Perfect family vacation! Had a great time, staff is beyond amazing (I worked st Disney, I know how to judge staff). Food was not perfect but cooking for that many is extremely difficult and we still ate our fill. Rotated the menu nicely. It can be pricey but it was nice to "check out" mentally all weekend and not think about food and opening your wallet. Some things closed a bit early for our liking, esp if we wanted to give our 2 year old a proper nap, but the kids only got upset that they couldn't do one more "pony" ride. Pony rides could be a longer trail, honestly that was a bit disappointing for a place all about horses but the kids didn't mind. Direction signs on property would have been nice but it's a small place so it's easy to get a hang of it fast. They pack in a LOT in a space easily walkable for little kids. My husband didn't want to spend the money for a vacation and loved it so much he agreed to book another trip for next year! Believe me, that's saying a lot. Accommodations were clean and plenty of room to spread out. Second sink outside of the bathroom was an awesome feature. The locker rooms were a bit disappointing. We thought there wasn't any hot water in the woman's locker room but turns out it's the end of the run for the water so it took an extra long while to reach there. They might want to put in an "on demand" system there or a sign bc another guest with me left the locker room pissed. I happened to still be there when maintenance came to check. Pools were awesome, mountain tubing. It would also be nice if they had more riding demonstrations. With 2 little kids it was hard enough getting to breakfast so we missed the demos. They go over a lot on the trail but when you are on a living breathing horse it's easy to forget. Still, highly recommend it. Great place.

Highly disappointed, RUDE staff, my husband had called yesterday to find out the rates for a room in July (we saw a promotion was going on). We anticipated taking our two year old In July , because I have been away from him for 6 weeks due to being a nurse on a covid unit. When my husband inquired about the promotion he was rudely told that they have government officials who work there trying to undermine the fact that they don t care I am a health care worker (not saying they should at ALL) and to be honest my husband had said it innocently not to receive anything I think he was just excited for us all to be together after this nerve wracking time of the pandemic. So then he asked about the promotion the lady who he spoke with on the phone told him the promotion ended yesterday , and didn t even offer to honor it , for one day ? And this is a family resort? I had come here when I was a child with my parents (20yrs ago) and remember having a wonderful time I guess times really have changed ...

Great place for kids, lot if things to do like night shows, swimming at the pool, mountain tubing, zip lining, rock climbing and most of it's great buffet. The chefs are very understanding of our diets, they made for as we requested days ahead of our trip. Over all great place. Our last trip wasn't so great as I lost my glasses at the restaurant, I went back to check back at the front desk for list and found but nowhere to be seen. They are ray ban prescription glasses, I wish someone will come forward with them but my loss is someone 's gain in an ironic way.

Our stay was very last minute planned. But we are so glad we came. Our daughter had a blast. There was plenty for the adults too. The food was great. The rooms were nice and clean. But the best part is that all the staff were so nice. From the call to ask about availability to check-out, everyone made our stay great. Will be back again. P.S. don't skip the horses.

My wife, 3 year old son and I went to the Rocking Horse Ranch about two years ago.
At three, we sent him to day care at the ranch, and we went "pony riding" HE HAD A BLAST! He liked the water slides, and he actually made friends with many of the the staff! .
Then, for the next year all he talked about was "when were we going to the ranch again?!! We did!
They remembered Sam on his second visit. I would without reservation recommend the ranch to anyone, and so would our now 4 year old! So much that this year Grandma and Grandpa are coming too!

We spent two nights at the ranch during the spring break. Kids loved the pool however I noticed the water wasn t so clear and fresh. As we were leaving the ranch my son started complaining about tummy ache. He throw up afterwards. And again and again. We got home in 2hrs and took him to the doctor. He said that my child got a stomach virus probably from the pool. He said it s very contagious. Of course two days later my other child threw up and is still sick. Last night I came down with same symptoms (sorry for details).
I want to let everyone know that RHR didn t maintain well the cleanliness of pool. Never going back there again. Stay away from RHR if you care about your health.

Service was the best I ever had. Every staff member was pleasant, knowledgeable and interested in making sure you had a great time. Food was excellent and activities were abundant. Only stayed for one night, but planning on going back for a longer stay next time. Highly recommend this resort!

Location was beautiful. Lots of fun activities for children: pool with water slides, rock climbing, bungi bouncing, boating, fishing, bb gun shooting range, handball/basketball courts, baseball field, golf. Would bring my class again next year.

For what we paid to stay here, I do not believe the food or accommodations were up to par. The indoor pool is very small. The "lake' is more like a pond. I believe we had about 30ft of water to take the kayaks and paddle boats out. The lunch buffet was ok. Nothing special. The tasting hour, had decent appetizers. We were unhappy with the dinner choices. Our party of 4 had chicken tenders, cheeseburger, grilled cheese and sliced pork roast. Not what I was expecting, after reviewing the menu online. I expected much better choices for what they are charging. Breakfast was the best meal we had here.

The beds were awful! It was myself, sister in law and 2 kids. Our room had 1 queen bed and 1 bunk bed. For a room with 2 queen beds it was 100+ more per night. Overall our stay was just ok. We would not go back. Definitely overpriced.

My family recently visited RHR right during NYS's phase 2 of reopening during the COVID-19 pandemic. I want to start off by saying that my family had a wonderful time. There was plenty to do indoor and outdoors (more outdoors, naturally) and my kids (15 and 11) had a blast. Post quarantine, our major concerns were cleanliness, so I'd like to speak to that for anyone considering a getaway this summer. My family felt very safe there at all times. They are operating at a reduced guest capacity, so we never felt crowded even though they were "sold out" for the weekend. EVERYTHING is sanitized CONSTANTLY. They fog sanitize the rooms between stays. After every use of a life vest, raft, oar, etc, staff disinfects with spay or the fogger. Everyone wears masks on staff at all times; guests are asked to wear them inside and outside only if they are in close proximity to other guests. Meals and shows are mostly outside unless it's raining. Meals are still all-you-can-eat, but served my masked and gloved servers. Tables at indoor meals are assigned and widely spaced. While we were eating we watched staff clean tables, and chairs down to the spindles with disinfectant. Hand sanitizers were placed everywhere and wipes were available at the entrances to the pool areas. Smaller spaces, like the arcade, lounges and shop were limited to 5-10 guests at a time and staff were counting and would ask you to wait outside the area until there was room. That part was a little frustrating at times, but with good reason; it did make me feel safer. Also, the spa was not yet in operation due to it only being phase 2 of reopening.
Like I said, my family had a fantastic time. The food was great, the riding was fun and safe, the pools and hots springs were awesome, the staff was welcoming and incredibly attentive. My kids are already asking when we can go back!

I can not say enough about this place! This is our 4th year going and my family of four was teary eyed when leaving yesterday. It is simply the BEST family vacation you could ever go on! This year & last we have booked for New Years Eve weekend and we have already booked for next New Years Eve weekend. EVERYTHING from morning to evening is taken care of for you. The ranch is the perfect size for you to be able to participate in every activity they offer without feeling overwhelmed. From the moment you enter you are well taken care of thanks to Maria and her staff. Every meal is SUPERB and they accommodate any dietary need without hesitation thanks to Lawrence and his amazing staff. My son basically eats PBJ's and they will make him one for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Victor is always welcoming us into the dining room with a fist pump for my son and a smile from ear to ear. The entertainment is phenomenal thanks to Brandon and his staff! We participate in everything from Bingo to the hole in one games to the extraordinary New Years Eve family party! Every evening is a different entertainer who keeps the kids (and adults) enthralled before bedtime. The staff at the Winter Fun Park is AMAZING! They taught both of my children how to Ski!!!! You do not have to sign up for private lessons, they just have staff always available to teach them. The place has thought of everything and we just have the most fabulous time year after year. THANK YOU ROCKING HORSE RANCH for making our family vacation the best year after year!!! We can't wait for next December!!

Really 5 stars ? Well the subjectivity of this rating system is somewhat skewered. I am sitting at the chef tasting with sweaty cheese and a water dispenser, everyone hovering over it like it's an oasis. By the way the employees come to the bar and eat more food then the patrons.

Look, nice place but 1000 a night for a family of 4 is not worth it. I can only imagine that the prices are there for exclusionary measures (u interpret that as you like). The food is good simple well done food, except for that previously mentioned chef tasting.

Bring water bottles because if it's a hot day you're going to get dehydrated. No cooling stations or fountains, they put igloo water coolers with ice water but you have to look for them and they are sparse. There are some soda machines but they take cash so if your accustomed to a real resort you will find that this place is definitely not seamless. I wanted to leave gratuities for staff but you have to go to the atm in the arcade and blah blah blah. RESORT RESORT means your every whim want is catered to and i am more than happy to pay for that.

Small indoor pool and water features for kids nothing crazy but the kids enjoyed it. They are prepping a new water park for the summer of 2020, but I imagine that the prices will reflect the new amenities

if i could give it zero stars i would. the horse i got ran off the frikin trail. and the frikin guide frikin walked away instead of helping me. had i gotten hurt, i would have sued. i am an experienced horse rider, and this horse wasn t capable of having people ride it.

We stayed her for 2 nights (we had originally booked for 3) this summer. The only reason I'm giving this 2 stars (and not 1), is due to the kindness of a few of the staff, including the manager Scott who tried hard to make things better after it was far too late. I came with my two daughters, ages 10 and 12. This was supposed to be our super fun get-away for the summer (this was our *only* vacation for the entire year -- for us, this place costed a fortune and we splurged because we had read so many favorable reviews here; we are not rich like it appears many of the guests are). But it was a disaster. There were just so many things that went wrong: loud rooms with thin walls/ceilings (we were kept up until midnight with loud clomping upstairs and woken up at 8:00 AM with loud children next door, and my kids need more than 8 hours of sleep), unfriendly staff at the front desk (telling me I didn't have a room change when two managers had assured me I did -- we switched rooms after the first night -- if you stay here, make sure you're on the second floor if you stay in the main lodge!), assigned seating in the cafeteria next to the freezing air conditioning (and then when we were relocated to another room and had more desirable seating in the cafeteria, we found rude guests stealing our better assigned seating and telling my older daughter they were sitting there), obnoxious children blocking everyone's view at the magic show and screaming "pick me, pick me!" and standing so much that no one in the seated areas could see what was happening; unfriendly staff on the horseback ride, etc. This place is also really geared for little kids -- older children will get bored pretty fast (the banana boats get old pretty fast, and unless it's really a hot day, you get cold on them as we did; the tubing is pretty rough and bumpy the bigger you are; and we had to wait a long time for the bungee jumping, and kids were cutting the line). A few kind staff here and there (we had a jovial waiter for dinner and the cleaning staff are kind!), but an abundance of unfriendly ones.<br/>Finally, after 2 days my kids were begging me to go home and I decided to ask if we could leave after 2 (rather than 3) nights, and the front staff woman said in a very stoic fashion, "You can leave early, but you forfeit your deposit so you have to pay." This is when Scott came to the rescue and let us leave after two nights, without charging us for a 3rd. He tried to figure out a way to make my girls happy, but it was too late and they just wanted to get home and be in their own quiet and comfy beds with nice people who don't behave obnoxiously and treat them with more kindness.

My review of Rocking Horse Ranch: The place is very clean and has a warm friendly feel to it. They provide you with a list of activities to do each day. Every hour you are busy doing something . Staff is helpful especially the ski instructors. They are wonderful at teaching adults and kids. Snowtubing was awesome we loved it! No snowboard rental which was disappointing. You have to bring. Your own. Horseback riding was a bit nerve wracking if you haven't done it before. Some of the instructors were very nasty to riders who didn't know what they were doing even if it was a beginner's class. That totally turned me off. Also the horse and wagon rides need staff to organize how many guests go on at once and organize a front and end of the line. I had multiple people cutting us and was not able to get a ride at all . Ice skating was fun and enjoyable. Definitely a lot to do with the kids. Some activities are geared toward adults like trivia and black Jack which we enjoyed. There is also a chef's tasting with a signature cocktail each day. It's about an hour long and is pretty much a cocktail hour/Snacks and drinks to hold you over until dinner. We loved it! Comedy shows and magicians at night were awesome and entertaining

Now , for what we paid for a 2 night stay of a family of 4 I would expect much more in the following areas: Breakfast and lunch are buffet style and were delicious! Dinner was another story. Horrible food. Non buffet style. All portions are small and by small I mean a shrimp appetizer was two small shrimp on a plate. Dessert was buffet style and was good.
The rooms are rustic and a bit outdated but your never really in your room because you are always busy doing something. The pillows were a lot like the dinner portions, small. It looked like we had half of a pillow lol on all the beds. The walls are super thin so be prepared to be woken up to screaming kids and babies each morning. Alcohol was not included in the price. Overall a fun family experience but for the price we paid We could of went on a cruise for a week and had more included.

What a fun trip! The kids (3 & 7) were over the moon happy and loved each and every moment. The staff was AMAZING! They did everything to accommodate the kids, always there to lend a hand. They even packed our car for us while we went snow tubing one last time! The food was delicious and there were tons of kid friendly options. The only downfall we faced was the beds....they were not comfortable. The bedding is thin and the mattresses are rock solid. While this won t stop us from visiting again, we will bring a topper of sorts and our own sheets. Everything else was perfect and one of the easiest trips we ve ever taken. Can t wait to do it again!

I am writing this review lying in bed in our huge and cozy room... thinking about what a great place this is. The food is excellent, outdoor and indoor activities are plenty and full of fun. My kids wants to stay here forever. The service is 10 stars, seriously! We are coming back again, for sure - Daiyan and family thanks everyone at the Rocking Horse Ranch for the wonderful hospitality.

I went to rocking horse ranch with my girl scout trip a year or two ago and it was such a great experience. Everyone loved the food, the banana boat, the bungee jumping, and just all the activities overall. The activities gave everyone a chance to be included, unless you were uncomfortable with an activity in which case everyone was very understanding. In our case however, everyone did as many things as they could and the trip ended up being great for everyone. I have absolutely no critiques, the stay was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone.

This review is based on my experience and the people that my family and I have encountered so far. Once we arrived, we were greeted with such a warm and inviting welcome. Jeff, the Bell Hop, went above and beyond to make us feel like part of the family. The receptionist was so informative and very patient. I had MANY questions, as this was our first visit, and she answered them all. Since our room was not ready and we arrived early, they placed our suitcases in a locked room. We were able to use the facilities and go back and forth to our luggages without a problem.
The facility has a great indoor pool, 2.5ft to 4 ft deep, which was great for my two kids. Also, they have another kiddy pool/water park that is well staffed. Let me not forget about the massive twisty slide-FANTASTIC.
After the pool we ventured out to the other activities that they offer. They have Horseback Riding, Gemstone "Mining", Mountain Tubing, and much, much more. All the activities were staffed by a great team of happy, helpful people.
The food was fantastic! From breakfast, lunch and dinner, it was all great food. If you want something that they do not have, they will accommodate you and make it to order. If you happen to get Jaqualine as your waitress, you are lucky. We had her twice and she was great on both days, especially for our 6 and 8 year old kids. Our room was clean, spacious and quiet for sleeping.
Let me not forget about the activities and shows that they offer. The Bubble Mania and TV Song Trivia game were both awesome and we'll organized. I could go on, and on...Overall, HIGHLY RRCOMMENDED!

Surprisingly amazing vacation!! Way too much chlorine in the pool, but WOW! Clean, good food, reasonable prices, animals are well cared for, accommodating staff, I could go on & on!! Excellent alternative to an overly expensive, extravagant, fancy, family vacation. Beautifully kept all around the entire property.

The place was clean. The staff especially Geri, Emily and Cindy were very kind and informative about the activities in the ranch. My family and I went during the 4th of July and it was relaxing and the kids enjoyed all the activities that were included. Thank you. If my schedule allows we may be back for winter festivities!!!

I went here 3 years ago and had a ton of fun, but this year was different.

1. The pool was nasty. I'm not sure if they think Clorox is unholy but they need a bottle or 10.
2. Lack of entertainment 3 horses for 50 people... that's not just unhealthy for the animals but unsafe also. No shows and no fun.
3. Food was terrible. In fact I wish we wouldn't have eaten here as I am still sick 3 day later.
4. Unclean room... do they ever wet vac the carpet or replace them (I wiped down my own bathroom)
5. Service was nonsense, people really hate working here

An awsome place for a family vacation, simply the best. You will never have to worry about food they keep you well fed with 3 meals a day. My kids prefer RHR over Disney, need I say more.....

They have tons of activities for the kids and adults (ski, tubing, horse back riding, pool, BB guns) which was great. The staff was super friendly and happy. The rooms have paper thin walls and creaky floors, so if you have neighbors who talk or walk, prepare for a lousy night (yea that thin). The bathroom was updated but very very tiny. The food was mediocre - got old after 2 days for us at-least. Knowing what I know now, it s not worth it for their 3x holiday rate(New Years, etc) , however their normal everyday rate is actually pretty great.

Went there the weekend before Xmas ( me, my wife and two kids , aged 7 and 3) and had a great time. It is very outdoorsy and thanks to Mr. Nino we could really enjoy it ( though we missed out on the snow tubing).

The highlight is of course the horse rides and it is a real treat esp. if you are a novice like me. They have pony rides for the younger ones. They also did an ice skating rink and a campfire - with hot chocolate and marshmallows - while we there - and had Santa drop in for pictures.

The indoor water park and pool are pretty small but if you have young kids then they will enjoy them anyway. The shows are great too, lot of variety, and will appeal more to families with kids in upper elementary or middle schools. My wife and I also had a great time at the Fun Barn playing ping pong and badminton while the kids romped around in the bouncy castle and the ball factory.

What we really liked was that all the activities / attractions were well staffed with people with a really nice attitude. So there was always someone to show you how to make the most of the activity. The other good things is that there is plenty of indoor seating in the lounge area with always on coffee and pastries so after coming in from the cold you can always warm up in the lounge before your next activity.

The food is good and plentiful though nothing gourmet and after a couple of days can get monotonous ( we stayed two nights and three days). We really enjoyed the afternoon cocktail and hors d'oeuvres that they used to put out in the afternoons.

Like many other resorts they allow you to continue to use the resort after checking out and also let you help yourself to the buffet lunch in the restaurant. So that's good too.

I am only docking a star for the quality of the rooms. They are pretty basic (we really missed a microwave) and the bathrooms are really small and difficult to change in.

But all in all a great weekend getaway for folks in the Greater New York area. We will definitely visit again.

My family has been going to the ranch for four generations, for the past 44 years. My grandmother and mother started coming when my mother was 13, my mother brought me and my siblings every year since we were babies, and now we ve added great-grandchildren. This place is home away from home for us, and has something to do for everyone. The entire staff treats everyone like family, no matter how long we ve known them, and will bend over backwards to provide accommodations, whether it be special meals, room arrangements, anything. There is always something to do at any hour, from tubing, skiing, horseback riding and ice skating for people willing to brave the cold, a pool and slides, group activities and games every hour during the day, and a game room, bouncy house, ball pit, ping pong, and a small rock climbing wall. My one and only note is that as we ve been going to the ranch the same weekend every year, the evening performers are sometimes repeated (one magician has been performing there for the past 3-4 years and hasn t changed his show). That being said, I literally have nothing poor to say about the Rocking Horse Ranch. It is clearly a family resort, and they treat both their staff and their guests like family.

Great place to visit as an equestrian, and even if you aren't, the experience is amazing! The food is amazing! Other than horseback riding, there are many other activities such as swimming, archery, rock climbing, kayaking, and many more things. On the horse trails, you can have your young child go on a pony ride, and older children can go on the real trails which last one hour! There are beginner trails (walking), intermediate trails (walking + trotting), and advanced trails (walking, a small bit of trotting, and cantering/loping). The advanced trails, depending on who your trail guide and horse is, can be galloping!

We went in the summer of 2017 on a family trip and it was pretty cool. It was in the middle of nowhere so we had to ride a bus for a minute from the airport but it was not to bad. The facility was decent and they kept it up pretty good. There were lots of activities for the kids so they enjoyed themselves. It was a great experience but I do not plan on returning, I'd rather visit other states to see what they have to offer. I'd definitely recommend taking a family trip here.

Only came for one day-night, First time here with kids and grandchildren. That said... we will be back for a longer stay in the future. This is one of the best resorts I have been to. The staff was patient and kind with everyone, The facilities were clean and well cared for. And despite being completely *full* for a school holiday week, nothing was overcrowded. A good time was had by all! Thank you for your hospitality! (Only 1 negative issue - a 15% New York State ^Resort Tax^ is absurd! Shame on NY to deter tourism in this way!)

This place is amazing. This was our 2nd visit, my son wanted this vacation as a birthday present. The rooms are nice, they have bunk beds for the kids. Its all inclusive and the kids loved their meals. As a parent I love the independence it gives the kids. They can run around outside, paddleboat, horseback rides, magic shows, and the night ends with thenDJ and disco. We will definitely return. My son told us that this was the best birthday present.

Wonderful for a family getaway. We did 2 nights in January and it was well worth the cost. The food is better than the average all inclusive (you can ask for eggs your own way at breakfast which was nice). The staff are great with the adults and kids. Again, the staff are great. I can't stress this enough. It was snowing when we were there and everything was plowed all the time and everyone still had a happy face. This is a great place for young kids to step foot on their first ski slope (hill at best) but great for learning. The snow tubing was great for the whole family (even night snow tubing!) as well as the entertainment. They have a happy hour each day with tasty cocktails and snacks for everyone (popcorn is always a hit, right?). When it's super cold outside, they have hot chocolate/smores and heat warmers by the hill where you snow tube so you can take a break and warm up. This was definitely a safe, fun place for the whole family. Horse rides, staff were great. I had a 6 year old and 8 year old. The 6 year old was on a pony multiple times a day. the 8 year old (and us) had 1 hour rides each day we were there and had positive experiences. There's something about riding horses through the woods while the snow is falling that is so beautiful. At night in the winter, they have lights all over the trees outside and big windows in the eating area of the lodge so you can look out and take in the view.

Wonderful place to go with kids or also for couples! There everything. You can take a horse ride, go to the gym, play board games, go to the pool, the sauna and so much more. There are a couples of exotic animals also. You can play mini golf, beach volley or go fishing at the lake. Everyone is so nice. And every night there is a show. I really had fun. Recommended.

Some friendly staff: Rob, Erin and Brandon at the barn were SUPER friendly and great!! However, the majority of the staff looked bored, like they couldn't be bothered. The girl working the fun barn never looked up once from her notebook and couldn't be bothered turning on the vacuum line in the playground or manning the rock wall treadmill, the lifeguards seriously need attitude adjustments and need to enforce the rules in the kiddie water park so all the kids could safely enjoy the water. The activities were scarce and not engaging and the food was sub par... On every ride I went on, there were people surrounding me who were panicking since they were literally given NO guidance on how to ride a horse. You are directed to a mounting block and told to hold the reins with one hand. Then, your horse typically heads for the water trough where you have to figure out what to do next. I will say, the horses were FANTASTIC.. well taken care of and generally happy. There are wranglers who are 250+ lbs who have never learned the basic posting trot and just pound their horses backs... I mean, if you can't master the sitting trot to make your horse comfortable, should you really be allowed in the saddle on one horse for that many hours a day?? I hope there is a chiropractor and massage therapist on staff for some of those willing, lovely horses... I was so disappointed. If you are a horse person, reconsider booking a trip here. The trails were pretty muddy and rocky and it's just a basic loop. I did the advanced ride one day and felt terrible with the amount of cantering we did (totally excessive IMO)... the only trotting was the few steps in the transition... my poor horse was struggling making it up the hills and then I seriously wondered how many rides like this he'd have in one day. It was also pretty comical how the "try out" for the advanced ride was just taking off down a path with ZERO trotting before hand... that was a little unsettling considering I would never ask my horse to do that without a proper warmup. How about asking us to ride for a few seconds in the ring before a ride to determine our level?? I'm sure after about 15 seconds, you'd be able to tell I'm experienced. So, the second day I did the Intermediate ride and enjoyed it much more. I don't need to blast off thru mud and rocks to have fun. My family and I were excited to depart after lunch today. When we were checking out and asked how our stay was..."UM... OK" was a totally acceptable response. haha The customer service was pretty pathetic. We chose this place after three of my friends (who are all "horse people") recommended it... We were highly disappointed. I don't think one part of our stay met or exceeded our expectations.

This place was awesome. The time of the year kinda didn't make it so great since it was too cold for summer stuff but too hot for the winter snow stuff and it was raining most of the time. Great for kids and adults. The staff is amazing and very eager to please. I would definitely recommend going on the horse trails more than once, that is the best activity they offer. Indoor pool is very small and the food was not the best but not bad at all. We will definitely be back again when the weather is better!

I wish I could give them a five. But I can t. I made reservation three days ago but I just found out I have to work. I called back the next day to tell them I had to cancel but no one picked up. I tried again at six, at eight and then at ten. Nothing. Finally today I got hold of a women named Pat. Very nice on the phone and she informs me that they now charge a thirty dollar fee for canceling. And it takes there bank 10 days to put the money back on your card

I have dealt with Disney, Great Wolf Lodge and Hersey when I had to cancel due to work and never was charge a fee. Nor did I have to wait till ten days

The company never even sent me a reservation confirmation like most companies who been open for years. Lady says the computer doesn t send one when reservation are made online. Very unprofessional.

Blast from the past !! : Rocking Horse Dude Ranch was where I took my then 7 yr old son when we had moved from New Mexico to Putnam County, NY, & he was missing the ranch and horses we left behind. Attentive staff, expert horse care, groomed trails, way fun for a get-away! The heated pool is perfect after a day in the saddle!

We got here today right before a blizzard hit and within hours everything was shut down, from the horseback riding to the horse-drawn carriages. There is just no visibility. They made accommodations for everything! My kids got to play games and win prizes and do archery and BB shooting! The swimming pool is immaculate, one of the cleanest I've ever seen and it does not overpower you with the stench of chlorine. The food here is nothing short but amazing! We cannot wait to check out the activities tomorrow, once some of the snow has settled and we will then enjoy horseback riding along with sleigh riding and snow tubing at night! I can't say anything bad about this place at all. The rooms are Immaculate and they are clean and the staff has been amazing from the time we called to make our reservations straight through. Totally 5 stars in my Book! So excited for tomorrow!! Ps Bunkbeds were such a bonus for my kids!! Fun! Fun! Fun!!

This place is amazing. The all in one charge is the deal maker, pay one price and do not worry about the ticket prices any more. All activities are included! The food is great... but watch the calories.. it will entice you to add on pounds if you fail to :)
