Jami was so prompt and helpful start to finish. She didn't pressure us as we knew exactly what we wanted. She and the rest of the SMP team we dealt with ( Riun and Branden) worked hard to get us the exact vehicle we wanted for our needs. We also received prompt service when we added vehicle protection products on the truck. Glad we chose SMP and Jami.
I ve purchased 3 cars from SMP, and I ve never had issues until recently.
I purchased a Lincoln from them, and their service department called me constantly for service even before I actually needed it. I decided to book with them and that was the worst idea I ve ever had. Most places will do an oil change and an inspection for $90, but SMP charged me $240.
Now I just can t get gas and groceries for the next 4 weeks because they like to gouge their customers, and when I contacted them nobody ever got back to me.
Also, not like I expected it, but everyone else I know who s purchased cars usually get at least 1 free oil change, and while I don t expect them to throw in free oil changes I do expect they don t charge me $240 for an oil change and an inspection.
Crooked charging 90$ to change a block heater cord when it should have been warranty!! Wish I could give 0 stars
Drove 200km to get work done to be dropped off by 8am. . By 6pm my truck had not been brought in for work . They did not have time. Change to 3 star as staff were excellent, just over booked.

I give 5+ stars to the sales staff!! I had a pretty good experience here. They had the vehicle that I wanted and offered a competitive price for the one I bought, and also for my trade in. They honoured their exchange policy without a problem. The staff is all very friendly! Will definitely deal with them again in the future!
BUT, I did however have a rotten experience with the service assistant manager. Because of this I will not return to, or recommend the SMP service department, but would 100% recommend the sales and support staff!!!!

Even though we had considered to buy a used car at another dealership, Trevor, one of the salesman was so kind and friendly that we decided to purchase our car here.
As we are newcomers to Canada and we don t have a Saskatchewan driver license yet, Trevor had offered to drive us around in order for us to have a better feel of the vehicle.
He is also very accommodating and responsive. We had done a fair bit of bargain so every time we came up with the offer, Trevor always take it into consideration and inform the finance manager so that we can make a good deal.
He is very engaging too. When we went on the test drive, we had asked Trevor several questions about life in Saskatoon and he always try to come up with the answers. He also introduce us around Saskatoon and inform us about the driving manners here.
Alden Williams gave me a "heads up" on a new GM program and I updated my Silverado early. Alden gave me a thorough explanation of all new features and he and Stan Garchinsky were very obliging as usual.

I dealt with Jilene and it was refreshing to deal with a woman, as a woman. I have previously walked in to dealerships in Saskatoon (that I won't mention), where the male salesman showed me the mirrors and cup holders with "isn't the colour pretty?". With Jilene, there was no condescendsion that I didn't know what I was talking about, as a woman. Jilene also has a sister that is a sales person there as well. Jilene was patient and took the time to go through the vehicle options and app with me.
I also had the pleasure of dealing with the General Manager, Gord. I have previously purchased another vehicle from him and highly recommended him before. Gord was a huge contributing factor in my descion to make a purchase at SMP.

Went in to get some recall work done. Ended up with Hidden costs that were not discussed. By the end of the repairs, the bill was over $1500 without warning. It's highly recommended that a dealership be visited where they consult you before doing repairs. This dealership will do work to your vehicle without warning, and then just send you the Bill. Two Big thumbs down for this outfit.

on June 28 I started purchasing a 2016 Cruze from Samantha at smp, I found that she was both friendly and most importantly knowledgeable about the Cruze. with help I purchased the Cruze both quick and easy and yesterday I picked it up, plus I got excellent warranty that covers cruze for 3 years or 60k kilometers, 5 years powertrain warranty and two years of free oil changes. Driver's window stuck down due to failed regulator. I swung into the service drive-through without an appointment. They got me in and out quickly. Now I've got 3 years/60K warranty on the part and labour.
I would applaud them requiring masks for their entire staff. Seems strange to have service advisors wearing masks but the waiting area is on the sales floor, and sales staff are not wearing them.

I wanted was only available at SMP, however my experience was horrible. From lack of response and follow up from sales guy to condescending/cocky finance guys, every moment was dreadful. I would not recommend them to anyone. That said, I m quite confident that if I was a man, things would have been significantly better.....
I have to say that this was my first experience buying a brand new car without even sitting in it. However thanks to Stan Garchinski at SMP, he walked me through every step and made sure I had a good grasp. Angela Sipko was another driving force. She kept me updated on the details that I needed to make sure I had everything I needed to get my car on the road here in Ontario. She even sent me pics of the car all clean and ready for shipping. Wonderful experience at SMP. Came in to look at a used truck with salesman, Phillip Li. Phillip actually listened to what I was looking for, took the time to explain my options and guess what?? Took fiance in to get a new vehicle and was welcomed like family. They had a wide variety of vehicles and took the time to explain each one and wasn't pushy to put us in a vehicle she did not like, and watched closely to the exposed emotions to see how we liked or didn't like it. The financial team listened to our wants and need and did everything they could to meet our demands. We had an amazing experience and highly recommended them for dealing with.
I purchased my New 2015 Rav 4 last week on Tuesday! I was very happy with the service and the speed of financing put into place. I applied late in the day Monday and by Tuesday evening we signed the deal and I was off driving my new wheels! I love the service, the salesman Jeff Brown was very most excellent in showing me the vehicle and test driving it! Brandon Snowfell in finance was able to negotiate on my behalf with the financing company and paid off one monthly payment by wrapping it in the deal. I couldn't afford to plate my vehicle and SMP purchased my first month of plate insurance! I would definitely recommend SMP, this is the second vehicle we purchased from SMP and both are good quality vehicles we drive in our household! Thinking of a new ride...shop at SMP!! So far my experience has been so so. I came in and was given a quote on a car - the price of the quote was reasonable and at the top end of the market price value for the car. They had agreed to about $8000 for the car. I asked them to look at possibly taking my car for a trade in and they asked what I wanted for the car... they met me where I was at and I thought we reached a fair deal... then at the time of crunching numbers the price of the car was back up to $10K+ because they gave us maybe more for my car then they wanted so they made up the difference by jacking the car price back up. So that sorta sucked. I was told the anti theft package was just included - but then they charged $350 for it and said that it s not mentioned in the price of the car but that it s not optional. The admin fee was $500. So just be prepared that the bottom line price won t be what you pay in the end - there will be several other things added. Overall the speed of which the process was completed was good. The service was good and overall I am content with the deal. A bit more honesty in the process would have built trust and long term loyalty. That was not achieved. I walked away feeling it was an acceptable business transaction but not a lot more than that.

When I came into SMP it was for a simple test drive. I met with Joel who was a sales rep. he treated me with respect and honesty. He asked me questions about myself and my interests to help find the perfect car for me. I had brought along 2 passengers to help with the drive and Joel kindly offered to sit in the backseat and he let me go where I wanted to go so I could thoroughly test the vehicle how I wanted to test it. Another admirable thing was he never discouraged me from test driving other brands of the same class of vehicle, which showed to me a confidence he had in the vehicle he was selling. After all my test drives I immediately knew that I was gonna be treated right at SMP. So I sat down with Joel and he showed me options that he knew I was looking for and that would fit me. Drove off the lot the same day with a brand new car with a great deal and I couldn't be more happy and excited!

We bought 2 vehicles from them 3 years ago and they have been nothing but good and thorough with us. They always explain exactly what's going on and what needs immediate attention and what can wait. The service manager Michael is a really genuine person who helps the customers, you don't see that very often.

Purchased a 2015 town and country with 14 k from Sam Shynkaruk. Had been looking for two years and this van was on the lot for a great price. Dani Friesen in finance got us better interest rates than our bank and a fantastic deal. Sam also hooked us up with a bike rack and hitch. Very good service as they managed to get most everything done in my half hour window on Thursday nights between lesson drop off and pick up! Much appreciated, highly recommended and I will be back again.
All the employees are friendly. My salesperson Mark was a great guy to deal with; I appreciate his integrity and professionalism. Best of all, SMP Chev's policies on what is fit to be sold as a used car are stringent. I will shop there again someday, and for now am loving my mint 200 S.

This was easily the worst customer service my family has experienced. We took my car here because it had a seal leak and oil was leaking out. we payed them to inspect my car and they told us it was 100% ready to go and had no problems. so we get my car home after a week of being in their shop and it s still leaking from the same place, infact my bottom of my car was SOAKED in oil. so we take my car back and they give us two new problems with it, after they said t was like a brand new car during the inspection. so how did it get 2 new problems from sitting in their shop? we took it back thinking they would fix what they were supposed to do the first time but instead they charged us another $800 to do the same work they were originally supposed to do. they had my car for over two weeks. please save your money and don t take your car here. they saw i was a young girl and tried taking advantage and wrack up a huge bill with me. I m NOT impressed and i ve contacted Chev Head office about this. i have only put on 6000 KM since buying this car from SMP and it is already giving me problems. i was 1000 KM over my warranty and they basically said too bad. Customer service was awful at the front desk, didn t know where our files were, super unprofessional and unorganized. They also told me they washed my car, which they didn t touch lol. Never coming here again.

Had a difficult time getting work done that was covered by SAL warenty covererage looked after. Multiple visits for the same problem. Charges that were incured out of pocket later determined to be covered have not been reimbursed. Difficult time getting to the bottom of the final bill. Sales reps allusive and hard to get straight answers from. I will not be back.

Spent some time looking at a Colorado at SMP. Decided to go with a Silverado instead and was offered an unbelievable deal at another dealership. The salesperson proceeded to message me on Facebook, aggravated I didn't buy from him and trying to make me feel guilty that I wasted time he could have spent with his daughter. I went in during regular working hours. That's the way life works, under no circumstances should a customer be guilt-tripped like that. Completely unprofessional.

Yesterday my traction control light came on and my truck started shaking when I gave it gas. I pulled over checked fluids started again and revved up no strange noise or shake until engaged in drive and gas given. I hobbled it over to SMP and Rebecca in service called this morning staying they think it might be a push rod and that they would need to take it apart to find out what all was wrong. I said don t touch it and called a tow truck this afternoon. Rebecca called and wanted $280 or she wouldn t release the truck to the tow driver. I asked what was the charge for she stated that they took apart and found bent push rod and said they would have to take take apart further to find out if more damage and said I gave you a quote . This was not the case at all. Complete lie!

Lots of promises when doing a deal on a new truck. No response afterwards from service department for anything, oil changes, tires, warrenty work. Emailed the salesman Dan, about the work needed to it, got an email back ignoring my concerns, but he would be happy to sell me a new truck. I would suggest to stay far away from here. My current issues are only being addressed by doing a rescue tow on the chev app, and it being Taken to Prince Albert. This is the last chev product that I will ever buy.
Jami at SMP did everything she could to find the exact truck I was looking for. She was patient with how particular I was and not once did she try to push me toward anything that wasn't my dream truck. After a week of searching we found one in B.C. Her sales manager Dan was also great to deal with and we settled on a price that I thought was fair for both parties. Stan was a big help in arranging for the transportation of the vehicle to Saskatoon, he had it here in less than a week. Dani in finance was very easy to talk with and got me set up with financing that fit my budget and didn't push for any extras that I didn't want. In the end I walked away with an amazing vehicle and overall I was very satisfied with the purchasing process. There's a reason SMP is one of the highest rated dealerships in Saskatchewan, if you're in the market for a vehicle I suggest finding out for yourself!
