truck last weekend. There was some confusion around the vehicle history, but I was able to resolve that by calling the service department. I also received a follow up call to apologize for the confusion and to address any additional concerns. They are clearly invested in customer satisfaction. This is the first place I will look when it's time to buy my next vehicle.

My wife and I purchased a new Highlander from Scott Clark and could not be more happy with their customer service. The GM, Salesperson, finance office and service did a great job! We had some issues in the beginning but after talking with them they bent over backwards to make sure we were satisfied and happy with our purchase. Scott Clark Toyota is friendly, helpful, and clean -- making for a pleasant visit. The service is efficient and thorough and applies to what needs to be done without buying the farm.
I have relied on Crystal Kush for several years. Sue and I feel that she takes a special interest in our automotive needs, and that makes it a joy to come in for servicing.
I also buy my cars with Scott Clark!

I recently purchased a used BMW from this dealer, my salesperson was Jacques Deadwiley. After I had done all the paperwork and was getting in the car to leave he tells me that the owners manual and the spare key was missing and the previous owner was bringing them to him and he would mail them to me.I was not happy about this since I had already signed the "WE OWE" slip with nothing on it, this meant I was solely relying on Jacques word!
Now 27 days later he has mailed me a print out of the owners manual which he printed on one side so it is about 2 inches thick, needless to say it does not fit in the glove box and is worth about as much as the paper it is printed on. As far as the key is concerned he left me a voicemail saying he now hopes his client brings it in.

I have done some research and found out that when the car was made they programe 10 keys for the car and they are stored in a warehouse and you can only get them thru a BMW dealership for the low low price of $300.00 and the only place I have found a manual is on ebay for $100.00

He knew I was on a tight time frame since I had a long drive home and took advantage of that.
Bad news is I got screwed out of $400.00 The good news is I love the car!

I really do hope he makes good on his word but so far "not feeling it"

Drove from Chapel Hill to check out a 2012 Accord coupe, Daniel Durst was the sales rep and answered any questions that I had, never felt pressured, enjoyed the test drive and meeting another 69 Camaro owner. If I find myself in the market for another vehicle will check Scott Clark dealership and DJ first. Love the car.

Buying my new Highlander at Scott Clark Toyota was an excellent experience. Johnnie Fluker took great care of me and is extremely easy to work with. Aaron Wolter handled the Finance side and provided excellent service and I was in and out with no hassles and in a timely manner. End to end there was no pressure and everything happened smoothly and efficiently with no long waits. Overall an outstanding car buying experience!

Between my husband and I, we have probably made 15 car purchases in our lives. This one was by far the best and most pleasurable experience we've ever had. The professionalism of the staff and the respect, concern and personalized service they provide to their customers is outstanding. This wasn't your typical car buying experience where a guy who'd sell his mom's kidney to make a buck is trying to shove an overpriced car down your throat. Our salesman, Roy Hamilton, our finance manager, Michelle Gustafson, and the general manager, Jim Cline, went above and beyond to listen to our concerns and needs and made sure that we not only bought just what we needed and wanted but gave us a superior deal on both the new vehicle we purchased and the car we traded in. Trust me - I did my research and homework. We got the best deal ever, went through the transaction in record time and walked out with big smiles on our faces and completely happy with the service and the deal we got. We drove almost 3 hours to visit the dealership because our local dealer is unsavory. I told Jim that I would gladly drive it for all of our future car purchases. This is an outstanding dealership where you get outstanding service from start to finish. Jim, Roy and Michelle - we can't thank you enough!!

North Adkins was very rude, if it was Daniel helping us we wouldn t have made a purchase. If it had been left up to me I wouldn t have bought. North really needs to take some customer service hours from Daniel C (salesman) & Mike (finance) they were awesome! Low rating only due to experience with North Adkins. Elizabeth Hance

Steve Vadala in the Service Team gave us an excellent experience yesterday. He s 100% focussed on his clients and great communications in letting us know when the car would be available for collection as we had only a short available time slot for the required works. Upon collection, there was an error in our account and Steve fixed this for us promptly and with no fuss. We highly recommend Steve Vadala to take care of you.

After going to every Toyota dealer in Charlotte, Rock Hill and Gastonia I decided one morning to contact Scott Clark Toyota via their online sales site. This was before opening hours and did not expect to here from anyone until later. At exactly 9 a.m. I received a call from Robert Van Alstyne and he assured me that it would be worth my 45 minute drive to come up. He was exactly right, upon arriving I was amazed by the amount of inventory available and the overall size of the dealership. Another gentleman by the name of Paul Powell was waiting on my arrival and quickly retrieved the 4runner i came to look at. After looking the car over I made a comment about a third row seat option which I had decided would be out of reach. Well Paul found one for me and still was able to meet my budget needs. I was skeptical about them having to bring one in due to past experiences with other dealers but Paul assured me it would be in by tomorrow. He was right the next day it was there cleaned and fueled up. Robert was back that day and briefly showed us the car then put us up with the financing department. The whole time I was thinking this is going way to smooth, the numbers were right, car was what we wanted, they must be going to get me in the finance office. Well I was wrong again, nothing had changed from the original agreement and the paper work was correct. After signing all the papers a nice lady which name I can not remember since I was so excited went over the whole car and even set up our phones with blue tooth. To wrap this up if you are in the market to buy a car I would put Scott Clark Toyota at the top of my list, and if you do make sure you call or email Robert Van Alstyne.

I called Marshall about an issue I was having with my car. He scheduled an appointment for me that same day. When I arrived he helped me right away. There was no waiting!! He was courteous, polite, and informative. I will always call him when there is a concern I have with my car.

Back in October 2020, I went in to inquire about a 2020 Toyota Camry SE. My initial plan was to test drive the vehicle and work out the details of financing. I worked with Mike D, who seemed nice enough at first. Then that s when the pressure started. I had never been so pressured into buying a vehicle from both him and the sales manager I believe called mr. bagels . They didn t even offer me to test drive the car, which was my mistake in not doing in the first place. DJ in finance was a nice guy but pressured me into buying the extended warranty stating that it was easy to cancel, which I later did. Needless to say, this dealership does some sketchy things it seems, and I would never again conduct business again with them. I don t recommend this dealership whatsoever.

Pete Acree helped me replace the tires on my Camry. He provided a quote during my regular service that I took away and compared to a couple online and bricks and mortar stores that was a better deal (significantly enough for me to make an appointment and come back in a few days later). And then after that...he came in under the estimate and time promised - it was a super experience for me! Plus I could work in their cubbies with free wi fi.

I've been coming back to Scott Clark for service for more than a decade now, and will continue to do so.
