Always a lot of staff but shorthanded on people available to check in your vehicle. Was assured it would actually be washed this time and once again it was still dirty, 0/3 record of being clean when I go to pick it up. Will go somewhere else next time.

Scott Clark's Toyota has not disappointed us with the service we receive. The tire warning light was on but the tires were at the correct psi. I didn't have an appointment but decided to stop in to see if the problem could be resolved. Steve Vadala got my car in right away and it was ready after about 45 minutes. It was the spare tire. So, all is well and they even provided a car wash which I didn't expect on a drop-in visit. Thank you Steve and SCT! Another pleased customer!

I bought a couple new and fairly used toyota from other dealers and I hot to say. Scott Clarke gave me the best deal out of the all. All dealers have their BS and their ways of doing business but Scott Clark's do a job well done.

It was ok, plenty of inventory to choose from, just felt like the manager that dealt with me had one goal... sell a car, and wasn't allowing us to work through the process. Kind of condescending attitude and a pinch of Arrogance, which can be a turn off. O can spend my money anywhere and get a car at a good price, and not looking for anyone to kiss my behind, but a couple things they should never do, talk negative about the current car you own, no matter what it is, and constantly compare your vehicle to others like from a script. Focus on speaking about the good qualities of your vehicle and point out some similar factors that would convey your strengths. Know your facts and do not lie. Information is too easily accessible, so when you speak cars,whether competition or your own, spin can be your enemy. Stick to the facts, and focus on your customer wants. They may not be concerned about the industry views on how wonderful your car is, they may want a certain color or car for personal reason, learn your customer needs and let them guide you through the process

Aylin Erkal was warm and friendly when I arrived. We sat down and discussed what car I was interested in then giving me the opportunity to test drive the 2014 Prius C. Although we drove a black one, my heart was on a blue (my favorite color). We both learned about the car together and then worked the numbers for an offer. Of course this was the nerve-wracking part but Aylin and Donald Thompson did a phenomenal job working their magic and help me get the car and the color (there were no blue on the lot and found one elsewhere and brought it back to Scott Clark's) at a reasonable price and period of the loan. If anyone asks me what car to get or who to go to, I would say "Get a Toyota, go to Scott Clark's, and ask for Aylin and Donald."

I have been trying to write a review since last year right after i got my car from here. I love my car Toyata CHR. This is the exact car i wanted. Thanks to Mike Miller, he was helping me through out the whole process. Everytime im there to do oil change, He always come say Hi if he saw me. Thats really nice of him and i feel very welcome. Went out to the dealership at 7pm on a week night. Only wanted to look at one used car. Met Hakim Dennis when we arrived. We showed what we wanted to see. He immediately took us to that car which was still getting the interior detailed from top to bottom. We talked about the numbers on the vehicle, came to one that both of us felt good with and made the deal. Never once were we pressured to buy something else. Thanks Hakim Dennis and Scott Clark Toyota.

I went to Scott Clark Toyota looking for a replacement for my 20 year old ML320. I really like the ,Corolla SE but couldn't decide on a color. The choices were blue, white or silver. I'm leaning towards the white but couldn't make up my mind so I decided to " sleep on it". If I could rate it at 10 stars I would. Jimmy Cline (GM of sales) and Travis Wilson (sales) worked extremely hard to help me obtain a difficult to find car. They were in constant communication with me throughout the process and continue to follow up on my satisfaction. Jimmy went well above and beyond my expectations to procure the vehicle. He and the rest of his staff are fabulous. Highly recommend for all of your Toyota needs in the Charlotte Area. I will definitely continue to purchase future Toyota vehicles through them!

Process was painless, and fairly fast.
Mileage noted on window sticker was low by about 3k; this incorrect number carried through on all the paperwork. Make sure you check the odometer yourself.

I was very disappointed to leave from my service appt 2 hours later with my tire pressure warning light on!! I called the dealership back & was told a manager would call me back after 2 phone attempts to contact someone in the service dept and now a day later still haven t heard from anyone at the dealership. I assume that because I was still under the free service my veghicle was just passed thru & they deemed it unnecessary to inflate my tires after a tire rotation. I ll definitely use a local mechanic from now on for my service appointments.

I went in for my 20,000 Mi. service and Marshall Moore assisted me (I always request him as he is very knowledgeable and fair and great to work with). He told me what was needed, gave me the price, and helped to provide quick and awesome service! Marshall always lets you know what you need and don't need and doesn't try to "sell" you extra services. I highly recommend Marshall when looking for a great service tech rep and I trust Scott Clark Toyota to provide what they say they will.

Came in to get parts replaced at the Service department on (trunk torsion bars which were to be installed at no cost to us), wasted a whole 1-1/2 hours before I was notified that they did not have the parts and they would have to be ordered. These parts are only suppose to take 30 minutes to install which should not even be that much time to install.Just because you are not making any money from it does not mean you treat the customer badly.
I had requested a time to come in for service and was told that they had the parts and I even asked them if they had the parts. What happened to customer service? All I can say is it sucks that you wasted my time and gas along with my dad who is a world war 2 veteran who I was helping out on this. All I can say is somebody needs to get with the program or on the same page. One hand does not know what the other hand is doing. The service guy did not even sound like he cared.

I didn't love that i knew more then his son, but the experience comes with time. Jacq and his son were very helpful and accommodating. I was in and out of there within a couple of hours.

Paul Moore was very helpful without being pushy, like most salesman. After my initial online request, he contacted me to find out exactly what I was looking for and to set an appointment. We discussed which cars there met the criteria and he sent me the sales stickers on them so I knew exactly what had been added and the price.
When I arrived for my appointment, he didn't try to upsell me, but brought out the exact car I was interested in for a test drive. Paul went over all the options in detail so I understood what they were and how to use them. He asked me numerous times if I had more questions and if I understood before he went on to the next thing.
Negotiating with Paul and his GM, Jimmy Cline , was a pretty painless process and we walked away feeling we got a fair price on the car and our trade.
The service center and amenities are great and I am very excited to use them when I come in to service my new Highlander.
I normally trade my car in every 3-4 years, and this was by far one of the most pleasurable car buying experiences I've had!

It took an hour and a half to get a battery replaced at 7:30 am. and it usually takes 2-3 hours to get an oil change done no matter what day or time I try to go in. Absolutely ridiculous. I no longer take my vehicles here unless it is for a warranty issue.

I had previously today written a review of my recent experience at Scott Clark Toyota and detailed some issues that I had with the purchase process. I was immediately contacted by Colton Parker, the gentleman that sold me the vehicle to discern what they could do to address my concerns and issues. I can say that they have definitely earned the 5 stars that I am giving them. Not only did they address my concerns, they went above and beyond to earn my trust and future business. I cant tell you how appreciated this is. I understand that sometimes there is breakdowns in a process which is what i experienced. Everyone makes mistakes, and Scott Clark Toyota and Colton Parker have rectified any issues or concerns that I had. Will definitely go see Colton when its time for another Toyota!

Scott Clark Toyota has made me not hate dealerships any longer. Terrique Brown is a knowledgeable, caring and understanding salesperson who I would do business with again. I never felt like "just another sale" the whole time I was there. I was not there to buy a car, right away, but just to do a test drive. Terrique's attitude and willlingness to listen to what I wanted, needed and pricing were what sealed the deal for me. Also want to thank Cyndy in finance for not being pushy and explaining all of my questions.

Although I spoke on the phone with Paul Powell and made an appointment with him,
when I arrived at the dealership Paul was busy with another customer so he asked Don
Evans to fill in for him. Don patiently listened to my tale of woe (the result of my
experience with a different salesperson the previous day) and was VERY helpful in
getting the BEST deal I could possibly hope for, without all the hassle and drama that
normally occurs in such situations. Don is very different from the "typical/stereotype"
salesperson, and I would actually enjoy buying more cars from him in the future.

World class service! My friends were looking for a great deal on a new Corolla for their daughter, so they reached out to me, since I was their Toyota connection for 6 years. Since I m no longer with Toyota, I contacted Shane Gunn, who has always been a wealth of information. He immediately expressed interest in assisting my dear friends and made the process very simple for them. I bought my favorite car, Toyota corolla from Scott Clark Toyota Matthews, NC on 04/29/2019. Salesperson was nice to me and he treated me as I want to be treated but when I processed the paperwork the guy told me about the gap insurance(TWS); I can pay once $974.00 and something bad happen on a car the insurance will pay whatever left from insurance . It was sounds good to me then I agree to pay gap on the top of my full coverage insurance, so I did. Finally, the car was totaled after a year. My insurance paid whatever the car estimated but when I asked the gap, they did not pay what I expected. My lawyer figured it out later that they are not real one they just call themselves as gap insurance. It was too late at the time I found out how Toyota finance deceived me that they told me false information about TWS. Now I must pay over three thousand dollars the outstanding balance. Please watch out incase if you are buying to buy a car from them.

I brought my first ever car from this dealership Toyota Corolla LE 2020. As far the car goes I like it a lot. As far the attitude of the people who works in the sales department who I've dealt with, the new employee who's job is to show the customer what feature the car has answered any questions. The person at who finance I've spent nearly 2 hours with. For all of these people if I could I would give them -100 for their terrible disrespectful attitude toward me. From both the finance and the sales person lying to me about my monthly payments, lying to me about a payment plan that I was told it's free to withdraw from my bank account only to received an email from that company 48 hours later letting me that they charger $4 every month for making payment. The new employee at after sales should be fire. I asked her nicely if I could get A larger cup holder for my car explained to her that I am a delivery driver her response was even though you just brought a car for $22k we will not give you anything for free. She made inappropriate comment about me having snacks in my car. Hello as a delivery driver I need snacks in my car to eat during the break. Honestly it none of your business why I have snacks in my car. As far feature for this car she wasn't willing to really go over everything I had to figure everything by myself. This dealership took advantage of me being a first time buyer needing a car as soon as possible to get on the road and working again. Instead of understanding my financial needs they put me on a monthly payment plan which is higher then what I can afford. My payment plan went up by $60 all because of the extended warranty which I wasn't interested in getting. But basically I was force to put it in with both sales department rep and the finance. I would stay away far from this dealership go and buy your Toyota at a dealership where they respect you understanding your own needs and not trying to rip you off.

Contacted dealership by online inquiry Monday night and was contacted on Tuesday 3/2/2021 regarding a 2018 Toyota Tundra limited that they had listed online. Craig Rose reached out and we began working out a deal for me to trade in a vehicle and purchase the Tundra, which I appreciated as I m about 2 hours away and didn t want to make the trip without having something worked out or at least know we were close.

As we were working on pricing, I realized that the number Craig was giving me for the Tundra was just over $1,800 higher than the internet price I had inquired about (which said unlock our best price). When I asked about the difference, he was great and said to send him the website I was using over because there could be a mistake. I sent the screenshot of the truck and price from THEIR website showing the internet price of $40,199 and he said that there had been a mistake and that the truck was listed for too low. He said to let him check to see what could be done when I asked him to honor that price.

After a few hours of not hearing anything, I reached out and asked for an update to which Craig let me know he was with an appointment. All good.

The next day, nothing. No contact at all but the online price had been adjusted to $42,xxx.xx.

The following day, Thursday now, I again reached out for an update and was completely ignored. Not only did they pull a bait and switch with a false price that they would not honor, they didn t even have the courtesy to communicate their decision to me.

Terrible customer service and I will not be doing business with this dealership. I hope others have a better experience.
