My boyfriend and I got into a wreck last week and it has been a NIGHTMARE. We found out that the 2009 car we were paying 10k on was only worth about 4k and our insurance was only going to cover about 3.9k of the 6.6k we had left. Luckily, the dealership we went through took the rest of the cost upon themselves (even though we didn't have gap insurance). I did not, however, want to get into another used vehicle with 80k miles and an inflated price per month from them, especially considering that we had probably gone to the service center 10 months out of 14 with issues that caused our vehicle to be completely immobile. And that's where The Garys came in to save the day.
We called to check on the availability of another used vehicle on the lot and spoke with Gary Walshire. He invited us to come in, and we came and viewed a similar vehicle, test drove it, and loved it! I was still a little disappointed as we walked around all these beautiful brand new vehicles, but I knew that with our low credit scores (from identity theft), there was no way we would ever qualify. We sat down with Gary and began the process of a credit app, praying that we could get this car with less than a $1000 deposit.
Gary, along with Gary from the financial side of things, worked diligently on finding a lender that could work with our credit scores. The Garys (as I have now nicknamed them) went above and beyond any expectations that I could have possibly dreamed of when walking into that location. Not only were they able to work with my specific issues, credit score, and financial challenges... they got me into a BEAUTIFUL BRAND NEW 2016 Toyota Corolla!! The payments are only a few dollars more than what I was paying on a USED 2009 Hyundai Accent!! I was given an incredible warranty, the car is fully loaded, they accepted the down payment I had without question, and I couldn't be happier.
We had some issues getting our insurance to work with us, and what should have only taken 20 minutes took about an hour to switch everything over to our NEW CAR! The Garys waited patiently by, even though they were due to be off work and get home with their families. They were courteous, compassionate, and incredibly helpful. It has been a few days now and I can confidently say I still have no further questions or concerns at all. I want to make sure that these guys were given the praise and thanks that they deserve. I never expected to be put into a new vehicle, and I sure as heck didn't expect to receive the amazing service that I did. I've been a manager for several years, right down the street from these guys in fact, and I'm sad to say that even I lack the customer service skills that I was shown.
If you need help finding a car, I would absolutely, 100%, fully give my highest recommendation to Round Rock Toyota simply off the basis that they have employed someone as amazing as Gary Walshire. Thank you, Gary. You have absolutely no idea how much you've changed my life with just your simple gift of compassion and guidance. Toyota has a new loyal customer, and as long as Gary is there, I won't be going anywhere else!!
