It is just like we've known each other for a long time . They have a good service too . I even refers some of my friends to get a new car from smp. We went in looking at a dodge durango after searching the market for almost a month, phillip helped us out immediately. We had run out of time and were not able to take the vehicle out for a test drive. He came in on his day off the next day and set us up with our new vehicle. My vehicle decided to start stalling and flash the check engine light at me Friday afternoon, 2 days before my kids and I were due to head out on a road trip. A call to the service department had me driving up to the quick service line 20 min later. Marshal D was so calm, courteous and efficient. Had my vehicle back in 4 hrs, good as new. Thanks guys!!

So March 18 at 10:08 am approx. called amp.about why key fob wouldn't work not even 18 mths old and hardly used to open door or trunk on 2017 Cruz? Had to use phone app to get into car then it said key fob not found when it was sitting on console. After pushing start button few times it worked and has since. I get transferred to a service advisor I thought but no answer just voice mail..about half hour later get call back told what was wrong and answer was I have no idea I will put you over to a service advisor where I was suppose to be in first place a d again voice mail . It is now mar.19 5pm and no call back on my problem . This is the 3rd time in 18 months this useless service at smp.has done this. I get calls from them to bring my car in so they can charge me for what ever service they tell you that is needed but when you need an answer from them they ignore you like the plague. I have even left voice mail.with service manager before and no return call. I have no sympathy for this place and is why I drive a few blocks north east of there and get everything for service you can imagine and a call back if you have questions. I recommend others drive a few blocks also cause the ignorance is unbelievable at one of the two.
Great Staff to deal with! Having a staff( Tom Walker) that speaks my native language(Tagalog) makes the communication even easier. I was looking for my 1st car and I know nothing about cars but the salesman Brandon Snowshell was very helpful and patient on introducing me to my new Chevy Cruze and he even drove me with the car to show off with my friends because i was still on my learners license then haha! And the finance lady DAni was also very helpful and patient with me . They have great team of people :)
Alden was courteous and respectful, taking us more serious than we actually were about buying that day! He suggested a test drive any way, and I was hooked.
Jami was very thorough and professional when dealing with all members of our family. She displayed a strong knowledge of each type of vehicle we reviewed. Cory was very professional when working toward a final price. We were treated very well through every step of the process. Our boys love their Malibu!
Horrible Customer service - We booked an oil change here last Monday at 8:30am assuming it would only take an hour-hour and a half tops as thats what it has been in the past. So my husband came in with our one-year old son. The whole experience right from the start was awful. After dropping off the vehicle, no one would help him because he was booked with a certain employee - so that wait took 15-30 minutes then he was told the vehicle would not be done until at least 430pm. My husband was frustrated because there would be no way our son would tolerate sitting in a car dealership for 8 hours, and they refused to shuttle them home because we live out of town and the car seat was in the vehicle. So he asked if he could just take the vehicle back and go somewhere else that wasn't going to take a whole day for a basic OIL CHANGE. The coworker proceeded to look on his computer and said oh no, it looks like the vehicle is up there already so it shouldn't take more than an hour- hour and a half. Still frustrated but my husband assumed there wasn't much more that could be done at this point since the car was already up and being worked on. So he waited. Two hours passed. No call, so he went and asked the customer service approx. how much longer. The response from this employee was we don't work in times so you can't ask us that. Another employee was walking by and overheard and said they would go check. Comes back out and says they are just working on it now. He finally got the call approx. 2.5 hours later saying our vehicle was done. Totalling to almost 5 hours. This is unacceptable considering he was told it would not take more than an hour and a half. To top it all off. He went to go pay for it, and of course our one year old is getting fussy at this point because he's had to sit in a dealership for 5 hours. The cashier says to my husband to can you please get that kid to be quiet. I am disgusted with this whole experience. We will not be returning here again.
Dan and the staff were great. They took the time(like 6hrs) to answer any questions I had before I made a decision. The staff at SMP is very friendly and most professional. Thanks team!
We had a very good experience at SMP. From the first phone call from Shelby inviting us to come in for a test drive (after I had inquired online), to getting the rundown from a knowledgeable sales person (Jilene Allen), to meeting old friends in finance (Brandon Snowsell) and signing the papers. It was smooth and efficient and we came away with a great vehicle for a great price.
I choose SMP when I bought my car because I was with a friend when I bought his before that and right from that, I experienced and notice their friendliness and they are willing to help you whatever you want in your vehicle. My thanks to Imee who really helped me throughout when I bought mine and she's really helpful even our deal is done, I always ask questions I forgot to ask when I talked to her and she always answer me as soon as she have the info. Good job!

I had taken my vehicle into the body shop at SMP and had dreaded the whole process of having to leave my vehicle for multiple days and taking the time out of my day to drop off and pick up to get fixed. I had an unbelievable experience with SMP and had my car in and out in 2 days. I dropped my car off, had a brand new Malibu rental for the two days, came back and picked up a, what looked like brand new vehicle. I was extremely impressed with the amazing staff, the quick process and the fact that my car was cleaned inside and out, paint chips touched up, and the damage fixed. This is the second vehicle I have purchased through SMP. Both times I have worked with Eben in sales and he has been fantastic! He s very knowledgeable and easy going - I ve never felt pressured just to make a sale. Dean provided information and service regarding financing and extended warranty and made the experience simple and straightforward. Needed an oil change and a new bulb for a headlight, a work order that should have taken no more than 2 hours. It took 6 hours in total. I called after hour 3 to ask how it was going, and they transdered me to a line with no one on it, so I left a message. They never returned my call. After I got my truck back, they had used more than a quarter tank of fuel. It was completely unacceptable service, and highly unprofessional. Do not go here for service jobs. If you do, be prepared to lose your entire day waiting.
Car broke down but I managed to get it to SMP. SMP told me the part would take a few days to get here. Since I lived outside Saskatoon SMP provided me with a rental car all paid for. When I came back to pick the car up I asked if i could be slipped in for an oil change and said yes. A little later when the car was fixed and ready to go I realized they forgot the oIl change and brought it up. Mistakes happen but the way a business deals with a mistake tells one alot about that business. My car went in for an oil change and was out within 30 mins. When I went to pay for the Oil change they said, Merry Xmas!
This is one business that cares about their customers. They are also a very busy business have some patience with them.
- I recently had my truck serviced at SMP, I had the pleasure of dealing with Nick Kinar. Nick listened to what I wanted and paid attention to the details. I was able to discuss things with him and lay out a plan moving forward. I believe it is very hard to find people in the service/sales industry who know the true meaning of customer service and honestly. I believe I was treated fairly by him and SMP and will be working with Nick again on all my vehicles.
- I also had another vehicle in the auto body shop just before Christmas. I was very happy with their work and just as Nick did they went out of their way to get the job done right and to make sure I was looked after.
- It is great to see this and they have all earned my business back again!

If you are purchasing a vehicle, I'd recommend going to Wheaton. I've had a bad experience and I've had friends who have had similar disappointments with both the purchase, the service, and the warranty coverage.
I was recently traveling through Saskatoon on business, when I had a transmission line failure. Luckily it happened right close to the dealership. I wheeled the truck into the service bay. Rebecca Friesen was able to get the problem diagnosed within one hour. The parts had to be ordered so a rental unit was arranged and I was able to carry on my way. When the truck was completed I returned the rental and I was headed for home again. I was extremely pleased with the service I was provided. Thanks Rebecca

Honestly wasn't the greatest experience overall. Felt rushed and overwhelmed by the whole thing. Never even got a chance to negotiate the overall price. Felt no sense of security in the deal. In the end I don't think I would go back.

We went to SMP looking to replace our truck. Unfortunately we weren't able to get into the truck we wanted, but they were able to get us into our top choice car and we got to keep our truck. Even without a trade-in or down payment we walked away with a great vehicle. The vehicle we chose was so new to SMP that they hadn't yet sent it for detailing. So, unfortunately, we weren't able to take the car that day. We signed all the paperwork and had everything squared away so we could simply pick up the car the next day. There was a fair amount of waiting around, but in the end it was worth it. We are very happy with our new car. Thank-you.

Master brake cylinder replacement. SMP repair 900 for a car two months out of a five year warranty, and 72000 km. Replacement part only guaranteed for one year. Didn't see a problem with a five-year old car needing a part that should last much longer. Do not care about quality of their vehicle or customer only business for service centre. Never buy a chev.

I had a completely terrible experience with purchasing a brand new vehicle with this dealership. I bought the car in January, and being that it was the middle of winter and I live over 6 hours away, I paid an additional $600 to have it shipped. Once they received payment(CASH, not financed.) Any form of customer service disappeared. I was told one day shipping, and it took three weeks! for my vehicle to arrive. I understand that when using a third party shipping company, that sometimes things are out of others control. However, this is the shipping company the dealership chooses to deal with. I did not even have the option to set up alternate shipping with a company of my choosing.I was told I would be provided with a tracking number, this did not happen. I had arranged for a certain dealership here in the city for the car to be delivered to. Again, this did not happen. They shipped it to a different dealership. The problems just kept on from there... Once the vehicle arrived, there was scratches underneath the front middle skirt. I was told the car was sold as is!!! Since when is a BRAND NEW, not USED vehicle sold AS IS?! completely disgusted by the lack of costumer service and support from GM. I will definitely not be recommending this dealership to purchase vehicles from, as well as I will be very hesitant to purchase a GM vehicle in the future. Very unfortunate as my wife's family all own GM vehicles. lastly, when checking my spec sheet, I had noticed that there was a $500 engine cover option that was to be in my car. Guess what?! upon checking with my local dealership, what do we find? you guessed it, the $60 STOCK cover. Another phone call was made to SMP, and they did ship the $500 cover to me. Very shady SMP! Salesman was Dan.
Was a good experience besides the fact that I was at the dealership for almost 6 hours to buy I car. I've been with many other people buying cars and took roughly at 2 hours. 6 hours was ridiculous and I had many other things I wanted to do that day that did not get done because of it.
Very good and quick service. My appointment was booked for the next day after my parts came in, my car was in and out by the end of the afternoon and everyone was very friendly along the way. I highly recommend SMP. My consultant was Rebecca and she was a complete pleasure to deal with.

I just bought a brand new 2015 Traverse from SMP and I could not be happier. They didn't have one with the interior that I had wanted so I was going to settle on a different one, but my Salesman Randy refused to let me settle. He searched all over until he found me one with everything I wanted. I am soo grateful and I absolutely would recommend SMP to anyone else out there looking for a new ride!

Terrible service, bought a pre owned 2012 Silverado 1500 6 months ago, 3 months ago I had brought my truck in since the brakes felt spongy and had to pump them in order to get them to work properly. Let the sales manager Corey Risling take it for a spin to see for himself what I was talking about. Said "there's nothing wrong with your truck" even tho I've talked with many of my friends that are mechanics and all of them agreed it's most likely air in my brake line. Corey said even for them to check it out and see what the problem was it would cost $300 JUST to check it out. Why risk my safety especially with winter driving? I definitely won't be dealing with them EVER again if they're disputing a simple issue as air in brake lines.
If going to a dealership and talking to a salesman is intimidating as all hell for you (like it was for me), then I highly recommend SMP. I cannot say enough good things about my first time experience with them. Steve (properly known as Stevie J) is the most kind, genuine, and down-to-earth person. He recognized how anxious I was coming in and walked me through every step - laying out all of my options and being patient with me along the way. I also had the pleasure of meeting Tom, who was very welcoming and professional. He even checked up on me throughout the day to make sure I was completely happy with my experience. Last, but certainly not least, I also had to joy of meeting Dean. He was so easy going and funny, all while properly educating me on all of my options. They have a family atmosphere and it shows among all of their staff. At no point did I feel pressured or pitched and I would 100% recommend their services.
