and they did it ..and not try to get me a chaper model either they went all out ..some confusion on getting accessories installed and two hour delay because of it .but all in all was good..

I found SMP to lack professionalism and organizational skills.
Had an appointment scheduled for 11am for them to work on my truck, but wasn't not even looked at at 5 when I called for an update.
I decided to take my business elsewhere so I politely asked Cody(service manager) to leave my truck outside with the keys in the gas cap. When I arrived there and my truck was nowhere to be found. Lucky for me I got there at 5:55 and I was able to get somebody to retrieve my truck from the secured area at the rear of the building.
Thirdly, I booked my truck in under my name and they proceeded to call the pervious owner (my dad) for permission to work on the truck. So what if the pervious owner was not a close family member? Look at the work order instead of just scanning the vin number.
Anyways I decided to leave a review of my experience at SMP. I do not believe the representatives I dealt with were rude etc, but I do think they may be too ambitious. Namely, my annoyance is the fact I had scheduled an appointment for a specific time for somebody to work on my truck and it was not even looked at.

Took my silverado to their body shop after a collision (not my fault!) They had My truck back within a week, had to wait for a cosmetic piece to come in so they gave me my truck back and even fixed some minor scratches and scuffs for me for having to come back. Excellent, quick, professional service! Very pleased! We also bought our diesel from there, the sales and finance departments were also fantastic!

I went to SMP to look at a car and personally dealt with Angela Sipko. She was honest and sincere with her approach. No pushy sale tactics and shady nonsense. That being said was disappointed in my sales consultant Dan. Felt disrespected right from the get go. He licked his fingers from his ice cream right before shaking my hand. Kept licking his fingers through out the process for some reason. They gave me the lowest trade in value out of 3 different dealerships, and highest price on the exact (or very close) on the truck. And when I told not gonna happen I've got a way lower price on the same truck. He said "well it's just a starting point"... Before we sat down I told him ive been shopping around, so I thought he would have known not to go for the home run right off the hop. Like he knew he gave me the highest possible price for the largest profit. I understand everyone needs to make a profit, and I understand making the first price high and working down so everyone makes money then. But low trade in (lower than kelly blue book for worst possible condition), and not even close to other dealerships prices on the same truck.
Do some home work before you buy, and if your set on purchasing from them make sure you bring your negotiating hat if you want to get a good/fair deal.
Stevie was wonderful to work with. He was able to take all my requests and find a vehicle within my price range and that I was absolutely in love with when I drove it off the lot.

I had taken my vehicle in for a service when and it looked like there was a lot of work that would need to be completed to keep it a reliable vehicle, so we looked at trade in options Jeremy was very patient and listened to what I needed, He had a great knowledge of all vehicles available and talked me through all options. When I finally decided with the 2015 Equinox Jeremy talked me through all the features of the vehicle and what options were available. At first I was going to lease the vehicle but then had second thoughts, this was not a problem and the actual process of finance was very stream line and quick. Kelly had everything ready to go. When I picked up the vehicle I was shown how to sync my phone and set up onstar, and where various controls were. The handbook had the most relevant pages highlighted by tabs which made for an easy find. I was very impressed with all the staff and I will be a customer for a very long time.
This was my first purchase of a new to me SUV...Allen was so wonderful with explaining absolutely everything!! I really felt I had all the information to make a big decision. Kelly Johnson was professional but very informal....no pressure sales....Listened to our concerns and needs...he did not oversell what we required....we got the vehicle we desired and feel we got market value for our trade.
We really appreciated that the salesman, Kelly listened to what we wanted to buy and didn't try to up-sell into something different. He found us a compatible vehicle and we were happy with the trade negotiation. We were introduced directly to both the manager and the on-site finance rep, Dani who handled the paperwork very efficiently. Over all we were very happy with the quality of service and would chose SMP again when looking for another vehicle.
If I could give zero stars I would this has been the worst experience I have ever had with a place to get my car fixed.

He was very patient (i took months to nail down what I wanted) , professional, knowledgable, open, and honest. Definitely felt like he was in my corner the whole way.

Vehicles sales experience was amazing. It was quick and fast and I was in my vehicle in no time.
Service department, I am not impressed with. I came in with a signal failure. I waited 5 1/2 hours in the lobby for a 30 min fix.
I was told it s an easy fix and shouldn t take long by 2 separate people. So me and my 3 year old daughter waited, waited and waited. Even the other customers noticed how long I was there and felt my frustration from the conversations I had while I sat and waited.
Would I go back... probably, BUT I would have much rather been told, take the shuttle home and we will call you when it s done... rather than have me waiting all day and waste my time.

I came to SMP hoping to get a certain vehicle and it turned out it was out of my price range. My salesperson, Sam, accommodated me, exceeding my expectations. I found a great car and was treated super well. I feel confident that my car has been well maintained. Exceptional service and reassurance that my car is in great shape!
They have been five stars in the past but not as good as before. I bought a used truck from them last spring and noticed they were boasting "No Hidden Fees" on their advertising. After a deal for price was agreed upon the next day when I was signing the fiance agreement I noticed the payment was going to be higher than expected. I asked why and found out there was a documentation fee of aprox. $600. one of the largest out there. I asked why I wasn't told and the finance guy said sorry it's posted on the wall in the other office. What is their definition of a hidden fee?
The first time I plugged in the block heater this winter it didn't work which left the vehicle in operable in cold weather. They advertise a many point inspection of their used vehicles but apparently that doesn't guarantee you will have an operational block heater when needed.
Was interested in a used vehicle they had in stock. When it came time to work on a deal they demanded to check my credit before they would even talk about a deal. I then told the salesman that we would be purchasing on our line of credit rather then a dealership loan. He then proceeded to tell me it was the worst idea ever to do that and that I should defiantly use the dealership loan. The service was decent but unprofessional. They also were unwilling to move on their price of used. I'll purchase from wheaten gm from now on.
Horrible place and horrible staff. My sister took her vehicle in to be serviced and had a 22kg box of cat litter in her trunk, the staff stole it. They had no business being in the trunk, and we know they were in there because they forgot their tools. Very unprofessional place and very unprofessional staff. Stop trying to put the blame on your customers when your staff are thieves.

After a week of looking on car dealer websites for a used car I decided to go with SMP. They listened to what I wanted and found the car that matched that. Eben and Stan from sales, as well as Darren were honest, friendly and professional through the entire process. Got awesome value on my purchase and would definitely do business with these folks again.

Me and my partner have purchased three vehicles between the both of us from SMP, but sadly never again. I was sold a car way over my price range and promised it filled my entire check list but silly me after taking it home a week later, my partner inspected it and he realized it didn t have any of the things I wanted like cruise control or command start. When I called SMP the only response I received was if I didn t like it then I should just upgrade to a 2018 model for $10k more.... really disappointed I feel taken advantage of.
*Follow up, no resolution to my problem. We will no longer be a client of Chevrolet.

Why do I need to do a credit application before looking at a car? I have great credit and don't need someone to pretend that they are not taking an application to choose a car that they can make the most money on. Before going in to this dealership look into the cost of the vehicles and see how dirty these guys are. I have personally dealt with Gord Mansfield on many occasions. He is the sleaziest car guy I have ever met. After using typical lines like " I wouldn't be doing my job if I didn't ask...." and "what is it going to take to earn your business" he gouges you. Do yourself a favour before dealing with this guy and his team DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE!
You do not have to do an application first! PICK A CAR YOU LIKE AND CAN AFFORD AND NOT ONE THAT THEY ARE FORCING YOU To BUY!

Awesome service. I had stopped in to look at the vehicle before it had even been in for detailing. During the detailing phase the dealership found some paint damage to the fenders of the vehicle that had been mistake as bug splatter, etc. so they immediately sent the fenders away to get repainted at no cost to me!
Jilene Allen treated us great! She did her best to help me and my husband feel comfortable and confident in our car upgrade. Not only was she knowledgeable and helpful, but she didn't push us or try to sway us from what we wanted. She reinforced our choices - such a breath of fresh air!!
