Terrible smelling flowers and half the showers don't work, but the pools are fun.

Great smaller water park. A little something for everyone. We will definitely return!
Was recently here for a party. What a neat place! It's clean, well kept and really impressive for a park district water park! I mostly kept to the lazy river, but the kids were running around like crazy enjoying the 2 pools and all of the slides. And we had kids from age 3 up to 19 with us. It was probably the most fun for kids under 13 I would say, but only because of the 3 giant splash pads, the big sand play area, the zero depth entry areas, etc. If I lived anywhere near St. Charles I'd be there all the time! Loved it. It's not a Hurricane Harbor or a Magic Waters, so don't expect that. But this is many steps above your average park pool! Your littles will love it!
The experience is very fun but in the lazy river they have buckets that dump water on you re head that you can t avoid.
This is a great place to go. The parking lot was packed but the place was not too busy. There is soo much to do there. This place is great for all ages. The staff was really great also.
Awesome, fun family friendly place! Great food and snacks too! Highly reccomend!
So much fun can hang all day food is a bit pricey so I suggest bringing drinks, snacks or lunch with you in a cooler
Really great place! Had so much fun with my grandkids here! The cabana was awesome!
Love this waterpark. Lots to do. Not super crowded. The staff is always friendly. Has a super cute splash pad and sand pit for the littles, zero depth for the new swimmers, lap pool and slides. Also a "lazy" river with water obstacles.
My husband and I gave otter cove a chance yesterday. It was great little ones loved it. I have no negative comments really. The place is huge. A few racist whitys beware if you look like a wet back, but overall didnt give one jack squares about it. Super relazing lazy river.
We went a day after storms so it was so crowded but have heard it can be crazy. But the place was clean and family had a good time
Great Park district water park with all the features and amenities. Reasonable cost of admission for both residents and non residents. Facility is clean and well managed. You can either purchase food there or bring in your own food if you eat in the designated dining area. A great family place.
Nice park...too many rules for the lazy river though. "No double tube for a single person...no clear tube...can't enter from the stairs" Boooo
Loved it!
We had my daughters 8th birthday party here and it was awesome!! Lots of happy mini mermaids.
Fun place to gi swimming. Very small-children-friendly. The slides are rather boring because there are so few - so don't go there for the slides. There are lanes to swimm in and two 3 foot diving boards. All in all a good place to cool off, but not to spend all day.
We've been to Otter Cove every year since it's grand opening (my husband is the graphic designer that was hired by the STC Park District to hand draw/design the Otter Cove Logo, "Ollie" the otter, the 3-D park map & all the other signage you see throughout the waterpark)...not only were/are we thrilled with how well all his design work came out but we love the park (& continue to visit every year even though we moved out of the area over 4 years ago)!
This year's addition of the "racing slides" was a lot of fun for both our 14 & 9 year olds; and our 14 year old enjoyed the new drop slide. Plenty to do here for all ages of the family!
Park is kept clean (although water could have been a touch cleaner- this year we could see a "film" of sunscreen in the water), bathrooms are moderately to mostly clean, food area (The Dive) was our least favorite part of this year's trip...food was barely edible (very disappointing, especially after dropping over $35 for lunch) & whole area is in desperate need of new tables (all tables were extremely dirty & rusty). Gotta pay attention to these little details in order to keep people coming back.
But overall we had a great time & would recommend this waterpark to others.
We live about an hour away from this pool but enjoy it more than our local one. For $15p.p. we feel it is a good price to pay, especially when we always end up staying for 6 hours!! Had always been very clean when we have gone. Lifeguards are very attentive and they even do training exercises while we were there.
its fun clean and has 2 water slides a lazy river and nice locker room
Fun for kids of all ages. Staff was very professional. Food was reasonable priced.
Nice, clean facility , attentive staff and lifeguards. Enjoyable!
Love this place, its clean and the staff is friendly. My wife and I have season passes, we really enjoy the lazy river and now you can do front flips off the diving boards.... Yes!!!!
Really lovely water park . We recently took our two small children to this location and ended up spending several hours here. Between the sand pit and the lazy river, I m not sure which was a bigger hit because everyone in our group loved both locations. Definitely plan on coming back again in the near future!
Had difficulty at the door but the management staff was awesome thanks to Ryder and Steve Kids had a blast, coming from Ohio we enjoyed ourselves.
So well kept. Professional staff, so much fun activities!! Something for all ages. Even ppl who want to just relax while their kids ride the slides can float on the lazy river. So many options. Visitors were a polite crowd in the heat, even if a few lines took a couple extra minutes. Staff were so very nice to my ten year old nephew a few times he needed assistance (get his ball back, page his mom, etc). Food at the concessions stand was good (chicken fingers, pretzels, ice cream, lemon ice, etc) and at decent prices (no gouging! ). Will definitely be back!
Great place except have to be 42inch to ride slides. My son is 4 has been swimming since he was 2. Wasn't thrilled about that.
Great time for the family. After 5pm, the rate drops a lot. Good for a quick evening out with the kids.
We had fun. It's on the smaller side, but I tjink it was just enough for us. Price was a little high as a non resident, but I would go again.
Fun place for family and friends to beat the heat.
Poor selection at the food hut
Don t come here with your significant other. They told us it was too inappropriate for me to be on boyfriends back while he was swimming.
Terrible. The day we went there were about 200 camp kids taking up all the space in the pools. Also, very long lines for the slides. You have to wait for about ten minutes to get on a 10 second slide. Not very clean either. There were so many wood chips in the pool and I almost swallowed one. Not worth paying for.
This place is amazing for all ages. Most of the stuff is cheap. LOVE IT
The park itself is fun... your concessions leaves something to be desired. The giant pretzels had zero flavor (put some salt on them plz), the bochco sticks were just disgusting and undercooked. Your fries looked and tasted like 5 day old oil and looked like they came up from the bottom of the fryer. Really really gross. The food should be much better for what you are charging... Thanks
We really love this place but it's impossible to find out if they're open or closed because of weather unless you call, which is completely ridiculous in 2019. There is a spot on their website but it's usually a few days out of date. They even have a Facebook page but I've never seen a post on there about being open or closed.
Great day with the kids, decent pricing, and plenty to do. Our favorite was the lazy river.
Great family friendly establishment. Clean and plenty of room for large groups. Great place to visit for a couple hours or all day. $10 for the day per person.
It is clean and well maintained! Just a perfect place to cool off every summer!
A little expensive but worth it id you stay for a while
Fun and friendly staff, always a fun time there! I wish they would fix the one part on the lazy river, it s been broken for years and I can t tell if it s supposed to be like that!
Poor layout of pool. Very little seating around pool. Hard to keep an eye on your belongings. Choose between watching kids or your valuables.
Super clean and well-maintained. I'm a season pass holder and love that it's big enough to find a spot even when it's busy. The lazy river is my go-to spot and I love to just soak in some rays and read and because there's so much space you're not on top of everyone c.f.else like you are at bigger water parks. Love this is in my town!
Modern, clean and large. Plenty of space to set up and for full families to enjoy the water.
The staff is very strict and you can not do anything there its just like a kiddy park.
Wonderful pool for all ages! Otter Cover is more like a small water park than a pool. It has a deep pool with swimming lanes and a slide that shoots you out into the deep pool. A toddler pool with all kinds of fun things shooting and dumping water. A shallow pool that has a frog slide for young children and several things that shoot out water. Two larger water sides, one that you can ride inner tubes on. A lazy river that you ride inner tubes on complete with buckets that dump water and other things to get you wet. Also there is a splash pad area that has lots of fun things to get you soaking wet and a nice large sand area to play in. My kids love it here, with so much to do it is hard for them to get board. Also there is a nice clean facility here with locker rooms and bathrooms. There is also a picnic area that concessions are sold at. If you come in the evening they offer discounted passes for the end of the day.
Pretty well maintained water park. They have 3-4 large slides, but they're sort of plain in my opinion. Would think they could put in a few nicer amped up feature slides with all the space they have.
Lots to do between slides, lazy river and various pools. Life jackets available and the 10 visit pass is a good way to save money.
I like Otter Cove because it's not so big that I have to worry about my 12 year old getting lost. And it's big enough for my two and three year old to stay busy all day. And even though it is smaller than other Parks it's still has a lazy river, a my whole family can enjoy that.
More like a water park than a public pool. I can't get my kids out of the sand box and sprinkler area.
The tube slide was fun. All the complaints must be from types that go to indoor waterpark hotels because I think they are alright for public pool. I been to public pools without water slides at all. Ungrateful people...
Great swimming pool area for all ages with plenty of fun activities, slides, lazy river, diving boards, plenty of area to sit and lay down. Splash park area has plenty of changing rooms and a snack area.
Great place to spend the day with the family. Several options from a splash park to the lazy river to the slides. Food concessions on site and locker rooms.
St. Charles is really lucky to have such an awesome place as part of the park district! The lazy river is my favorite part. I could spend all summer here!
Fun place, lazy river, multiple slides, deep/dive pool, kiddie pool/play area, connects to splash park with sandbox
and a snack shack
Great facilities, friendly lifeguards. Can get full if it's a nice day.
The best place to go swimming! There's a place for all ages.
Horrible policy regarding weather. I drove from 35 min away, paid for a family of 4, only to be rained out less than 40 min later. The teenage staff was less than accommodating, very crass, and were pool Nazis over my complaint. The policy should be changed to refunds (or at least issue guest passes/raincheck) within the first hour of the park closing due to rain.
This is my favorite pool by far!!! Its very well maintained the water is clean and doesn't feel like your getting in bathtub warm water even on the hottest of days(that grosses me out). Also they have lifejackets and puddle jumpers of kids. Also love the lazy river!
Love meeting up with the other Moms & letting the kiddos play. Don't be afraid if the parking lot is packed - park is spread out, so not overly crowded. Splash Park area is absolutely wonderful for younger ones. Plan on all day, but we stop in whenever we can (even if only for an hour)
My mom manages the managers for this place so I get speacil privileges but if I didnt I think I would enjoy such a family welcoming area, concessions are highly priced but staff is super nice
One of the best park district water parks in the area. The slides are great, lazy river is fun and my youngest loved building sand castles. My kids had a blast!
Amazing place.....great family fun....for all ages.
Awesome. Do the twilight. Its cheaper and all you need is 2hrs of the same type of fun.
Very cozy and great atmosphere with swimming pools, splash park, and water slides plus lazy river.
Good place to spend time with all family. It's not very big but there are enough space for at least couple hundreds of people.
There are some water slides, pools, lazy river and splash park for infants. You can also play volleyball here. In the park there is also food corner. Prices are not very expensive.
FANTASTIC community aquatic center! Very clean. We had a great time!
Lots to do . Very good prices . No long lines . Stuff to do for all ages .
Great for my Toddler. Even when it's busy it doesn't feel like it is.
