DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO HIGHLANDS RANCH BMW (RALPH SCHOMP BMW)

I am a widow of a LIFE LONG MECHANIC who spent his entire life wrenching on vehicles and when my husband committed suicide in June I was devastated!!!! Shortly after my car experienced some issues and considering my husband was the only person to ever work on my vehicle I thought GEEZ....BMW IS THE PLACE TO TAKE IT BECAUSE THEY WON'T SCREW ME OVER OR TRY TO SCAM ME WITH STUPID STUFF!!!!! THEY'RE A REPRESENTATIVE OF BMW THE FACE OF WHO MADE MY CAR!!!!

OOPS I WAS WRONG!!!

AFTER GIVING ME AN OIL CHANGE AND CHANGING MY MECHATRONICS SLEEVE AND ALL THINGS ASSOCIATED WITH THIS....i just so happen to notice some oil or something on the ground.... opened my hood, immediately could tell some fluid on my belt, upon further inspecting noticed a unusual amount of oil building on my skid plate....NOW JUST SO I AM CLEAR THERE HAD NEVER BEEN ANY KIND OF LEAK COMING FROM ANYWHERE ON THE TOP PART OF MY ENGINE.... EVER!!!!! I ALSO ENJOY WORKING ON CARS AND USED TO HELP MY HUSBAND ON ALL BASIC REPAIRS...I initially took my car in because there was a leak coming from the underside of my vehicle. So took there to BMW they recommended the mechatronics sleeve n gasket be replaced because it was leaking......SO I DID!!! ALONG WITH AN OIL CHANGE!!!!

NO WHERE ON MY PAPERWORK FOR MY VEHICLE DOES IT STATE THAT THERE WAS A LEAK COMING FROM ANYWHERE OTHER THAN THE MECHATRONICS SLEEVE!!!!

AUSTIN WHO IS MY SERVICE WRITER 2 DAYS LATER AFTER TRYING TO PIN DOWN THE SOURCE OF THE LEAK TELLS ME THAT MY ENGINE WAS LEAKING AT THE OIL CAP ON THE TOP OF MY ENGINE AND SOME OTHER STUPID SPOT.

IT IMMEDIATELY INFURIATED, BECAUSE HE'S TELLING ME IT'S $1500 TO FIX THIS, AND STATED HE TOLD ME ABOUT THIS ISSUE WHEN DOING OIL CHANGE N MECHATRONICS SLEEVE IN SEPTEMBER!!!! I even allowed them to do my brake, just because I still believe in redemption and they are the only ones to work on it after my husband....i am understanding to a reasonable point... But when you think I'm an idiot that's where I'm getting offended.

YOU'RE A FREAKING LIAR!!!!

IF THIS WAS TRUE, WHY DID YOU CALL ME almost 3 DAYS later stating the issue but the 2nd day you left me voicemail stating you couldn't pinpoint the source of the leak!!!!

If really that was the issue, and it was happening before when you had my car, then it would be stated on my invoice last time.....BUT IT'S NOT!!!!

SCHOMP BETTER RECTIFY THIS SITUATION TODAY WHEN I TAKE THIS LOANER CAR BACK BECAUSE REVIEWS ARE EVERYTHING THESE DAYS AND I AM NOT SOME STUPID WOMEN THAT DOESN'T KNOW HER OWN CAR BECAUSE I DO!!!!

SCHOMP better get a handle on their service writers bam boozling their customers because it's not right!!! Either do business right or don't do it at all!!!!

Arrived at store at 3:20 was informed it was sold.Had E-Mail from Schomp at 2:30 confirming, drove 22 miles from Aurora only to find they had sold the car. gave them my e-mail and phone number. it would have been nice if they had called and let me know.

Garrett Bourcier is the Genius at Schomp BMW. He worked patiently for two hours (it probably felt like more) on helping us figure out the settings on our BMW. His problem solving skills and knowledge of BMW cars is excellent. His personality and sense of humor made him an easy person to work with.
We appreciated his help and won't hesitate to seek out his expertise again!

So far my experience with Schomp has been terrible. Went to look at a pre-owned BMW on a Sunday and it took over an hour for them to find the car on the lot. After deciding we wanted to purchase the vehicle their were a few things very minor things that needed to be taken care of in the shop (brakes, spark plugs, etc..). We were told latest we can grab it on Tuesday. Today is Friday, after countless calls to our sales rep with no response or a very rude "I'll check on it, today is my day off" we still have no feedback about when we can pick up the vehicle we paid for. The lack of professionalism and follow up after a sale is made from this sales team is embarrassing. I work in sales too and this why people think badly about the profession.

Nice looking establishment but really medioker service. Unfortunately BMW dealers in Colorado r no longer as good as Murray used to be. Sales people change frequently. Really hard to get good service n stick w/the same sales person. The reason im saying this is because our household have been leasing 2 expensive BMW's for the last 25 years. The lease comes up every 3 years n since Murray closed we have been switching back n fort between the 2 medioker dealers, Schomp n BMW downtown which is Sonic. Customers like us, meaning we know what we want n we know our budget, it is important that the sales person understands n treats accordingly but when u hv people come n go all the time, it is hard to establish that kind of high end service.

I specifically called to ask about the BMW i3 due to the tax credits that are currently offered. I spoke with Jason Harrison, who could not have been more knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to explain all of my car buying options vs leasing. He told me about the Owners Choice with Flexibility program, which is a great way to buy a car with little risk. It's similar to the benefits of leasing. He explained that you defer a large portion of the retail financing payment to the end of the term and you have lower monthly payments. Definitely call Jason if you have any questions, he was very patient and super thorough! He'd previously worked in the finance department, and he was able to easily walk me through the possible scenarios. He helped me understand what made the most sense for me. It was so nice to deal with a car dealership and walk away having a positive experience!

My time at the service center at Schomp BMW went well. All the technicians were courteous and delivered my vehicle as promised. It was explained to me all that needed to be done, with a complete estimate of cost. I only spent about 2hours for the service to be completed. This is the only service center I've taken my BMW to, as it is where it was purchased.

He was patient and easy going, and professional in every way. His manner took all the stress out of the experience. Highly recommend working with KJ (Kenneth Schroeder). He arranged for two test drives for us with the new X3 Hybrid. After which we coordinated with him over text and email for the purchase then showed up, signed the papers and were done. He had everything setup for the purchase, including a genus appointment to connect the car with your phone for all the advanced features.

My wife and I did research first on the Schomp website. For some time, we had been eyeballing different vehicles, but never pursued anything. One Friday afternoon, we spotted a deal on a vehicle that looked interesting, so we decided to visit the dealership for a closer look. The car was in stock, and we took it for a test drive. It was a certified, pre-owned vehicle. Flawless performance, and a great price point. After some discussion on numbers, interest rates, etc, we squared a deal! One person, One price! I had listened to Lisa Schomp commercials in the past always saying that. The Schomp BMW dealership is a class act! Happy Driving!

What a joke of a dealership, first they completed ...

What a joke of a dealership, first they completed repairs on my vehicle without permission and it didn't even solve the issue I was having. They threatened to take out the parts they put in, probably would have sold them to someone else, so we negotiated. Not even a week later, same thing happens. Brought it back and they quoted me an additional $2500 on top of the $5000 they already said. When I spoke with the technician, he wasn't even sure that would solve the problem. So they wanted $7500 in repairs to maybe fix the issue with my wife's X5. Bring your vehicle somewhere else for service.

Update: The $2500 repair that I was quoted the second time was not necessary. It simply needed a new fuel pump filter which I had replaced for $200 at another shop.

I have owned 7 BMW's (3 M models) through multiple BMW dealerships. In my opinion, Schomp has by far been the leading dealership in customer service in sales, service, and parts. My go to people at Schomp are Jeff Tucker in sales, Lorenzo Sanchez in service and Jim Dodic in parts.

Jeff's attention to detail in the sales process and customer service is second to none. He can talk shop all day long and being an M3 enthusiast does not hurt his credibility one bit. Lorenzo is at the top echelon of advisors I have worked with and I have worked with a dozen or more. The man is a guru and knows everything and anything. Jim is literally an encyclopedia in the parts department and is an absolute pleasure to deal with. All 3 gentlemen exemplifies professionalism.

The car buying experience can be daunting and sometimes intimidating. Thats a shame because the experience should really be exciting and enjoyable...Thats the reason the ONLY place I go is to SCHOMP BMW! They have so much to offer and make the experience just amazing overall. They are no pressure and no commission so there is no one lurking to hustle you through and take your money. They are easy going and genuinely interested in helping you with the process. On top of that they are incredibly knowledgeable about their product! I just yesterday picked up my new vehicle...I was lucky enough to work with Jeff Hanson, who has been at the dealership for 13 years! He was absolutely FANTASTIC! Then, my BMW Genius Marcus Decherd spent more than HOUR with me going over the entire vehicle and its systems and got everything I needed programmed in! I pulled off the lot feeling like I had been in the car forever...it fit like a glove! Its the equivalent of getting a finely tailored suit made just for you from scratch! The whole team is amazing there...Todd Courtney, Matt Rebeck, and the GM Rich Battista and Jeff Capps are the best in the biz in my opinion. His knowledge of the systems, materials, and vehicle history blew me away. Our last experience with sales representative Toby Tutton was even better than previous experiences. His knowledge of similar vehicles to what we purchased was amazing.
Service is always as they state both in time and price quoted. The highest quality of customer service has always been provided to us.

Buying a new car is always fun. I just recently purchased a BMW X5 from Schomp BMW. I was introduced to David Toben with BMW Genius upon taking delivery of my car and it was such a great part of the experience and made it that much more pleasant. He gave me a brief introduction to the features and functions of the car, which was great. My previous car was a luxury car but it was 5 years old so it lacked a lot of the latest and greatest features and so it was fun to learn about all that the car offered. In addition, I was able to come back for a follow-up one on one with David today and address additional questions I had since purchasing my car two weeks ago. What a great experience with David and Schomp is fortunate to have him on staff as he's great at what he does and clearly has a passion for it.

I recently purchased a used car at Schomp BMW. My salesperson, Jerry Chavez, was outstanding and provided top notch customer service. Examples include sending me a video of the car with a review of the features to making sure a small dent was fixed. At no point did I feel pressured. I did purchase the extended warranties and hopefully they provide the coverage needed in the future. Overall, it was a great experience.

I recently purchased a Dodge Durango R/T from Justin Linder at this location. We initially came in searching for a larger vehicle with a 3rd row seat and he showed us a Acadia and a Tahoe. We weren't a big fan of these vehicles, and told Justin if a Durango ever comes across his table to let us know. Low and behold, a day later someone traded in a Durango! I drove down right after work and a day later purchased the vehicle. Justin made the entire process painless, no pressure, and to be quite honest rather easy! We've never purchased or leased a car from other than a local dealer before, so we had some trepidations about buying a car long distance. A friend knew of many people who have done so without any major issues, so we gave it a try. We used the BMW USA CPO web page to find an X5 that met our criteria (cold weather package, not black or white, no black interior, not used by a smoker, etc.). and the one we liked best was at Schomp, which is about 1800 miles away from our home.

Jeff Tucker responded to our request for information on this car. He sent us the options list and gave it a look-over and sniff test for us, which it passed. He then cleaned the snow off it, pulled it into the shop, and let it dry off a bit. Jeff shot a video walk-around tour of it, covering all angles and giving us closeups of each wheel, and posted it on YouTube for us to review. While we still had some concerns about the process, Jeff walked us through how it would work, and we agreed that this was the car for us. He went through all the documents with us, gave us a run-down on the timing of everything, and we wired the funds for the purchase. Any time I had any questions or concerns, Jeff patiently answered them for me.

Jeff suggested an auto transporter, which we used, and which delivered the car in perfect shape. There was a minor issue after delivery but, with Jeff s assistance, we were able to get it quickly settled to everyone s satisfaction.

We re very happy with our new (to us) X5, and appreciate Jeff s help in completing this transaction. He always acted with the highest degree of professionalism, patience and understanding of our concerns. Since this was our first time buying a car long distance, without Jeff s assistance in this process we might not have been able to do this.

Best experience I've ever had buying a car!! Dylan and Jack at Schomp BMW genuinely had my best interests in mind from the start. I was buying a used vehicle that wasn't anywhere near the price of a new vehicle but, that did not make a difference in their treatment and support of me as a client, and in general Schomp's treatment of me as a client, top notch from start to finish!! I visited Schomp BMW several times before deciding on a vehicle and had a great experience each time. The staff is knowledgeable and professional, respecting your time and also your desire to find the "right vehicle". Chad, my sales advisor, helped me find a 328i that was just what I wanted. Also, Chris Rapp from the Genius team took me on the most fun test drive I've ever taken, which really helped the BMW stand out against their competitors (that I also visited). All in all, I'd recommend Schomp to anyone in the market for a new, certified pre-owned, or used vehicle.

Needed some work done on my BMW after some damage was discovered. Elija at the service department helped me out as much as he could and made the whole experience very enjoyable and stress free for me. I highly recommend them as Elija went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of.

They gouged us and then broke my wife's car. I brought my wife's X3 to get the heater fixed and to repair a vacuum leak in the air intake. The dealership then also tried to get me to fix the oil canister gasket and spark plugs, for $1,000 more. After picking up the car and getting it home, it started leaking coolant. Took it back to get the leak fixed and they wanted to charge me another $525... and that's supposedly WITH a 15% discount "for the inconvenience." I took the car back without them doing anything to it; they're not getting any more of my money ever again.

He provided constant updates during the build process, answered each of our questions with an intelligent, informed response, and nailed the deal with no hiccups. I had a great experience at Schomp and would definitely recommend them if you are in the market for a new car. The salesperson we worked with was Jeff Tucker from the internet team. Very attentive with a 'no pressure' type of vibe but he definitely knows his BMW's and does a good job selling them. He was patient and spent a lot of time with us even on a very busy day. We also appreciated the simple buying process where you get a fair price and there is no negotiation. I wound up paying about $1200 over invoice (after BMW rebate promotion) and also got a very fair offer on my trade-in at slightly above the midpoint versus Kelly Blue Book. Maybe I could have done better by a few hundred dollars somewhere else but I doubt it. And, again, the hassle free process is a refreshing change with no drama.

It's a busy dealership so I would definitely recommend making an appointment.

I just completed a long-distance purchase of a stellar CPO X5 thanks to Schomp - and specifically, Jeff Englert. Jeff was incredibly patient and responsive throughout the process: sending me videos and photos along the way. I had never before purchased a vehicle without seeing it in person and so I was a bit anxious, but Jeff took the time to make sure my questions were answered and gave me great detail when needed. Best of all, there were no surprises when the vehicle arrived, it was just as I had hoped and expected. My family and I are very happy with our vehicle - and we just want to express our thanks and appreciation for the excellent service from Schomp!

Note, we drove from Boulder just to purchase from Schomp. This is our 2nd purchase in 6 weeks. The first, a 535ix GT that is having a few issues but the Service Manager, Steven, had the most senior Tech and Foreman, Chad, ride with me and he reproduced the trouble and is personally going to make sure its fixed. There was also an issue/miscommunication as to new tires but that was handled in a manner best for Schomp and best for us--simple, no drama. What more could we ask for? It is this type of treatment, in addition to the best Client Advisor, Joey Hegge, I have had dealt with in a long history of buying BMWs. So if purchasing the 2nd car in 6 weeks, a 2015 328ix, is not a testament to our faith in Schomp and especially the people that work there I don't know what is--except when I buy an X-3, X-1, or 328ix wagon in the next six weeks or so.

I scheduled service 10 days before appointment. Arrived at dealership only to find that they did not order the parts required for the repair. Disappointed that I wasted my time driving 35 miles to the dealership. I was promised that the parts would arrive within a week of my last visit; I am still waiting to hear from the dealership - and it has been over a week and a half. I have had other issues with this service department so I may consider going to another local dealer, perhaps COSBMW.

this hurts to write this horrible review. we're a family of bmw cars and have been for years. always taken to schomp for their service. we've worked with one main advisor who has been great. the techs can be a different story. this one in particular, we took in a 2013 m5. this is the 2nd time it's been in for service (routine stuff) this time was for brakes and rotors. long story short, the tech working on the car only changed the brakes- another tech we ran into leaving said they always do brakes and rotors together. this means we'll have to have another trip for rotors soon. anyway, we kept track of the miles on the car. only 4 miles were driven by the tech but a fourth of a tank gone. how is that possible? we brought it in at 3/4 tank and got it back at 1/2 tank. joy rides? we were already suspicious of this the first time hence tracking the miles this time around. fine, today come to find the tech tighten the wheel lug nut way too tight that as we're trying to switch out tires, we've already broken 2 tools. one last time, the breaker bar couldn't even loosen it, popped up and now left a big dent on my car- not their fault but seriously unnecessary to tighten it that tight. we'll think twice before choosing schomp over murray again.

Bad experience. Took 3 days to do an oil change and tire rotation even with an appointment. The bill they presented was $385 for oil change, tire rotation and a burnt out light bulb. Schomp service tried to charge us for diagnosing $4000 worth of additional repairs and never actually did what we brought the car in for until we complained. Never fixed the light bulb. I think they are after the big ticket items. We will be going to an independent shop in the future.

The building is beautiful and the front desk person was very nice and welcoming, offering us something to drink or a snack as we waited several times. We did not have an appointment and she was quick to find someone to help. The person who was assigned to us could not have been more rude. Kevin acted as though he didn t have the time of day for us hardly acknowledging us, asking us questions or trying to answer anything we asked him with more than one word responses. When it came to the test drive it took him 15 mins to locate the car we wanted to drive and he sat in the back seat on his phone the entire time. I tried to talk with him and he was like a moody teenager. My husband and I left and went back to BMW of Denver to purchase a car instead. Very disappointing experience.

I recently purchased a Honda Accord from Ralph Schomp. Easily the best buying experience I have ever had. I worked with Nick Sandoval. I cannot say enough about the way he conducted business and represented Ralph Schomp. I never felt pressured and made my own decisions. He took me to 3 different locations to get exactly what I wanted. When I found the car I wanted, the process was seamless. I felt comfortable the whole way. I would easily recommend anyone to go to Ralph Schomp and deal with Nick Sandoval.

Very clean, friendly and accommodating dealership. Had some issues with the first vehicle after an hour of test driving and talking financing. Wasn t able to purchase said vehicle. Instead of waving us off, the manager came out to greet us. She appolized, paid for our dinner, and brought a similar vehicle in from an hour away. They applied a discount to the newer vehicle, putting it similar priced to our original choice. Bought second vehicle without any issues. Excellent service, good value, employees are curtious and more than willing to help you out. They don t push anything on the customer at all. I can t say enough positive things about the people who work here. Free waters and snacks, too. The employee I worked with the most was Ace. He deserves a pay raise, regardless of his current salary. Personable and hard-working. Never came off as pushy. Quite the opposite. Clearly here to help the customer. Thank you so much.

Had a very poor service experience at Schomp BMW in highlands ranch .I went there for my 2018 BMW 3 series with the check engine light on due to an error code on the ambient temperature sensor. When I checked in for my appointment my service advisor was trying to convince me to postpone my appointment and come back again after 1 week, when I refused to do so. I was told by her it would take them 6 hrs to read the error code and find why the check engine light is on (I was like are you kidding me) and I'll have to keep waiting for 6hrs. But I was adamant that I wanted my car looked at that day itself since I had made this appointment a few days in advance and did not just walk in. I found her behavior to be kind of rude and condescending.

Then after exactly 20 mins or so my service advisor came up to me and told me that the check engine light is on due to rodent damage on the wiring connected to the ambient temp sensor. And since it was rodent damage it would not be covered under warranty and they would charge me 450$ to replace the wiring when the parts themselves cost only about 35$ and it takes about 30mins of labor.

So, I believed them when they told me rodent damage and due to their ridiculous cost to change the wiring I decided to not get it fixed through Schomp and just bought the parts from them.
I took my car to an independent auto mechanic and he looked at it and showed me the wiring which showed absolutely no evidence of any rodent damage infact it looked like it was cut and probably got pinched somehow.

My total service experience at schomp was terrible. Not only was I made to feel like I was not welcome there, but also I was lied to about the wiring being damaged due to rodents which I later found out was BS.
Their intention was not to fix my car under warranty but to try to rob me off 450$ for a simple wiring change which takes less than 30 mins.
I would never go to service to this place again or buy anything from them in future. I have owned a lot of premium cars in my life but never been to such a dealership before which is trying to loot people.
I wouldn't mind driving an extra 10 miles to a better dealership if it means I get better service.
I would have given 0 stars if that was a possibility.
They don't care about you once they sell you the car.

Salesman Tony & Manager Ben were a pleasure to work with to secure my first ever BMW (and my first ever lease), transitioning after 10 years away from Mercedes. Facilities and vehicles are top tier, as is the service. Props also to the asian kid who did the walk thru of the vehicle with me... he would make a great salesman just because he knows the product (and the competition) so well. In 3 years, I'll be back to trade in and up.

I didn't have an appointment - was driving and got a rock stuck in the braking mechanism. Drove in, got a loaner, came back in an hour. Not only did they fix the issue, they also changed all the fluids and washed my car. Not sure where else that wold happen! Great place and great people!

The Schomp organization has a large selection of cars, is highly organized, and values honesty and clarity in all transactions. Further the staff was impressive. My wife and I had a poor experience at your dealership this last weekend (17 Feb 2018). Syed Javaid was the client advisor working with us. He barely engaged us throughout the entire experience. He was consistently looking at and texting on his phone rather than engaging with us. He did not inform us about the cars we were looking at unless we asked a direct question or to criticize a competitor when we were comparing with competitor cars we had looked at earlier in the day.

He came across flippant and/or condescending regarding our interest in the M2s. At the conclusion of the experience he did not gather any information from us and seemed eager to see us go. He did not offer a card until we requested one from him before parting ways. Generally, at a minimum, he seemed apathetic that we were there and at worst, genuinely irritated that he was working with us. We went to Audi, Mercedes, and BMW in the same day and this BMW experience was by far the worst. As USAA members we were extremely disappointed to have this experience with a brand that is a part of USAA's car buying service. We are still highly interested in a few BMW models, but will likely be taking our business to another dealership due to this experience.

Initial Post 5/6: Bad experience when trying to purchase a BMW X4. After countless hours of online research, I reserved the car by paying a $1000 deposit, only to have the car promised to another buyer. How does this happen when my credit card was already charged?

More details - After a multi-week nationwide search, I found the perfect CPO BMW X4 and contacted the Schomp BMW. Patrick L called me back within 30 minutes. After confirming a few things about the vehicle, I was hooked and Patrick took my credit card info and promised to hold the car. The $1000 deposit hit my card within 2 minutes of hanging up.

I never heard from Patrick again. I called back the next day and got Ben B, who told me someone "internal" had also put down a deposit at the same time. We all use computers these days, so how does someone charge a credit card without first reserving the car in the system. I would rather take the instant rejection, instead of drooling about my perfect X4 for 12 hours, only to be told it was given to someone else, after I called Schomp. Note: Patrick L did not bother contacting me at all.

I did not get a satisfactory explanation from Ben of how this happened. I did get a few apologies and a verbal promise to give me $1000 off if I were to buy another vehicle there. Did I mention that I had very specific requirements for my dream X4 and lost it right after I found it EVEN AFTER paying a deposit? Does not seem like Schomp values its commitments.

I have had 4 BMW's over the years and had some amazing purchase experiences back in Atlanta, when I lived there (including a Performance Center Delivery in Greenville). So, the standard for the experience was set rather high. Recently I went to Schomp to look at an X5 that I saw on their website. I was introduced to Jim Merrell, who was friendly, professional, no pressure, and very knowledgeable. He was interested in getting me in to the right vehicle, and willing to spend as much or as little time as I needed driving, or "fiddling" with the car. I interacted with Jim over the following few days, and again, he provided me with the information I needed so I could make an informed purchase decision. I bought the X5 the following week, and had a very smooth, pleasurable, experience. Also, Laurel, the BMW Genius that spent time going over all the features of the vehicle, was very knowledgeable, too! This is a nice touch since some of the technology had changed since my last BMW in 2012. I would recommend Jim, and Schomp!
