Was fine 2 times before. This order they put a "pending" hold on the amount in my bank account, then claimed my card was declined. I rarely use the account aside from depositing money when I need to buy something like this.
When I provided the confirmation (a screenshot of my actual bank statement), they asked if I wanted to use another payment method. What? How can you put a hold on the total amount and then say it declined?

***Email correspondence is a nightmare. Each message is replied by another random person that does not bother to read the thread of previous messages.
**I used to live chat feature and the woman addressed me by the wrong name immediately after I told it to her IN WRITING.
*I simply cancelled the order to try to get the funds back to reorder. The original $102 is still in "pending status" and unavailable to me, so I can't make the order. Good thing my dog doesn't NEED this medicine to survive. I feel for anyone in that situation.

Sorry for the long review but others need to be aware that they will dance around your problems and take no accountability. If it wasn't for their flea med price being significantly cheaper than the vet, I'd never give them my business again.

Best prices, hands down! But the icing on the cake is the friendly staff! Talking to anyone on staff is like talking to someone you ve known forever! Friendly, courteous, genuinely interested in serving you and wanting to make sure you are satisfied..... and your pet is happy! If every business operated like this in their customer service, the world would be a better place!!! Thank you for taking such good care of me and my beloved pets!!!

HIGH Prices. They do give your dog a bone in the box with your order. Not sure it's worth paying twice the cost that competitors charge for medications for a stale dog bone. ADDED after PetMeds replied: I have used the price match before, yet to expect a customer to call in every time to ask for a fair price is a waste of time when other companies (including shipping) are much lower without asking. In an Internet shopping world, if the company can't do what it takes to retain a customer by matching the last order's price (60 days ago) without being asked says more about the company's unfair pricing practice that take advantage of the unknowing customer. If PetMeds wants customer loyalty, raising the price every 60 days and requiring the customer to call in and to spend the time to ask to match other providers fair prices isn't the way to do it...hence this review.

Well unfortunately after leaving my review yesterday, I must edit my 5 star rating. I've been a pleased customer for OVER 20 YEARS! So pleased that I even overlooked the fact they still have one of my dogs on my account, when I specifically told them of his passing. It's hard getting mail for him, but the customer service was so great, I didn't want to stir anything up. However, this week my other dog's rx was sent to the wrong vet and while on chat, I gave the new vet info several times. The CSR could barely use grammatically correct sentences and her spelling was atrocious. This chat went on for over 30 minutes. She then had someone call me who also had the wrong information. I asked numerous times for her to confirm and I don't know if she didn't understand or what the issue there was. She then asked if she could call me and I replied "no, I'm chatting with you because I'm at work." She had the wrong # to fax as well. This was the most frustrating annoying experience I have ever had with them. I should have known from the beginning when I began the conversation (which shows my name) and her response was "who do I have the pleasure of speaking with today".

Their prices and products are great. My problem is that for the past few months I have been bombarded by emails. I hate getting emails from companies trying to get me to purchase more from them. When I am ready to buy I will. I have requested NO MORE CONTACT from them every time i get an email but they have ignored my requests. I have already contacted the BBB and the FCC and complained. It s ridiculous.

Good business. I've used them before and am ordering again. Their prices are good and shipping fast. They carry genuine name brand USA made products so no worries about receiving counterfeits (which is a possibility w/ other online "pharmacies") or low quality generics not made to US standards that can be imported from Asia for 1/2 the cost.

This company and its employees are exceptional! Customer service is huge and this company and its employees do such an outstanding job! I have been ordering with them for numerous years and every time I have ordered something or had to call and speak with someone, it has been such an easy and enjoyable experience. Every time I get off the phone with one of their customer service representatives, I am so impressed and love the company more and more. They go above and beyond for customer service and it shows!! I really appreciate it!!

1-800-petmeds is an online pet pharmacy. They are the largest pet pharmacy in the U.S. and are accredited by the board of Pharmaceuticals. Orders are shipped right to your home (or any address you choose), which is super convenient. They ship via USPS or Federal Express and they ship Internationally as well. 9 out of 10 times they will be less expensive than your veterinarian. They will also do a price match for you if you find your item cheaper at your vet or any other accredited pharmacy. Prescription medications will need an approval from your vet, but they make it very easy by contacting your vet for you. All of the customer service agents are always very nice (Disclaimer: I am one of them!) and go above and beyond to make sure that their customers are satisfied. If all the reviews are the true customers reviews then this must be one very unfortunate customer that the same experience happened twice. Couple years ago, with their lower prices than the retail pharmacist and the vets, I placed an order than went through so much troubles just to get them to receive the prescription from my vet. Of course the shipment took forever to receive due to that delayed.

Years later, thinking they will be improving and gave them another try. This time is worse. Same thing happened, the vet faxed back the approval, they keep saying they didn t receive it. Then I demanded them to call my vet and received the approval verbally. First when I chatted online with the customer services rep, she said they were still pending for vet approval. After question them with all the previous conversation history, they finally found out they indeed received the approval already so they will start the order processing. I even confirmed twice with the customer services that my order will be shipped in priority as I paid extra for the S/H for priority.

Then after 1 day I finally received the tracking number. Even the priority shipment said 2-4 business days, of course they will take the maximum, 4+ business days. So I wait and wait...today is the 5th business days and it has not arrived. When I checked the carrier site, the delivery date has been pushed for another 2 more days. How ridiculous can this be? And even on the 1800 petmeds order site, my order is being changed to a regular standard shipping method even I paid for priority shipping charges.

Bottom line, their BOLD words of 1800 petmeds is completely a lie. Will never order through them anymore. Such a scam business.
