Norcom mortgage is not a friendly business, depending on the amount you borrow, who you are they immediately sell your loan within weeks of your first payment due. I understand its apart of business and it happens but I am pretty sure my Mortgage Lender and Realtor who knew each other for years , just assisted us to only to get commission. Lesson learned

This company was referred by a friend. I will start with the positives. Ryan was literally always available. He responded to any questions within minutes no matter what day and time. Unfortunately he didn't take the time to get factual answers. This company is NOT up on all the latest loan programs available. We were told we qualified for a specific loan for over 2 months. That is until it came time to actually approve the loan. Long story short, I feel as if there was a bait and switch happening with this company. In the end it cost us over $4000 up front and $22000 over the life of the loan. Would not recommend this company.

This review was posted 10 days after closing and for now, it appears that Norcom has not traded off our mortgage to another company. 50/50 that they could.

Bob and the team with Norcom were fantastic! They came recommended by my realtor and a coworker, as they had informed me the Norcom team was incredibly responsive and helpful.
Everything went smoothly until the underwriting process. My contact was very quick to respond and very helpful. Once we got to the underwriting, rather than give me a list of things they needed, I would get a request for one more document, which led to another request, and then another. The week before settlement they were still asking for documents I d already provided and in greater detail. I understand they need a lot of documentation but they could have communicated better at the start. The underwriter was not pleasant to deal with at all.
We worked with Bob out of the Glastonbury, CT office and he was wonderful! He communicated well and was on top of everything. Would highly recommend!

Our recommendation to use Norcom came from a good friend of ours. We worked with Linda K. on our project and while our scenario was unique with timing, situation, and details she was incredible to work with. Linda talked through every detail of the process and made suggestions and recommendations to get the most out of the process. While the entire process seemed daunting she handled it with ease. She was patient and kept after us with getting her the details she needed for the mortgage and got us to the end of the process with zero hiccups along the way. Excellent experience.
