We recently were in the market to buy a car with our son who graduates this spring from college. We visited 5 different dealerships to test drive specific models. Our son worked with Joe Lieb at Round Rock Toyota. Although our son bought a car from another dealership, we felt compelled to write a review for Joe. Our son actually felt bad not buying a car from Joe because he stood out among all the sales people he dealt with...Joe treated our son with respect, was professional, and he connected with and understood exactly what our son was looking for. If you are in the market for a car we would strongly recommend Joe!!!

Aspire and the universe conspires. As a student, I had a financial crunch to buy my first car. Was looking forward to a decent deal at Toyota and kept my fingers crossed.

Mike literally stepped in when I had almost given up on my search and took me through a couple of options.

It was love at first sight. The Pathfinder was awesome! But I still struggled at the pricing.

I took a couple of days to try and fix it, but in vain. Was sure that I had to let go of the car.

Surprisingly, Mike kept following up. His understanding of my constraints and flexibility on timings and inventory gave me some assurance.

The greatest surprise was when he worked out on the Pathfinder to fit my budget!

It was a very happy moment for me and I cant thank Mike enough. He is a great guy and I would give him 6/5 stars.

My experience with Round Rock Toyota has been very mixed. When making a sale, they are all hands on deck, great work. When trying to get a refund on an extended warranty, it s nothing but lies and un-answered phone calls. I ve been trying to get an answer in the status of my extended warranty refund for a week now, after waiting for almost two months. Every time I call, I am told I ll get a call back. I never do. If you re trying to get money back from the finance department, expect a long, frustrating cycle of calling, getting a vague answer, and extremely unsatisfactory services. I really thought this dealership wasn t backwards, but my recent experience here has changed my view.

I stopped by after work, pretty certain to buy a car I've been researching. I walked by a group of about 5-6 employees who seemed to be hanging out, laughing, having a good time. I stand by them, waiting for my turn. None of them acknowledged me or even pretended to see me. Hmm. I'm thinking they're on a break. I then proceed to the front desk to ask for a salesman. The young lady there calls a number and keeps looking back to this same group of guys. None of them pick up the ringing phone. After some time she looks at me, basically apologizing with her eyes. Wow. Toyotas are cars that sell themselves. If salespeople can be this incredulous, head to a different Toyota dealership. I did. Stay away.

My sales person Arman Toshizi was very gracious and helpful in the buying process. The internet sales rep Brandon Truong was awesome, who was our contact thru the USAA website. The financial representative Brad Wolski was extremely rude. His demeanor was dismissive and disrespectful, he continually called me stupid for not purchasing the extended warranty. Shortly after I decided not go purchase said warranty, he started to spit his dip excessively which was disgusting and unnecessary. I m not from the south, I m starting to notice that it s fairly common, but totally unprofessional. I would not go back here. Nor would I recommend any friends or family.

I had no plans on purchasing a new vehicle but it seems a stanger decided a serious tbone side smoosh to my passenger side door is the going look for 2018.

I have to admit, walking into the showroom I had preconceived ideas on how this was going to go, overly aggressive salesmen, extra cost for this and that, buyers remorse the whole nine yards, yet None of those feelings became reality. I actually walked.. excuse me drove away feeling at ease.
Inno Onuoha, David Willis and Oz Ali, all explained, showed due care and kept me abreast of all my options. And I learned the resale value on my truck is the best out. I m super happy and secure with my purchase and warranty.

First of all, let me just say that I HATE car shop...

First of all, let me just say that I HATE car shopping. Not only is it a pain having to look through tons of ad postings and other resources to find the perfect car, it can be even more of a pain trying to negotiate the perfect deal to purchase. This was not the case in my experience with Round Rock Toyota. So it went like this. I called to ask about a specific vehicle and luckily the call was answered by Mr. Justyn DePaul. After a brief conversation I decided to visit the dealership that same evening. When I got there, the car was waiting out front and ready for my test drive. Upon returning to the dealership I'd decided that I wanted to make the purchase and literally within minutes Justyn came back with a number so good that I could not believe my eyes. There was no haggling, no hard selling, no pressure whatsoever; you know, all of the things that we hate about car buying. To add to this, I had an issue with my financing and Justyn was able to come back with an EVEN BETTER NUMBER that allowed my financing to go through and put me in the vehicle. This guy is the TRUTH and I cannot thank him and the other staff enough for the way they treated me throughout this process. If you are looking for a new/used vehicle, Round Rock Toyota should be your first and last stop and Justyn is the man to see. I salute you sir and all of RRT as a whole! You guys ROCK!!!

Bought my 2019 RAV4 Hybrid LE that was so hard to find last year from this place and had a great experience with Justyn, driving home with my new vehicle within hours on the same day. Unfortunately, I was in an accident and my car was deemed a loss just this past week and needed a new car. They offered me a great deal that seemed even better than the last time and drove home with my new 2020 RAV4 Hybrid LE the same afternoon. Professional, no hassle, seamless transaction. Thank you Toyota! Kimo from the service department was very helpful. I had an hour and a half to have my vehicle serviced before needing to leave to be at my son's recital. He said it would be tight but he was able to get it done 15 minutes early. I appreciate his concern on last minute notice.

My sales guy Randy was very nice and courteous with us. When I got to the GM to finalize the deal though and told him I wouldn't be buying an extended warranty he got very short and snarky with me. He also mumbled allot which I think is his attempt to try and leave details out in order to make a sale. I did not like him and he even have me a snarky comment about working in IT. His name was James and he had the stone cold Steve Austin look. I love my car and I liked my sales guy Randy. James... Not so much

Well Tracy Gurnett, I don't know how you guys pride yourself on quality by knowing the car was in a front end collision and not fixing the damages prior selling the car to a customer. I don't call that quality, and if I wanted to buy a wrecked car I've would have gone to a sketchy dealer on Lamar and probably gotten at a much lower price. For $16,400$ I would at least expect to get a car that was inspected and repaired of any damages, I guess y'all are just really trying to do a quick flip on used cars. Furthermore I've been looking at the copys of my Signed paperwork that y'all provided and I was not provided a copy of the carfax.

I bought a 2014 Honda civic si here.. idk if they inspect their used cars that they sell or they just trying to make a quick flip here. Well in the beginning of spring my ac stoped working and after looking around I noticed the ac condenser was bent like if the car had been in a collision.Their service center said I hit something while on the road but the car is completely covered on the bottom and the plastic covers don't look damaged. My mistake was that didn't take the car to get inspected by an independent shop. Please don't get screwed by this dealer and take the car ur looking to purchase to get inspected by someone else.

From buying my car to learning about the gadgets and settings to every appointment the collective crews are attentive, patient and have always done what they said they were going to WHEN they said they were going to do it.
I am comfortable with everyone I ve encoutered.
When I was purchasing my car the salesmen Ozzi worked with us and explained exactly what I was getting in to. I didn t spend more then I wanted and they didn t push me to
I wish I remembered every tech I ve met because I d give them shout out.
I definitely prefer this dealership to the Toyota dealership in Austin -hands down
Even when I call to make an appointment the ladies, especially Mrs. Corral, are always attentive and friendly
The service doesn t stop because you ve already closed on the deal. So, while Toyota is brand u can count on, this dealership is in a class of it owns. Full stop! Give them a try, tell them what your needs are. They may not be able to meet them, but you can count on what they say.

I recently got engaged and wanted needed a more reasonably priced car to start saving money for the wedding. When I approached Round Rock Toyota s team about my needs, they were extremely compassionate about meeting my needs, and they hooked me up with a really nice car with all the technological perks. If you can set up an appointment with Brandon Truong to start looking at vehicles, or ask for Derek Jackson for any financial questions you may have. They will truly bend over backwards and go beyond to assist you through the entire process. Including answering the 100 detailed questions to ensure I was comfortable. I was having a good experience with Salesman Rene, was about to get a car, two days later they loose the car ?? they have absolutely no knowledge on when and where or how. Went back a few days later Rene had gone home for the day and we got Vu the Pre Owned Sales Manager, lord .. WORST EXPERIENCE!!! As any buyer we were trying to negotiate a price as I work in finance myself. People please check NadaGuides before buying any car! The car's value ok a 2009 Venza they had was $7,300.00 and he was trying to sell it for $10,500.00 + tax, title & license. He said he would do us a " favor " and ONLY for us at $10,000 + TT&L. As we were trying to negotiate we were calm, polite and professional on the other hand Vu was yelling, arguing, turning red, hands shaking, stuttering and was very hostile. Complete opposite of professional, he said he paid about $9,000 at the end for the car and he was trying to make a profit out of it, now listen I get it salesman, dealership. But why should I have to over pay on car who's value is WAY less all because he doesn't know how to properly buy and make the investment. He could of gotten the car at $8,000.00 and could of expanded his profit margin but because he over paid he wants people to do the same ?? He also kept saying you don't have to buy it, you are choosing to, like wow really good salesman.. He got up and walked away from the table at one point, I doubt he has ever had to deal with a costumer, because his customer service skills were absolutely terrible. He would lover the price from $10,536.00 out the door to $10,500.00 which would put me the customer at an okay loan to value which lenders want to see in order to approve loans & he said those $36.00 were really important, even after loosing the car and being complete unprofessional he cared more about the money, then the customers experience. I really wish I could give this a 0.

update: the " manager " replied to my comment to make it seem like they were helping, I emailed them and 3 weeks later they still have not answered, terrible customer service, how embarrassing and unprofessional from everyone there.

Can't say enough nice things about Austin and the team at Round Rock Toyota! They were awesome to work with and patiently helped to make a stressful process so much easier!

Austin's low-pressure approach was perfect. From the first time I reached out via email to the moment we arrived at the dealership, Austin was able to lead us through various models and options, while allowing us to work through the normal stress of car buying. She quickly hopped from one model to the next, staying on top of what we were looking at so she could point out additional features of-interest. Best of all, Austin gave us time when we needed it without the constant checking and back-and-forth shenanigans that we've seen so many times when car-buying.

As we shifted to the finance side of the process, we had the opportunity to work with Grant who brought it all home by offering information and background on the various options (e.g., maintenance/warranty, protective plan choices, etc.) without pressuring or leaning too hard on the up-sell. Made for a quick sit-down and the fact that it was all done on a digital platform to minimize physical paperwork made it even better!

After wrapping up "the dance," the prep team's make-ready process was so fast and so flawless, we thought that there must have been a mistake (or that I'd be sure to find something not quite right) - WRONG!! The team didn't miss a thing and Austin's final walk through and pre-flight check with was fun and informative (unlike many of the thanks-shove-you-out-the-door salesfolks we've encountered elsewhere).

Amazing team, great pricing, exceptional service over time (we have used the Penske dealership family in Round Rock for years), and an all-round fantastic experience from end-to-end made our decisions so much easier.

Big thanks to Austin, Grant, and to the whole Penske team at Round Rock Toyota! We'll see you you out there and we'll swing by again when we're ready for to replace the second ride!

Purchased a car about a month ago from Round Rock Toyota and could not be happier with the experience. Negotiating is always a pain, but our sales person Jon made it the best he could. In the end, we came to a fair an reasonable price for both sides. Michael Hiler, the finance director, was very friendly, and made sure that we understood each and every aspect of the extras the dealership provided during closing so that we could make an informed decision regarding any extras. After we purchased the car there were a few minor issues, but Caron Corzine the general manager got us in touch with Juliana Smith who did an excellent job making sure that all of our concerns were taken care of. Negotiation always sucks, but the care I received from Caron and Juliana makes me believe that they care about having a relationship with their customers at Round Rock Toyota. I recommend them 110% !

Made an appointment for oil change at 11.40 still waiting 12.57 I ended up just get tire rotation inspection & told them to cancel recall check 2 hours for that Is waay to much everyone that was here before me left & even people who came after me have already left.. Staff has gotten really lazy, won't be coming back for nxt service...

We were put into a crazy stressful predicament. A very large repair on a car we still owed on. We hit a wall with repair negotiations and at first it seemed like trading in wasn t an option. I decided to call the General Manager, Tracy Gurnett, to let her know about our predicament and customer service experience. Tracy listened to my story and immediately went to work to find a way to help us. She was attentive, responsive and empathetic. There is online Finance Application for convenience and efficiency. They have a great inventory and pristine facility. She had a great team help us once we walked into the dealership. She involved Bob, General Sales Manager, Joe & Justin, Sales Reps, and Ashley, Finance. Our family is completely overjoyed and will recommend this dealership to everyone!! Thank Tracy and team!!

My boyfriend and I got into a wreck last week and it has been a NIGHTMARE. We found out that the 2009 car we were paying 10k on was only worth about 4k and our insurance was only going to cover about 3.9k of the 6.6k we had left. Luckily, the dealership we went through took the rest of the cost upon themselves (even though we didn't have gap insurance). I did not, however, want to get into another used vehicle with 80k miles and an inflated price per month from them, especially considering that we had probably gone to the service center 10 months out of 14 with issues that caused our vehicle to be completely immobile. And that's where The Garys came in to save the day.

We called to check on the availability of another used vehicle on the lot and spoke with Gary Walshire. He invited us to come in, and we came and viewed a similar vehicle, test drove it, and loved it! I was still a little disappointed as we walked around all these beautiful brand new vehicles, but I knew that with our low credit scores (from identity theft), there was no way we would ever qualify. We sat down with Gary and began the process of a credit app, praying that we could get this car with less than a $1000 deposit.

Gary, along with Gary from the financial side of things, worked diligently on finding a lender that could work with our credit scores. The Garys (as I have now nicknamed them) went above and beyond any expectations that I could have possibly dreamed of when walking into that location. Not only were they able to work with my specific issues, credit score, and financial challenges... they got me into a BEAUTIFUL BRAND NEW 2016 Toyota Corolla!! The payments are only a few dollars more than what I was paying on a USED 2009 Hyundai Accent!! I was given an incredible warranty, the car is fully loaded, they accepted the down payment I had without question, and I couldn't be happier.

We had some issues getting our insurance to work with us, and what should have only taken 20 minutes took about an hour to switch everything over to our NEW CAR! The Garys waited patiently by, even though they were due to be off work and get home with their families. They were courteous, compassionate, and incredibly helpful. It has been a few days now and I can confidently say I still have no further questions or concerns at all. I want to make sure that these guys were given the praise and thanks that they deserve. I never expected to be put into a new vehicle, and I sure as heck didn't expect to receive the amazing service that I did. I've been a manager for several years, right down the street from these guys in fact, and I'm sad to say that even I lack the customer service skills that I was shown.

If you need help finding a car, I would absolutely, 100%, fully give my highest recommendation to Round Rock Toyota simply off the basis that they have employed someone as amazing as Gary Walshire. Thank you, Gary. You have absolutely no idea how much you've changed my life with just your simple gift of compassion and guidance. Toyota has a new loyal customer, and as long as Gary is there, I won't be going anywhere else!!

Round Rock Toyota looks fancy but the customer service is terrible. My car went in for a recall service on the passenger side air bag. I got the vehicle back half finished. The rubber door stopper was hanging off and the plastic covering was barely on the door frame. The advisor assigned to supervising the maintenance team was nowhere to be found. He never spoke to me about what they would do. Very not personable or friendly at all. The front desk who gives ur keys back was rude. He waved me around to wait for my keys to be returned to me and tossed my paperwork back to me. There are better locations in the area.

They sell me a Mercedes Benz with a bad transmission and they knew since day one because I mentioned to them and they told me that it was nothing wrong with the car so I believe that after I bought the car I took the car to the Mercedes Benz for a full diagnostic and guess what? Exactly the transmission was bad I wrote a email couple of times and never got a response back it is sad because it was the sweet 16 car for my daughter and her and I ended up with a beautiful Mercedes Benz with a bad transmission please stay away from the used cars from this guys they advertise them as a
(certified cars) and according to my experience they re NOT!!!

Excellent buying experience all around , starting with my salesperson Shawn Draper , after i explained what i was looking for she helped me find the perfect car for my needs and then got me set up with the financing i needed . After the purchase she explained the special options and features and helped me set up my phone for Bluetooth as well . The most pleasant auto purchase in my 56 years , thank you Shawn and Round Rock Toyota !!

They were very friendly while they wanted me to buy a car. After they needed me to come back & sign something they wrote the wrong address on. It was difficult for me to correlate my schedule to theirs, as I manage an office & have a family. They offered to come to my office & I agreed. When he came in he suggested that if he wasn t able to drive to me the next time we would see each other would be when I was returning my new car. This was very unprofessional, especially when said in front of coworkers.

I have been doing business for years at RR Toyota and have bought several vehicles which has been a good experience. This post is about their service organization. I had my Tundra in for some service about 4000 miles ago and when it was in ask them to inspect my brakes and shocks because it had been some time since I had those inspected. I was told that it all looked good and would not need to replace anything. I asked them to do this so I would not get into a situation that I am in now. I am sitting in a brake shop when I should be on the road for a long distant meeting in the morning. My brake pads are worn and digging into my rotor. In fact all 4 wheels are past the replacement life. I called RR Toyota and explained my situation that I need to leave town to see if they would help me. I was told they were too busy..... very disappointing. I wonder how busy they will be when the new Tundra comes out and I am first in line to buy (at another dealership).

Purchasing a preowned vehicle from here was the worst experience I've ever had. In fact, it has been horrific. I purchased my car last Saturday, and apparently it had a lot of problems. My car has now been in the ford shop since Monday. I have called Toyota everyday to ask them what I should do, and they keep blowing me off. I have asked twice now to speak to the GM and have been denied both times. Apparently the GM is never in. Ford was trying to fix my transmission, due to a recall on their behalf. However, they cannot even fix it because the car will not stop overheating. Toyota is fully aware of the problem, and just told me to be on standby. They said they were going to call ford, and well, ford is still waiting on that call. So, thank you very much. I only had my car for one day, and haven't had it since. Still sitting here without a car. Your move Toyota. When the hell do plan on fixing this??

Round Rock Toyota is a great place to purchase and trade in a vehicle. They are the only ones we go to when we need to buy a car! We drove 4 hours out of our home town just to make sure we were able to buy from them.

This is our first experience with Round Rock Toyot...

This is our first experience with Round Rock Toyota and we give them 5 stars! We highly recommend salesperson, Brian Gilbert, who helped us every step of the way. We first met Brian when we asked to test drive a Toyota Highlander. Brian immediately responded to our request, and shortly thereafter we took a test drive. It turned out to be just the vehicle that we were looking for. Brian was very attentive to our needs and answered all our questions. After working out a price agreement, we drove off in our new car! Simple. We also asked Brian to keep an eye out for another vehicle (Tundra) we were in the market for. One week later he called us to come in and test drive a truck he found for us. Wow, what great service and now we own a Tundra and a Highlander! We found this dealership to be reputable and honest. And, for the best car buying experience of all, ask for Brian Gilbert--you won't regret it!

I have mixed feelings about this place, when I went in the environment was great, everyone superbly helpful and they cut me what I thought was a fantastic deal but then I bought a car.

The night I drove it home I noticed that the signal wasn't working correctly 100% of the time, I immediately contacted my sales person and left a voicemail. For the next week I reached out and heard nothing, then I decide to go above his head and I am directed to Caron (sp?) who then doesn't call me back but after about 4 days I get an email saying how sorry she is and giving me a $50 gas card and saying hey, bring it in we will look into it.

At this point I'm just happy to hear back from someone and I call in 4 times trying to schedule a day to come in, unfortunately I work Monday through Friday 9-5:30 in South Austin so it had to be a weekend which turned out to be difficult. In one of these phone calls I speak to a gentleman who claims to be the Service Department Manager who assures me he will help, the next time I call I speak to a different gentleman who has no idea what I'm taking about and doesn't know who the other man is because HE is the real Service Department Manager. So, one of these men is lying to me for no reason.

Eventually, I just give up, getting in on the weekend proves to be next to impossible and I can live with the state the signals are in. (no sound to alert me they're on and they do not turn off automatically after I turn so I have to turn them off my self, no biggie)

I purchased this car almost a year ago and here is what has happened since then:

-Replaced the tires twice because the struts and shocks are completely gone, as a mechanic told me; "It looks like the previous owner just did not care for this car in the least, if the dealership had done a full inspection they would have seen these problems and if they did see it they didn't fix it." Granted, this is a mechanic who did not see this car right off the lot but I've been going to this shop for over ten years and they have never steered me wrong before.

-Brake line failure about 2 months after bring it home, luckily my brother fixed it and it works great now. Apparently something very small was missing.

- The "chrome" on the door handles inside was showing a bit of wear and tear when we bought, no big deal, it's a used car. The big deal? The "chrome" on the passenger door sliced my hand open.

- Maybe 3-4 months after purchase we noticed that the passenger side floor was unbelievably damp, lucky us there is water leaking! Thank goodness my brother used to be a mechanic or this little issue would have cost me about $400 to fix.

One day after my brother was kind enough to fix one of these things I called the dealership just enraged, I felt like I had been taken advantage of and that they just didn't care for their used cars as they should which was causing me stress. Left a voicemail because, what else is there to do?

I understand it's almost a year later, I understand that there is nothing they can do for me but they need to know that they aren't putting out the quality cars that is expected of them 100% of the time. I feel like I'm paying for a lemon monthly and every time I pay and see the funds leave my account it just annoys me to no end. Had I not experienced all of these issues with the car then I wouldn't have given them two stars, probably 4 or 5 because before I bought this car they were impeccably helpful and full of information even though I got passed around between three salesmen. After I purchased it just seemed like they wanted to sweep me and my car under the rug :(

After my review a representative was kind enough to reach out to me and asked me to email Ty Reed about my experience, which I did. I emailed three times and here I am over a month later with NO response. Are you kidding me? You're just proving my point that once you have our money you could care less about your customers.
